Chapter 57: Man vs Machine (Part 1)
The red ball of energy slowly faded out, leaving a massive molten crater where the capsule corps headquarters once stood.
"Looks like the Prince is angry we broke his toys." Android 14 said with a sneer.
"And It looks like tiny's reaction time has improved since 9 and 10 did a number on him. Maybe this assignment will be fun after all." Android 13 added his eyes locked onto Nappa, his voice brimming with confidence.
The two Saiyans for their part were irate. Nappa's anger stemmed from almost falling victim of yet another Android ambush. While Vegeta's demeanor was mostly unchanged. Yes his de facto home for the last three years was destroyed and if it had been any other day his child and the boy's mother likely would've been caught in the attack, but they weren't. Instead floating before him was the perfect opportunity to test his strength.
"So three walking toasters decided to save us the trouble of hunting them down, wasn't that considerate of them Nappa?" He asked with a predatory glint to his eyes.
Nappa had managed to calm himself down in the few seconds that had passed and had mentally prepared himself for battle again. "Yeah at least they're making things easy on us." He added before transforming into his Super Saiyan state. An instant later Vegeta followed suit.
"I'll take the small one and the quiet one, since I'm getting tired on the smug looks on their face." Vegeta said brimming with confidence. He was sure he could even defeat the blasted Namekian who had previously surpassed him now.
"That works for me, I was hoping I could be the one to shut him up." Nappa added his eyes locked onto 13's.
With the combatants decided the 5 fighters wasted no time getting started, as the city around them began to shake from their blows.
Goku and 17 seemed as evenly matched as one could hope for given the situation. Goku had the edge in terms of power and speed, Android 17 knew what to expect before Goku even tried it. All in all it made for a fight with very few blows actually finding their intended targets.
Goku's kick met 17's shin, 17's punches were intercepted by Goku's forearm. Back and forth the defensive battle raged. Neither fighter capable of getting an advantage.
Goku suddenly flashed his fingers to his forehead. 17 instantly recognized it as Goku preparing his instant transmission.
As expected Goku vanished from view on instinct 17 lashed out behind him, only for his attack to cut through nothing but air.
His eyes shifted back around him, surrounding him was a completely circle of after images, made of the teleporting Goku.
Before 17 had a chance to analysis the pattern a blow came in from his right side, catching him on the cheek for the first clean hit of the fight.
17 staggered back slightly, an irritated look on his face. Before he had a chance to fully recover another blow crashed into his lower back, temporarily forcing the unnecessary air from 17's lungs. Still it was such a sudden blow it shocked him again.
Quickly 17 tried to recover his eyes scanning around him trying to get a feel for where Goku was going to come from this time.
In a split second he was able to recognize which of the afterimages around him shifted to being slightly more faded than they were before.
A sudden light caught his attention as an attack came from below. 17 lashed out deflecting the attack off towards the human viewing gallery who quickly scattered.
He made the mistake of enjoying their panic just a little too much though as Goku appeared above him and hit him with a full powered ax-handle.
17 hit the ground harder than he ever had in his life. Forming a massive crater to the rapidly dissolving landscape around them.
Goku stood back for a moment waiting for 17 to emerge from the debris. But as the seconds ticked by it was quickly becoming evident the android had other ideas.
Just as Goku started to move forward towards the crater the ground beneath him erupted, a large singular blast was on him before he had time to react.
With the briefest instant to spar he sent a wave of Ki into his feet and attempted to hold the attack back while he teleported out of danger's way.
He never got the chance as the debris in the crater burst forth a second blast heading right for him.
Goku was forced to catch this one with his hands, sandwiching the Super Saiyan warrior between two dangerous attacks.
Appearing out of thin air Android 17 floated a short distance away willing his two attacks onwards his outstretched hands seemingly trying to crush Goku at a distance.
Just as Goku's arms seemingly began to buckle though a massive wave of aura burst forth around him and with a massive yell he was able to force both attacks off to his side, both continuing off into space.
As the two face each other again Goku could only just smile, "You know you're putting up a lot better fight than I was expecting." He sincerely completed his opponent, "If the situation was different I might even say this has been fun."
"Yeah you're not so bad yourself. Dr. Gero was right pairing me up against you." Android 17 replied a smirk though on the inside he was wondering how much longer he could afford to wait before reveal his trump card.
Just as the two fighters were about to engage again Piccolo flew between them cutting their advances short. An instant later 16 cut his way through that same gap, giving Goku a look that chilled the Saiyan warrior to the bone.
Neither fighter could look away for a moment as they watched the two titans of the battlefield continue their struggle before each remembered they were in a fight of their own and continued.
It was clear that 18 had gotten the short end of the stick when Dr. Gero was assigning their targets. Not only did she have the disadvantage of knowing nothing about the unexpected fighter's style, him being in all likelihood more powerful than her for the moment, his tail was proving to be an extra hurdle she was having trouble working around.
Even escaping his initial hold on her had forced her to reveal the true extent of her strength. The fact her opponent was able to raise himself up to her level in an instant only heightened her fears.
Her inner thoughts were interrupted as Cooler's fist cut through her view. She was just barely able to dodge the suddenly materializing fist before Cooler's knee found home in the heart of her abdomen.
A spray of blood shot from her mouth as she realized the last attack had actually managed to damage some of the few remaining parts of her that were still human.
She staggered backwards before composing herself. 'I've got to use it soon...if I don't I'm dead…' she thought as she began the preparations to use her last resort.
Cooler didn't give her a chance to unleash whatever she was planning though. In half second pause between his last blow landing and now Cooler had phased out of his previous spot, appearing behind the 18 who just noticed the Cooler in front of her was quickly fading away.
She had no time to react before an ax handle send the previously standing Android into a massive crater that formed around her feet. When her head collided with the ground it cut straight through the Earth borrowing the top half of her body beneath the debris.
Not waiting for the Android to right herself, Cooler intended to finish his fight quickly so they would be able to slowly overwhelm the Androids so his contract could finally be fulfilled and he assume his proper place in the galaxy.
18's body hung limply as Cooler lifted her high into the air, a powerful blast charging in his free hand.
18 knew it was now or never, as a strange hum started. The air around her was suddenly alive with an unseen energy.
"No you-" Cooler started to say as he swung his arm forward intending to blast 18 to smithereens before she had the chance to act, but a well place blast from the Android collided with the attack still in his hand, causing a sudden, uncontrolled explosion to ring out.
The force was strong enough that it sent her flying back, her clothes partially scorched away.
In the other direction Cooler lay on the ground howling in pain as he curled around his mangled arm.
18 breathed a sigh of relief, finally an attack did some damage to her mystery opponent. She silently thanked Dr. Wheelo for his last minute contributions to her design. If she had tried to take on this monster without the new overdrive mode installed she would already be dead.
'One more quick burst should do it, then I can sit back and see how 17 is doing' She thought to herself as the air around her was suddenly humming with invisible energy again.
Suddenly she noticed Cooler had stopped his howling of agony and was back on his feet, staring at with a look of total and complete hatred. The killing intent that was filling the air was unlike anything else she had ever felt before.
In a flash Cooler crossed the distance between them, one arm hanging limply by his side. The ground from where he launched off of started to shatter just as he reached the Android, his full power being unleashed for the first time.
18 had zero time to reach as blow after blow hit her body before her mind could even register that Cooler's arms were moving. Every sledge hammer like attack was breaking her down, she could feel the internal damage quickly piling up.
Finally one last upper cut sent her flying. Her body spun away bouncing off the ground several times before coming to a stop. Slowly she tried to rise only to realize even that action was difficult, infinite energy power core or not, her arms were shaking just trying to lift her body off the ground.
Finally when she rose to her feet she shouted "Yo...You bastard you're dying now!" 18 shouted as the strange electric field crackled to life around her once more.
Cooler's eyes widened in shock as Android 18 crossed the distance between them faster than his eyes could follow at the moment, her fist colliding with the Frost Demon's face with enough force to actually break the bone faceguard he had created for himself for this form.
Blow after blow was exchanged at speeds that few of the other fighters could even hope to follow. The human warriors watching in the distance were hopeless at even catching a glimpse of the two green titans of the battlefield.
Piccolo and Android 16 seemed to be perfectly even, in terms of strength at least. The Namekian warrior though was quickly coming to the realization that his android counterpart knew everything there was to know about his fighting style.
Every punch met forearm, kicks met knees. His feints were smelled out instantly. To make matters worse each counter attack was able to cut right through Piccolo's defenses.
A particularly pointed attack cut right through his defenses and slammed into the Namekians solar plexus, a spray of purple blood from Piccolo's was the reward.
Piccolo's body shot backwards narrowly missing Goku as he crossed the battlefield.
'Damn it...this guy's tougher than I thought he'd be. I've got to think of a way around his defense.' Piccolo was forced to raise his arm in a hasty defense just fast enough to block 16's opening blow, he was unable to react to the follow up kick right to the same spot on his sternum.
Again Piccolo was sent flying desperately trying to catch his breath.
"It is pointless to resist further, I know all of your moves as well as you do." Android 16 cold voice rang out, not taunting, no humor in his voice, just as if he was simply stating facts.
'I'm going to have to use it.' Was Piccolo's first thought. 'Speed is the only way around his defenses.' He had trained endlessly during the last year and a half to expand his ability to sustain Kaioken, more than that though, he was able to expand how far he could push it.
"Fine I'll…" He started to mutter when he noticed a common factor in the other fights. Each and every one of the established Z fighters were struggling, even Trunks who had been training on Earth for the last three years. Everyone that is except for Cooler.
It only took a few seconds for the fusion of the demon king and guardian of the Earth to put it all together. They were spied on for the last three years, all their techniques, their weaknesses, every movement vital to their specific styles had to have been recorded somehow. Cooler's was only on Earth for the time of a single fight, there was no way Gero could learn everything about his style and incorporate it into the Androids training.
A smirk spread across Piccolo's face, 'Fine then, if you know how I fight, I'll just have to fight like someone else.'
In an instant Piccolo rushed forward, his mind retracing his months of struggling against Cooler, if he focused hard enough he was sure he would be able to replicate his fighting style.
"I've got you." Android 16 yelled as he swung his massive arm forward, but to his surprise his fist crossed through empty air.
Just as Piccolo approached Android 16 he dropped to the ground, getting creative to mimic Cooler's unique 5 limbed style, a simple sweep of one foot managed to knock the giant off his feet. Before 16 could even finish falling Piccolo's other foot had already been raised up, a massive surge of red energy enveloping it and caught 16 with a metal bending kick to the sternum.
A metallic creak rang out even over the shouts of the other fighters as they continued their own battles.
"Guh…" Android 16 let out a grunt of apparent pain as Piccolo pulled his previously Kaioken times 3 enhanced leg out of the giant's metallic frame.
Android 16 stumbled back a step before collapsing to the ground, apparently out of the fight.
Piccolo watched Android 16 trying to determine if he was down for the count, before turning with an "Hmph" trying to get a sense who he should assist first.
Before he could decide though he heard the rush of what sounded like a rocket engine. Piccolo barely turned around in time to see the rocket propelled fish slam into his side bending his entire body in a way he wasn't sure it had been bent before. It even went so far as to cause a large crack to echo out, its source down in his central back.
A large mixture of spittle and purple blood rained out from his mouth as several ribs cracked immediately under the pressure, puncturing his lung.
The Namekian warrior's eyes were wide in shock, body was wracked in pain, except his lower body, from which he could feel nothing. He'd never suffered such a devastating single attack before.
As his body hit the ground he saw Android 16 finish rising to his feet, a hole still clean through where his heart would've been had he been human. Instead was just wiring, and some oil like substance leaking.
"I was designed specifically to kill you Piccolo. I will not be beaten so easily." Android 16 announced as he approached the still shell shocked Namekian on the ground.
Trunks was having trouble keeping up with Android 19, although he had watched the limited videos of this particular Androids brief time as a threat in the future, the style he was currently using was completely different. It was as if he was designed to counter his own style specifically.
What's worse, energy attacks seemed to have no effect on him. After each attack though he seemed to reveal more of his true power. Already he was fighting at a level well beyond what he demonstrated in the videos.
Trunks tried to steady his breath, and wiped the sweat from his brow. 'I'm going to have to try and land a decisive blow, soon.' The youngest fighter on the battlefield flared his aura one more time, back to his maximum strength and rushed forward.
19 dodged the first two attacks before blocking the third with his forearm.
Before Trunks had a chance to react 19's knee crashed into his abdomen, causing a spray of spittle to fly from the child's mouth.
Trunks didn't bother to wait for the next blow he knew was coming and detonated a blast directly into the ground, launching himself high into the air and stirring up a cloud of dust.
Cupping his hands together he began to charge up an attack, "KA-ME!"
He paused for a moment to continue to gather his strength before continuing, this was going to be a make or break attack. "HA-ME!"
The attack between his hands now dyed the entire area around him in an eerie blue light, the glow caused Trunks; heart to race further but he just used his anger to continue to focus more power into his attack.
The dust finally cleared revealing 19 waiting patiently for his attack, the same mocking sneer still plastered on his clown like face.
'This'll wipe that smile clear off your face!' He shouted internally before finishing his attack "HAAAA!" The blast of blue energy race to 19 who sneer seemed to brighten as the attack was launched, both hands shot forward to meet the powerful attack head on.
"NO YOU DON'T" Trunks shouted as he pushed even more power out trying to overwhelm the overconfident Android.
The wave of energy crashed into 19's hands and began to push him back, at least at first, but within a few seconds Trunks realized he couldn't push him back any further.
'Damn it!' He thought as his attack began to taper out, it was only then that he noticed something was wrong, instead of a massive attack staying at 19's end for him to have to send back at him, instead the attack was quickly fading out.
As soon as the attack finished dissolving Trunks could only float there in horror as 19 flexed his arms a few times admiring the sudden influx of strength. "It's my turn to play." He replied with a bone chilling tone.
Trunks was frozen in fear unable to move as 19 slowly began to move his way. It wasn't until the sound of crunching metal echoed across the landscape that he was able to pull himself out of his stupor and at least attempt to raise his defenses.
It was too late though, as 19 appeared in front of him without warning, catching the exhausted Super Saiyan pre-teen in his vice like grip.
Trunk immediately felt an icy cold enter his body where the Android was holding him and quickly spreading throughout him, it was as if his own life was draining away.
"Guys we've got to help Trunks now!" Tien shouted his red aura flaring around him, he had somehow managed to keep his third eye on Trunks' increasingly desperate struggle despite the sudden dangerous turn that had just happened in Piccolo's fight.
Chi Chi was right behind him, she wasn't going to let someone who reminded her so much of who her own son would be if he was still around, die against these monsters.
They both took off, cutting the air apart, but no sooner had they taken to the air that both were cloth-lined by a pair of powerful, Pink arms outstretched, with large spike rising his armor.
As both of the two most powerful human fighters gagged momentarily, the newcomer took advantage of the situation by slamming the stunned human fighters into each other, and finishing the combo with a quick backflip kick sending them back on a collision course with the ground.
From above the battlefield Dr. Gero took note of the latest changes, 'Ah so the humans finally forced Android 21 to react. Well it won't matter anyway, there is no way they have the power to defeat Wheelo's pet.'
"Wheelo, give me an update, are 20 and 22 in position yet?" Dr. Gero asked his partner in crime through a small communicator with him.
The disembodied voice echoed it's response a few seconds later. "Yes both are ready to strike on your command."
"Perfect." Gero said before returning his attention to the battlefield, a look of pure joy on his face. There was now no way Goku and his friends would be able to avoid succumbing to his revenge this time.
The wastes of hell were never ending. Exactly the complete desolation capable of driving one mad. But at the same time, it was the perfect place for the hunted to stay hidden.
Packs of Saiyans roamed everywhere, each desperate for a challenge, for a chance to prove themselves. The same creatures who had ended his life now forced him to spend his afterlife hidden in the shadows.
Lord Slug knew he was lucky to have been as weak as he was when he first arrived. He would've never escape their watchful eyes had he proven capable of defeating even the weakest of the golden scourge.
Times had since changed. He wasn't sure what was going on in the mortal realm, but he was without a doubt one of its primary beneficiaries. Somewhere a Super Namekian, the likes of which the universe had never seen before had risen.
Whether it was the same one he had defeated before he couldn't tell. What he did know was his power had grown to a point almost beyond compare. He could dispatch entire teams of the golden Saiyan warriors without them even catching a glimpse of their attacker. He made sure to abandon the area before they had a chance to revive and report his location to the more powerful members of the accursed tribe.
The sudden influx of power flowing through his veins now demanded to be used. Somehow a Namekian had increased his power by a massive leap. Undoubtedly using the Kaioken technique he had seen on Earth.
A small voice of uncertainty struggled against his current urge to prove himself the most powerful being in the underworld.
He had nearly made an irreversible mistake, preparing to challenge the Saiyan Elite. He was fortunate King Cold had taken the fall instead. The fool was so broken down he barely fought back anymore. A mere shell of his former self.
Lord Slug knew it was a risk, he had seen Cepa's might first hand as she dismantled the previous ruler of the galaxy. But now it seemed like a risk worth taking.
Even before he was capable of following all of Cold's movements, he could even follow most of Cepa's as well.
Safety dictated he wait longer, but his pride compelled him to attack now. He had been forced to hide in the shadows and watch the Frost Demons steal the throne that was destined to be his, been made to suffer the humiliation of meeting his end at the hands of an overgrown monkey. No more, if he can't rule the land of the living he would rule the land of the dead. He'd break down Cepa the same way she had Cold, never even giving her a chance to fight back.
A golden aura surrounded Slug as he slowly rose in the air and blasted off at speeds few of denizens could ever hope to follow.
Within a fraction of a second he had crossed the vast distance separating him and the Saiyan capital. Decapitating several Saiyan warriors who had the misfortune of being within arm's reach as he passed.
Finally he arrived in the throne room. Cepa's eyes were just beginning to widen with surprise as a massive power level burst onto the scene seemingly out of nowhere.
Slug wasted no time in announcing himself, as he simply reached out and in one fluid motion crushed the Saiyan Queen's skull.
Finally the senses if the others in the throne room caught up enough to see the scene before them. Out of nowhere a green warrior had appeared and without hesitation killed their Queen, the mightiest Saiyan warrior.
Tawas charged forward, just beginning to ignite his Super Saiyan aura, determined to avenge the honor of his Queen.
He never had a chance to strike as Slug dropped Cepa's lifeless body to the side and blasted a hole clean through the Saiyans abdomen.
The throne room was silent for a moment as the other Saiyans attempted to weigh their options.
"No other takers? Good. I'm Lord Slug, the rightful ruler of this realm. All will bow before me or prepare themselves for an endless cycle of agony." He haughty declared.
Such a challenge had the opposite of the intended effect as multiple Super Saiyan auras burst to life around him.
"Fools" Slug shouted as he effortlessly picked the Saiyan warriors apart. The throne room quickly filled with blood and vicera.
Slug got so caught up in his attacks that he forgot an important aspect of the realm, a mistake that caused a slight shiver to crawl down his spine as a voice rang out.
"Welcome to my castle, please make yourself at home." The newly revived Cepa called out from behind an icy tone to her voice.
"I'm not sure if you're new to hell, or if you've somehow managed to avoid my watchful eye during my reign, I can assure you though, you now have my complete...and undivided attention!" He shouted as her transition from the Super Saiyan form she had just achieved into something beyond that, arcs of electricity flowing off every inch of her body.
Hopefully the wait for this chapter wasn't as long as the previous ones. Thank you everyone for the tremendous support after last chapter. I've never gotten so many reviews from a single chapter and that has really helped brighten up a really tough month of school work!
With finals coming up soon this is going to be the last update until the summer though, hopefully it won't be a terribly long wait though.

Thank you for the review. Zenkai's are useful for a while, in the show though they seemed to peak when the fighters were in the low millions though, i.e. the Namek saga. Because of this I've always assumed the boosts they give you start to not keep up with the incredible growth in strength seen later on in the series.
You are correct Saiyans incapable of transforming were deemed as failures, furthermore they were the decendants of those that fled the initial destruction of the Saiyan homeworld branding them as cowards as well. Frieza was captured simply because he was prey worth hunting. Hell in my story is a lawless place like the savanah, with packs of super Saiyans constantly roaming it trying to find new interesting fights. Frieza just happened to be the most powerful thing they had found for awhile.
Yes many other frost demons in hell, like Cold and Frieza. Most aren't strong enough to keep even the weakest Super Saiyans entertained though and they've already gotten bored with most of those who are.

Basically Dr. Gero didn't transform himself into an Android because even with Kaichen and Wheelo's help upgrading the Androids he just didn't have time. There are still a few surprises to be held.
Dr. Gero has a simple energy field, think like a super weak version of Raichi's shield. Plus Android 21 was on standby as you saw at the end of the chapter in case anything got out of hand.
16, did generally have a peaceful personality that hasn't changed as a whole. He hasn't gotten a chance to see nature though, plus based on his interaction with Imperfect cell in the show, if he deems someone a target he has no problem using force against them. Piccolo is just this universe's Goku to 16.

Looks like you managed to predict the end to this chapter, great job ;) I was going to push his power play off alittle longer but since you brought it up I figured I could mix that fight in with all the other action going on.
It's quite possible there could be beings on the outside capable of killing Cepa, though as this chapter showed you'd need something down right legendary to get the job done.
Dr. Wheelo received his payment, it might not be in a form that anyone was expecting though ;)

Yeah Goku got stronger due to stronger training partners in the beginning but it slowed back down to a more normal rate at the end since he was training trunks. Cooler isn't quite as hax as frieza was in the latest movie. But training for a year and a half with Piccolo does help. The Android saga should be fun!
Because i like to sadistically make everyone wait because i'm evil mwhahahaha. In all seriousness we will be revisting the group soon.

I don't intended to include much if any Super in the story, at least not at the moment.
Frieza's buff form was just his 100% power form, something he rarely got a chance to do. Taiga can go 100% without a serious buff because his power level is so much lower.
If I remember right Frieza's death was reported by Raditz and Gohan because Namek got destroyed with him still on it. It's possible he assumes the other two met with similar fates.
The biggest threat to Frieza in the galaxy was from his own kind, specifically his siblings that he and Cooler had spent decades exterminating. Besides that there isn't a whole lot left powerful enough to be a threat.

In all likelihood he has at least once or twice. He doesn't have to make as many trips down to hell though because the Super Saiyan packs keeps most threats in hiding.
Yes, it is very unlikely previous legendary Super Saiyans went anywhere else.
Yes I did there have been other fighters on par with Frieza or Cold that have made it into Hell over the ages. They eventually get worn down by sheer numbers, or by running into a Super Saiyan elite like Cepa. There are a few horrors in the more distant parts of hell that the Saiyans have learned to stay away from due to centuries of interactions.
I haven't kept up with Super much, in all honestly I haven't been very impressed with it based on what I've seen so far. Between that and being an Astronomy major who loves exoplanets I can assure you there are many more inhabited planets in my story. Besides Turles himself has destroyed hundreds of planets himself. And that doesn't make sense with the shear number of species that showed up in DBZ...so yeah that was very lazy writing on their part.
GT is more likely than super to have an element or two included. But as a whole still not terribly likley.

3 whole chapters?! Really dropped the ball there ;) I'm kidding just glad you're caught up now, hopefully you are enjoying the story still. I'm glad you like the additions I've made to the Frost Demon species' backstory.
Yeah it's possible I'm not doing Turles justice. He's not supposed to be a likable character at the moment though. Hopefully the next few chapters he's in will at least flush him out some more.

Since Piccolo and Cooler were able to train against someone who was for all intents and purposes their equal they were able to gain strength much faster than the other fighters. I'm not going to do a complete list but I have Piccolo base at 200,000,000 and Cooler 5th form as 400,000,000. So they by far got the most out of the last year and a half. Thanks again for the review

Perfect Cell or Super Perfect Cell? Perfect Cell we got a glimpse of someone as strong as him facing off against her starting this chapter, we'll have to see how it ends.
We'll slowly get a glimpse of her power as the story goes on.
With years of training the Generals each had power levels over 100 million with kaioken. So even the weakest of them would likely defeat Frieza.
Chi Chi had Gota instead of Gohan just based on the timing. You wouldn't expect the same character to be born 2 years early. With the whole exchange between Goku and Chi Chi something had to come from that. Goten can still be born if the situation arises.

Up until he teamed up with Turles Gohan probably could've passed Yemma's judgement, but now he would probably be condemned, because he is willingly wiping out entire planets.

Thanks glad you are enjoying it! Cooler respects his men as long as they prove themselves useful. He sees things as more business first. Piccolo can get his base stronger, improving his kaioken further is going to be difficult.

I'm sorry this update took so long, hopefully it was worth it! There are probably a handful of other forces around a Ginyu level of strength, warriors that powerful would be few and far between. Anyone who wasn't useful to the PTO was wiped out. After Avo and Cado's demise anyone around that level is probably trying to keep their heads low for awhile.
At this point squadrons of that level are fodder for even the weakest of the main characters. If they make an appearance it would just be to be made an example of.

If the Super Saiyans were still alive the entire galaxy at the very least would've been enslaved. Nothing could oppose them.
Yes the Frost Demons have all taken turns being Saiyan playthings.
Pyros probably met a similar end. He likely was killed by the armoured squadron or other shock troops on Cooler's orders.
I think Supreme Kai is aware that there are powerful fighters rising in this galaxy, like how I'm sure he knew there were in the show. He just took a "I can't die so can't interfere." Strategy so didn't get too involved.

Yes, Goku did after talking to Nappa and Vegeta he was worried about what Gohan might've had to do out there, he wanted Cooler to be an example to Gohan that even a Frost Demon can be reformed.
17 and 18 and the others view each other as contemporaries. But at the same time 13 and gang are more bloodthirsty and stepped on the others turf, leading to their beat down.
They divided up the world half and half.
Because they killed everyone in their own territory.

Well they do already know Kaioken. And Roshi was able to get a KO with the spirit bomb early. They each have done some gravity training and I plan on them continuing their training in the future. Piccolo will stay as one of the more powerful fighters. Don't worry. :)

Thank you for the reviews! It means alot to me that you are enjoying the story so much! It was fun following your progress! Glad you like Cooler. Turles isn't supposed to be likable at the moment. I will try to flush his character out more in the coming chapters. There is a slight mutual respect Turles sees Gohan as the future of their race, at the same time he sees him as hot headed and borderline feral. He's almost as dangerous as an ally as an enemy in many ways. He also suspects Gohan would betray him given the chance, mostly due to him being disobedient while enraged. If Gohan felt it would be advantageous to betray Turles he probably would. I think he would try to keep him alive though.

They see Gohan as an ally, Gohan probably respects Ginyu more than Turles because of the fact Turles is trying to hard to keep Gohan in line that it is straining that relationship. Gohan is already beyond the point of Ginyu being able to restrain him so there isn't much that can be done there.

Thanks for the review! And the congrats :), it has been a long journey here. I think we are in agreement with the differences between Cooler and Frieza.
It's possible he could fight with them out of his own free will, but it might not be for the same noble reasons as the others.
Tarble is capable of appearing in the story, but I'm not sure he adds much to the story. Honestly right now he doesn't even have a reason to leave his home world with Avo and Cado dead.
I will have to go back to watch the movie again to be sure, but I was fairly sure he showed at least some loyalty to his men. If not that could've been a mistake on my part.
They come in all shapes and forms in hell, those who had just transformed i.e. roughly 150,000,000 up to Cepa who has already proven herself more powerful than I believe Goku was when he faced Perfect Cell.
He does want to keep Gohan weak enough that he can control him. If Gohan didn't have a tendency to lose control and disobey when he unleashes his rage, Turles would be more forgiving. Their relationship is rocky at best so yeah in some ways Turles does fear Gohan.
There are a couple of beings down there capable of defeating Cepa currently.

For the last year and a half Goku only trained with Trunks and the other fighters on Earth, Piccolo and Cooler were in isolation.
I can't tell you when the threat will be revealed.
You're right as scary as Cepa is whatever managed to kill her and her subordinates is probably much more terrifying.
She is not the most powerful in hell at the moment.

Thanks for the review! Respect in the loosest definition of the word. Frieza finds Ginyu useful mostly, and loyal which is important. There are beings stronger than Cepa down there. Super is unlikely to make an appearance. I've planned it out multiple times actually lol, it gets tweaked as I go along, any little change could have cascading effects down the line.
