Tailed Beast thinking: Damn you 4th Hokage
I don't own Naruto or any other manga/anime in any way shape or form. (sorry for not disclaiming in the last chapter.)
story has some slight x-overs.
Chapter 6: Naruto V.S. Danzo!
Appearing in a distant wasteland with an orange flash, Naruto dropped Danzo to the ground with a *thud*. Naruto picked up the tri-kunai he had placed here. "There we go. Wouldn't want this around, for me to use to get out of the way. Then again, I'd probably use it eventually anyway. Heehee." Said Naruto, as he pocketed the kunai.
"Wh...what are we doing here?" Danzo asked, still unable to move.
"Hm? OH! I almost forgot." Naruto sarcastically replied. "We're going to fight. I'm going to be going at you with the intent to kill. And I have every intention to do so. If you want to survive, I suggest you do the same. Like I said, I'm giving you a fair fight. That means and empty battlefield. The only preparation I made was the single tri-kunai. But that was only to get us here. Aside from that, this wasteland is completely deserted." Naruto explained.
"You say 'fair fight'. Yet, you have weapons you can use. While I have nothing, and am still bound by this seal." Said Danzo, impatiently.
"You should've thought about that before messing with Hinata. As for the seal, it's an advanced Uzumaki Clan seal. There is no breaking it, unless released by either the same Uzumaki, or a much more powerful Uzumaki. And since I'm the most powerful Uzumaki, that means that only I can release it. And I will." Naruto replied, with indifference.
"Well then. What are you waiting for?" Danzo asked.
"Nothing. Just enjoying the sight, since at the end of the fight you'll be dead. I want to enjoy the sight of you at 100 percent, down at my feet." Naruto answered. "Kind of ironic, isn't it? You tried for years to take my life after trying to ruin it. Now, I'm taking your life. The only difference is, we'll be fighting on equal ground." Said Naruto, as he pulled out a weapons pouch.
Naruto threw it down by Danzo. "What's that for?" Danzo asked, confused.
"Like I said. We'll be fighting on equal ground. That was originally for me, incase I ran out of weapons. But, since you don't have any. Then that's for you." Naruto explained.
"And how do I know that you haven't already marked them with your seal?"
"Hmm?" Naruto replied, with his fingers on his chin. "Good question. I guess you don't. It's up to you whether or not to use them." Naruto finished, placing his hands in the Ram hand-sign. "Release!"
Danzo had been trying to escape the seal he was placed in ever since it was put in place. But, it blocked his physical and chakra movements. So no matter what he did, he couldn't get out. Not until Naruto had released the seal. Once he did, Danzo could finally move again.
Standing up, Danzo stepped way from the weapons pouch. "I'm not going to accept your offer. For all I know, it could be a trap." Said Danzo.
"Can't say I blame you. I just did that to make it an even fight. But if you insist, I suggest you get ready now." Said Naruto, as he adjusted into a fighting stance.
"Very well." Danzo replied, as he began removing his right arm out of his sling. "I'd prefer not to use this, but against you I have little choice."
Having his right arm now out of the sling, Naruto saw that said arm was covered by three large golden braces. Naruto raised a single eyebrow at this, wondering what he was hiding under there. He wouldn't have to wait lone, as Danzo removed the braces. Once removed, Naruto saw a pale white arm with ten Sharingan eyes implanted in it.
"Sharingan!? You must've taken them after Itachi took out his clan."
"Yes. That is true. And with them, you will not win."
"So, you're a liar, a manipulator and a grave robber." Said Naruto, in a threateningly dark voice. Naruto then looked Danzo in the eye. "I'm going to stop you here and NOW!" Naruto said, yelling on the final word. Naruto then charged forward with his sword drawn.
Danzo quickly pulled out a kunai from his sleeve and blocked the orange blade, as he held his kunai in a reverse grip. A single clash of sparks flew as the two blades connected. "That's a unique blade." Said Danzo.
"Thanks. But flattering my weapons make me spare you." Naruto replied.
"True. But tell me something."
"What is it?"
"Your grades in the academy were far below subpar. How is it that you could master the Fourth Hokage's 'Flying Raijin Jutsu'?" Danzo asked.
Naruto jumped back, but kept his sword up as he kept his eyes locked on Danzo. "Yea, I wondered that too. Turns out, dad figured I'd have my mom's academic habits. So in the scroll he left behind, was actually a severely dumbed down version of the actual jutsu. And before you ask, I destroyed that scroll as soon as I found that out. I wasn't about to risk letting that jutsu fall into hands like yours!" Naruto answered, as he went it for another attack.
A few clashes between blades passed, before they ended up in another stalemate. "I see. So, you're not a complete imbecile." Said Danzo, as he jumped back and performed three hand-signs.
Taking the opening, Naruto rushed forward and slashed right through Danzo's midsection. Danzo's body, fell to the ground it two pieces. "Hmpf. That's it? Man that was lame. I thought he'd be...what!?" Said Naruto, as he looked over his shoulder toward Danzo. Danzo's body was lying there lifeless, before his body suddenly disappeared into thin air. "That's not a 'Substitution Jutsu'. So what is it?" Naruto asked, as he turned around to search for his enemy.
"You should quit asking questions and fight! Lord Uzumaki!" Said Danzo, as he appeared behind, and attempting to attack Naruto.
Naruto quickly jumped forward in order to avoid Danzo's kunai. Managing to dodge the attack, Naruto quickly turned around to see Danzo. "Heh. You're right. Now's not the time or talk. It's the time for a fight."
Naruto then charged forward, channeling Wind chakra through his blade and swung it forward. Danzo countered by channeling his own Wind chakra through his kunai. After a brief struggle, Naruto backed off and sheathed his sword. Deciding to settle for Ninjutsu instead. "Wind Style: Great Breakthrough!" Naruto called, as he finished the necessary hand-signs.
The jutsu created a powerful gust of wind, that took Danzo off his feet. Taking advantage of this, Naruto unsheathed his sword while dashing forward until he was right under Danzo. "Kenjutsu Art: Wind Style: Whirlpool Slash!" Naruto called, as he made two full turns. This caused the wind from his first jutsu to change form into that of a whirlpool, with Naruto and Danzo in the center. Naruto however remained unharmed, while Danzo was getting cut up left and right.
Or so it seemed, as Danzo simply seemed to phase out of existence. Sheathing his sword, Naruto cut the flow of chakra to his technique. "That's twice now. What kind of jutsu is that? It's not a 'Space-Time Ninjutsu'. So, what is it?" Naruto asked, turning to see Danzo coming out of the trees.
"That is none of your concern. You can't defeat it, even if you knew how it worked." Said Danzo. "I should end this quickly. My summons should do the trick. Since he no longer has the toads, it should be simple enough." Danzo thought, as he drew blood and performed the necessary hand-signs. Once finished, Danzo slammed his hand down on the ground. With a large plume of smoke, appeared an elephantine like creature.
"What the hell is that?!" Naruto yelled, as he quickly jumped back to avoid the creature's massive trunk. The impact created another large cloud of smoke. "Whoa!"
"This is Baku, the eater of dreams. Now, prepare to be eaten." Said Danzo, as he gave Naruto a slight smirk.
With that, the beast known as Baku began it's main attack. Opening it's mouth, a powerful suction came into creation. Naruto had barely managed channel chakra to his feet, but it was getting increasingly difficult. Danzo, took this opportunity to escape. Naruto noticed this.
"Great. Should've known I'd need them. Oh well. Heh. Probably thought I'd be helpless, and get eaten. Or leave here period. Well, I choose none of the above." Said Naruto, talking to himself. He quickly drew blood and performed some hand-signs. "Summoning Jutsu!" Naruto yelled, slamming his hand down. In yet another giant plume of smoke, a giant reddish fox appeared.
The giant fox immediately felt the suction of a powerful 'Wind Style' Jutsu. Acting quickly, the giant fox dug it's claws into the ground to avoid being sucked into the jutsu's source. "What's going on here, Naruto?" The fox asked.
"Danzo. He summoned this Baku thing. And he's trying to make a getaway." Naruto replied. "You can handle things here, Inari?" Naruto asked.
"No sweat. I got this wannabe summons!" The giant fox, now known as Inari, answered confidently. "You go take care of that old bastard!"
"Right!" Naruto replied, as he shunshined to where he was now behind the beast, Baku. He then bolted off, in search of Danzo.
"Alright, you reject for an elephant! Let's se how you like a little fire! "Fire Style: Flame Burst!" Inari called, exhaling a bullet shaped ball of flame. And he shot it directly into Baku's mouth. And with the suction of it's jutsu, caused Inari's attack to leave a devastating blow.
Baku stopped it's jutsu, and began writhing and stomping around in immense pain. It was in so much pain it couldn't think straight. It just wanted to get out of here, away from the pain. With that, it disappeared.
"Hmpf! Nothing more than a rampaging beast. I hope next time, Naruto summons me to fight Manda. Gamabunta and Katsuyu are far too lax when it comes to him. I however, won't be." Inari snarled, before he took his leave.
-Danzo-
Danzo had released his jutsu, in order to conserve his chakra and his arm's remaining Sharingan. Of which only seven remained. He was running as fast as he could, trying to get as far away from here as he can. Trying to get back to the Leaf Village, and turning them against Naruto and his village. He had only made it about a third of a mile, before he heard something he really didn't want to hear.
"Hey, Danzo. Enjoying the run?" Naruto asked, coming up next to the elder man.
Shocked, Danzo didn't see that the next tree branch was a little higher than the previous one. This caused him to trip, and fall twenty feet to the ground. Upon hitting the ground, Danzo rolled about ten feet before rolling back up to his feet. Only to receive a foot to his face, sending him into a nearby tree. "Oof!"
Rebounding off the tree, Danzo was sent right back into it by Naruto's elbow against his throat. "It looks like what ever that jutsu was, isn't working anymore. So, what does it do?" Naruto asked, though it sounded more of a demand.
"Ugh. Y..you don't n..need to know." Said Danzo, finding it slightly difficult to breathe.
"I disagree. I'm fighting you. You, who just so happens to be using that jutsu. Now, tell me. What does it do? And if you don't tell me, I'll make you." Naruto threatened.
"H..ha! As if you could make me!" Danzo laughed. "I prefer not to use Shisui's eye against him. But if he forces me, I'll have no choice." Danzo thought.
"Fine have it your way. 'Sealing Jutsu: Truth Projection Seal!'" Said Naruto, putting the palm of his left hand on Danzo's forehead. The application of the seal, caused Danzo to scream in agonizing pain.
"AAAAARRGGGHHH!" Danzo screamed. After a few seconds, Danzo had calmed down enough to where he was only *pant*ing.
"Now, what is the jutsu you were using?" Naruto asked, threateningly.
"I...It's called 'Izanagi'. It's a forbidden jutsu of the Uchiha Clan." Danzo replied, not knowing why he was answering Naruto's question.
"What kind of jutsu? And what does it do?"
"It's a powerful Genjutsu. It warps reality. Allowing the user to change his destiny."
"So if I killed you, you can somehow change it. Right?"
"Exactly. But only when it's active." Danzo answered, still not understanding why he of all people was talking.
"I see. It sounds like a dangerous jutsu. That makes you too dangerous. Too dangerous to let you have all these Sharingan." Said Naruto. Backing up, Naruto quickly unsheathed his sword and slashed at Danzo's left arm. Only to stop just a couple centimeters from cutting it off. This gave Danzo the opening he needed to kick Naruto away, sending him to the ground. Though, Naruto quickly rolled back up to his feet.
Seeing Danzo before him, Naruto dashed forward to attack. Only for his attack to miss his stationary target. Giving Danzo another opportunity to counterattack. Danzo's attack was merciless, multiple punches to Naruto's face and torso, along with kicks to the upper thighs and lower calves.
Naruto was taking a beating. Not even putting up a defense. To Naruto, it just seemed like he didn't want to fight anymore. To just let himself get killed by this old man.
Getting knocked to the ground again, Naruto remained still. Only moving his head to look at his enemy. "I believe I've wasted enough of my chakra on you." Said Danzo, as reached down and pulled a kunai from Naruto's pouch. His own now lost. "Now, our alliance is void. And once I've told the Village of what's happened here, your village will have once again be destroyed."
-Naruto's mindscape-
A certain being had been watching his container's battle. He was surprised by his opponent's possession of so many Sharingan. He knew nothing good could come of them. And he was right, when the potentially fatal blows his container had landed, seemed to have vanished when his opponent did. Then came when Naruto took the advantage of Danzo's released jutsu, and got useful information from his enemy. But he then got angry when his container got caught off guard by an eleventh Sharingan. But that didn't make him as angry as the fact that Naruto still hadn't realized what was happening.
Realizing that his container's life and, more importantly, his life was in jeopardy. Having little choice, he sent a pulse of his own chakra into Naruto's. Causing the Genjutsu to be dispelled.
-Real World-
Danzo felt the Nine-tails' chakra pulse throughout Naruto. He wanted to pull back, but the iron-clad grip Naruto now had on his wrist wouldn't allow him to. "What's this? How can you move?" Danzo asked, in a slight panic.
"Let's just say that the Nine-tails and I have a mutual understanding." Naruto explained.
"But, how can you trust it?"
"Better him, than a manipulative bastard like you." Naruto retorted. "Now, what was that Genjutsu?! Is it from a Sharingan?! It wasn't 'Izanagi'."Naruto asked, looking Danzo in the eye.
Danzo couldn't help but answer, since Naruto's seal was still in effect. "It's called 'Kotoamatsukami'. It's a Genjutsu that once belonged to Shisui Uchiha's Mangekyou Sharingan."
"Why steal his eye for your own?!" Naruto asked.
"In order eventually make myself Hokage and rule over the Ninja World. Such is the Hidden Leaf's destiny, as well as my own." Danzo replied, trying to get out of Naruto's grip.
Naruto couldn't believe what he had heard. But it didn't matter, Naruto knew that this man was crazy. And he had to be stopped at all costs. Naruto let his arm slack slightly, allowing Danzo to pull back. But Naruto never loosened his grip. Once Danzo backed up as far as he could, Naruto pulled him back toward him. Delivering a powerful sidekick to Danzo's ribs, with Naruto letting finally releasing his grip. The kick sent Danzo crashing trough a tree.
Performing a quick 'Summoning Jutsu!' , Naruto summoned his orange blade back to his hand. He then dashed forward toward Danzo, who was on his knees holding up a hand-sign. Coming up on his enemy, Naruto slashed through him. But once again, Danzo's dead form vanished.
"Damn it! 'Izanagi!'" Naruto growled, as he prepared for Danzo's attack.
He wouldn't have to wait long, as he heard Danzo call out a jutsu. "Wind Style: Slash!" Danzo called, waving his right hand from the left side of his body to the right. There were five separate blades of wind that merged to form one much larger wind blade.
Naruto quickly sent wind chakra into his sword, and swung his against Danzo's jutsu. The force of the jutsu pushed Naruto into the ground, almost forcing him to lose his grip on his sword. Luckily, Naruto managed to withstand the jutsu until it dissipated. But the moment the jutsu vanished, Danzo was right in front of him with a left fist that connected with Naruto's nose. Naruto stumbled back and could feel some blood running from his nose, but he quickly refocused himself and took his sword into a reverse grip.
Holding his blade out in front of him, Naruto said. "Whirlpool Style: Violent Twisted Winds!" With that, Naruto twisted the blade in his hand in circles. Causing wind to appear in a whirling fashion, and headed toward Danzo. The winds violently struck Danzo, tearing him into pieces. Only for him to disappear, yet again.
"Ok. This is getting old." Complained Naruto, as he stopped spinning his sword and sheathed it.
"Too bad! 'Wind Style: Vacuum Blade Jutsu!'" Said Danzo, as she threw several shuriken applied with wind chakra.
Seeing the oncoming shuriken, Naruto jumped into the trees in order to dodge Danzo's attack. As he did this, he noticed something about Danzo's arm. There were only five eyes open, and a sixth one was about half way opened. "Weird. All of those eyes were open earlier. So, why are so many of them closed now?" Naruto asked himself. No sooner had he asked himself, he saw Danzo checking his right arm. "Why is he checking his arm. Hmm. I'll have to test him out." Naruto thought, as he created a shadow-clone to survey Danzo.
Danzo was waiting impatiently for Naruto's next attack. He was that he only had four eyes open now. So in order to conserve some chakra, he released his jutsu. "I can't afford to wasted my chakra on his insolent brat." Danzo thought.
"Hey! Old fart!" Naruto yelled, causing Danzo to turn around. As soon as Danzo did, he ate a big fist from Naruto. The effects were almost immediate, as Danzo's nose was broken. Naruto only took a split second to see Danzo's slightly swollen and twisted nose, but he continued on forward and hit Danzo with a left uppercut. This sent Danzo a couple feet back and on to the ground and on his back. Naruto then jumped up and flipped, aiming an ax-kick toward Danzo's stomach.
Luckily for Danzo, he managed to recover enough to dodge by rolling to his right. After rolling a couple feet, he got up to his feet and jumped back. Dodging a left roundhouse kick from Naruto. Naruto using his momentum try a backflip kick, only to narrowly miss. But as he landed, he jumped back and spun to his right. Knocking Danzo in the face with a powerful back-fist, once again sending Danzo to the ground.
Quickly taking advantage, Naruto pulled out a kunai and threw it at Danzo's right arm. "AAAAARRRGGH!" Danzo screamed, as the kunai struck one of the remaining eyes. Cutting the number down to three.
Taking further advantage, Naruto unsheathed his sword and cut off Danzo's right arm at the elbow. Causing Danzo to scream even louder. After a few moments, Naruto spoke. "It seems you released the 'Izanagi'. Now. Why did so many of those eyes close?" Naruto asked.
Once again, Danzo couldn't resist answering. Even though he was in intense pain. "The 'Izanagi' has risks." Said Danzo, attempting to fight off Naruto's Sealing Jutsu.
"What kind of risks?" Naruto asked, knowing that Danzo's attempts are futile.
"It caused blindness. And the amount of time the jutsu remains active varies from user to user."
"That's why you need so many. To make sure the jutsu lasts as long as you need it to. Anyway, it's over now. 'Sealing Jutsu: Body and Chakra Binding Jutsu!'" Said Naruto, placing his hand on the ground. And once again, Danzo was surrounded by a black vortex with red markings. Once the vortex vanished, Naruto spoke again. "I won't kill you here. You have to stand trial, for what you've done. But first..." Naruto stated, before sheathing his sword and taking out a kunai. He then proceeded to carefully remove Danzo's right eye, causing Danzo scream in more pain.
"This eye is too dangerous. Especially in your hands. So, I'll be keeping this safe for now." Said Naruto, sealing the eye away in a scroll. Once he put the scroll away, he continued. "Now, for you. You'll be placed into one of our prison cells until your public trial." Said Naruto, as he grabbed a hold Danzo and disappeared in an orange flash.
Once they were gone, Zetsu appeared. "Interesting. Who knew that Danzo would've had Shisui's eye. And now, the Nine-tails has possession of it. We should report this to leader." He said, vanishing within the earth.
And that's chapter 6. Sorry it took so long, and was so short. I was just stuck with the fight scene. I really didn't have much to go on with Danzo's abilities, but I hope I did well enough.
