I know I have to leave her soon so I can't promise I'm always going to be there. I can't stand vampires, I can't be around them for too long. I just need to know Alice is going to be okay.
I face Jasper his eyes still glued to Alice. I shudder at the thought of ever being imprinted on. I don't know what I'd do if it happened. Run and never look back.
' Alice, such a beautiful name ' I hear him mutter.
' Victoria is she your sister or .. ' He leaves it hanging expecting an answer.
I realise he's talking to me. I hesitate before replying.
' No '
He opens his mouth to question me further, but I interrupt him before he can ask me anything. I take a deep breath and tell him only need to know information about Alice. How I found her, everything Alice told me.
By the time I had finished Jasper had a very angry look in his eyes instead of golden they were black
He was speechless, I've never seen that happen before, I mean for a vampire but I guess having an imprint does that to you.
Jasper recovers quickly and crouches down to Alice. I glance around and find Emmett closer.
' Alice, my name is Jasper ' He sticks out his hand cautiously.
Alice glances at me, checking if it was okay. I tried to smile, but I couldn't my face wouldn't co-operate. Alice surprises me by jumping into his arms and giving him a full blown hug.
Jasper chuckles and hugs Alice back tighter, but not tight enough to hurt her. He's beaming.
Alice grabs my hand as Jasper gets up.
' Alice would you like to come back with me and my brother, Emmett '
Emmett comes into view. She hesitates before nodding. Alice grabs Jasper's hand, they take a step forward pulling me with them. I let go of Alice's hand as she takes another step. I can't go with her, I take a step back.
Alice looks back when she realises I'm not with her. She lets go of Jasper's hand and runs towards me.
' You have to come to ' She screams
' Of course Victoria, please come with us ' I look at Alice and she looks confused probably because of the change in name.
' I can't ' I whisper. Alice looks on the verge of tears.
' Alice ' says Jasper. He holds out his hand for her to take.
But Alice is stubborn, she fold her arms across her chest and stamps her foot on the ground in protest.
I hear Jasper growl but not at Alice, never to his imprint. He approaches Alice, picks her up and puts her on his shoulders.
' Come on Ali bug ' She giggles at his nickname.
' No Jazzy ' she replies, he smiles at their teasing.
' Jazzy, I like that ' booms in Emmett. Earning a hard look from Jasper and a growl.
' Please come with us, for Alice ' says Jasper looking at me. His statement just angers me and so does his controlling way, he doesn't ask, he orders and expects everybody to listen, all vampires are the same.
' No ' I say more forcefully. He looks shocked at my outburst. Probably because nobody's ever said no to him and me being a human.
Before he can say anything else, Alice intervenes.
' Please, please ' and the she pouts.
I groan. ' Fine ' I reply giving in.
' Yay ' Alice shouts clapping her hands. I sigh as I follow them.
Why did I ever come back to Forks?
