Been a while since I wrote in this. Things have been busy—been a year? Maybe since my last entery —checked and yeah. I guess that's a good thing? I mean Kayo got me this to help with the whole nightmares and stuff, and it helped, so I guess means things are better? Honestly I'd forgotten about this. I should try and get back into the habit of writing in this. So, to start, a quick update on things.
Virgil has his final, uh, not sure what you'd call it, final hands? No more upgrades, anyway, and Scott is walking now, got crutches, but he's walking, his stubbornness finally paying off, it seems.
No sight or hearing yet, but Brains is still confident he can do something about that.
Oh, Scott and Katie are dating, I don't think anyone is surprised. As soon as Scott got out of the hospital, he asked her out for dinner and she said yes. Since then it's been every couple of weeks he's been seeing her, they've been talking almost every day according to Virgil.
And Gordon proposed to Penny—her answer being 'about time,' apparently. They're happy and the wedding is set for next March. Penny is excited and is driving Gordon and Parker mad with what she wants. It's going to be a big event.
And Parker and Grandma have been out for a couple of meals—apparently totally not dates (so completely dates).
Finally.
Eos has been musing on the idea that if Naunet had managed to survive, maybe her siblings did as well. She's been carefully branching out, though for the moment she is on a 'lockdown' or something, restraints put in place after the whole thing—understandable but I think unfair. She didn't know. She has, however, been able to piece together what happened last year and finally seems to have an answer on what happened.
Turns out the GDF has a building full of old craft, one of which was stolen. It was that stolen craft that blew up—Naunet had help, they turned it into a bomb and then lured Scoot and Virgie out there. She hasn't told anyone else this yet, unsure how it would go down (I've been helping her where I can, apparently I'm the only person on her side); she wants to be absolutely certain about things before she brings it up. I think that's a pretty good idea, honestly.
Oh, got a new letter from Johnny. (He has been staying in a hospital, can't remember if I wrote that before, too lazy to check). He's been given the all clear, allowed to leave when he wants now, but he says he wants to stay for the moment. He didn't say why but I get the feeling he doesn't want to face what he did. I can't blame him, part of me doesn't want to see him either, but he can't stay away forever.
I miss him.
Anyway, yeah that's everything I can think of right now.
