AN: Sorry for the delay! During that time, I had been updating other stories I hadn't updated so recently. I kind of learned my lesson of starting too many stories at the same time. Because of that, I have to put more time in updating other stories. Working on one story at a time would have been much better overall.
Thank you DakotaDusty for telling me what the characters say. Sometimes I can't hear what they're actually saying.
Many of the smashers were already up at this time (7:00 am). Well of course, the lazier smashers who loved to sleep more, like Bowser or King Dedede, were still sleeping. Oh well, if they sleep more, they would miss the first film of the day. After all, the Hands don't care for even the slightest bit if they were late.
Just so you know, today was the fifth day. According to the summary, there would be two more days until the smashers came. Master Hand came to correct that.
After breakfast, Master Hand made that correction.
"The new smashers that have been featured will come after this week. From that point, you and the new smashers will watch more trailers. After that week ends, or if all of the trailers get finished already- I'm not doing the math to see how many more days the trailers would take- the other smashers will come.
R.O.B. calculated how many more days the trailers would take. Unfortunately, he did not know how many trailers there were. Boo hoo, R.O.B. The robot felt discouraged.
Sadly, he said, "I guess all of the trailers will finish up by next week..."
Master Hand nodded (well, how does a hand actually nod? Does it move up and down or what? Hands don't have heads, so I don't know). "Well, alright. Here we go! The first film of today!"
All of the smashers sat down in the film room and waited for the film to begin.
The film begins!
Several cliffs with a cloudy blue sky makes a beautiful scene.
Suddenly, the screen moves to the ground, where something is stomping hard on the ground. It turns out to be Bowser running after something.
After running, he gives out a loud roar that shakes the screen. A yellow butterfly flies by, seemingly undisturbed by Bowser's loud roar. Bowser's eyes follow the butterfly as he is still in his roaring pose. He turns.
Some mysterious figure is crouching among bushes and plants, seemingly close by. The person holds a large, strange red blade with glows slightly with blue markings. The mysterious person wears some maroonish- red kind of armor.
The sword splits open, but not like it's breaking apart. It crackles with blue electricity as it opens, revealing a bright blue blade inside. The dimly glowing marks on the blade intensify.
Back to Bowser, the Koopa King turns back, noticing something. Then, he turns away. What is he looking for?
The blade wielder jumps up high, out of his hiding spot, yelling "Backslash!". He comes up behind the confused Koopa King, his blue blade swinging down. Bowser is flung far away.
"Why would I be distracted by a butterfly?" Bowser says, somewhat exasperated. "I'm a Koopa King. I would never be distracted!"
"Ha! You know, once I saw you being distracted by a kitten the other day," Ness points out.
"Wait- How do you know?" Bowser asks, then inwardly sighs, knowing that everyone knows that he really does get distracted by some things.
The audience chuckles.
"It's not that funny!"
The blade of the person closes up to its original form as he holds it over his shoulder with his right hand.
He says, "I'm really feelin' it!"
Shulk Forsees a Fight! The splash-art reads.
Then, Shulk seems to sense something. With a flash of blue, he senses the future. Marth and Link come up from behind and attack Shulk, sending him off on the same fate Bowser came into.
With the vision over, he turns and sees Marth and Link from the vision and knows what to do. He flips backward as the attack almost connects.
Marth lunges forward, sword ready, and thrusts the sword forward.
Shulk moves aside, making Marth's move miss.
"He seems good," Marth admits. "But I can do a lot better than that!"
Link agrees.
Link is about to hit Shulk with his sword, except Shulk notices just in time. Using his sword, he fights them away. He flips away.
"Now it's Shulktime," Shulk says as he holds his blade in a certain way.
A circle area in his sword flashes green, blue, yellow, purple, and then red, and Chinese characters represent each color (I am almost sure those are Chinese characters).
Using the 'red' power, Shulk says, "This is the Monado's power!"
Movin on, Shulk is in a battlefield. He then faces towards the screen.
Almost immediately after, he is battling Link, using his blade to send Link hitting the ground.
Shulk battles Olimar and Captain Falcon. The two veteran smashers seem to be no match for Shulk as he slams them away with his Monado blade.
Shulk spins around on a planet like battlefield, hitting his opponents closeby.
In another scene, two villagers are floating with balloons, while Shulk remains on the ground. The one in the yellow helmet has a green shirt or dress and has two yellow balloons. The red Villager has a red shirt and helmet, and black shorts, with blue shoes. He has two red balloons. Strangely, both Villagers are in the same strange position (well, for me the position looks quite strange. For two Villagers to be doing that is kind of funny actually).
Shulk swings his blade and hits the two Villagers with only one swing.
Next, Shulk has a white Chinese character that is glowing in green. It gives him the power to jump higher. He jumps higher than Pit flies.
Shulk is then next to a blue-glowing character that gives him the power to be faster. He beats Villager on his weird tree projectile in a 'race'.
A yellow-glowing character gives Shulk a better shield. As Mario hits Shulk, Shulk doesn't seem to be absorbing as much damage as others normarly would.
A purple-glowing character gives Shulk a 'Buster' Power. On a plane battlefield against Toon Link, Toon Link gets a lot of damage from Shulk's purple-glowing blade.
Finally, the red-glowing character gives Shulk a better Smash power. Using his forward smash against Lucario and Donkey Kong, knocking both of them out.
In a different scene, Shulk is with Riki. The strange creature says, "Get them, Shulk!"
For the next few scenes, Shulk is shown using his various moves to attack the smashers. He says "Airslash!" in one scene, and "Backslash!" for another.
His counter-attack is shown to retaliate against Marth's attack. In a blue flash, Marth is knocked backwards.
More fighting scenes pass by.
Shulk's costumes in another scene are also shown. Some of the smashers thought this was quite strange, about how Shulk could go shirtless.
But moving on, his final smash was shown. He shouts out, "Dunban! Riki! Help me out!" During the final smash, the three attack the victim, who is Bowser. Bowser is helpless. Powering up a final attack, Bowser is KO'd (probably, the trailer doesn't show if that actually happens or not). The film wraps up to a close.
But the scene opens up again, to a robot (Metal Face). Shulk is staring up at it. Metal Face says, "Fancy meeting you here, Monado Boy." Shulk gets his blade ready.
The film then ends, fading into darkness.
After the film
"Wow, that was some smasher," Ike talks to Link and Marth.
Marth nods. "His blade looks strange."
Zelda cuts in, as being near by. "Well, don't forget that Shulk's blade supposedly gives him powers. He can jump higher, have a better shield, go faster, give more damage to opponents, or have a better smash. Nobody has that."
They all nod.
At lunch, all are talking about the new smasher featured for today.
"Is he good or bad?" Wolf asks. "We need villains. Really."
At another table, the swordsmen all talk about his strange blade, as Marth had pointed out earlier.
"It's a strange but powerful blade," Ike concludes.
"The Monado blade," Link says.
Marth tells both of them, "I can't wait to battle him. He seems strong."
...
"Who uses such a blade? It doesn't look real." Toon Link asks curiously to his friends at the kid's table.
Nana agrees. "I've never seen that type of sword."
"Well, that's because the swords or blades you see here are the only types of swords you have ever seen!" Popo reminds. "In our world, we don't really use swords or blades as our weapons, anyway."
"Well, still!" Nana glares, knowing that her brother had pointed out something she hadn't realized. After all, she was the smart one and was supposed to notice everything.
...
Talks of the newest featured smasher goes around the mansion as everyone anticipates the time when all of the newest smashers will arrive to challenge the veterans. With no battles or challenges, the veterans all grow restless for them to come!
AN: I felt as if this chapter was way more detailed than some of the others. Please review, and have a wonderful 4th of July (for tomorrow)!
