Chapter 17
Dean thought that his time in a mental institution had changed him, cured his craziness. But when Emilia left him and Seth betrayed him, he realized that he thought wrong. And he lost his sanity - again.
He didn't know how he was able to keep himself going without the two of them; two of the most important people in his life, but then he was reminded of who keeps him company in their absence when he felt someone moving beside him on the soft king-size bed.
Dean turned his head to look at Renee Young, the beautiful woman lying beside him. She was sleeping on her right side, facing him. Her long tangled blonde hair was framing her flushed face. The wool blanket on top of her was barely covering her bare body, revealing some skin. On her left shoulder were bruises and bite marks that he had given her from their violent fucking hours ago.
What a woman, Dean thought to himself. But she's not Emilia.
Every day and night without Emilia has been hell – it still is, even if Renee's with him. Dean turned on the lamp that was on the nightstand and took the white gold band beside his pack of cigarettes and his lighter – Emilia's purity ring which he took from her secretly. Every time he looked at it, he remembers the first time he had made love to her. He could still hear her moans of pleasure, feel her warm core gripping his length tightly and her nails digging into his skin. He shook his head as if it'll make the filthy thoughts go away and groaned as he stared at the shiny ring. He balled his right hand into a fist with the ring inside of it and closed his eyes, placing his fist against the left side of his chest, where his heart was – if he had one.
"Come back to me, Emilia."
Dean whispered to no one. He didn't believe in God, but he knew that Emilia does. If God was real and if He was listening, Dean was wishing that He heard him, because he was sick of longing for and needing Emilia.
Monday Night Raw was going to start in thirty minutes. The Superstars and the Divas were ready and they were all just hanging out while the crew were running around making sure that everything is perfect. Dean was standing near the production area, smoking a cigarette. If Emilia didn't leave, she would be there telling everyone what to do while his eyes followed her every move. But she's gone.
Dean took a long drag from his cigarette. He blew the smoke out in circles before tossing the cigarette on the concrete floor and putting it out by stomping on it with his right foot. He was walking away to warm up when he heard Josh, Emilia's gay best friend who works in production, squealing so loud. Dean shoved his left pinky finger in his left ear to get rid of the ringing sound. He hurriedly turned around, standing still on where he was.
"Emilia! You're back!"
Dean's eyes searched for Emilia. In a span of seconds, his eyes found her. She looked the way she used to – brown hair in a neat ponytail, black polo shirt with a WWE logo on it, and skinny jeans. His heart swelled at the sight of her. His chest was starting to constrict and he felt like his heart was going to burst.
It all happened too fast. Before Dean even realized what was going on, he found himself shoving everyone out of the way to get to Emilia. When he got to her, he placed both of his hands on the sides of her biceps and looked into her bright blue eyes. Emilia felt goosebumps all over her body as she looked at Dean's eyes. Suddenly, she remembered her son Levi - their son.
"Are you really back?"
Dean took his hands off Emilia and looked at her from head to toe. He was about to speak when he felt himself being pulled back. He looked around him and saw that he was being dragged away by security on orders of The Authority. He screamed Emilia's name over and over again until he was gone.
Emilia took a deep breath. She didn't realize that she was holding her breath and inhaling felt so good. She looked around her. She just got back and already a lot has happened. Josh stood next to her and rubbed her back.
"You all right, pretty baby?"
She looked at the tall pale guy with green eyes and dirty blonde hair standing next to her. She nodded.
"Yeah."
Josh was about to speak when Triple H and his wife Stephanie McMahon appeared in front of Emilia. Triple H looked around and saw that most of the employees were whispering to each other and looking in their direction.
"Get back to work, everyone! We don't pay you to gossip!"
His thundering voice echoed in the room and everyone did what they were told - including Josh. Emilia started to move when Stephanie grabbed her left hand.
"Not you, Miss Morris. We need to talk to you."
Emilia nodded. Stephanie let go of her hand and looked at her husband.
"Welcome back, Miss Morris. I think you're already doing your job."
Triple H's smirk was sinister. Stephanie's grin was dangerous. They truly were perfect for each other.
"Keep up the good work, Miss Morris, and we'll reward you generously."
"Y-yes, Ma'am, Sir."
Emilia said, looking at Stephanie when she said Ma'am and then at Triple H when she said Sir. The Authority walked away holding hands. Emilia wiped the sweat off her forehead with the back of her right hand and walked to where Josh was. She sat next to him and put on her headphones. She went on like nothing happened.
Emilia's job this time wasn't just simply to make sure that the production goes smoothly for every show. She's now being paid to distract Dean. She didn't wanted to be a pawn in the game of The Authority. She wasn't doing this to get back at Dean - she's doing this for their son, to make sure he gets the best.
