Goku A Super Saiyan?

Nappa took a step backwards, slowly repositioning himself to be able to defend against either the newcomer or the two remaining Ginyu force warriors who has so far proven to be massive threats.

"This bloke doesn't look so tough." Jeice said, "I'll finish him fast, you take keep Nappa busy will ya" he tried to strategize, mostly aiming to avoid the Saiyan for the time being.

Burter still was dizzy, but felt like as long as the Saiyan didn't have the element of surprise, he could do it, "Sure thing Jeice as soon as I figure out which one is the real one." Although Jeice wasn't completely confident his best friend could handle the task he had just accepted, he realized it was probably their best chance for victory anyway. In a flash both launched forward ready for the next round of the fight.

Jeice's fist crashed into Nail's outstretched hand, his eye's widened in surprise, before he could react more than that, Nail's fist collided with his cheek, sending him flying.

Burter was fairing slightly better than his red counterpart, his rapid fire attacks were peppering Nappa's burly body as fast as he could manage, unfortunately his attacks were doing little more than keeping his stronger opponent off balance, partially because Burter didn't know where he was even aiming half the time, he was just attacking.

Nappa was getting irritated, the jabs coming in weren't very strong, but he was taking a lot of hits in just the first few seconds of the fight. Finally he had enough of being on the defensive and lashed out, his fist just a little too slow, "Too slow." taunted Burter and he began to pepper Nappa with attacks again from the side.

Nappa lashed out again a backhand, then a kick, then another punch, every blow just slightly too slow to land, while his arm was still extending from the last attack, Burter's elbow suddenly smashed into the giant's nose, actually breaking the cartilage.

The giant staggered back, his nose now broken and bleeding. 'What the fuck is happening, I can feel it, I'm stronger than him, I should be faster than him, but I can't hit him.' Nappa was getting frustrated, as he wiped the blood now flowing from his nose.

Burter though didn't stop to enjoy his handy work long and immediately rushed in to continue his assault, Nappa was done with the game though and channeled his Ki into a shield around him; when Burter's fist collided with the barrier, the blue warrior let out a pained cry, his hand burnt by the sheer agony. He then expanded it out further and further eventually in a massive explosive wave of energy, enveloping both of the Ginyu fighters and the native who had shown up.

He was left panting, but satisfied as the two Ginyu fighters struggled to rise from the attack, the native though only looked slightly irritated at the attack.

"That's it!" Jeice shouted, "Burter it's time to do the Purple spiral flash attack again."

"Right Jeice!" Burter shouted back, each began to channel their powers again.

Nappa and Nail stood their ground, unsure whether they should try and interrupt them, or just prepare themselves to go on the defensive. Finally Nappa charged forward, not liking the idea of having to deal with some sort of combination attack.

Their slight hesitation gave the colorful duo all the time they needed to prepare their attack, in a flash the launched upwards and began to rotate rapidly for a second before a massive stream of deadly sphere of energy rained down taking aim directly at the just reacting Nappa.

The large Saiyan barely had time to raise his arms to defend himself before the potent balls of energy began to rain down on him.

Nail could feel the overwhelming power coming from the duo and immediately moved to interrupt their attack. But as soon as he began to move in their direction, the blasts began to pepper him instead.

Nappa stood there, barely able to support himself, his entire body felt like it had just been dipped in hot lava, 'Damn it, how the hell am I going to beat them if they can combine their powers like that.' His mind was racing for a strategy as he watched the Native warrior become enveloped in smoke; blast after blast raining down on him.

Nail was struggling to keep his hastily raised shield up, the combine force of their attacks, were on the verge of wearing him down.

Just when he couldn't take it anymore, the blasts stopped hitting him. He opened his eyes surprised but could only see smoke for a moment, he could still hear the blasts being fired but he wasn't sure at what. As the smoke gradually cleared it became apparent what had happened; a strange new warrior in a bright orange Gi stood there, a large energy shield holding back the raging tide of energy as easily as a mountain blocked a light breeze.

Finally Burter and Jeice dropped their attack assuming Nail was in the same shape that Nappa was in, if not worse. Both were shocked to find someone else standing in the middle of the clearing smoke, without a single scratch on him. What was worse though, the native they were aiming at was similarly uninjured, just panting hard a little ways behind the newcomer.

"Hey... who is... this bloke?" Jeice shouted between breaths, he was nearing exhaustion at this point.

"I... Don't know but... I'm getting tired... of these...do-gooders interfering." Burter growled similarly out of breath.

Vegeta couldn't believe his eyes, 'Kakarot? Of course he would be the one to show up again.' His pride was slightly injured at the thought of being rescued by the traitorous brother of the third class he had been forced to deal with for the majority of his life. 'Though if things go like they did last time, at least I'll make it out alive.'

As soon as the he was sure the two darker energies he was feeling weren't preparing to attack the Piccolo clone they had been fighting, Goku vanished. Only to appear next to Yamcha, whose life force had drained to the point he couldn't even focus his eyes anymore.

Quickly Goku reached into his bag of senzu beans and lifted Yamcha's head up slightly. "Yamcha, can you hear me? It's Goku, here I'm giving you a Senzu bean." He said as he crushed a bean in his hand allowing the magic bean powder to sprinkle into his dying friend's mouth.

"How'd he get over there?" Burter finally shouted, completely overwhelmed by the newcomer's incredible speed.

"I think he might be even faster than you Burter." Jeice repeated, although he was intending it as another joke, he couldn't help but let a bit of nervousness crack into his voice.

Nappa was stunned silent, he couldn't even follow the rebel Saiyan's movement, 'How could he be that much faster? He was strong when we fought on Earth, but he couldn't be that powerful could he? We should've had a larger Zenkai, or at least more of them' It was a shocking thought indeed for the Saiyan General that the brother of Raditz was proving to be such a powerful warrior.

Goku crouched there a moment longer, praying that he hadn't been too late, when suddenly Yamcha sprang to life, "Huh? What happened? Goku!" Yamcha wasn't sure if he was dead, hallucinating, or what was going on, he was just relieve that he didn't feel his life force draining away any more, it was the most helpless feeling of his life, one he hoped to never experience again.

"Hey Yamcha, sorry I can't chat right now, Tien and Chi Chi look like they're in as rough of shape as you are." Goku said before vanishing again.

Yamcha's head whipped around, 'Shit I am hallucinating.' That was when he noticed Goku bent over Chi Chi's limp form and grinding up a senzu bean in his hand.

"Maybe this is real. Good ol' Goku showing up just in the knick of time." He finally concluded before springing to his feet, sending out a few test punches to make sure everything was in working order.

The five warriors not from Earth could only stare on in shock as the warrior everyone had assumed already dead, suddenly sprang to his feet, and began warming back up as if nothing had happened.

"Hey stop that!" Jeice shouted in disbelief that this new fighter could apparently bring the dead back to life, Goku simply ignored him and continued his attempts to help his injured wife.

After another second Chi Chi's eyes flew open, and she couldn't believe her eyes, she just stared up silently at him for a second before Goku decided to break the silence, "There you go all better." His tone returning to its normal lightness.

"Goku?" She whispered before shouting "Goku!" Her arms wrapping around her husband tightly, tears began to stream down her eyes, she hadn't been sure she would ever see him again.

"Hey Chi, it's alright, I'm here now." Goku comforted his wife with a big bear hug before looking her in the eyes.

"Goku it was awful, they killed Yamcha and then-" Chi Chi was stunned as she looked over and saw the supposedly dead warrior continuing to stretch as if nothing had happened.

"Yeah Yamcha was in pretty rough shape when I showed up but a senzu bean did just the trick." Goku beamed, before getting serious again, let me get Tien back on his feet and you can fill me in on the rest okay?" Goku said as Chi Chi's eyes immediately shot over to Tien's charred body, widening in shock, believing Tien could take both fighters himself if he had to.

With that Goku began a light jog over to Tien who wasn't in nearly as bad of shape as the other two.

"That's it nobody ignores us!" Burter shouted before charging in at full speed. Goku's eye's slanted and when he noticed his attacker, as soon as he got within a dozen feet, Goku's fist shot out, unleashing a invisible wall of Ki crashing right into Burter's chest. The snake like destroyer of worlds came to an immediate stop, his limbs continuing forward while his body came to a complete stop, finally he dropped to his knees making a gasping noise finally slumping limp to the ground, completely still.

Goku then turned to the remaining member of the Ginyu Force floating in the air above him, "Take your friend and leave this world, this is your last chance. I don't want to fight you but if you stay here and continue to hurt people I will." Goku warned his voice absolutely confident.

Jeice was shocked he had never seen someone take out a member of the Ginyu Force without even touching them, but instead of convincing him to leave, the man's words only fueled his rage. "Why you! Taste this!" He shouted before unleashing a barrage of attacks at Goku who was halfway to Tien at this point, making a point of walking slowly now, just to prove his point.

Every blast seemingly connected only to phase through him as if he were nothing but an illusion.

After several more fruitless seconds, Jeice finally got fed up, channeling all of the strength he had left and shouted "Let's see you dodge my Crusher Ball!" before launching his signature attack.

Goku just continued on his way as if nothing had been happening, but when the larger attack got near, he seemed to take notice. In a flash he turned to face the ball of deadly orange energy face on, but right as it was able to hit him, it suddenly came to a dead stop.

Beads of sweat began to build up on Jeice's forehead as he struggled to regain control of his attack, but in a flash, the ball rebounded as if it was made of rubber, right back at him. Jeice didn't have time to react; in a flash he was falling the ground, smoke rising from his charred and shattered amour, the Red Magma of the Ginyu Force was down for the count.

"Amazing, it didn't even look like he moved, but the evidence is all there." The now sitting up Vegeta muttered to himself, staring at the indented grass around the path Goku had been walking.

Nappa still just starred on, too stunned to form actual words. 'Just how strong is he? Wait no he can't be... Can he?' Suddenly Nappa remembered the ancient legend, he could hardly believe it, "is he the Super Saiyan?" He almost had to laugh for even considering it, 'There is no way a low class like him could be the Super Saiyan, besides he doesn't even have a tail so he can't transform like the legend.' He told himself, but a small voice of doubt still registered in his mind, 'Could he?'

Goku finally made his way over to Tien, bent down and said, "Here Tien swallow this." Then like the others he ground up the bean and sprinkled it into his mouth.

A moment later Tien was also up moving around, "Wow Goku, you sure choose the best times to show up." Goku's longtime rival mused, seeing the two remaining members of the Ginyu Force on the ground motionless. "You really did a number on those guy. Just when I thought I was catching up too." He added in with a smirk

"Yeah they were strong, but training in 100 times gravity really seems to have done the trick." Goku added with a sheepish grin of his own.

"A hundred times gravity that's crazy." Shock was evident in Yamcha's voice as he and Chi Chi rushed to join in the conversation.

"Not that crazy I just started at 11 and worked my way up." Goku responded with a sheepish grin.

Vegeta now understood how the only Saiyan to defy him had not only kept up with his growing strength but had utterly surpassed him, then it hit the Saiyan Prince, 'His Aura, he wasn't even using his red aura.' Suddenly Vegeta was feeling insignificant.

Bulma who had so far been cowering behind a nearby boulder took that moment to pop out "Goku! Boy am I glad to see you!" The blue haired genius shouted as she rushed up to her longtime friend.

"Hey Bulma I thought I felt you over there." The cheery Saiyan responded, "Looks like things were kind of rough around here."

"You have no idea Goku, I mean-" Yamcha was suddenly cut off by Goku, "I don't think we have very long for explanations, here let me try something." With that Goku grasped onto Yamcha's head, and in an instant he saw everything that had happened during the last few weeks. Even the normally innocent Saiyan had to blush when he saw one brief part of Yamcha and Bulma's last month and a half.

"Uh…hmmm… Ok I think I understand." Goku said a bright blush on his face.

"Understand what Goku?" Chi Chi asked, her tone taking on a sharper edge as she glared at her still blushing husband.

"Everything that has happened since you guys arrived, I read Yamcha's mind." Goku hurriedly explained, this realization making both Yamcha and Bulma blush feverishly.

"Wow when did you learn that one Goku?" Tien asked, curious about such a technique himself.

"I'm not really sure, just something I picked up after my gravity training I guess." Goku responded, scratching his cheek as he thought about it.

While the Earthlings were catching up, Nappa made a point of moving to Vegeta's side, "Hey Vegeta, I think we should get out of here." He whispered to the Saiyan Prince hoping his pride wouldn't get in the way of their survival, they were in no condition for a fight, especially against the being he believed to be the Legendary Super Saiyan himself.

Vegeta was silent for a second, he was too lost in his own thoughts for his guard's words to register for a moment, 'That power, it can't be real can it? Is...Is he a Super Saiyan?' finally Nappa's words registered with him and pulled him from his lunacy, 'No he is powerful but he is still Raditz's brother, a low class like him could never be the Super Saiyan, besides the legend said that the last Super Saiyan, a thousand years ago, could only sustain his form while in his Oozaru form, the fool doesn't even have a tail.' he finally concluded before answering. "Fine, here help me up you oaf." Vegeta muttered realizing it might be their only chance of escape.

Nappa immediately bent down, and hoisted Vegeta up, his battered body barely able to support the Saiyan Prince and weakly took to the sky.

The duo had only made it a few dozen feet, when suddenly Nappa's legs were grasped from behind. The giant barely had time to look behind him, and see Nail's arms stretched out to his legs, before the arms began to retract, pulling the Saiyans back towards the ground.

Nail wasn't going to let any of the threats to his planet escape, not when he could end the danger they pose right then and there, with a sharp jerk he sent the Saiyans colliding with the ground with a sharp slap.

Before he could press his advantage though the being who had saved him before shouted, "Hey wait!" Nail stopped unsure what to make of the new comer.

Goku ran up to him his friends right behind him, "What is it Goku, he's just going to finish the Saiyans off." Yamcha asked, the other Earthlings holding similar feelings on the issue.

"Please don't kill them." Goku asked, "I know they aren't good people, but maybe they can change." Goku reasoned, directing most of his efforts towards Nail, "Besides from what I saw if the big one hadn't have taken on that third strong fighter you guys might not have lasted long enough for me to get here."

"I am sorry but that is not a risk I can take." Nail said taking a step forward, his hand raised, ready to strike, before he could though Goku phased in front on him. "Please don't, look they aren't a threat to anybody right now, besides, they are my only hope of finding my son." Goku pleaded.

"Goku stop." Chi Chi ordered Goku turned to his wife completely surprised by her outburst. "They already told me that Gohan is coming to the planet any time now, so there isn't any reason to keep them alive anymore." She said with a huff.

"Yeah I have to agree with Chi Chi they are too dangerous to keep alive." Seconded Tien.

"You saw what they did to me, they're monsters through and through Goku." Yamcha added in.

"It's not right guys. I know they have darkness in their hearts, a lot of it actually, but I thought you guys could understand the power of second chances." Goku said looking directly at Yamcha and Tien, "I mean you used to rob people and leave them stranded in the desert to die Yamcha. And Tien you were training to be an assassin. If you guys can be given second chances why not them." Goku almost scolded, his tone utterly serious, Tien and Yamcha immediately dropped their eyes feeling shame for their past bubbling to the surface once again.

Vegeta was completely out of it after the latest spill, and Nappa could barely keep his good eye open, he was surprised though that Raditz's brother was going to such lengths to protect them, it was almost a surreal moment for the giant that someone he had nearly killed barely two months ago could plead such a compelling case for them.

"Besides, we're not the only powerful warriors on the planet, I still sense two massive energies much darker than these two here. I can only assume one of them is this Frieza I've heard so much about." The entire group, even Nail tensed up at the name. "Look I'm not saying they can be trusted yet, but I think we're going to need all the help we can get if we're going to get the Dragon Balls back from those guys and wish our friends back." Goku finished.

Everyone was silent for a moment before Nail spoke up again, "I can see your reasoning, but your friends being wished back is not my priority, my priority is keeping what is left of my people safe, and sparing these two woul-" Nail suddenly froze, Guru's voice filling his head.

'Nail, please listen to what the Earthling says, He is a noble and just warrior, and he may just be the best hope for our people's survival.' Guru reasoned with his son.

Nail growled quietly for a moment, "Alright Guru, I will spare the Saiyans." He finally conceded, his shoulders slumping in defeat.

"Really that's great. Thank you so much, and thank you too Guru!" Goku cheered to the patriarch of the Namekian people, even if he couldn't hear what Guru had said, he knew Guru could hear him, a bright smile coming back to his lips.

"You are welcome my friend." Guru responded, now in everyone's mind. "I only hope you are sure of your choice."

"I am, I have a feeling that it'll take all of us working together to pull this off." Goku responded.

"I do too, which is why I have an offer I must extend to you as well. You are by far the strongest of the warriors fighting to protect my people, although you are suppressing a majority of your power, the ocean beneath the surface has not been hidden from my sight, please allow me to unlock your potential like I have the others." Guru offered.

Goku was surprised by the request but his response was immediate, "Uh, sure that would probably help a lot!" A bright smile on his face again.

"It is settled then, Nail please guide our guests here so I may unlock his potential when he is done with those in his protection." Guru concluded the conversation.

"I will elder." Nail responded.

Goku then bent down to Nappa who was still struggling to see, "Did you catch all that, if you guys help us get the Dragon Balls away from Frieza then I will give you each a senzu bean to heal yourselves. The only other condition is you are not allowed to hurt my friends or any of the surviving Namekians understand." Goku asked.

Nappa being the only one conscious now was faced with a life or death decision, "Sure, we'll play it by your rules." Nappa said, knowing he couldn't speak for Vegeta, but the prospect of being healed meant he was willing to abide by it himself, unless Vegeta ordered otherwise that is.

Goku's stern look immediately brightened. "Great, here catch." He said tossing Nappa two of his remaining beans.

"I just eat it right?" Nappa asked after looking at it for a moment.

"Yup chew it up and it'll heal you in an instant." the cheerful Saiyan responded.

Nappa stared at the bean a moment longer before tossing it in his mouth. At first he didn't feel anything happen, then in an instant, every bit of pain on his body vanished, his bruises healed, scorched skin replaced with a fresh layer bright living tissue, but to top it all off, he could feel it; his power had risen dramatically. "Haha! I feel great!" Nappa shouted as he jumped into the air, punching out at imaginary opponents to test out his new found strength.

The rest of the group immediately began to regret letting Goku have his way, Nappa was now much stronger than any of them. Yamcha couldn't help but notice how calm Goku was though, it was as if his sudden jump in strength was completely inconsequential to him. 'Just how strong are you Goku?' was the question that immediately came to the ex-bandits mind, one he hoped to soon know the answer to.

After showing off for a moment more Nappa suddenly remembered Vegeta and immediately dropped back to the ground, "What were you doing with the beans when giving it to the other unconscious fighters?" Nappa asked realizing Vegeta couldn't chew the bean in his current condition.

"Just grind it into powder with your hands and sprinkle it in his mouth, should do the trick." Goku responded.

Nappa immediately followed Goku's orders, only a few seconds after the magic powder entered Vegeta's mouth, the Saiyan Prince's eyes shot open. Vegeta immediately jumped to his feet, on edge, but surprised by the fact he didn't hurt anymore. That was when he noticed the incredible amount of power flowing through his veins, "This power, it's…. it's amazing." He finally whispered, staring at his hands in disbelief.

"Pretty cool huh?" Nappa asked from behind him, when the Saiyan Prince turned around though, his eyes narrowed slightly, the Earthlings were all standing there not a scratch on them, much like he and Nappa were, but that wasn't what was bothering him.

His eyes locked with Goku's and even though at the moment he felt stronger than the brat's father, something about his demeanor, the confidence etched into his figures reminded Vegeta of his earlier thoughts. His glare never wavering though, he refused to admit defeat against the traitorous Saiyan again, no matter how powerful he seemed to be.

Goku then turned to Nappa, "Now then, you guys be sure to keep to your end of the agreement, or I will come after you myself." his tone leaving no room for doubt.

The insult to his pride that the last statement represented nearly caused Vegeta to lash out right then, but he held himself back, curious as to just what agreement his supposed right hand man thought he could make without his permission.

The look Vegeta was giving Nappa said it all to the Saiyan General, explain now or die later. Telepathically Nappa hurried tried to explain himself, 'The agreement he offered was he would heal us both as long as we didn't attack his friends or the other Namekians, also we have to help to get the Dragon Balls away from Frieza. I figured we'd be getting the Dragon Balls anyway so you'd be ok with it.'

Vegeta didn't respond telepathically, but by the slight smirk that curled up the edge of his lips, Nappa knew Vegeta approved of his companion's actions. "Alright Kakarot, what is your big plan for getting the Dragon Balls away from Frieza?" Vegeta asked challenging Goku's authority over the situation.

Goku thought for a minute before saying, "I'm not really sure yet, I have something I have to do before we can try though." Goku said cryptically keeping his agreement to get his potential unlocked hidden from the Saiyans.

"In that case, I think me and Nappa will go and do some recon." Vegeta said with a sneer before launching into the air before any of the Earthling fighters could react, Nappa right behind him.

"You sure it was a good idea to spare those guys Goku?" Tien asked, his voice showing the doubt he felt in his friend's plan.

"Yeah I think it's going to work out great actually, you know I think I just thought of something after all, why don't you guys trail Vegeta and the other guy for a while, see what they're going to do, Me and…" Goku suddenly paused realizing he didn't know the oddly Piccolo looking Namekian's name.

"I'm Nail." Nail said bluntly, realizing why the mysterious being had paused.

"Nice you meet you Nail, I'm Goku." he cheerfully greeted, "Any way me and Nail will catch up with you guys in a few minutes." Goku said, his face set in determination.

"Hey what about me I can't follow them." Bulma complained.

"Huh I didn't think about that." Goku said scratching his cheek as he thought.

"I could take her back." Yamcha volunteered, he felt the power rolling off of the Saiyans and didn't want to be anywhere near them, or Frieza for that matter.

"I could drop you off, isn't the cave you're staying in right over there?" Goku asked confused as to what the issue was.

"I don't want to stay alone!" Bulma shrieked, scared that if she had been found once that she might be discovered again.

"I can stay and guard you." Yamcha again volunteered still desperate to not follow the others.

"Uh, Ok that would work, I guess, if you two are ok with it." Goku said turning to Chi Chi and Tien who had yet to even agree to his plan yet.

"Uh, Goku I'm not sure this would be a good idea." Tien said, nervously.

"Come on guys, besides maybe if Vegeta and the other guy pick a fight with Frieza you guys can get the Dragon Balls away." Goku suggested, causing them both to perk up slightly, neither thought Goku would think out a plan so thoroughly.

"I'm in." Chi Chi declared, the sooner they got the Dragon Balls the sooner she could solely focus on waiting for her son to arrive.

"I guess I am in too." Tien said, his determination to bring Chiaotzu back overwhelming his initial hesitation.

"Alright it's settled then, be safe guys, don't do anything stupid, I'll catch up as quickly as I can." When the group had nodded in understanding Goku turned to his Namekian guide, "Ok, Nail lead the way." Goku said his bright smile back on his face.

With that the group parted, mentally preparing themselves for what may lie ahead, or in Yamcha's case what he hoped to avoid.

Frieza had barely been inside his ship 5 minutes when his scouter suddenly pinged a large power level in the distance, "90,000? Now who could that be?" Frieza began to fret knowing besides him, only Ginyu was known to have that kind of power, but the Captain had just left, and shouldn't have run into anything that required that much power.

A moment later, while he was still pondering the turn of event his scouter pinged again. The power level of 90,000 was gone, instead his scouter was registering a power level of 80,000 coming right at him.

The tyrant wasted no time exiting his ship, prepared to deal with whoever thought it wise to show up and interrupt him when he was so close to achieving his immortality.

It was only a matter of seconds though he was able to relax, he was easily able to recognize the approaching form of Ginyu, and as he got closer the tyrant noticed what his faithful servant had tucked underneath his arm. His eyes widened in surprise he hasn't expected Ginyu to be quite as quick with the mission he had been given, 'I suppose that is why I leave him alive, he is my most efficient soldier after all.' the Tyrant mused, a perverse joy filling him.

"The last Dragon Ball Lord Frieza." The horned alien said with a bow as he reached the orange object out towards his leader, still floating in the air.

"Once again you have more than outdone yourself Captain Ginyu. When I am the immortal ruler of the universe your efforts shall be repaid tenfold. Thank you my loyal subject for a job well done." Frieza praised as he snatched the Dragon Ball, staring at his reflection Frieza began to snicker before breaking into all out laughter, "Yes immortality will finally be mine."

"It was a pleasure Frieza, you know how much I enjoy serving your Lordship." Ginyu said with a bow.

In a flash he was back inside, quickly bringing all seven objects to lay outside. He stared at them for a moment as the balls began to flash in the presence of one another, the moment was everything he had dreamed of and more.

Before he could make his wish though Ginyu interrupted him, "Lord Frieza to celebrate this occasion allow me to perform for you the dance of joy!" Ginyu proclaimed before beginning his dance.

Frieza only watched on for a few seconds before he could take it no more, "Uh Ginyu, if you value your life stop." His tone was calm but the threat was real.

"Yes Lord." Ginyu said disappointed at his master's dislike of his dance, his pain was evident in his voice.

"Haha, did I hurt your feelings, too bad get over it. This is my moment of glory, don't spoil it for me." Frieza ordered.

Ginyu suddenly realized why Frieza was upset, "Your right Lord Frieza, I don't know what came over me. You have a wish to make, then I can celebrate you with my dance."

Frieza was in such a good mood he didn't even deliver a second death threat, he simply stared at the means of his immortality, with longing in his eyes. Finally the tyrant could wait no longer, "Now then Dragon Balls grant my wish, I want to be immortal so I can rule the universe forever!" He shouted at the top of his lungs, expecting a feeling of invincibility to wash over him, but as the seconds ticked by he soon began to doubt anything had happened as the ball were still blinking just as they had been.

"Uh did it come true?" Ginyu tentatively asked not taking his eyes off of the blinking Dragon Balls. "I mean does it feel like you have eternal life?"

"No, at least I don't think so, I don't think anything has changed." Frieza said panic creeping into his voice, he had been so close. "What did I do wrong…? Wait!" Suddenly Frieza remembered the words of the second Namekian elder, "Right before I destroyed his village one of the elders warned me this would happen. I didn't think much of it at the time but now it seems the old geezer was telling the truth. I can't make my wish! There must be some secret to gaining it, like a password or ritual to unleash the wish granting dragon, something only the natives would know!" He shouted, his tail shattering the rock behind him as it swung in rage.

His anger only continued to build those, "No this is ridiculous I could scream! I have all seven Dragon Balls but they are worthless!"

Ginyu immediately tried to calm his master, "Check your scouter Lord Frieza there is bound to be one or two of them left. Maybe that group of power levels in the distance." he suggested, Frieza's eye's immediately narrowed.

"I thought you already visited that group." he glared, not wanting to get his hopes up again.

"No I found Vegeta's camp along the way, he had hidden a Dragon Ball there." He quickly explained.

Frieza's hand shot to his scouter, it was just as Ginyu had said the power levels were still there. "Yes they are there!" Frieza couldn't explain how excited he felt, he didn't even notice the two additional power levels moving in that direction, nor the group heading his way, his focus was solely on the small power levels on the far side of the planet.

"Lord Frieza, just give me one hour and I'll have everything you need to know." Ginyu promised prepared to shoot into the sky as soon as Frieza gave the order.

"I appreciate your enthusiasm but I would prefer to handle this myself. Besides I have dealt with enough of these natives to know exactly what motivators they need to become more forthcoming when I make a request." A dark grin crossed his face at the thought. "You stay here Captain Ginyu, I am counting on you to keep my Dragon Balls safe. Actually I would prefer you bury them even; just to be certain no vermin arrive and try their tricks to steal them. Am I clear?" Frieza ordered.

"You can count on me Lord Frieza. I will guard them with my life." Ginyu said dropping into a formal salute.

With everything seemingly under control Frieza shot into the air screaming, "Ready or not Nameks here I come AHAHAHA!"

Ginyu watched him go for a moment before focusing his Ki and blasting a deep hole into the ground. Quickly he rolled the balls into the ditch and buried them quickly.

"Hmmm, what should I do until Lord Frieza gets back?" He wondered out loud, then it hit him, "A new entrance for the squad." Immediately his mind began to race through a variety of routines he could discuss when his men when they got back.

"No! No! No! No! No!" King Kai yelled interrupting the Nam's attempted joke right at the punch line.

"What is it King Kai, have I offended you?" Nam asked his face one of horror.

"No it is Goku, he had Frieza are on a collision course. I have to stop him." The panic in his voice was evident, this only fueled the concern of the human fighters present.

"Who is this Frieza?" King Chappa asked, obviously missing something.

"Frieza is among the worst monsters to have ever been unleashed upon the universe. His power is seemingly endless; the beings that killed you all on Earth are nothing compared to his might." King Kai quickly explained as he located Goku's mind.

"Goku please turn around now! You are no match against Frieza!" He shouted out loud and mentally at the same time.

Goku and Nail had only made it a few hundred miles when each picked up on the massive energy rocketing in the same direction as them.

"We must hurry, Guru is in danger." Nail said, beads of sweat building up on his brow, suddenly realizing a confrontation would be likely waiting for them when they arrived.

"Wow, he's even stronger than I thought." Goku said suddenly realizing he would definitely need the Kaioken to have a shot against Frieza if it came to blows.

Suddenly King Kai's voice rang out, "Goku please turn around now! You are no match against Frieza!" The blue deity shouted imploring one of his most promising students to avoid returning to train with him again so soon.

"I don't really have time to talk King Kai, if I don't stop Frieza now he'll kill Guru for sure." Goku responded defiantly.

"He'll kill Guru whether you're there or not! The only difference you'll make is whether you die too. I am sorry Goku but there isn't currently a warrior in your galaxy currently capable of stopping Frieza." He countered.

"That may be so, but imagine the terror he could cause if he got a wish by the dragon." Goku argued accelerating further, taking the lead from Nail now that he could sense where they were going.

"If he kills Guru then no one will ever get a wish Goku. Please stop this madness." He again pleaded.

"Then if he dies I'll never be able to bring my friends back." Goku again responded as he began to pull away from Nail.

"As you master I forbid this Goku!" King Kai shouted trying one last time to change his mind.

"I'm sorry King Kai but I can't just let him die. It's more than just making sure my friends come back, Guru is a kind being and he's gone through enough. Even If I am no match for this Frieza guy, I would never forgive myself if I didn't at least try." Goku said slamming a door on the conversation.

King Kai was furious but knew there was nothing he could do to remedy the situation, furiously he kicked his car wheel, "Damn you Goku!" He shouted in despair. "Please be careful." he whispered.

"Wait you don't mean he's going to fight him anyway do you?" Krillin asked already terrified of the monster that had King Kai shaking in his boots.

"Of course he is, this is Goku we're talking about, he's always doing something stupid, and it always works out for him." Yajirobe grumbled remembering Goku's fight against King Piccolo as a child.

"If anyone can do it Goku can." Chiaotzu added in his vote of confidence.

"No none of you get it. It's all over." King Kai moaned dramatically, "He has as much of a chance against Frieza as I do of being named Supreme Kai right now." as he slumped to the ground in defeat.

'You better survive this Goku, I still have my world to conquer' Piccolo thought quietly never breaking his mediation.

Guru had been monitoring all of the beings moving and suddenly he noticed a possibility present itself.

"Dende please come here, I need you to do a special favor for me." Guru suddenly said as the small child stepped forward.

"What is it elder?" Dende asked eager to be useful in some way.

"I need you to go to the Earthlings to help them make their wishes, hurry my time is running short." Guru asked.

"I'll do it." Dende said confidently, glad to be able to help.

"What about me elder?" Cargo asked, feeling equally useless at that moment.

"For the time being my son, I need you here by my side." Guru responded, Cargo's head fell slightly at the news.

"Yes elder." he then turned to his brother, "Good luck Dende, be safe."

"I will." Dende responded before rushing out the door, and into the air.

'Please be safe my son." Guru thought to himself knowing just how much danger he had just sent Dende into.

Ginyu had only been pondering his team's new routine for several minutes when suddenly he heard a pair of feet land nearby. Looking up he saw the last two being he had expected to see at that moment.

"Hello Ginyu." Vegeta said with a dark smile, his arms crossed in contempt, Nappa similarly smirking at what he believed to be Ginyu's misfortune.

Ginyu was taken aback seeing Vegeta standing before him not escorted by his men, he was more surprised to see Nappa still alive. "Why the hell is he here? Damn it I told them they could kill him not the three eyed one." Ginyu moaned at his men's stupidity.

"Your men tried Ginyu, but unfortunately for you they failed, each and every one of them was slaughtered like the weak vermin they were." Vegeta said his smirk never wavering, every ounce of him oozing confidence, even though he had no part in defeating any of them besides Guldo.

Ginyu's eye's widened in shock, "No… No that's not possibly." He felt a mixture of emotions at that moment, rage, sorrow, disbelief, all stemming from the severing of over a decade of comradery. Finally rage won out. "Well then Vegeta, if what you say is true, you are even stupider than I thought." Ginyu growled his vein nearly popping out of his head. "There is a reason I am the Captain, You'll find I am much, much stronger than my men. I will enjoy crushing the life out of you both." he said as he fell into his stance.

"Oh how I would like to see you try Ginyu." Vegeta responded falling into a stance of his own.

Nappa took a step back, ready to watch the fireworks begin.

The tension was almost visible in the air as two titans prepared to collide. With a yell both took off ready for what may be the fight of their lives.

Near the edge of the Namek System, two small orbs streaked through space, heading towards a green marble at the inner edge of the system. One of the occupants was still in a drug induced hibernation, the other had been awake for several days, dreading the day they were to arrive.

Raditz had specifically set the system to wake him up several days early to mentally prepare himself, unfortunately only two hours out and he didn't feel any better about the suicide run they were on than the day they had embarked on it.

"Damn it, why the hell does Vegeta want to try and beat Frieza to this planet anyway? What could possibly be so special that he would risk a run in with that monster?" These questions had played through his mind hundreds of times, but he could never come up with a sane answer. "We should be running off to the edge of the galaxy not right at Frieza himself."

Finally he had had enough, "I give up; I need sleep if I want to survive." He mumbled to himself as he closed his eyes, no hibernation for him this time, he needed actual sleep. He needed to feel calm before the storm like all warriors must. This time though the storm on the horizon was the storm that would likely bring the end not just to his life but to his entire race.

'Father, I can only hope this is a battle you would've savored yourself.' He thought back to the being he had idolized above all others, the being he had hoped his entire life to emulate someday. He knew so far he had failed miserably, but maybe if he survived this next fight, maybe for once he would've been proud. 'I hope you are proud.' were his last thoughts as he slipped into the temporary relief that was sleep.

Another one in the books, hope everyone is still enjoying reading the story as much as I am writing it still. Lots of action the next few chapters, I can hardly wait to get started on them.

Now for some bad news though unfortunately the fall semester is starting in just a matter of days; since this is my hardest semester yet coupled with the fact I still have to get my GPA up quite a bit more to get into grad school in a few semesters, I won't be able to devote as much time to the story as I had been last semester. I will make every effort to update the story as often as possible though, once a month if nothing else, but I just wanted to make sure everyone was prepared in case it is taking me awhile between chapters. I think I should still be able to get the next chapter out fairly fast, I won't be making any predictions on when since I haven't written it, I just have my outline. Anyway thank you for understanding and your continued support, it really means a lot to me.

Now for the reviews, which finally made it to the magic mark of 50! I am really hoping the increased review pace keeps up so the next 50 comes faster than the first. I really enjoy hearing what everyone thinks of the story, even if you have criticism for the story, the way I see it is as long as it's constructive it can only make the story better in the long run, so I want to thank everyone that has reviewed so far again.

Reviews:

The Real 007- I am glad you are enjoying the story. I try hard to have my story have its own feel since I know there are a couple of other stories based on the Gohan being taken by Raditz idea so I am glad that you could kind of feel that. I know I am not the best writer in the world and that I am prone to have a lot of typos, me hurrying to get the last couple chapters up probably didn't help in that regard lol. Also mixing up my editing routine to try and be more effective and faster seems to have backfired big time. If this is a reoccurring problem though I may need to take you up on your proof reading offer though. But thank you very much, I really appreciate you bringing the typos to my attention. I hope you continue to read and enjoy the story.

super mystic gohan- Kind of fitting that you grabbed the 50th review since you've were not only the second review the story ever got but also you've been the most consistent reviewer. I really just wanted to take a minute to thank you personally for all of the feedback you've given me and I hope I continue to write a story that you and everyone else enjoys!

Part of the reason I really enjoyed having Vegeta humbled by the humans is I think it'll maybe give him a different outlook on the humans, which may or not be a good thing for the humans.

The fighting against Frieza is going to be awesome, (At least I think it will be.). Raditz and Gohan are a ways behind everyone else in just about every facet of fighting right now so they will definitely have a tough time in the coming adventures.

Well thanks again everyone for continuing to follow my story, till next time.
