"You found a hot blonde?" Sonny asked

"MmHmm" Paul replied licking his lips.

"Oh" Sonny whispered. Why was this bothering him so much, he was with kissed him last week though, and he was obsessing over it while Paul was acting like nothing happened. Maybe he finally got the hint after all the unanswered phone call and texts. Still he should have said something or at least not openly flaunt this new 'hot blonde' in his face.

"I think he stood you up." Luke finally said to alleviate the awkward silence and hopefully to bring Sonny back to earth and stop staring at Paul.

"Not a chance." Paul said smirking "I'm going to go find him."

"Paul Narita?" T practically screamed.

"Yeah." Will replied for the twentieth time. Seriously T had asked that very question twenty times.

"In Salem?" T asked

"Yes!" Will replied.

"At JP's?"

"YES!"

"Buying you a drink?"

"T! Paul Narita is here in Salem at JP's and offered to buy me a drink! How many times are we going to go over this!" Will said looking over to the bar "And he's going to leave if I don't get over to the bar soon."

"Dude are you sure it's a good idea to have a drink with another guy?" Chad asked

"It's not like that, I mean come on it's Paul Narita" Will laughed

"Paul Narita, a young gay man, just like you William Horton."

Will thought about it, what if Chad was right what if Paul was trying to hook up. Salem was a small town with very few openly gay men. Will threw it out there that he was gay, what if Paul thought that was an invitation.

"It doesn't matter. I have Sonny." Will said and then questioned that statement, did he really have Sonny? He's been distant lately, maybe he was trying to let Will down easy, slowly disappear from his life. Something happened the day of the tux fitting, maybe it freaked him out. Maybe thinking of his friends getting married made him realize he wanted to live his life more. Dating a man with a kid was the opposite of living his life, it was pretty damn close to settling down and getting married.

Paul Narita" T said

"Yes!" Will turned to T and yelled at him.

"No. Paul Narita" T said pointing behind Will.

Will turned and there he was Paul standing there with two drinks in his hand.

"I thought maybe you forgot about me." Paul said handing a beer to Will.

"No, sorry. I was coming." Will replied.

Paul chuckled at that, he wasn't coming now but defiantly would be later. "I didn't know what you liked." He said gesturing to the beer.

"This is great." Will said taking a sip. "Thank you."

"Is he okay?" Paul said and Will turned to see T just standing there mouth open.

"Star struck" Will explained.

"Hey man." Paul said offering his hand, which T shook.

"Hi. I umm...I uh.. I'm going to...go over...somewhere I'm going to go somewhere" T said and walked away.

"I'll go handle that. Huge fan by the way." Chad said shaking Paul's hand before whispering "Behave" to Will and venturing off to find where T disappeared to.

"Sorry he gets nervous around people, and not just famous people, it's anyone really."

"It's cool.I'm use to it." Paul said laughing and leading them over to an empty table. "So Will tell me about yourself."

"Well umm, I'm 24 and I write for the sports column of our local paper."

"Ah..so this is just so you can get the latest scoop." Paul smiled at him.

"What? No. NO!"

"Relax, Will, I'm joking."

"Oh okay. I'm not like that, just so you know. That tabloid, I mean. I only write what people tell me and agree to. I would never out anyone."

"It sucks, but honestly its the best thing that ever happened to me. My family finally knows so that's a huge weight off my shoulders and they're okay with it, they still love and support me. And the fans, they have just been amazing. Especially young gay men who tell me I helped them or gave them the courage to come out and be themselves, that seriously makes it all worth it."

"So its been positive for you?" Will asked

"Not all of it, there were a few jokes from team mates and some hate mail but it's to be expected. I couldn't live the rest of my life a lie."

"Well I promise I am not trying to get a story out of this."

"I believe you, you seem like a nice person, and you understand what it's like to be gay."

"I do. Trust me I understand how hard it is coming out, and I think a professional athlete being proud and loud about being gay is great. The world is changing and you have the potential to be a big part of that"

"Thank you, but enough of this serious talk how about we get some shots. I need to catch a buzz, it's been a long day."

"Sure." Will got up and followed him to the bar where they ordered shots

"Here's to a great night." Paul said winking at Will before taking his shot.

Will raised his glass and banged into the person behind him.

"Oh sorry!" Will said turning around and coming face to face with Luke.

"Oh hey man! I know you!" Luke said slurring his words "Will right?"

"Yeah your Sonny's friend Luke." Will answered.

"Yeah Man!" Luke yelled and then noticed Paul "Dude, no luck with the hot blonde?"

"Still working on it" Paul winked at him.

"So where is he?" Luke asked

"He's behind you." Paul said

"Will? Will's the hot blonde?" Luke asked

"Me? Hot blonde?" Will asked.

"You mean your sleeping with Sonny's.. and he's sleeping with Sonny's..." Luke trailed off

"What are you talking about?" Paul asked confused "Where did Sonny go?"

"No one is sleeping together!" Will yelled turning red. "Wait, Sonny's here?"

"Will, what are you doing here?" Sonny asked walking up behind him.

"Me?! What are you doing here?" Will asked angrily "I thought you were tired."

"I just..." Sonny said rubbing his neck but was cut off by Paul.

"You two know each other?" Paul asked

"Oh..Oh.. Sonny!" Luke yelled. "Will's him!"

"What?" Sonny asked confused, Luke did this when he got drunk, he would get really excited and not be able to form proper sentences, but expected everyone to know what he was talking about.

"Blonde!"

"I'm not following man." Sonny replied

"Will, is the hot blonde!" Luke shouted so loud everyone probably heard him over the music.

"I am not a hot blonde!" Will yelled back.

"Honey yes you are." Some random girl next to Will said staring him up and down.

"Your the guy who was throwing himself at Paul?" Sonny asked

"What?! No!" Will yelled

"Dude you were flirting with me?" Paul said

"I was not!" Will replied

"So you just let any guy buy you a drink?" Paul asked

"Seriously? You offered to buy me a drink, nothing else was implied."

"Guys don't just buy other guys drinks for no reason!"

"I just thought you were being nice, and your Paul Narita how could I turn that down?"

"So as long as their famous you think it's okay to flirt with other guys?" Sonny asked.

"I was not flirting with him!" Will yelled back

"What is...how do you two know each other?" Paul asked confused

"Sonny is Will's boyfriend" Luke said gesturing to the bar tender for more shots.

"So that's why you haven't been returning my calls or texts." Paul said

"What is he talking about?" Will asked

"Maybe we could take this outside." Sonny said putting his hand on Will's shoulder. Will jerked his shoulder away but led the way outside.

"So you lied to me telling me you were tired just so you could come out with your friends to a bar?" Will asked as soon as they got outside.

"I didn't lie to come to a bar." Sonny said

"But your admitting you lied." Will yelled at him

"Don't get mad at me your the one flirting with another guy!" Sonny yelled back.

"I was not flirting!" Will yelled getting even more angrier. Sonny was the one who lied, but he was being accused of something he didn't even do. Sonny lied to him! He lied to him to come out drinking with friends. How could he be so naive. What young guy wanted to settle down and play house with a guy he just met. This was what he was waiting for. Nothing good ever happened for him, of course Sonny would get tired of staying in and not having a life. Sonny was adventurous, and fun, he didn't want to spend his nights watching frozen and putting his daughter to bed."I'm out of here!" Will said storming away he didn't know what he was going to do about Sonny but one thing he knew for sure he was never coming to JP's again. Only bad things seem to happen at JP's.
