((A/n: Ah! I just love to write and enjoy how much people love to read the stories I write! I'm going to continue doing such things as I get to college...if I get to college...*sulks at a corner* Stupid me not putting down my SSN *kicks a tree and it falls over* Remember kids, never do something that stupid, alright? Okay. Anyways, how are you guys loving Haruka. I would have put down a Spanish name since Haruka's dad did marry a woman from the latin countries. I wanted this to be a little different than the stories I've seen on this site, you know?

HS: Finally! But seriously, why didn't you put a spanish name for me or something European? I always liked the name "Karl".

KAS: That's a boy's name. -.-

HS: It's still a good name though. Aren't you suppose to do a disclaimer?

KAS: Oh that's right! Thanks for reminding me!

I don't own OHSHC or the characters. I only own my characters (Haruka, Shou, Estella, Sara, Reiji). I also don't own Roderich Edelstein - he belongs to Hetalia/Himaruya-sama!

Enjoy the story!))

Chapter 3 - Meeting the Host Club!

I got robbed.

No, not like someone took my purse and money or anything like that. No, far from it. I got robbed of my music sheets that had a very important song that I wanted to finish today and yet I wanted to be the nice and polite person to someone that my father and uncle warned me about before I came here.

Tamaki Suoh robbed me of my song! That wanker! If he ever comes over here and has the song all ruined, I'm going to kick him in the arse!

Well, hello. I'm Haruka Shiraga, I'm the only daughter and the youngest of my family who reside in a manor just outside of Tokyo. Our family is not crazy rich like the Suohs, but we're rich and all because of the rare talent of music my Dad, Shou Shiraga, has. Well, we were well off before dad got rich of being a famous pianist and all, but barely any people noticed us and we didn't care much about it.

I came back from London just a few weeks ago and in that time, I told my family that I wanted to attend school here in Japan to get my mind off things and get into a new atmosphere - spent my entire school life up until now studying in London. They only agreed so long as I found a place to live, which was at Uncle Roderich's manor and he teaches at the school they choose for me: Ouran Academy.

What do I do? Like dad, I'm a professional pianist and composer. People tell me that it wouldn't surprise them that I'd end up like him when I get to a right age and time to follow my dad's footsteps. I don't mind too much, but I'm not really to happy about it.

So, where am I now? I'm at Ouran Academy after school because I'm looking for Tamaki Suoh. Yes, Tamaki Suoh, the little thief that took my music sheets and hasn't bothered to give them back to me like I have told him to earlier this week. This week, I've made a couple of friends like Haruhi Fujioka from my own class and several other's in my other elective classes, especially in music. Enought of that, my mind is focused on punishing that thief! Tamaki Suoh just happens to be the Chairman of Ouran's son and the Chairman is the same man that dad told me about in his stories back when he was around my age. Dad told me that they were the best of friends all through his school life here in Japan until he went to America to attend Juliard. They never lost touch, but sometimes when I hear dad talk about the Chairman or even hears about him, I feel like he just tenses up and is depressed. Maybe the Chairman had done something real stupid that scared poor dad, I don't know. He just feels like the whole world just ended and became...empty.

"Damn bastard, not returning my music sheets!" I muttered profusely and stomped my way around the entire school to look for any sign of Tamaki and yet there was no sign until I stumbled onto some girls headed in the opposite direction I was headed and they were saying,

"I hope my reservation is still on hold! I can't wait to talk to Tamaki again."

"Wow, Tamaki? Wouldn't you prefer Mori though?"

"You girls are both wrong. Kyoya obviously should be the one-" I didn't listen to what they were talking about because I had seething rage toward the stupid blonde Suoh. Because I wanted to confront this guy head on, I followed the girls that were on their way to see him, but I made sure that I wouldn't be seen whatsoever by anyone that I had to keep hidden. I was pretty sure no one saw me, but how are you not going to notice a girl with long wavy black hair and blue eyes that was wearing the yellow girls uniform that made me feel the more lady like than I should feel. Yeah, I like this uniform, it was cute. Don't make fun of it!

Quickly and quietly as I could, I followed the girls to the top floor, south hall of the school until they have stopped in front of a door that had a sign up above it. It was the third music room that was abandoned. Well, it really would be abandoned because the girls did enter the room because Tamaki was said to be there and some other chaps and girls. I didn't want to rush into that room so quickly because I was still blinded by rage and fury that I was thinking of ways to kick Suoh in his arse [1]! Some of my thoughts may have been quite illegal, but I'm pretty sure everyone has been through all of this. I swiftly made my way to the double doors that I had my hands on both handles and quickly opened them. Nothing could have prepared me to what happened next - the doors were opened and all that I could have seen within a mile ahead was blocked by a bright light that had background music that sounded like chimes or anything that sounded familiar to them. As if that wasn't anything, at least thousands of rose petals started flying at my directions anti-clockwise [2] and I didn't even realize that I had my mouth wide open until I started coughing and choking on one rose petal - how much of a git [3] can I get?!

The surprises didn't stop there, unfortunately. Seven shadow figures appeared in the distance of my view.

"Welcome." They all said in unison while I just kept or at least tried, a neutral face. But, to those that know me very well, you knew that I was confused and everything around me was just a load of bollocks! [4]

'Bloody nora! [5] What is going on?!'

"Ah! Haruka, it's you! I'm so glad you came here! I was wondering when you were going to come since I never asked you!" Tamaki, the blonde that was sitting, stood up and walked his way over to me, smiling so freely like a child and his hands were on my shoulders. As he did this, I could feel many stares and glares on my persona; I didn't like this. I wanted to just say something or push the cheeky bastard away from me very forcefully. I did end up pushing him, but not as much as I wanted to.

Rule #1 of being a Lady - Be gentle, be kind and be a considerate woman and never rude.

I can only follow such a rule in front of people that I really need to make an impression and I don't want to give people a bad name at me.

"I only came to get what you have 'borrowed', Tamaki-senpai." I smiled and motioned toward a familar pile of music sheets on a coffee table not too far away from me and he followed the direction of where I was looking. It took him a good while before he realized what I was talking about and hurried over to get it for me.

"Dear me, I'm truly sorry! I was showing the ladies and my friends at the host club how beautifuly written your song was. Please forgive me for not returning it to you sooner." He said to me and I guess I forgave him. I said it was fine and that people tend to forget- that was my quick reply because I had a to hurry on home and practice this new piece. However, life must have hated me or God was punishing me for cheesing him off in a past life or something because a hand held onto my arm and pulled me back a little too harshly and when I looked back, I saw one of the most cutest people ever. He was blonde just like the Tamaki bloke and he even had flowers all around him. Are we in some kind of anime?

"Ruka-chan! Ruka-chan! Do you really play the piano? Can we hear you play?" He asked me so cutely that I couldn't refuse, but I had to be strong!

"I don't know. Who are you anyways, love?" I asked kindly when I knelt to his height, smiling softly. He giggled and looked up to his tall dark haired mate [6] behind him who just nodded his head at me, quietly saying "hello" to me.

"Did you hear that Takashi? She called me 'Love'! What a cute accent you have Ruka-chan!" He told me and I couldn't help, but chuckle, covering my mouth with my hand to block out my smile from a lot of people. "I'm Mitsukuni Haninozuka, but call me Honey!" He exclaimed.

"That's jolly good for me and I do get that a lot, Honey-senpai. I was raised in England for some parts of my life after all."

"England? That explains the accent." Another voice said and it came from behind me.

"It also explains the eye color. Blue isn't a very common color here in Japan." Said the same voice, but it was softer this time than last time. Turns out, the voices belonged to twins. Shite [7]. The twin that spoke last, I think, took my chin and made me look into his own auburn coloured eyes so that's how he could tell how my eyes looked like.

"They're really pretty though." They said in unison that only twin can do perfectly.

"Hikaru. Kaoru. Please unhand Miss Shiraga, if you will." Hopefully it's the last new voice I get to hear because it came from a dark haired bloke who wore glasses and a black notebook in his hands. If he didn't look up, I wouldn't have known he had grey coloured eyes. Also, I wouldn't have seen the devil's smile if he hadn't looked up and then show me a similar copy of the composition that I've written.

"It would be unfortunate for you to leave with a copy of your original work, Miss Shiraga. I have many aquaintances that would love to claim this as their own." HE COPIED MY WORK!? THAT GIT! AND HE'S THEATNING TO SELL THEM TO SOMEONE!?

"Wha-!"

"There is a way to get it back though. Just become the Host Club's musician."

Come again?

"What a great idea, mommy dearest! Haruka, you've shown me how well you compose! Show me how well you play!" Before I could even say anything, which I had a lot to say, Tamaki was already pushing me to the piano bench up on this little stage in the room that I wondered how I never noticed it. Everyone, even the girls that I just noticed were here, waited eagerly for me to play. Haruhi, whom I noticed was in the crowd giving me a sympathetic look, mouthed an "I'm sorry. Should have warned you". So, this was that Tamaki bloke's plan, huh?

"What are you waiting for, Ruka-chan? Play the piano." Honey-senpai said to me as he was on Takashi's shoulders. See, here's the one problem of my composition...IT'S FOR VIOLIN!

"There's a problem, gents." I said.

"What is it?"

"Can't you tell? I've written this piece for violin only and I need a violin to play this."

"Then adapt it to piano then. We don't really have a violin in the room despite it being a music room after all."

Alright, if they want me to play, I shall play for them! I nodded my head that I was ready and after that everyone silenced themselves so they would be able to hear what I was going to play.

"1..for luck...2...for the soul...3...for the smiles." I whispered to myself and tapped on the beginning keys, starting off slow and building my way up to make it sound cheerful and just like...life.

Joe Hisaishi - Merry Go Round of Life (How'ls Moving Castle OST)

When I press each white and black key, I think of all the sadness and happiness that I've gone through to be privaliged to play such a instrument. I stop thinking about all the harsh lesson on just playing Vivaldi or any other composer because my greatest wish is to just compose my own songs and how will I be able to do that if I just keep playing the song's Dad wants me to. I want to play songs that uplift people into saying "Your songs are the reason I want to continue on" or "Your music has gotten me through some tough moments in life". I want people to feel relax and make them feel this passion I have for music!

'Where do you plan on studying composition after high school Haruka? Are you going to choose Juliard like your father?'

'Not really? I'm going to Vienna and if I'm lucky, I'll go during high school to study abroad.'

I'm father's daughter and I have his gift, but I do not want to be just like him.

After I had finished the piece, I looked over to the group and saw them clapping and saying that I was amazing. Tamaki was the first one to walk over to me after the song finished and he also had his arm around my shoulders.

"Ladies and gentlemen, you have heard it here! Starting tomorrow, Haruka Shiraga will be the Host Club's musician!"

I never signed up for this. I never signed up for this! For my dream to study in Vienna, this was not part of the plan...

((A/n: HEY EVERYONE! I'm back and this is the third chapter! WHOO! So, how do you like Haruka? I'll try my best to not make her sound too Mary Sue or something.

HS: I sound like the female version of Dr. Jekylle and Mr. Hyde. -.-

KAS: Yeah, but a cute Dr. Jekylle and Mr. Hyde. ^^

KO: You haven't properly introduced me in the story Kaiser.

KAS and HS: Oh shut up! Just give the list of translations!

KO: *doesn't say anything and hands over the list*

[1] - Arse - Ass

[2] - Anti-clockwise - Counter clockwise

[3] - Git - The best I can do is 'Idiot'.

[4] - Bollocks - It means testicles, but is typically used to describe something unpleasant.

[5] - Bloody Nora - Bloody is a very useful swear word, but the phrase is mostly used as an exclaimation of surprise or emphasise anything.

[6] - Mate - another word for friend, buddy, ect.

[7] - Shite - It's Sh*t. The polite version. Yes, children, there's a polite version of the word.

So, what do you guys think? Is it alright? Do you guys want to read more? Well, if you review, the chapers will come by faster ^^

HS: is that blackmail?

KO: I'm afraid so. She's been aquainted with me for some time now.

KAS: That's not true! Clear off! I'm not dealing with this! Anyways, please review people! We'll see you in the next chapter!))
