Chapter 56: Cat and Mouse
A strange feeling passed through Goku as he awoke that morning. He rolled out of bed and took his last dose of the medicine Trunk and Lime had brought him from the future. Today was the day, the day in which he could finally make the Earth safe enough for Gohan to come back home.
He quickly ate the meal Chi Chi had prepared for the small group that had been training for the last 3 years, in addition to Hercule who had spent the last year with the group. Today though that group added Cooler who out of the duo that had spent a year and a half on a deserted planet still needed to eat.
There was an uncomfortable silence at the table, partially from the stress of the android attack that was supposed to come that day, and partially from the fact they were eating breakfast with one of the most powerful villains to ever try and attack the Earth.
The uncomfortable hour passed mostly in silence; the main sounds included Goku eating as much as his mouth, and stomach, could hold, and the occasional crying fit from the almost toddler aged Gota, which at one point almost resulted in a homicidal outburst by the onetime temporary ruler of the galaxy.
Finally though they competed eating and finished their preparations to leave. The group, some reluctantly, grabbed onto Goku or one of the others already touching Goku and phased out and appeared in Capsule corp. Standing in her laboratory was Bulma holding a tiny child in her arms, without a doubt their timeline's version of Trunks.
"Ready to go Bulma? Wait where's Vegeta and Nappa?" Goku asked surprised to not see the other two Saiyan warriors standing by.
"They aren't coming till later...his highness decided he wanted to wait and see if these Androids were even worthy of his entrance before showing up to a fight with the FATE OF THE WORLD AT STAKE!" Bulma's voice gradually rising until she was sure the Saiyan Prince could hear her.
When there was no response to her provocation, she let out a huff and turned back to Goku. "Can you drop Trunks off at the Ox King's for me? I've got to get going to King Furry's command center to try and keep an eye on things." She said more than asked as she shoved her son into Goku's surprised hands.
With babysitting arrangements taken care of they quickly said they goodbyes and continued on their separate ways.
Crossing hundreds of miles in an instant the group arrived at the palace of the Ox King.
The giant couldn't hide his shock as his Daughter, Son-in-law and the others in their group appeared in the middle of his throne room, completely out of thin air.
He let out a short yelp, even though Chi Chi had called ahead of time to tell him that they would be there soon.
"Oh! Chi Chi, Goku when did you get here?" Ox King asked, he knew he couldn't follow exactly how they got there.
After a brief discussion both sides were ready to get down to business. In a flash Chi Chi pulled out two of Capsule Corps' extra large storage capsules and got to work. "Here's Gota's diapers, and her formula, she's part Saiyan so she has quite an appetite.-" Chi Chi continued to go on for several more minutes explaining each and every one of the items she had brought with her.
While all of this was going on Goku turned back to Videl who had a serious expression on her face.
Inside Videl was terrified about the upcoming fight. It didn't matter how strong she had gotten over the last three years of training, all of the strength she had attained so far was a fire-fly compared to the sun when the alien defenders of Earth were involved. What made her more nervous was the fact her future self, who was supposedly one of the future's best fighters fell fighting them too.
She felt somewhat safer knowing her best friend Trunks was standing right next to her and a short distance away her dad was standing there as well, having had joined their training as soon as he was wished back. Still the uneasiness fought against her self-confidence.
Her mind was so focused on the upcoming fight that she didn't even notice that Goku had been talking to her.
"-So thanks again Videl." Goku finished whatever he was saying.
"Wait what?" Videl asked trying to figure out what she missed.
"Oh focused on everything going on today? That's fine. I was just saying I'm glad you're here so you can watch Gota and Trunks while we're gone fighting the androids." Goku said a bright small on his face.
"What do you mean I'm staying behind?" Videl asked, her fear of fighting the Androids suddenly being replaced by the fear of not being around to help keep her dad and friends safe.
Goku looked slightly surprised that Videl was raising an objection, initially believing Hercule had already talked to her. He immediately turned to Hercule who was trying to look away from the conversation unfolding.
Videl immediately followed Goku's stare before locking eyes were her now increasingly nervous father now that he was busted.
"Now sweetie I-" Hercule started his defense, only to get shouted down.
"Dad! If the Androids win it won't matter where I am!" Videl shouted, "I might as well try to make a difference."
Hercule tried to come up with something to say, but Goku of all people beat him too it. "It's ok Videl. We'll be fine fighting the Androids. I mean we've even got Cooler helping us out. Best thing for you and your dad to do right now is watch Gota and Trunks and make sure they don't get into trouble." Goku reasoned.
At this point Videl's main argument was defeated. "You promise you'll beat them?" She asked, seemingly younger than she was at the moment.
"You beat!" Goku replied cheerily.
"Fine I'll stay." She finally conceded much to Hercule's relief.
With both Gota and Trunks now safely at the Ox King's mansion under Videl and Hercule's watchful eyes the group could turn their attention back to the task at hand, the upcoming battle for their lives.
They appeared on a bridge a short distance across the water from the southern island that was in the future the location of the beginning of the end of their world.
A tense silence fell over the group as their eyes stretched out towards their fated battlefield. In the distance several other large power levels were moving towards them. For the gathered Earthling warriors they were easily distinguishable as Tien, Krillin and the other human fighters in their group.
Even further away Goku could feel the energies of the hundreds of other volunteers trained by Master Roshi and the other first wave of fighters, some of their power levels were closing in on Vegeta's level when he first arrived on Earth, but the only ones to really stand out were the more veteran fighters many of which were risking their second chances at life to help with this fight.
Although these fighters likely couldn't turn the tide against the Androids, Goku wasn't one to doubt the power of numbers at this point. It was only through everyone's combined power that they were able to stop King Cold after all. More importantly in the short term though the many human fighters would be spreading out over the globe to watch for any signs that the Android's attack was coming somewhere different than it had in the past. Between them and Bulma's countless hover cameras roaming the streets the Androids wouldn't be able to hide for long.
"How much longer do we have to wait?" Cooler asked irritated in the background. "I've waited over two years to do this job, get my reward and return to my empire." He practically snarled wondering why he couldn't just vaporize the town and be done with it. The idea that there were mechanical creations capable of harming him still seemed ludicrous. Then again so was that the idea that Saiyans were a threat to him. Or the blasted Namekian who had served as his keeper during his extended stay.
"I think they should be arriving soon. If I remember right they attacked mid-morning or early afternoon, at least that's when my grandpa started watching the news reports about it." Lime cautiously replied. She didn't want their reluctant Frost Demon ally in any fouler of a mood than he already was.
"Enough talking, they could get here any minute. Everyone be alert." Piccolo growled trying to get in the right frame of mind for the battle.
Trunks stood silently off to one side of the group, his fists tightened so hard his hands were on the verge of bleeding from both anger and fear.
Lime noticed this and gently put her hands on his shoulders. "Don't worry Trunks, we're going to make everything right today." She quietly whispered as the tense waiting continued.
A whole hour passed. During that time Krillin, Tien, and the other fighters of note had gathered, with the exception of a few others leading units on patrol like Master Roshi in other cities.
Goku's focus has just started to fade when a small alarm rang out. Chi Chi immediately pulled out the radio that had a direct link up to Bulma and King Furry in the government command center.
The blue haired genius had a frantic look on her face. "Guys you're at the wrong city. Chappa and his team are being destroyed in North city right now!" She practically screamed as they heard the battle through one of the monitors in the background.
Everyone moved into action immediately rushing to grab onto Goku or someone else who was touching Goku, in a flash they were across the planet, focusing in on King Chappa's dwindling energy.
They arrived to find much of the city in ruins, even though the attack had supposedly just begun.
The group fanned out, several of the warriors who were with Chappa lay dead scattered around a small plaza near the center of the city. In the center of the square was Chappa, his body ravaged with potentially lethal wounds, barely hanging onto life. The Androids nowhere to be seen.
"I'll be back in a second I just have to-" Goku started to explain as he hoisted Chappa up preparing to transmit away.
"Hold on Goku, this feels like a trap." Piccolo cautioned, his eyes and ears scanning the area around them. "If we move we should move as a group. Something doesn't feel right." The Namekian warrior cautioned. Suspecting the goal of this exercise was to whittle their numbers down.
"Enough of these games." Cooler hissed. "We should destroy the city and see what survives. Obviously if these Androids are as powerful as you say they should be the only thing left." The former ruler reasoned, Ki already flowing to his finger to complete the attack.
Piccolo was in front of his charge immediately, a look of mild irritation on his face. "Settle down, if we do that it weakens our position, we'll have to use a wish to repair the damage later and we don't know what our casualties will be like." He explained. Although he and Cooler had come to a sort of understanding during their year and a half long isolation through the fact they could in some sense relate to one another, friction remained.
Cooler crossed his arms in contempt, but held his tongue.
With the internal struggle momentarily avoided Goku was able to transport the entire group to Kami's lookout where Dende waited to heal the dying warrior.
"Hey Doc, it looks like they aren't going to fall for it." Android 13's said his thickly accented voice rasping through the communicator on Dr. Gero's ear.
"It's fine, they've already given me additional information that more than counteracts them not falling for the plan. Go ahead and head to the next targets, we'll make sure it ends today one way or another." Dr. Gero replied with a smirk, the blinking light on his screen revealing the location of the one place on the planet his spy drones had yet to make it to.
Chappa's wounds were severe, though the magic of the Earth's guardian was able to make quick work of the otherwise lethal wounds.
When the former martial arts champion opened his eyes, first a look of horror crossed his face, followed by relief, "Good you didn't split up our forces. They appeared to be waiting in ambush for you while I was losing consciousness but it appears my worries were for nothing." Chappa managed. "We need to pull back all other observational forces, otherwise they are going to just pick up apart." He finished, his fist tightening as he remembered his now slaughtered team.
"Mister Chappa, do you know what the Androids that attacked you looked like? It could give us an idea on their movements." Trunk suggested, keeping himself unnaturally calm despite being so close to starting his revenge.
"I...I think there were three of them...Two tall ones, one with a hat, the other without and a small one with an abnormally large hat." King Chappa was about to explain more, but Trunks held up a hand.
"That's fine I know which ones attacked, that's Android 13 and his crew, without a doubt." Trunks explained. "They were the most vicious of the Android groups, at least until that...that monster showed up." Trunks who had somehow managed to keep his cool until that point nearly ignited his Super Saiyan aura just thinking of the monster that killed everyone dear to him.
"So the question is are the rest of the Androids in North City, or are those three operating on their own and the area around South City is still about to be attacked." Tien said trying to distract the obviously upset child.
"I-" Goku started to say again before the communicators chimed in again.
"Goku! It's Dr. Gero he finally is showing his face. He captured one of my observation cameras on the island and is demanding you surrender to him immediately or he'll order the city destroyed." Bulma's frantic voice shot out of the device.
"Why does he keep changing his actions? He didn't do any of this in my timeline." Trunks muttered.
"That doesn't matter right now, we need to get moving. We can't allow them to destroy the city." Goku said as he got caught up in the moment.
At this moment everyone was too ready for a fight to even attempt to argue. It was time to confront the androids and get this situation resolved once and for all.
In a flash the bloated group of fighters arrived at the city center, all around them buildings were smoldering, a massive crater in the center of the deserted city besides a small group of apparent misfits, one holding a squirming terrified person in their grasp.
"Hello there Son Goku, after all of this time we finally get to meet face to face." Dr. Gero began his eyes carefully scanning the group of fighters that had come with his nemesis for any action, his eyes rising just slightly in shock when he saw the strange purple creature standing towards the back of the group, continuing on he locked eyes with Goku himself. "I'm pleased so many of your friends decided to come watch your demise." He said while he calmed himself down internally reasoning the surprises he had in store for them far outweighed whatever this new fighter could provide.
"I guess that answers my question about which one of you is Dr. Gero. If you want to fight I'm here, but let those people go free and let's move to a better spot, there's no point getting them involved." Goku said his voice edging on anger at the scene he saw around him.
In front on the Z fighter's main contingent were 4 fighters of his own. Two apparent twins one girl blond hair and one boy with raven black hair, each giving off an air of complete confidence. Besides them was a ghoulish clown with a sinister smile, holding a squirming man, whose resistance seemed to be fading fast. Even further off to the right was a giant, his eyes locked squarely on one particular member of their group but otherwise was completely emotionless.
Dr. Gero just smirked, before replying "I think right here will do just fine. 19 would you?" The clown like android tossed the now limp human he was holding off to the side and stepped forward his sinister smile never wavering.
In a flash he had a hand raised, before bringing it back down, a massive blast hitting the Earth and detonating on the surface before Goku or any of the other fighters could object.
The explosion blasted out in all directions, as the human fighters rushed to cover their faces as dust and debris rushed passed them.
When the debris finally settled, all but Cooler were shocked at what they saw, the entire city had been leveled.
"I hope that wasn't the best you are capable of. If so this has been without a doubt a waste of my last year and a half." Cooler sneered stepping forward his mouth guard sliding into place.
Dr. Gero took a step back involuntarily unsure of the new combatant's abilities. 'Damn it I don't have any data on this fighter...where was he all this time? Did Piccolo disappear to go bring this fighter to Earth? There are too many unknowns. I can't change my plans yet though, I need more data…' His mind was absolutely spinning, his heart pounding in his chest. For the first time in months he began to wish he had actually turned himself into an android instead of just installing this shield to keep himself safe from potential stray attacks on the battlefield.
"Keep to your original plans, except 18 you take the new guy and 19 take the brat." Dr. Gero yelled as he backed up further, eventually falling behind his line of Androids.
Two of the Androids stepped forward silently the large one still emotionless his eyes locked on Piccolo still. While Android 19 gave Trunks a look that was beginning to make the preteen uncomfortable.
Android 18 stepped forward in unison with her brother. Each giving the other one last knowing look. "Whatever you say Dr. Gero." She replied somewhat mockingly.
"You know we live to serve." Echoed Android 17, who was struggling not to smirk at the irony of his own statement.
The four main fighters lined up making a front line. Piccolo turned back to the second wave, the human fighters "Keep an eye out for Android 13's group, the last thing we need is to be ambushed." He ordered before turning his attention to the giant standing before him.
"Finally let's get started." Cooler said a look of anticipation on his face as his first victim began to walk his way. He couldn't sense any energy flowing from the Android but that was to be expected based on the intel he was provided. He immediately ignited his purple aura as Android 18 came to stop in front of him.
"So I have to fight the giant lizard...great…" She muttered to herself irritated that her brother was going to get the chance to fight Goku, the man who was the reason their lives ended up the way they had.
"Insolent girl! I am Lord Cooler, rightful ruler of the entire universe." He snarled his aura suddenly blazing brighter.
"Whatever…" 18 sighed, she was already tiring of her opponent's bravado and the fight hadn't even begun yet.
Without warning Cooler's hand flashed out a singular death beam aimed right at her heart.
Android 18's eyes widened in surprise as the attack came at her faster than she was anticipating. It was faster even than she expected a Super Saiyan's attack to come. At the last possible second she got her hand raised to deflect the attack, a stinging hot sensation shot through her hand though, despite being able to deflect the attack.
Before 18 even had a chance to check her hand for any damage a cold voice rang out behind her. "Shouldn't have underestimated me!" A powerful kick crashed into the back of her head launching her forward.
Before she even had a chance to really go anywhere though Cooler's tail wrapped around her neck and pulled back with tremendous force. Had she still been fully organic she was sure the sudden jerking motion her head experienced would've been more than enough force to actually break her neck. Instead she was trapped, a tail wrapped around her throat trying to deprive her of oxygen, something she had no need for anymore. This oversight by her adversary was just the thing she needed to collect herself and get ready to go on the offensive.
"So I finally get a chance to fight you, I can't say I'm not excited. Killing you has been my entire purpose in life after all." Android 17 said with a sneer, "Hopefully you won't disappoint me." He added before cracking his neck both directions.
Goku's look was completely serious "You're treating this like a game? After how many people just died?" Goku asked completely in shock, he was beginning to doubt if there was any good in the androids at all.
17 just shrugged his shoulders, "It's not like I killed them, besides they would've gotten in the way when we started fighting." his nonchalant attitude disturbing the Earth-born Saiyan even more.
Goku's fist tightened in frustration, "Really is this fight and your own entertainment all you can think of? Fine I'll give you a fight, and I'll make sure your idea of fun won't be able to hurt anyone else ever again." Goku immediately ignited his Super Saiyan aura.
"If you think you can, go ahead and try." 17 added, as both fighters fell into their stances.
Goku was the first to break the stalemate launching forward, only for 17 to parry his initial attack with ease, as if he was expecting him to lead with that attack.
Just as 17 was about to add another taunt Goku's foot launched upwards catching the Android under the chin and knocking him off balance.
Goku used his momentum from the kick to continue his path backwards before landing back on his feet, a defensive stance raised again.
17 stared back at Goku slightly surprised as he rubbed his red, throbbing, chin. "Well maybe you have some surprises for me after all." He muttered under his breath before launching forward to try his hand on the offensive.
Android 19 continued to stare at Trunks with an inhuman like focus, a disturbingly sinister smile on his face, like a predator watching his prey, continuing to unnerve the half-Saiyan child.
Finally Trunks had had enough, his Super Saiyan aura enveloped his small body, "I'm going to wipe that damn smile off your face!" He shouted and blasted forward.
Android 19's processors couldn't follow the child's initial attack as he crossed the distance between them in a fraction of an instant and smashed his golden fist into 19's metallic cheek.
Trunks followed up his initial attack with an upwards kick into 19's chin sending the rotund machine flying into the air.
Instead of pursuing him though Trunks cupped his hands above his head and shouted, "Masenko-HA!" unleashing a large yellow beam, taught to him by Piccolo during their time training together.
As the blast approached him, hidden by the glow of the attack 19 couldn't help but smile, as he greedily stuck a hand out waiting for the blast to reach him.
The attack collided with his hands, it appeared for a minute that the Android was struggling to keep the attack back, before finally the attack detonated in front of him.
Trunks watched the spot where the Android was floating for any sign that he was still alive, but the cloud was slow in dissipating, he couldn't help but think that he had delivered a decisive early blow though. With how easily the battle was going for him, he might even be able to help Goku or one of the other fighters dispatch the other Androids.
His hopes of a quick victory were crushed though when Android 19 appeared from the smoke, apparently unharmed besides a few scuff marks from Trunks' first two attacks. The mechanical clown couldn't help but chuckle as he continued to stare menacingly at Trunks.
A feeling of doubt began to spread through Trunks as the Android slowly floated back to the ground eager to continue their struggle.
Piccolo continued to stare at the emotionless giant who had apparently been assigned to dispatch him. Finally Piccolo cracked his neck each direction as the combat began around him.
"Any whittling one-liners you want to get out of the way, or should we get started?" Piccolo asked already used to this type of fighter. Without a doubt he was the dumb brute of the Android group.
"Target 1, Piccolo, acquired. Preparing to eliminate." 16's mechanical, emotionless voice rang out as a strange tingle of energy began to rush through the air. It wasn't the same as Ki, Piccolo couldn't feel it like he could life energy; he could simply feel a sudden burst of energy rushing through the atmosphere.
"Fine if that's the way you want it let's begin." The Namekian warrior snarled not wanting to give the Android any more time to charge up and launched forward with his base strength to try and feel out how strong his adversary was.
The green warrior had barely crossed half of the distance between them before he spotted something out of the corner of his eye.
He had no chance to change direction or even raise a defense before a massive green and black arm slammed down into the side of his head crashing Earth's strongest warrior into the ground like man swatting a bug.
Piccolo didn't stay down long as he bounced off the ground and flipped back into the air, one hand absentmindedly rising to his cheek, rubbing the bruise that was already forming.
"I guess you're not all talk after all." He muttered to himself before using Kaioken and preparing for another round.
"Hey Vegeta, you feel that? I think the fighting's started." Nappa said, his heart starting to pound in anticipation.
Vegeta just smirked, "Well then, let's get a move on. We wouldn't want the toys that Earthling has so patiently preparing for us to rust before we even get a chance to break them in." he finished with a sneer as he remembered how much of a pain the first two Earthling Androids had been when they ambushed him during his initial arrival on Earth. Now he would be the hunter, and the pest of a scientist who thought he could challenge the Prince of all Saiyans would finally meet his own maker.
No sooner had the two warriors stepped out of Capsule Corp's main building did they notice a strange glow off to their left.
"What!-"
A massive wall of energy crashed into the Capsule Corp yard vaporizing not just where they were standing but the entire complex in an eerie red glow.
Hey everyone the Android Saga is officially beginning! Before I go any further I wanted to apologize for how few updates I've had lately, I'm in the process of finishing up my time as an undergrad and trying to balance trying to get into grad school and finding a job in case I don't get in, so between that all the other graduation prep, and the usual homework I've just been swamped. Every-time I think i'm going to finally get some time to work on it a dozen new issues come up. So thank you to everyone who has stuck with the story so far, hopefully you are still enjoying it.

Yeah he can't win with Turles right now. You've got to admit though he can be a bit of a handful when he gets mad ;) Thanks for the review by the way.
The Lord of the Pies - Hmm, so has Turles reached the point where zenkais become essentially useless? Because if not, oh boy, that's gonna be quite the boost. So Turles is on the run, and instead of trying to make everyone as powerful as possible, he says screw you Gohan and won't let him have any of the fruit? That seems counterproductive. I get right now he needs all the fruit he can get, but I mean this has to have shown him that he needs someone else that could help him fight in the future. So did something happen with Yamcha off screen, panel, page, whatever, to make him train so hard, or am I forgetting something, because he is way more motivated than our Yamcha. I can't wait to see how the android saga goes, especially seeing how strong Cooler and Piccolo are!
Nope the zenkai boost being relevant will still be active for his group for a while longer. The low millions are sort of the sweet spot for the zenkai actually so they got a solid boost.
At this point Turles sees it as a 2 person race between Taiga and himself. The only way to stay ahead is to get all the fruit, because Taiga surely will be getting all the fruit from each tree. In addition he was convinced he was the strongest in the universe already, instead of letting that belief get shaken he decided to blame someone else. In this case Gohan's outburst fits nicely.
When Trunks first arrived Yamcha kind of got a kick to the gut by immediately losing Bulma because they found out Vegeta was the father. Instead of moping around, this coupled with his other experiences allowed him to channel his fury into something productive, getting stronger.

super mystic gohan - i really enjoyed this chapter a lot. turles anger yamcha anger aswell like what you did with him hopefully he will progress more. I also so impress how many character your dealing with and how so many off them get to bring stuff to the table instead off just hanging back. I do hope the multi fights will be good im sure you'll do a cracking job until next time
Glad you enjoyed last chapter and sorry for the wait for this one. I am trying to give Yamcha more characterization that the joke he was in the original. Hopefully i do alright. It is kinda tough juggling all the characters but hopefully i keep doing alright :)
AineCPB - Wow! What a great chapter!
I've read the last two (I was just kinda busy with work). It was great seeing more of Raditz and Gohan. The whole mess in the PTO really gave them a lot to do in their work for Turles and I feel like, deep down, Turles is starting to fear Gohan might surpass him. Sure, his a power-sick jerk too. Punishing Gohan for needing healing? But I'm possitive they'll manage. And to top the whole mess, Broly is behind them thinking Turles is Goku. As if they didn't have enough problems with Taiga.
It was also nice seeing more of the Z fighters. I feel for Krillin, Chiatzu and Yamcha struggling with their power levels and how much they want to be able to do something. Normally, Krillin is above the human fighters and I guess that's why it hit him the most. There's also Yamcha andI'd like to see more about what's on his mind. Maybe they both need a heart-to-heart with Goku? He's the one who always cheers everyone up but with him dealing with Gohan being gone, how would it affect his fight against the androids? How's Chichi coping?

Thanks for the review! You hit the nail on the head. Turles does fear Gohan. Not his normal strength but when his rage explodes he becomes a threat he might not be able to control. Plus even the way they are now Gohan can serve as a distraction to Turles when he is fighting another equal i.e. Taiga which could lead to some bad results for Gohan's allies.
I'm glad you enjoyed the check in on the human fighters, it had felt like awhile since I could focus on them. At this point the anger has been a net positive for Yamcha, it is what's keeping him from falling behind like he usually does, Krillin and Chiaotzu are feeling the strain a bit more but you'll just have to see how that affects them. Goku has alot on his plate at the moment too, just like you said. So it might be a bit before they can have that heart to heart if it happens.
JOEL - This story keeps getting better! Do you have any plans to make Turles a ally to Goku? .I personally feel that Turles has the potential to become a z fighter later on in the story( like vegeta)

I have plans for almost all characters in dbz, Ratchi is one of the few I'm having trouble with. Not only how his appearance will affect what I have planned, if it will actually add anything to the story, but when exactly it would be added in in the current timeline.
In hell the Saiyans are currently top of the food chain, there are several other fighters on par with their best but the sheer numbers of Super Saiyans down there can eventually wear down even the strongest of foes, because of this most of the major players tend to keep their heads down. It's a vast, vast realm though and there are a couple of horrors that even the Cepa's forces don't mess with unless they have to.
Currently the PTO only controls the majority of 1 galaxy. Most other large organized forces have been wiped out either by the PTO soldiers or by the elites. There are plenty of other galaxies out there in the universe with potentially their own PTO like empires or even larger in some cases.
I've sort of fallen off the DBS train, some parts have been ok and other parts just haven't felt up to the old DBZ standard. The art in the beginning was kind of insulting really and sort of set the show off on a bad foot for me. Right now I don't really have plans to include DBS in the story.
I think the main difference in their personalities is since becoming andriods they never had to fear anyone or anything. From what I know of their backstory they had a rough time back when they were humans so they already didn't like the world much. With no more powerful forces around to keep them in line they had a power rush and decided they had the power to do whatever they wanted, even get revenge on the world the mistreated them and allowed them to turn out the way they did.

Q1]The Red Ribbon Androids are Androids and Cyborgs developed by Dr Gero to avenge the army's destruction at the hands of Goku. It is stated in Dbz cannon that android 1-7 and 9-12 were completely artificial but Gero could not control their personalities so he destroyed them. Perhaps in your story you could have Gero recreate these androids?
Q2]Androids cannot be tracked using Scouters or by Sensing their Ki. Bulma is a lot smarter in your story so perhaps she could invent a machine that allows one to keep track of the androids?
Q3]Why didn't the supreme kai do anything when the universe was threated by beings like Cell, Bojack , Broly and to a lesser extent frieza?

As for your first question, in the story we've actually seen a couple of the earlier models of android already. Back when Vegeta first attacked the Earth the first group to interrupt him were 2 androids from Dr. Gero. As for the rest, it's possible more androids appear but no guarantees they will be the older models.
Yeah this Bulma got her potential unlocked so it is possible she could come up with a tracking system, in a way her future self already head. During the flashback (to the future) they did have a system to track the androids, though it acted more like a radar. They would give off some energy though so she definitely could make one if necessary. There would be a lot of interference from electronics, much like nature is to a ki sense.
How I've always pictured the Supreme Kai is somewhere between a coward and someone who was trying to be pragmatic. He deemed his own survival as more important than the worlds that could be destroyed. Being the only supreme kai left he was now responsible for the creation of life that 4 supreme kais and the grand supreme kai were previously responsible for. Because of this he seemed to limit his involvement to threats who were truly universe wide. He left galaxy wide threats like the frost demons, Bojack etc, to the grand kais and the local kais. When it comes to bigger threats to Bojack and Cell he would've faced a major battle against basically his equal making things risky. His magic would be the one thing that could give him an edge.
So the TL;dr on that is he was over worked and afraid of leaving the universe without a Surpreme kai to continue creating things in the universe.
The PTO controlled most of 1 galaxy. So not much in terms of the universe.

Jhotenko - 54 - Heh. Considering the events on Earth, The fight between Turles and Taiga feels like amateur hour. Very impressive for your division boys, but you have a long way to go before you hit the big leagues.
your comment about what kind of monster must have sent Cepa to hell in the first place got me thinking. I wager it was Buu, I'm pretty sure he's been around long enough. I suppose Beerus could have done it with ease too... Well, whether it was one of those two, or an OC, I'm placing my bet that whomever killed Cepa is the coming danger that Gohan needs to be trained to face.
Yes the rest of the universe are blissfully unaware of the monsters gathering in one small corner of one galaxy :). There's going to be a bit of shock coming the way of anyone who stumbles upon Earth.
Buu is a very ancient threat and one of the few in the story that appears to be strong enough to do the job at this point, the timescales are a little off though (at least based on how I understood things). It was my understanding was Buu had been trapped for potentially millions of years. Cepa is from when the original Saiyan home world was destroyed, so roughly a thousand years. You've got the level of threat about right though. The threat will be revealed in due time ;)
55 - I can't wait until Turles, and now Taiga, learn that cheating via tree of might fruit is ultimately pointless. They are such little fish in the grand scheme of things. At least they can play with each other for the time being. I'm guessing Broly will be the professor for that little lesson.
I honestly don't know what to expect with the android saga. I've always felt they got such a short stick as DBZ villains, almost immediately after they showed up, Cell appeared to completely overshadow them. Given your track record, and the foreshadowing you've provided, I'm hoping the android menace is a bit more relevant.

Yeah the gains they are making now would make them a threat to rule the universe in the long run, at least under the old order, but the game has changed and they are still playing under the old rules :). Professor Broly, I think the sound of that, he has a PHD in pain, and a minor in murderous rampage.
Hopefully I can keep everyone off guard with my plans for the Android saga, they did get sort of short changed in the original.
