(March 3rd 2015 – 10:27 AM Earth time – Summoner's Rift, Runeterra)
FIRST BLOOD
The announcer cried out as the first Champion already got slain in the battlefield; this of course attracted the attention of everyone.
¨Claire is down!¨ Caitlyn shouted in the Summoner's head as he was shooting at the red minions, the sound of gold ringing in his ears was the signal that last hits were made.
¨And in less than three minutes?! Whoever is on Mid lane it must be strong to bring Claire down that fast!¨ Matt pointed out while raising his head at the opponents in front of him.
Since the Void didn't have any traditional supports, Malzahar had to make some risky decisions, while having Kog'Maw as their marksman and Vel'Koz as its lane partner it should be enough damage to bring both Matt and Nick down.
The piltovian was aided by the Radiant Dawn every time he missed a minion thanks to the Relic Shield which helped them not stay behind.
¨Watch out!¨ Nick shouted, the Eye of the Void launched a purple energy bolt that was going towards the sheriff but the Solari was able to jump in front of him receiving the damage. Although it wasn't too powerful the skill caused some damage to the support forcing him to kneel, trying to recover his strength.
¨Are you alright?¨ The voice from the ginger was calming her Summoner as he was standing once again, ready to protect Matt.
Nick looked back and saw that his friend was already placing traps in front of the Voidborns, he looked forward and readied the shield creating a solar barrier around him ¨'Tis but a scratch!¨ The support extended his sword at the Mouth of the Abyss and in just a blink he was at the side of the Voidborn with his shield glowing.
When the monster got hit by the enormous shield he got stunned in place without being able to move or see, once the effect disappeared a big projectile was already fired at him. With Vel'Koz unable to protect the marksman he had to back off, leaving the Mouth of the Abyss to die.
¨This is just as easy as in the game! I can already see us destroying the nexus¨ Matt was already convinced that the victory was theirs but even if the Piltover Peacemaker was a lethal shot the Voidborn slowly stood once again, the purple blood coming out of his mouth.
¨TELL NICK TO GET AWAY!¨ Caitlyn cried out but before the pink haired was able to say anything the living corpse of Kog'Maw exploded causing Nick to get pushed away due to the expansive wave from the Icathian Surprise, he landed inside of a bush but even if it was true damage the support was still alive.
¨Nick, you okay?!¨ Matt was trying to look at the inside of the green pasture but he had to focus on the remaining Voidborn who was trying to hit him now that the Solari was out of the way.
¨Leona can stand a few more hits, now you should focus on getting our minion wave towards their tower. It won't be long until their jungler or mid laner comes¨ The sheriff ordered the Summoner who was looking at both the Eye of the Void and the minions who were low enough to get the last hit.
¨You know Cait? I think I should be telling you this¨ Matt shot at another minion, the sound of gold once again inside of his head ¨About yesterday, the reason why I-¨
¨Are we really going to discuss about this right now? Focus on the match, then we can talk about romantic stuff¨
¨I just thought that it was the best-¨ Matt got interrupted when under his feet a small circle appeared and Vel'Koz threw a small energy ball at that circle. Without thinking the Summoner turned backwards and pressed one of the buttons at the side of the rifle causing a net to come out of the cannon, knocking back him towards the Eye of the Void.
¨What are you doing?!¨ Caitlyn yelled, if she was at the side of Matt she would've slapped him already.
¨Can you stop yelling? I already said this was new for-¨ The Summoner got once again interrupted since around his neck one of Vel'Koz tentacles was choking him, when he looked down he was some feet above the ground level.
¨Summoner. Champion. One body, two minds. Must be destroyed for further analysis¨ The grip around Matt's neck was getting tighter, the eye started to glow purple charging another energy bolt.
From the tall bush Leona emerged, jumping with her sword raised over the head. The blade struck down on the tentacle choking the marksman cutting it and making Matt fall to the ground, the Eye of the Void screamed in pain forcing the Plasma Fission to miss. This advantage allowed the pink haired to grab the rifle once again and use another Piltover Peacemaker in the lower part of Vel'Koz which didn't have any type of protection.
The bullet penetrated and killed the Voidborn racking two kills for the piltovian; the Radiant Dawn extended her hand helping him stand back up.
¨You can thank me later¨ Matt mocked at the support as a blue circle appeared around him, with some good gold he was now recalling to get some more damage.
¨Should I remind you that the two kills you got are thanks to me?¨ Nick was also recalling, at the distance they saw that Kog'Maw was already spitting at some minions who were attacking his tower ¨You think we gonna win?¨
¨Keep your morale up! We shouldn't leave any room for doubt¨ Leona was a good source of inspiration during the battlefield, however victory does not come from words only, but from actions as well.
¨I wonder how the others are doing…¨ Matt's voice trailed off as he and nick were teleported back to the spawn point.
AN ENEMY HAS BEEN SLAIN
The Terror of the Void was falling to the ground in front of the Ionian and the Treant. A well-made gank allowed Ralzith to take the kill.
¨Nice work… uh…¨ The Summoner tried to remember the name of the blonde but got distracted as another person came into lane, this one emerged from the ground with a loud screeching ¨Go help Claire at the mid lane, I can handle Rek'Sai¨ The Ionian ordered Marie who moved towards the mid lane through the river. ¨Alright… now for old time's sake¨
The burrower screeched and rushed at full speed, without a good set of items it was hard for the Ionian to deal some good damage to her. Ralzith dodged to the right and the Voidborn just kept running until she stopped and turned towards him once again.
¨We are not in a good condition to keep on fighting, we must return to our base¨ Ralzith chuckled at Irelia's warning, he wanted to keep fighting.
¨Nonsense! If we get another kill we will have the upper hand¨ The Summoner tried to advance but he wasn't controlling Irelia's body anymore, this time it was her who was stepping back to the turret, meanwhile Rek'Sai was killing some minions to push her wave towards the Ionian's tower ¨What are you doing?! We can't go back now, without Cho'Gath here we-¨ Ralzith got interrupted as the tri-bush behind him started to move.
From the green Katarina was running at the side of Ralzith, looking everywhere ¨Keep your guard up¨
¨What are you doing here, the Mid laner will take your tower down if you are here!¨ Ralzith started to hit on the red minions who were bashing on the stone structure.
¨Number one, my sister is their Mid laner¨ After hearing that Ralzith remained stunned, in his head he could hear Irelia gasping ¨Second: last time I saw her she was running towards here, so we must be careful¨
From the river the two Summoners could see two more figures coming, one of them was Cho'Gath, this time he was bigger as he was in the jungle feasting on the monsters, the other one was Liz which still remained a big threat to the group since none knew what most of her abilities do.
¨Now is the best time to retreat…¨ The Will of the Blades muttered, Ralzith was once again in control of the body but even if he wanted to fight the best option was to let the tower to get destroyed.
As the Noxian and Ionian started to go back, beneath them some spikes emerged from the ground, knocking them up and causing some severe damage to both, before they could touch the ground once again Rek'Sai was already under them, preparing to send them up into the air again. In just mere seconds they were heavily injured and Liz hasn't moved an inch just yet, both Champions were in the ground, trying to run away but the little sister walked towards them, preparing her sword to score two more kills for the Void.
¨Liz, listen to me. You are being manipulated. Remember who I am, I am your sister!¨ Claire shouted at her sister trying to knock some sense into her.
¨Sister?¨ She chuckled, her voice echoed just like any other Voidborn ¨My sister left me to die, but Malzahar took care of me. He was like a true father!¨ She raised her sword and prepared to kill Claire once again but it didn't happened.
At the side Ralzith used his weapon to pin the little sister to the tower puncturing her heart and head. ¨WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! IT IS MY SISTER!¨ The noxian cried out seeing as the girl was lying lifeless by the tower.
¨She is not your sister Claire, it is an abomination. Malzahar turned to her into a Void monster; we will turn her human once again, but if you keep living by the fact that the thing over there is your sister, then you will never have the guts to kill her¨ Katarina was trying to control the Summoner, she was right even if she died right now the magic from the Rift would bring her back to life. Whether she would return to her original state after the match was over was something they still didn't know.
Both Cho'Gath and Rek'Sai already stepped away almost unharmed, the body from Liz disappeared from the tower as she already came back to life. Both Summoners started to recall, their minions pushing the enemy wave as they kept fighting towards the enemy tower.
¨Ralzith...¨ Claire muttered attracting the attention from the Ionian ¨…thanks for saving me¨ the assassin smiled as both were sent back to the base.
¨No problem¨ He turned towards the shop dropping the pouch full of coins in front of the Yordle ¨Listen well, if you don't get over the fact that the monster on the other side is not your sister, then we will never win¨
The noxian smiled once again, doing the same thing as Ralzith ¨I know… Kat already told me the same, but I find it hard to understand that she doesn't remember me, or the fact that she thinks Malzahar is like a father to her…¨ She looked down, a sad face on her but the Ionian patted her back drawing once again a smile on her lips.
¨She is being manipulated. Before you know it Liz will be back with us, uh… you…¨ They both chuckled, giving instructions to the shopkeeper on which items they wanted to get, as soon as the two of them were prepared they started to head back to their respective lanes.
¨Am I sensing something more than friendship here?¨ Katarina teased the Summoner.
¨What?! No! Ralzith is not a person I would like to... besides, he and Irelia are together!¨ Claire tried to defend herself as she already went back into lane, Liz was already there looking at the big sister with a grim look on her eyes.
¨It is time for the Death Lotus to blossom…¨ The redhead whispered, it was the time for everyone to have their ultimate abilities already available.
YOUR TURRET HAS BEEN DESTROYED
Back at the Bot lane the duo wasn't able to protect their tower from the waves of minions bashing at the stone structure. They were clearing the wave until their minions could go through.
¨Why didn't you use your spells to kill the minions?! We are now vulnerable to ganks thanks to you!¨ Matt was shouting at the lane partner who got distracted by complaints made by the piltovian Summoner.
¨Thanks to me? I was the person who saved your ass before and not even a `Thank you Nick for giving me those two kills that I needed´ ¨ The black haired tried to imitate the voice of Caitlyn infuriating the marksman.
¨Still, you are acting like an imbecile now because of your own mistakes!¨ Matt stopped focusing on the minions and turned at the Radiant Dawn, missing the minions who were dying in front of him ¨The least you can do is say sorry and keep fighting!¨
¨Sorry?!¨ The Summoner got interrupted as the announcer claimed another kill for the Void and another tower down for the heroes ¨You see? Not only you are missing CS now but you also didn't warned that Kog and Vel are missing! You haven't changed your playstyle ever since. You flame on your teammates on the most stupidest things and forget to focus on the game itself!¨
¨Bullshit! Every fucking time we played I was the one to blame if we lost, even if I was carrying your asses-¨
¨SHUT UP!¨ Both Leona and Caitlyn interrupted this discussion by yelling at them, the two Summoners felt as if the voice from the girls was drilling their ears.
¨He… he started!¨ Matt pointed at the support who was covering his ears.
¨I don't care who started. I will not forgive you if we lose this match, so get moving!¨ The sheriff ordered her Summoner as this one was once again shooting at the minions, when he looked at the left Nick was going through the tri-bush
¨Hey where the fuck you're going?¨
¨Leona suggested that I should go to Mid Lane and help Claire. Don't over extend and kill yourself!¨ Nick's voice was getting quieter as he was leaving the bottom lane.
¨As if I was stupid enough¨ The marksman huffed and kept pushing up until the tower got destroyed ¨There we go, and no one got injured in the process¨
The screeching from Rek'Sai could be heard as the Queen of the Xer'Sai used her ultimate to get fast to the bottom part of the map but she didn't came alone, behind the Summoner one of the minions got engulfed by a red aura, in just a couple of seconds a gigantic Cho'Gath was growling at the tiny sheriff.
¨Don't you stand there! Use your flash and run!¨ The Summoner looked everywhere and saw that the enemy tri-bush was just a few meters away, He closed his eyes focusing on the other side of the wall to escape, when he opened them once again he was not in the same place as before, but unfortunately he was still surrounded by the two Voidborns as he crashed into the wall ¨YOU MISSED FLASH?! I'LL MAKE SURE VI KICKS YOU SO HARD THAT YOU WILL NEED-¨
Cait wasn't able to finish her sentence since the Terror of the Void grabbed the Champion with his red claws, raising it to the point he could see the white of the sheriff's eyes. Without hesitating the Voidborn opened its mouth and threw the piltovian inside as he was slowly closing the mouth, ending with the life of the Champion
YOUR TEAM HAS DESTROYED A TURRET
Thanks to Ralzith being able to control Liz on the top lane and having Kog'Maw and Vel'Koz occupied at the dragon, it gave Claire enough time to destroy the first tier tower in the middle lane while the minions arrived just in time to attack the second one.
¨They need us at the dragon pit, move!¨ Katarina guided the brown haired as she was going through the river bush. Inside of the pit the dragon was observing the four champions fighting at each other, both Leona and Maokai couldn't do anything against the damage coming from both Voidborns.
Claire stood behind the two tanks trying to use them as shields, but their luck was running out, the top laner and the jungler already noticed the fighting that was happening in the river and they were already on the move.
¨We can't fight for the dragon right now, we must keep pushing!¨ Claire suggested as she was trying to focus on the enemy marksman, with just an abyssal scepter and the sorcerer's boots she would be able to destroy the Kog'Maw and hopefully Vel'Koz as well, but having the two most tankiest members of the team with them would make things even harder.
¨No! Nick, drop a ward nearby and follow me, Claire, stay until you can enter¨ Marie looked to the front and rushed at the tanks so they could be delayed a bit more.
The ward started to glow, a blue circle appeared around it and magically Irelia appeared, with the four of them in front of the dragon pit both the Ionian and Solari attacked the tank Champions allowing Claire to be alone with the marksman and the support.
¨Claire, you're up!¨ The Summoner aimed the knife at the Mouth of the Abyss and threw it making it bounce to the big floating eye, she then started to run dodging every projectile that was thrown at her. When Claire was within the range she used the Shunpo skill and landed behind Kog ¨Now, Spin!¨
And the knives started to fly in all directions hitting both Voidborns; the first one to fall was Vel'Koz and allowed the noxian to use her skills once again, and without sweat another combo killed the Mouth of the Abyss. Thankfully Claire stepped back and used Shunpo on Nick to avoid getting hit by the explosive corpse.
The fight against the tanks was almost over, with Cho'Gath already retreating and Rek'Sai escaping through one her tunnels the group managed to win another skirmish and secure a dragon for the team.
¨I was expecting more of a fight you cowards!¨ Irelia shouted at the two Voidborns who were escaping from the river.
¨Let's kill the dragon before they decide to come back¨ Marie suggested, throwing one of the saplings under the dragon ¨We won a teamfight and secured an objective, it would be worth the cost of losing a tower in Top lane¨
YOUR INHIBITOR HAS BEEN DESTROYED
The grim announcement startled the four of them at the dragon pit but none was able to return just in time. The Top towers have been destroyed quite swiftly by the little girl, in front of her Caitlyn was standing trying to hit her but she was too fast.
¨Stop, moving you piece of…¨ Matt wasn't able to control the child but instead of advancing she stood at the entrance of the base, when the Summoner looked back the rest of the team was behind him, ready to attack.
¨You are running out of time Summoners, you will soon be serving my father and justice will be brought upon Runeterra¨ The little sister laughed and from her back some insect wings appeared allowing her to fly away, leaving the destroyed inhibitor behind.
¨She can take down towers like cheese and now she can fly? How broken can that be?!¨ Nick was looking at the abomination getting away as they all tried to kill the minions that were trying to attack the nexus turrets.
¨What is our best option now?¨ Claire finished up the last minions as the blue ones were already advancing.
¨It should be obvious by now…¨ Ralzith muttered, far from the base a great noise was made, it didn't came from Rek'Sai as the creature that made the noise was way too stronger than her, it was originated in the Void but the magic from the Rift trapped the great monster forcing to live in the Field of Justice. A serpent that could kill anyone who dares to fight alone, but those who work as a team may be able to get the blessing from the ruler of the Summoner's Rift.
¨…we must kill Baron Nashor¨
Sorry guys but I can't write an entire League match in a single chapter. So in other words 1 more chapter and yes that will be the last one. If I'm things do go well then the last chapter MIGHT be done by weekend (that is if Writer's Block doesn't gank me)
KyuubiNoPuma: That cliff hanger... Also I wonder what Caitlyn's reaction was when Matt complimented Kat & Claire body. Some ommakes about that would be nice since the end is near yeh? Also Mary, wonder what she's going through and wether her pact with thresh ended?
I don't think Cait minds about Matt's joke. Regarding Marie, the pact is still up, but what will she do once the match is over? That is, if they win of couse ;)
I can imagine writing a teamfight at Baron and the group loses because of the typical Baron throw. But nah, highly doubt it I would do it (yet might write an alternate ending if that happens) Sooooo yeah, one more chapter left... I hope... writing battes and lemons is so hard ;-;
Also as a side note I changed the name of the last chapter.
