Alice's grip on my hand loosens as she gazes at Jasper's eyes.
I hear Emmett gasp as he realises what has happened.
I turn around to face Alice and crouch down to her level. I feel like I've lost her before I've even known her. I take a deep breath as Jasper walks towards us, human pace so not to scare Alice.
' Alice ' I whisper. She wrenches her gaze from Jaspers and I swear I heard him growl.
I try to ignore him best as possible. I try really hard to form words, to make her understand what is going to happen.
She waits patiently.
I know that you cannot keep an imprint from their vampire mate, the vampire would go crazy and do anything to get to their mate, they would never stop searching for their soul mate and you could die if you were the one keeping them apart.
But Alice is just a child who has been through too much. But I have to let her go...
I close my eyes and wait for the inevitable.
But Alice grips my hand tighter and whispers the words that make me pull her close and wish that I never have to let her go.
' Don't leave me Bella, don't leave me like everybody else. '
