HS: ! U-u-uncle!?

KAS: *does that screen swipe thing to reveal a new background and stuff* I don't own Kyoya Ootori, the Ouran Host Club, Ouran High School Host Club, songs of anime and artists and other mentioned characters from other animes, they are owned by their respected owners (Bisco Hatori, Hidekei Himaruya, Joe Hisashi, etc.)! Chapter 3 - She's Beauty, she's Grace, she'll Punch you in the Face!

(Joe Hisashi - Merry Go Round of Life/Howl's Moving Castle OST)

'Look! Here she comes! Haruka Shiraga!'

'It's Shou Shiraga's puppet!'

'She can't do anything without her father.'

'Just as a robot that does as it's told.'

'She's some tart from that can't do anything on her own.'

'She barely shows any emotion! Where the bloody hell is she?'

'I beat she thinks she's better than all of us just cause she's a prodigy!'

Let's all face just say it, I'm terribly doomed. This wasn't suppose to happen as I came to Ouran; my school life in Japan was simulated to be a peaceful and slow life. I shouldn't not be here fooling around like Uncle and Dad told me. Why do I even listen to them you ask? Let's just say I'm not too responsible as them to keep my whole lifestyle clean. I'm sometimes surprised that I have lived this long the way I have lived on my own at that private boarding school in London. I really shouldn't be saying such things in my mind because I needed to focus on this song that I'm playing during my lunch period; it's one of the few moments I have to myself and not have anyone else look at me like I'm some sort of genius and they won't interrupt me - saying things that will distract me and make me noncompetative.

"Haruka, there you are!" The doors to the music classroom that Uncle taught flew opened there was my uncle's image, smiling and walking his way toward me to marvel at how fast and delicately I play with the piano. From the corner of my eye, I saw his eyes closed and his lips formed a peaceful smile that I only see when he eats some of Aunt Ren's cooking or when he hears music playing and it's a peaceful day. When I finished the composition, he nodded his head and clapped, taking my composition and looked at it carefully.

"You wrote this?" He asked me and I responded with a nod.

"It's no wonder you're such a prodigy. If only your father would let you play on your own instead of competing." Uncle is a nice bloke. He understood what I was wanting to do and in secret, he would teach me more and not make me practice all those classical pieces even though he does play a lot of Chopin, Beethoven, ect.

"Thank you Uncle. Say, have you heard from my brothers?" I asked quietly while I was picking up my things and delicately placed my composition in a folder I know it would be safe in. Uncle Roderich looked me with his eyes and nodded. In case you guys are curious, I have five brothers. From oldest to youngest: Natsu, Yuuki, Arata, Fuyu and Ikuto. Natsu is an engineer and really good at what he does and soon to be married to an actress, Yuuki is an artist living in Seoul, South Korea and in the process of making an art exhibition in the city, Arata owns a four star restaurant in Paris and several other countries like the US, Germany, and Spain, Fuyu is a Chief Investigator (translation: top class detective that can kick arse) who got recommended to the Interpol, and Ikuto is a medical student studying abroad in America right now.

"Ikuto sends his love and also a packet full of American goods that you might like. Yuuki also sends some Korean goods that you might like. Fuyu said that he's too busy right now in a mission in Germany, but he does send his regards. Arata has send you some clothes and Natsu sent you this." Uncle presented me with a letter and a box. I first looked over the letter and read over to what Natsu had intended.

"'Dear Haruka,

I know how much you hate chatting on Skype so that's why I'm communicating with you with this letter. Let me just say how proud and happy I am to know you have come home to Japan after all these years - I can finally be close to my baby sister and Yukiko is really anxious to meet you soon. You heard of her from Mom, yes? She's that famous actress from that drama, Heaven Knows. How I ever met her is still a mystery to me, but I'm glad I'm the one she's marrying.

Is Uncle Roderich's family treating you right? Of course they are but Dad must hate it since uncle's a bit more carefree, huh?

Getting that out of the way, I have enclosed a book for you. It would be an honor for you, Haruka, to be my musician for the wedding and the book has the songs that you probably already know or ones that you have to learn before the day. Knowing you, I know you won't disappoint me. I would have made you the flower girl, but you wouldn't have wanted that anyways.

I'll send you the dress at a later day! Be good and do your best in school!

Sincerely,

Natsu Shiraga'"

"The wedding isn't in five months and already he's asking you to prepare the music, that stupid kid." Uncle muttered in amusement, taking the letter and putting it in one of his inside pockets.

"Speaking of stupid, I heard you joined the Ouran Host Club that Mr. Suoh's son formed." He once again said it in amusement. Sometimes, Uncle liked messing with Dad about how he invited Mr. Suoh to dinner at the manor and many other things that's just like those two. I get the feeling that Uncle enjoys taking pleasure in other peoples misfortune, mostly Dad's since most of his youth was robbed by "that damn Yuzuru bastard". I don't know what he's complaining about, he's still pretty young to me. He should be considerate that he's that young than what I've seen in England. He's 49 and he looks 29 - stop overreacting Dad.

"More like forced. I'll have them trialed then put in Her Majesty's Pleasure []!" I yelled at the mention of the Host club. What is a host club anyways and what in bloody hell did Tamaki eat to get such an idea like that?! Probably that stupid french frogs meals at his stupid French restaurant. Stupid Arata for being a better chef and more prettier than I am.

"Maybe I should go meet them, Haruka. You'll have to be getting along with them sooner or later and I would really love to see what kind of people these 'handsome' men are." Uncle Roderich smiled very cheerfully unlike his usual stolic and polite self and he even had some kind of ruler in his hands.

"Wait a tick! That's not a ruler! That's a whip! What the bloody kind of aura are you admitting, uncle!?" I yelled, shaking him so he could become his usual self. He still kept his cheerful side on as the dark purple aura around him grew in size.

"This is a horse whip for equestrial purposes and I use it when I ride my mare, Elizabeta. And what aura? You must have been indoors far too long."

'Uncle! You're scaring me!'

~-.~-.~-.~-.~

I wish I could get my 'C-' in Home economics to a "B+". Lately, I've been trying to make my own food that way Aunt Ren wouldn't bother too much and could focus more on Reiji and Uncle. In Home economics, I didn't think that would be a class like that here at Ouran where blokes and birds would cook, we were baking a strawberry cake with Earl Grey tea. Food, I'm not so much an expert on, but as a good ol Brti through and through, I know a thing or two about tea (I have citizenship in Japan and the UK). I got a C- on the cake and an A on the tea. Surprise, surprise. I made the cake for uncle since he didn't seem to remember his packed lunch from aunt today and he ate it all, saying it was good and wanted more and that it could be better.

Before we both knew, classes ended today and it was time for after school clubs and going home; however, I was not one of those people that would get to go home because I'm now a member of the Host club and what's worse, uncle stayed and wanted to meet the so-called host club.

"Where exactly is this host club located, Haruka?" He asked me as we were walking down the many halls of the school.

"It's in the third music room in the south wing. Top floor."

"The abandoned music room?" Out of nowhere like the horse whip from before, he took out a clipboard and began reading over the host clubs files.

"First year students: Haruhi Fujioka - Honours Scholarship student and Host Club member, Class 1-A; Hikaru and Kaoru Hitachiin - Host Club members, Class 1-A. Second year students: Tamaki Suoh - Host Club president, Class 2-A; Kyoya Ootori - Host Club Vice President, Class 2-A. Third Year students: Mitsukuni Haninozuka - Host Club Member, Class 3-A; Takashi Morinozuka - Host Club member, Class 3-A." He said, flipping through their files and stumbled upon the host club report on what they have done so far the past year or something. It was there that he noticed something because he began to chuckle amusingly. "Well, if this isn't interesting."

"What is it, uncle?"

"You know how most clubs belong to a sports union or cultural union and must also have a teacher advisor?"

"I've only been at this school for three days, uncle.'' He shrugged it off and continued.

"The Host club apperently has no teacher advisor, how interesting." Once we both finally arrived to the the place, we opened the door carefully and met with the same reaction as it was on my first time. The bright light shining upon us as if it were to blind us, red English roses flying in the air anti-clockwise, twinkling background music that can be heard in your dreams or some such. Again, the same seven shadowy figures appeared like last time and with the same phrase,

"Welcome."

Once the light dimmed down, the seven shadowy figures were revealed to be the host club and Haruhi.

"Haruka-chan! How nice of you to come by again and with-! Who's this man?" Tamaki said, jumping up from his normal seat and then looked toward my violet-eyed, brown haired with a stubborn strand uncle who seemed to be taking all of this very calmly than what I ever imagined.

"Is he your... father?" He said and uncle just snapped, but he smiled anyways.

"Do you really want to fail that badly, Suoh-kun? This girl happens to be my brothers daughter! She'll be attending school here from now on!" Uncle said and I just stood there watching the whole ordeal and everyone avoided talking to me. All of them except one bloke who had glasses just like uncle.

"I humbly apologize for not introducing myself yesterday. My name's Kyoya Ootori, a second year student." He extended his hand out for me to take it, but instead of mine, uncle intervened and started a glaring contest with him, harsh gripping onto this blokes hand as he kept a calm face while saying "Nice to meet you."

"Haruka Shiraga, sixteen years old. She loves making and drinking tea, composing music and horseback riding. Incidently, one of her brothers is a famous Interpol Chief Investigator of the First Criminal Investigation Section (if there is one). He and his influentual brothers have devoted their lives to their only sister of sixteen years..." Uncle explained as a purple aura was admitting from himself and the whole room and words flying around, saying "Touch her, you die."

"One false move and you'll be off to kingdom come." He finished while I facepalmed.

"You don't say." Kyoya said, still battling off with uncle and never breaking contact until,

"Ruka-chan! You came back!" Honey bounced his way into my arms and started making me twirl around like a ballerina. I couldn't help myself, but smile at his adorableness as he was still clutching onto his little bunny that was pink and cute.

I smiled and knelt down to his eye height and ruffled his hair. He giggled, but then gasped like he just remembered something.

"I have some cake, Ruka-chan! We can all eat them together before the guests arrive!" He said and I had to think for a moment before I said anything. My silence must have made Honey a little sad because his eyes turned a little watery.

"Do you not like cake?" He asked and before I even said anything, uncle had his hand on my head and smiled down at me when I looked up.

"Aren't you hungry, Haruka?" At that moment, my stomach made a grumbling noise and the twins burst laughing, but stopped when they got a look at uncle's death glare.

"I guess." And so, we all sat down as I started pouring some tea for everyone.

"I see, Tamaki 'borrowed' her composition and showed it to the rest of you. Well, Haruka's talent is one in a million, eh? Big-hearted as usual, aren't you Haruka?" Uncle said, chuckling and glad that he gets a second taste of something sweet today and smiling like an idiot when I was making the tea. He's such a sweet tooth.

"Sensei, why are you here again with Haruka-san?" Haruhi said, taking the cup of tea that I just made her. She quickly thanked me and looked back at my uncle.

"As her uncle and teacher, I have every right to know what's going on in this club with her. She's my only niece you know."

"Uncle."

"Besides..." Here it comes, "You guys need a teacher advisor!" He beamed as he stood up tall and mighty. I sweat dropped and tried to get him to sit back down; it worked for a little while only. "Every club has a teacher advisor, but not this one and that can be a bit problamatic, don't you think?" He pulled of that devilsh smile which made me a bit uncomfortable. You're going to ruin my high school life, Uncle!

"Do we really need a teacher advisor?"

"We've been doing well without one."

"But school rules are school rules. Besides, no one has really volenteered for it so...Thank you so much Edelstein-Sensei!" Tamaki exclaimed.

"Why is your uncle a foreigner?" Haruhi asked me.

"He met my aunt when Dad went to Europe," I explained, "How was that tea, by the way?"

"It's delicious." Haruhi and Honey told me. Honey was ready to talk to the tall boy, Mori, I think his name is, but he seemed to be busy looking at my direction. Maybe there was something that caught his eye or something.

'Hey Takashi...eh?' He didn't respond because he was busy looking at Ruka-chan as she was eating some of the cake that was prepared today. Takashi never looks as anyone like that unless necessary, but this look was strange and different than all the other times because this time, he was blushing.

This is...the very first time I see someone falling in love...and my cousin as a matter of fact. Wow, I'm getting a little embarrassed about it.

"So, just ten words a sentence?" Asked one of the twins as he leaned to look at me while I was eating a bit of the cake Honey-senpai gave to me. I looked at him for a brief moment and had to agree with him silently. If only they knew how much trouble I cause with just opening my mouth.

"She's a little shy now that she has to adjust to a new school. I'm sure after the week is over, she'll be fine." Uncle came and saved me from answering. I don't mind talking, but I'm a person that also believes actions speak louder than words.

~-.~-.~-.~-.~

The Host Club is now open for buisness.

'Dad..I have lived fifteen year abroad in high hopes that I've grown up to be the daughter you wanted. You want me to be the perfect daughter that will compete in piano competitions in Europe; you want me to be exactly like you...and I hate you for this. I don't want to be like you. I came to Japan to Ouran so I can never be like you. I'm going to become someone far more different than you.'

"Where will you take me for the summer, Tamaki?" Some bird asked the blonde bloke as she was sipping tea. Tamaki smiled and replied smoothly.

"Wherever you wish to go."

"What's your favourite kind of music?" Another girl asked.

"Whatever you like, I like." What happens is she likes heavy metal, will you like it then?

"I baked a cake today. Will you have a piece?" A girl said and this one had the luck to have Tamaki lean closer to her and he replied smoothly with a lot of roses in the background.

"Only if you feed it to me."

"Oh, Tamaki...gosh." The girl blushed and I just had the sudden chills. This Tamaki bloke reminded me of someone I really wish I could disown.

'My little Angletere [], why are you so cruel to me? I have come a long way from our home country and my adopted country to visit you here! Oh, you baked me a cake? How generous of you!' The French wanker said, taking the cake box and took a quick bite before his eyes widen in glee and said,

'TRES BIEN []!' He exclaimed, throwing his arms up, smiling like an idiot which he is.

'You're only saying that because you're a chef and I'm a rookie. Now, get the hell out of here!'

'But don't you love the hair style I have done for you?'

'Wow, I look just like you - a big douchebag.'

Ah...memories.

"Is this what normally goes on in the club?" I asked to the two people standing beside me, Haruhi and Kyoya, also watching the whole host club work.

"We simply apply our individual talents to meet the needs of our customers. Tamaki, by the way, is our number one draw." Kyoya said as I tried to take all of this seriously. Apparently, seven out of ten girls request this chap. HOW!? A real prince is William or Henry!

"You'll be the one to handle customer song requests for the time being, Miss Shiraga. We provided you with a piano and several other instruments thanks to your uncle." Kyoya told me, giving me the devil's smile as he told me all of this. At least uncle is in this with me until I graduate or until I start studying abroad. I gave a slight nod and started to make my way to the piano that was place on stage and with a lot of instruments I'm able to play.

"Haruka-chan." Some voice called me over and saw that there were girls already lined up to have their song played. The first one I recognised, she's the granddaughter of Kaname Ueda, Misaki Ueda. She smiled at me and showed me the list of the songs I gave out earlier today.

"May I hear Chopin's Nocturne No.2 in E Flat Major, No.9, Op 2?" She asked and I quickly nodded my head and headed over to the piano. Quickly stretching my fingers and adjusting the height of the piano bench or seat, I began playing softly and as must as I could that reminded them of Chopin. Everyone went on as normally while I tried to get as many songs to be played like one wanted the song I played the other day and another one wanted Listz. I actually want to get out of here, but it would be rude to walk out without an explaination - I'm torn between my proper upbringing and what I want to do right now.

((Because I'm lazy and there's really nothing for me to do with Haruka now, I'm going to talk in Third Point of View))

Meanwhile, Roderich was in the sidelines, watching from afar at how Haruka was playing the beloved piece of Chopin - his all time favorite. Some of the music teacher's fans showed up to the room to get a glimpse at the seemingly young man now that he appointed himself as the Host Club's teacher advisor and they also seemed eager to hear the many pieces his niece played so beautiful.

"Sensei, she plays so beautifully. How long has she practiced to play the song?" Asked a girl while Roderich was busy eating a cake and drinking the left over tea Haruka made just a while ago. He glanced back up to Haruka and saw that she never had her eyes leave the piano and she never had to read over any music sheets.

'This girl has the talent many great musicians could only dream about! She's truly the Mozart of this century!' Judges from all around the world marveled at Haruka's performances and her own compositions that seemed to stir many emotions into the judges and the audience alike. Roderich and Shou watched backstage in the same awed trance everyone was in as the five year old girl stepped down to take a bow.

'She's certainly like you in many ways, Shou. The only difference is that she learned how to play more earlier than you did." Roderich chuckled and looked at his brother and friend while Shou never took his eyes off his daughter. They were all in Europe for the compitition Haruka signed up for and now it was all over since she had won.

'Her perfomrances just leave you breathless! Tell me, Mr. Shiraga, what will Haruka do next?' The announcer asked Shou and with no hesitation, Shou replied,

'She'll be competing like me.' Roderich was the only one that didn't seem too happy about this because he knew how well Haruka wrote her own melodies and symphonies. If she competed, she won't ever get the time to write her own compositions like Roderich does and it would be such a waste. However, no one seemed to care at the moment since it was a time for celebration. Maybe Roderich should join in on the celebration for it's the birth of a new musician in the family.

"She's a strong girl. And it takes her about two weeks - six days if she works hard."

"Eh? That fast? That's really impressive."

"It really is."

After Haruka had finished the song piece, she began to study more notes from her music classes that she loved so much and began writing more pieces that her father would never approve of. Shou Shiraga isn't really a kind of person that bothers to write his own compositions, but would rather much play the music of those before him in a way they would be proud of; he is a man that prefers piano competitions over becoming the next Beethoven or something.

"Haruka!" The blue eyed girl looked up from her notes and watched carefully as the blonde bloke Tamaki make his way toward her with a smile that she had learned it always never meant any good.

"Yes?" She weakly said.

"Everyone just simply adores your songs! What other songs can you play?" He asked Haruka while she went through her song list that she carried around in her bag and showed Tamaki one of the many songs she liked from a very well-known movie with her favorite British actress.

"Dawn from the Pride and Prejudice Original Soundtrack?" Questioned Tamaki. "You know all the songs?!" Haruka nodded and began to play again.

Dawn - Pride and Prejudice Original Soundtrack []

The sweet sound of a peaceful morning awakening sounded througout the whole room and it was no surprise that people stared in awe at the beautiful sound the piano and the girl were making together. Tamaki smiled and watched carefully how Haruka's hands swiftly yet gently press the keys needed to play the song. He also noticed how delicate and small the hands were. Speaking of small, he just realized that she was about Honey's height, maybe even shorter - maybe it was due to her sheltered upbringing since she was stripped from playing outside like normal children and played piano or maybe she was weak in health and hasn't properly grown yet. Whichever it was, Tamaki knew she was small.

Mori, along with Honey and a few of their guests, watched how she moved her hands and how her hair slightly moved for its original position and flew along each movement Haruka made. Her black hair seemed to hide her eyes, but it was unmistakable to see the sadness and joy Mori saw deep in her blue eyes. Why was she sad when she played such a beautiful song? Why was sadness there with joy?

Kyoya even seemed to notice this feeling with just the sound of the piano. The bispectacled boy was simply doing more research on Haruka when he heard the new song being played. He felt a sudden urge to stop what he was doing and simply hear the rest of the song. Kyoya had one question and one question only to this, who is Haruka Shiraga to awe so many people with one song.

"Whoa! Haruka-chan you play so beautifully! How long have you played?"

"Can you play any other instruments?"

"How long have you lived in Europe?"

"Your skin is so pale and so soft, did you use something to make it that way?"

"You seem very close to your uncle. Is he the only family member you're close to?" Dozens of girls asked Haruka some questions while she was taking her break. She seemed a little startled that she was being asked some questions; it's her first time being surrounded by other people her age and weren't saying "please teach me how to play" or "I'm so jealous of you" - it gets tiring after a while. To the first question, she held up three fingers - to the confusion of the girl that asked her, but she understood soon enough.

"Since you were three?" Haruka nodded and then turned to the next girl, answered that she could play all those instruments that were on stage.

"I've lived in Europe since I was five. I never been to Japan, my birth country, until now." Haruka quietly said and all the girls just 'Aww'ed' at how shy Haruka was; it was cute. Her cheeks started to turn to a noticable rosy colour and her eyes adverted to the floor. Roderich knew Haruka still acted shy and worriedly to every single new person she met ever since she left the London school she went to before. On the other hand, when she opened her mouth, all hell breaks loose - this said reason shall be shown later in the story.

"You must have really practiced a lot then, Haruka. It's really impressive how much you know." Haruhi said and smiled to the young music prodigy. She did everything in her power not to say much and just as she was about to say something, Tamaki came swooping in and hugged both girls in a bone crushing hug.

"SO CUUUUTTTEE! My little sister is getting along with my little girl!" He yelled and if it weren't for the sudden thought of needing air and her face turning blue, Haruka would have looked at Tamaki strangely.

"Mi'lord, let them go. Can't you see Haruka-chan can't breathe." The twins yelled from across the room and tried helping the girls once Tamaki let them go. Haruka recovered quickly and hid behind one of the twins, clenching tightly onto the jacket Kaoru had on.

"There. You see? You scared her, Mi'lord."

"I didn't mean to scare her! She was so adorable, I couldn't help myself!" Tamaki yelled in fury at the twins. Meanwhile as this was happening, a pair of brown eyes watched the scene in anger - the familiar glint of jealousy obvious to the naked eye.

Haruka walked quietly around the music department to find her missing bag that had her Harry Potter Nine and three quarters red wallet and her newly written music sheets. It had disappeared just as she was heading to the lunch room, but she decided to turn back since she forgot her wallet. She had decided to look around everywhere in the department to where she had been, but to no avail. As she was about to quit, she glanced out the window and saw the red wallet with gold-coloured engravements and the black satchel bag she bought recently. Worry soon rang around her and went into a sprint to head down the fountain where she had seen her belongings all cluttered up and smugged due to the water. Haruka ran with her hair flowing behind her to which blinded her vision and run into another person that was in the path. The person Haruka had run into had a familiar face with the same smile plastered on, but it never admitted the warmth from before.

"Haruka Shiraga, why in such a hurry?" The person asked in an amused tone, but Haruka never responded and never took her eyes off the person. The person continued to talk as Haruka kept silent.

"It must feel so refreshing to always have great company that you seem to want more, attention whore. That glamourous life must soon come to an end one of these days." She left as she chuckled while Haruka stood there unfazed, but surprised as she then ran down toward the fountain to retrieve her belongings.

One of the many belongings that Haruka treasured more were her music sheets written by her for she practiced in secret as many times as she could to maybe one day surprise her father that she doesn't want to compete anymore, but to become a true composer...a musician that inspires many more to create a beautiful melody...she wants to play the instruments she loves the way she really wants to.

Her dress was tied up high enough to not get it wet from the water; she removed her mary janes and white socks; the sleeves were rolled up to her elbow if possible and searched the shallow fountain for anything else that she hadn't retreive yet.

'It's nothing I haven't experienced before.' She thought quietly and so preoccupied that she didn't hear footsteps pass by from a distance.

Kyoya was simply passing by, on his way to get ready to go to his next class when he heard water splashes coming from up ahead and he would be lying if he said he wasn't surprised to see the young music prodigy bent over in the fountain with her hair tied up in a messy bun and her skirt tied up high enough to not get it wet.

He watched silently as the girl stood up and in her hands was a red flap wallet with gold inscriptions on the front of it and carefully got out of the fountain with her dress now flowing and resting down like before - same with her hair. Her sleeves were rolled down and properly buttoned like she's done nothing out of character. It was until then that Kyoya had noticed she wasn't wearing her socks or shoes during this search or the smile that she wore when Haruka finally noticed the megane from where she was. Kyoya looked and saw that she put up a hand for him to not say anything and she left without another word uttered.

'Just what kind of person is she?' He asked himself and continued his way before this unexpected interruption.

Apparently, Haruka wasn't the only one that seemed to be bullied and she had witnessed it herself because she was just walking by the same place her belongings were thrown and saw Haruhi in the fountain, looking for her things and then Tamaki showed up to help her - that raised a little respect for the blonde to Haruka. Her blue eyes watched carefully and read the lips of the girl that requested her...acquaintance and hadn't even bothered to pay attention to her guest until she being called.

"What are you looking at, Haruka?" Misaki asked curriously.

"Nothing," Haruka said softly. "Nothing at all."

"Well, no matter. I'm glad I'm able to talk to you. Because I really enjoy your company, I-" Misaki wasn't able to finish her sentence because a loud crash echoed through the whole room and Haruka turned to see Haruhi's guest underneath Haruhi as she yelled.

"Help! Someone help! Haruhi just assulted me! Please, someone help! Teach this commoner a lesson!" The girl yelled and it went on like that until the Hitachiin twin poured water on the two. Everything seemed to be in favour of the girl until,

"I'm disappointed in you...you threw Haruhi's bag in the water didn't you?" Tamaki asked the girl and she just went into denial until Kyoya threw her some photos of her doing the crime.

"Did you take us for blind fools who wouldn't notice your shenanigans? We have all kinds of pictures of you sulking about." He said and she was still trying to act innocent until the very end where she went to convince Tamaki, but it was futile. She ended up being barred from the Host club and ran out the room crying. In a way, Haruka did feel sorry for her, but what good would she do if she befriended her?

"How horrible. To do such things to Haruhi-kun..." Misaki said from all the excitment that had happened just now, but it wasn't over. Haruka's blue eyes looked up to the brown ones, but they didn't held the shining warmth from before, they held a cold and distant look - her mouth opened and what she said next shocked everyone, even the great 'Shadow King' himself.

"I wouldn't say such things, you ill-mannered wench." She said while the cup of tea was just touching her bottom lip. Everyone stopped and looked on over to Haruka's little table where the two girls were at and Misaki stared.

"W-w-what d-d-do you mean, Haruka? I'm afraid I don't know what you're talking about." Misaki said, but Haruka didn't seemed convinced and reached into her bag to pull out several photo's of Misaki throwing Haruka's things into the fountain. She looked in horror while Haruka seemed calm and still waiting for a good response from her companion at the moment.

"It's really scary being a woman, isn't it? Always competing with one another because the other is better." Haruka smiled coldly with one hand resting on her cheek and watched in amusement how speechless Misaki was; it was even more entertaining how quiet the room got when she finally spoke more than the occasional polite sentence. "If you think I acted like a shy and cute person to attrack attention, then that's a load of bollocks. Every year, it surprises me how unlogical women like you can get."

One witty remark after another, Misaki couldn't take enough and stood up.

"Acting all high and mighty, aren't you? You think you're so great because of what you've done? I actually pity you because you're a slave to your father; you can't do anything on your own!"

...

...

Misaki actually thought she had gotten to Haruka when only, Haruka seemed to smile back.

"True, but at least I've done a lot more when I was five years old, Misaki Ueda. You just went to Ouran Elementary and went along your little innocent life doing nothing, but be a poster child for being an angelic child."

When Haruka Shiraga opens her mouth and angered enough, she just decides to let all hell break loose. No longer is she the poster child of good behavior and kindness, but she becomes harsh and critical and everyone is seeing it for the first time.

"I-if you think the others will believe you, forget it! I've been here much longer than you have while you've only been here for two weeks! Who's going to believe you?! You're alone! You're...! You're worthless! Emotionless!"

'Who's going to come for you? Huh?! Ya' worthless tart! No one likes smart arses like ya here!'

'Emotionless bitch. You come here and swagger around like you own the place...go back to Japan.'

'Why don't we have the wee lass swim for a bit?'

Harsh memories from her old school and her tormenters came all rushing back as that little sentence triggered a lot of eventful happenings that Haruka had her hands covering her ears, but she recovered just as soon Misaki verbally attacked again. With her mouth open, she was just about to say something when a tall figure stood behind the young prodigy and Honey, with his Usa-chan, climbed down his cousins shoulders and looked at Misaki with a warm yet frightened look - like a sad puppy that didn't want to see violence happen in front of him.

"That's not true," He said as he began to smile warmly. "Ruka-chan's never alone. She now has Takashi and I. We may not have known each other for long, but she's a sweet person. We love Ruka-chan." He finished and Haruka stared down at the short third year that just stood up for her. Mori gently smiled down at Haruka, patted her head to assure her everything was all right.

'Oi! You wankers better leave this girl alone!' A blonde haired boy rushed toward the lot and started kicking and punching back and yelled many profanities and curses at their retreating forms while the blue eyed girl that was being bullied looked up to her savior, but she was being very careful because there were incidents where people would try to be nice to her and then dump her somewhere when they had no use for her anymore. This person seemed to be different as he had his hand outstretched and there was turly a worried look on his face. His kind green eyes were something Haruka would never forget...about her first love...

'Are you alright, love? You're covered in brusies. Here, I'll carry you to the infirmiry.' The boy said and carried the girl bridal style like she didn't weight anything. 'Oh. I'm Arthur by the way. Arthur Kirkland.'

"Besides, these pictures seem like the real thing. Haruka hasn't had real experience with photoshops." The twins appeared and were looking at the pictures that Haruka had taken. They should know if their photoshopped because they're pretty good at that stuff. Tamaki then stepped up and Misaki tried to persuade him to believe her, but it was futile.

"You're a really beautiful woman, Misaki, but you're heart is not. You had tried to smear a member, so therefore, you are hereby barred from the club henceforth." He said and Misaki had ran out the room like Ayanokoji except Haruka acted fast and grabbed her enemy's wrist. Misaki was angry and wanted nothing more than to rip Haruka from her person and say much cruel things, but Haruka looked on to the girl like she was an old friend.

"I hope you can forgive me about what I have said to you just as I forgive you for what you had done to me." Haruka said and this just angered Misaki and reawakened her pride as she threw back Haruka's grip on her wrist and started walking away from the room.

"There's no way I'm going to forgive you. Take you and your stupid friends down with you!" She said and disappeared down the hallway.

"That's two customers lost due to our new members recklessness..." Kyoya said as he was punching in numbers after all that happened and while Haruhi was getting changed from her wet uniform and Haruka's uncle, Roderich, was looking through a newspaper that he'd recently got today and drank tea. Haruka was currently being questioned by the other host club members.

"You have such a mouth young lady!" Tamaki scolded, but Haruka shrugged it out and yet felt a little sorry for causing this much trouble.

"I come from the country of not only tea and well-manners, but dubstep and the Beetles." She shot back, "I hate it when other countries think about us Brits as only tea drinkers and people with crooked teeth."

"I wasn't saying that. I was...just surprised you're not as shy as you were at first."

"They all say that. I kept my mouth shut and had my words to a minimum since there was no need to waste my breath."

Tamaki dropped the conversation and went on to give some towels to Haruhi while Honey and Haruka were talking with each other as Uncle Roderich and Kyoya shared a conversation.

"I would have assumed you'd jump right into the situation, Edelstein-sensei. She's your only niece, after all." Kyoya said and Roderich just smirked with the fork touching his lips.

"True. But I have solemly sweared I would never interfere with any of her fights so long as they don't take it far; she has learned to fend for herself for a long time that it would seem unnatural to someone her age and has matured more faster than most of her peers." Roderich knew what he was talking about because he has heard it all from Haruka herself that day he came to visit and saw her and her friends sitting at a lonely table far away from the rest of the crowd and he saw clearly that his niece was about ready to cry and the bruises on her arms and face were clear signs she had been assulted by various people. During his stay at London and watching over her, he noticed new bruises appear and watched some people try to pick on her and her friends walk around her in a protective circle.

When he went back to Japan, he immediatly told Shou, but he shrugged it off as teasing and that it will die out soon. Roderich couldn't take much of this so he pulled a few strings to get Haruka out of that school and come to Japan for high school.

"I would have expected you would've done the same thing, Ootori-kun." Kyoya stopped writing for a moment, but ignored the small pain aching around his chest. Maybe it was just something small. One thing was for certain, he felt angred when the tall third helped out the young prodigy.

A yelled echoed through the room and the remaining host club members and Roderich walked back to the changing room and saw the blonde Host club president silently thrash around and yell with a red face as the curtain was pushed and there standing was Haruhi Fujioka in the Ouran girls yellow uniform. Again, Tamaki yelled with a red face.

"I was wondering when you were going to figure it out." said Kyoya. He was the first one of the host club to figure out Haruhi was a girl.

"Oh yeah." said the twins and the group were the ones that realized along the way.

"It's sad how a gentleman like yourelf can't distinct a male from a female, right Haruka?" Roderich said. He's probably one of the only teachers that knew the brunette was a girl. Haruka nodded in agreementwith her arms crossed.

"It was clearly obvious. I was trying not to laugh loudly whenever a girl said 'Haruhi-kun'." Haruka commented harshly while the blush on Tamaki's face deepened it's colour as Haruhi commented on his coolness. The young prodigy smiled when she had the idea the two in front of her will be getting together sometime in the near future and who knows when that'll happen. Even Kyoya had noticed this and from a quick glance at the corner of his eyes, he watched Haruka smile and then there was that pain again, but in his stomach. He was going to have to research about that later.

"Haruka," Roderich said as he and Haruka were now seated in the car and headed for home. "are you sure you're all right?" He asked and waited for the teenager to respond. It didn't take long, but he got a response.

"No matter where you go, you always find those kind of people everywhere, uncle." Haruka replied softly while she was watching the scenery change constantly. Roderich looked down at Haruka sadly and focused back on the road.

"It's all right, Haruka. Just make what you like. Share your thoughts and feelings into your work; that's how music is supposed to be played and created."

Her uncle was right. Music is a creative art that others should feel by listening. It can be relaxing, it can be exciting, it can be wistful and estatic. Music is just one of the few things that Haruka is able to enjoy now and hopefully for a very long time if her father doesn't get in the way.

'Hey, the chaps and I wanted to throw a farewell party for you. Think of it as good luck while living in Japan. And we're really sorry we've left you alone and at least now, you won't be so lonesome here.'

'Geez Arthur, are you saying that because this is what's best for her? My, such a schoolboy in love. Hahaha.'

'Shut up you twat! If I was going to make a confession, I might as well do it right than here! She deserves better than that!'

'You just admitted your feelings for her, comrade.'

'Ah! N-no! I-I didn't mean to do that Haruka. I'm very sorry.'

'-she's a sweet person. We love Ruka-chan.'

"I guess I won't be lonesome anymore." Haruka thought.
