Chapter 10

We reach the horses in less than a minute and I was already planning on how to get out from going with the vamps.

'There's not enough horses.' I say automatically noticing there were only two.

'You can ride with Emmett and Ali-bug can ride with me.' He replies sending a smile to Alice.

'No' I say. Jasper turns to me angrily; I think I'm really testing his boundaries. But I don't back down I'm not afraid of some bloodsuckers.

But before he can say anything I carry on 'I can just walk'

'You're going to walk' replies Jasper with his eyebrows raised.

Okay it sounded better in my head.

It makes me want to punch him. Probably hurt myself.

I crouch down to Alice's level 'How about this, you go with them I'll – I'll come later.'

Alice scrunches up her face in concentration debating what I said.

'Okay' she says slowly, 'Promise?'

I nod my head at her words. At least I have time to prepare before I go straight to vamp central.

'Just ask for me' adds on Jasper.

I wave Alice off as she heads to the castle with Emmett and Jasper

I breathe a sigh of relief as they disappear off into the distance.

I still hadn't gone to visit Alice and I felt terrible especially since I promised her.

I can't let her down.

I sigh as I grab my jacket and head out towards the castle. I pray it's a quick visit but with my luck I doubt it.

...

I reach the castle doors and take a deep breath as I prepare to knock.

Suddenly the door is flung open; I see a hand before I'm dragged inside.

I immediately panic.

'We've been expecting you!' She practically screamed in my face.

'Wh-what?' I stuttered, trying to regain my balance.

'But you're late!' She carried on ignoring my words.

She grabbed my arm again and pushed me towards double doors.

It was the kitchen and it was hectic there was food everywhere and people running about and what looked like blood in cups.

I turned my head away in disgust.

'Here' she shouts handing me an apron.

I'm so confused.

'You're the new maid?' she asks questioningly as she sees my puzzled expression.

'You know' she adds 'for Prince Edward's wedding.'

Before I can reply the door is flung open causing everybody in the room to be silent.

I turn around face to face with a vampire.

She looks at me with disgust, my anger flares.

The women besides me bows low 'How can I help you Lady Jessica?'

'I need to make sure everything's ready for mine and Prince Edward's wedding.'

'All will be fine' replies the woman.

'It better be' she replies before walking out of the room.

I hand the apron back to the women 'I'm not a maid, I'm here to see Alice, they're expecting me.'

'What is your name she asks suspiciously?'

Before I can reply somebody screams 'EVERYBODY POSITIONS THE WEDDING IS ABOUT TO COMMENCE!'

'Wait here' she commands before leaving the room.

10 minutes later ..

I can't take it anymore I have to see Alice now.

I push open a different set of double doors and walk inside. I'm immediately bombarded with different scents of flowers. The room is absolutely stunning. I gaze in awe.

I glance at Jessica as she says I do with a look of smug happiness like she's won something.

I look at Prince Edward. Wow he's – he's beautiful with copper-bronze hair and an angular jaw. I feel the need to look into his eyes as if something terrible is going to happen if I don't.

I realise I'm gaping at him so I look away.

Just as Prince Edward is about to say I do and seal the wedding off with a kiss, I hear my name being screamed by Alice.

'BELLA'

Suddenly hundred's of pairs of eyes are staring at me.

I feel the blush forming as I gaze at all the faces and then my eyes land on Prince Edward's and my brown ones meet his golden eyes, mesmerizing.

A/N – Finally Edward meets Bella.. I know you've been waiting for this chapter.. Hope I didn't disappoint.
