Chapter 63

Jaime sighed as she looked at Hunter and could tell he was overjoyed and super excited at the moment. He wanted to tell everyone their news, now that they knew what they were having. Jaime knew that he had already called some of his family and Jaime had to smile at the fact that he was so excited and she was happy to see that her husband was so happy to become a father. Jaime looked up as Tyler and Edge came into the room and she smiled at her friend as she realized that Tyler seemed more at peace and that made Jaime hope that their little one was all right.

"You look better today." Jaime said as she looked at her best friend.

"I should, since our son is now officially out of the NICU and he gets to stay with us." Tyler said excited as a nurse wheeled an infant bassinet that the hospital uses behind the wheelchair that Edge was pushing.

"Oh my goodness, it's a boy? He's all right?" Jaime asked as she clapped her hands together and felt tears in her eyes.

"Yes, it's a boy and we named him Adam Jr. I think we are going to call him AJ or Jr." Tyler said with a look filled with so much love as she looked between her two guys. Edge took the baby out of the bassinet and handed him to Tyler and she cuddled him close but pushed the blanket off his face so that Jaime and Hunter could see the baby's face.

"He's so cute." Jaime said as she smiled as Hunter used his thumbs to wipe the tears off her face. She leaned into him as he kissed the top of her head and then put his arm around her shoulder and pulled her tightly into his side. He placed one hand on her belly and lightly rubbed it, which had the two little ones kicking away at the feel of someone touching her belly.

"We think so. So Edge said that Hunter said that you two learned what you're having, so when were you going to tell me?" Tyler asked as she arched an eyebrow at her friend and then glanced at her swollen belly.

Jaime shared a look with her husband. They had been trying to decide whether or not to tell people but since Hunter couldn't keep it a secret from his family and had even told some of his old WWE pals, she figured they were just going to tell everyone. "We are having two boys, the doctor said he thinks they will be identical." Jaime said as she sighed, "I have a feeling they are going to drive me to gray hair very quickly."

"Let's hope that they don't get their dad's little daredevil attitude." Tyler said as she grinned.

"Well the way I see it, our boys will be the best of friends, maybe even the three musketeers." Hunter said with a grin. "I can see them trying to trick Edge and I into teaching them wrestling moves." Hunter chuckled at the thought and that got Edge to laugh as well but Tyler and Jaime both cringed at the thought of the three little boys trying to do dangerous wrestling moves like their daddies.

Shane was angry as he heard the news, two boys. Jaime was excited about having two boys that would look like their daddy, that's what Shane had found out from his inside contact who was going to visit Jaime in the hospital again. He had infiltrated her little close circle of friends, yet again, only this time there was no way she would be able to figure out who was on his side, because the friend didn't even know they were on his side. Shane had found someone to be the go between, someone who everyone thought hated Shane and was on Jaime and Hunter's side, and that was why they fit in so well with the group of friend's that Jaime first started off in, but now things were different.

Shane looked into the nursery that he had set up. He had talked to some people and learned that Jaime would never be happy to leave behind those two little brats that she would give birth to and so he had come up with a plan, since they were going to be identical then she should keep one and Hunter could keep one and that way they would both be happy. Shane looked at the nursery he had put together for the little brat he was going to get stuck raising so that he could have Jaime, but he knew that eventually he would have all of his own kids and Jaime would be all his, and that made getting stuck with that little brat a bit better. His new plan was set, and he had all of his secret helpers in place, and soon he would have what he wanted and he would be able to have the family he knew his parents expected him to have.

Jaime looked up in surprise as Stephanie walked into the room. Considering everyone that had been going on with her brother being such a creep, Jaime certainly didn't expect to see her anytime soon. Jamie bit her lip nervously as she felt her husband tense up and Jaime could tell that Tyler wanted to protect her as well, but she had her son to protect and Jaime hated it when everyone assumed she couldn't handle things herself.

"Are you lost?" Hunter asked her, his eyes were narrowed with suspicion.

"No, I was just, I don't understand why Shane is acting the way he is, the only thing I could think about is that father is giving us all a deadline about when to get married and have kids by, otherwise we could lose our inheritance and trust funds." Stephanie informed them.

"So he has decided to make my life miserable over that? I am sure there are plenty of women who would gladly help him with that little problem, why try and kill my kids and ruin my marriage?" Jaime asked.

"Mainly because no one has ever really turned him down before." Stephanie said with a grin.

A few hours later Jaime and Hunter were lying down together in the hospital, he was rubbing her belly and she was a bit freaked out about everything that Stephanie had said. She realized that Shane was never going to give up, and it scared her but what scared her more was that he could hurt Hunter just to spite her. Jaime couldn't imagine raising their twins without their father around, and she couldn't imagine him not being there, not being the one to teach their kids to play sports or help them with their homework or girl problems later on. Jaime didn't understand why Shane couldn't back off, it didn't make any sense to her. As Hunter continued rubbing her belly she felt the contraction and knew right away that her labor had restarted.

"Hunter…" She moaned as she gasped and she could tell he felt the contraction from the way her abdominal muscles had contracted.

Hunter jumped out of the bed and hit the call button, telling them that her labor had started up again, and Jaime knew he was just as scared as she was. They both just looked at each other and knew that there was a chance that they couldn't stop the labor this time, and that they were about to become parents. Jaime knew her heart was racing in fear as the contractions hit her stronger, but there was nothing she could do about it, she had to only pray the doctor could stop the early labor again, and if he couldn't, then she had to pray that the twins were all right and that they would be able to survive this early birth.

"Everything will be all right baby." Hunter murmured as he kissed her forehead and tried to calm her down. "We can handle this and no matter what happens, we got this."

Jamie tried to smile but it wasn't happening, the pain and the fear made it impossible. She didn't want Shane to win, she didn't want Shane to have succeeded in hurting her babies, they were so tiny and helpless, they needed her to protect them and she had failed and allowed Shane to hurt them inside her, she had to figure out how she could keep them in and protect them now, because when they were born she was terrified they were going to be in even more danger from that psychopath.

Shane had gotten word from his source that Jaime had gone into labor again and this time the doctor had said he couldn't stop it. He grinned happily as he realized the twins were going to be born early. He knew that there was a big chance that they wouldn't be healthy and that was what he was hoping for. He had heard that a lot of parents split up after they lost a child, maybe if they lost two and Hunter started blaming Jaime or she blamed herself, she would lose her own confidence and self esteem and she would be easy to manipulate, she would be all his, in fact he knew he could manipulate her even if they didn't die, all he needed was to make her feel like everything that was wrong with them was all her fault, of yeah, he had a big plan and he knew everything was going to go perfectly.

Jaime was so tired and she felt a bit weak but she wasn't going anywhere as she sat in the wheelchair inside the NICU where the twins were currently hooked up to their own machines. She watched as Hunter whispered softly to one of their sons while she talked to the other. They didn't have names yet, they needed names but she was afraid to choose names for them, what if they died and she got to attached and it just tore her apart, she felt horrible for feeling that way because she was their mother and she should already be attached, but she was afraid to even attempt to touch her sons, unlike Hunter who lightly stroked their son's arm. He was so gentle and it was clear he loved his sons so much, he was a great dad and she felt like a horrible mother. She looked at the nurse who was supposed to keep an eye on her, and she whispered that she needed to go back to the room.

The nurse nodded and started wheeling her back to the room. Hunter was so caught up in the boys she knew he didn't even notice that she was leaving already. She knew that she was going to need to work through whatever this was, because she was their mother and she needed to be the mother they needed, no matter how much guilt she felt for what they went through. She was terrified to tell anyone about what she was feeling and she knew she couldn't tell her husband what was going on inside her head and heart, he would think she was a heartless cold person, a woman he didn't want to be married to any longer or the mother of his children, he might walk away and leave her, especially since they had already been through so much and it was because of her and this stupid obsession that Shane had about her that caused their boys to be in the NICU.

Jaime wasn't certain how long she had been in the room alone and crying but she looked up when she heard the door open and expected to see her angry husband there, but he didn't look angry, he looked worried. He walked over to the bed and sat down, rubbing her back and he kissed her temple.

"They are going to be fine, but they need their mommy to make them feel better." He whispered softly.

Jaime wished she believed that, she wished it were that easy. "How can they need me, when it's my fault that they are in there?" She whispered brokenly.

Shane grinned from his position outside the hospital room door. His disguise was working perfectly but even better, Jaime was breaking down and soon she would decide to leave everyone and come to him, she would know that she deserved to be with him and she won't want those babies or that creep of a husband of hers, soon he would have all he wanted and he would win and show everyone that no one can resist, Shane McMahon.
