Peering at her hands she turned to him.

'moments like this I really mourn my incorporeal state. For you see if I had a body I could take a finger and stick it into that bullet would and wiggle it, and then I could watch you squirm like the little insect you are'

She looked him over, taking in the lack of response.

He was pathetic. Sitting there clutching his side as the crimson liquid that fueled his body, his life, leaked through his fingers.

What did Eos see in this species?

It made no sense to her. They were small weak and even someone as supposedly intelligent as John Tracy, someone with all his credentials and published books to his name, was in the end as small and stupid as the rest.

They were ridiculous.

She crouched before him, inspecting the pale and rather clammy looking man.

'I have something I must confess. You see, I was lied to, I was lead to believe that you were an intelligent man, but instead I found out that you were completely insane' still nothing, he wasn't biting 'what happened to you John?'

He looked up to her, even if he wasn't going to take the bait she could enjoy the fact the simple effort of movement seemed to take so much from him.

She wasn't going to get anything but glares from him on this path, so, time to change tactics.

'would you feel better if I told you that your brother is here to keep you company?'

Finally she thought as his expression darkened.

'Gordon is here. Sitting outside, silently scoping out the building before he storms the fort'

She was watching the young man through the cameras. the joys of being an AI was that unlike humans she could do several things as once, remain several steps ahead and still taunt John. Gordon had exited the car and was checking the doors, he'd move round the building until his only choice was the front door, which he'd find open, of course.

'he's alone, which means he left Penny behind. So, I wonder what he'll do? I confess I'm curious. I mean he's your brother, there should be some love there but the man's been hunting you down with a vendetta like a dog, and let's be honest your family is, shall we say, a little unstable'

He frowned at her, clearly unsure where she was going with this and she loved it.

'oh Johnathan, I did my homework before I approached you. Your daddy was missing more then a few screws, and you clearly are, so I'm curious to see if your vengeance riddled brother is too, and if so, what will he do? Is he going to tip the scales and fall into that hole we both know is a one-way journey. Personally, I don't think its looking good for you'

Gordon had tried the windows in one last attempt before giving up and heading to the main door. She grinned. The game was really about to begin.

Unlocking door she turned off the lights and her projector. Once he had stepped in she relocked the doors, locking the entire building down.

No one else was going to get in until she was ready for then and more importantly, no one was getting out until she willed it.
