Chapter 47: Numb

Miles sighed as he made his way down the hallway to his next class. It was still odd not having Rion next to him, complaining about how their English teacher was out to get her, or that she was just happy to see him. As time went on, Miles started noticing how much she impacted his life and just how much her presence was missed.

Life moved on though. Miles couldn't dwell on the past. There was no changing what happened, no matter how badly he wanted to change it. Rion was gone.

"Hey you."

Miles looked to his side as Leora fell into step beside him. She had a small smile on her face.

"What's up?" Miles asked.

"I was wondering what you were doing today after school," Leora said quickly.

"Nothing, isn't Kyle starting his recording sessions today?" Miles asked.

"Yeah, so you're free?" Leora asked.

"Guess so," Miles replied.

"Good, you're going out with me tonight. I've got plans, dress fairly warm. It'll be outside," Leora said.

"Le I don't-" Miles started.

"Yes you do, don't worry it'll be fun," Leora promised. "Besides Lucas will be there too so Artie might tag along," she said trailing off lost in thought.

"No Caleb?" Miles asked.

"He's working," Leora shrugged, "So what do you say?"

"Ok then," Miles answered. It would be better than going home to mope.

"Great, be ready by five," Leora said quickly. She gave him a hug before taking off.

Miles stood there a moment. He knew Leora was trying to cheer him up, but he needed a little time. He was getting there. Maybe this was what he needed. Some time out with friends having fun. It could be just what he needed.

-We Are-

Cooper yawned as he made his way out of his English class. He was tired and Mina was talking a mile a minute. She was eagerly telling him about Hank learning to count all the way to one hundred.

"That's good Min," Cooper replied.

"Tired?" Mina asked.

"Just a little," Cooper replied. Kenny was keeping him up at nights, but that was to be expected. He was only a few weeks old after all.

"Of course he's tired, he just had a baby," Jace said joining them.

"Yeah, and I gotta get going. I told Adam I'd be home after my last class. He probably is about ready to tear his hair out. Kendall's been crying nonstop and we can't figure out what's wrong," Cooper sighed.

"Maybe he's collicy," Mina said, "if he is, there's not much you can do but let him cry it out. Hank was like that too."

"Kendall said that too," Cooper said.

"You sure you're ok to drive Coop?" Jace asked.

"Yeah, I gotta go," Cooper said. He picked up his pace. Mina and Jace followed him. "Guys I'm fine, two kids really takes it out of you though."

"If you ever need help, I can watch Miri, Hank adores her," Mina offered.

"Me too, Zelly keeps asking about her Mimi," Jace said.

"We could set up a play date with all three of them," Mina said quickly. Jace nodded his head with a smile.

"Thanks guys, I'll keep that in mind," Cooper said nodding his head. He took off towards the parking lot. He had to get going. He still needed to pick Miri up as well.

-We Are-

Kyle practically bounced as he made his way into Rocque Records. He was officially starting his recording sessions today. James and Kendall had sat him down the other night and worked everything out. A contract was formed and signed by all party. Kyle was officially a part of the Rocque Records family.

Kyle was eager to get going, but he was nervous about working with Kendall. He knew what his dad was like. Kendall had his own ideas of how things should go. It was his way or the highway, Kyle had learned that years ago. However, it was a habit Kyle had picked up from him as well. Kyle wasn't afraid to speak his mind. He knew what he wanted and he wasn't going to let anyone tell him otherwise.

Kyle looked at his phone. He was a few minutes early. He knew Kendall was probably working with the guys. That thought made him quicken his pace. He reached the studio and peeked inside. He saw Kendall and a red head watching the guys singing in the booth.

Kyle walked in curious to what they were doing. Kendall turned as the door opened. He smiled and waved Kyle over. He took his headphones off.

"I know I'm early," Kyle said quickly.

"It's ok, here take a listen and tell me what you think," Kendall said grabbing the headphones and holding them out to his son.

"You want my opinion?" Kyle asked.

"Wouldn't have asked if I didn't," Kendall replied.

"You must be Kendall's boy."

Kyle looked to the red headed girl. He recognized her as, Avery, the winner of the contest that Kendall held a few years back.

"And you must be Avery, I'm Kyle," Kyle replied as the guys exited the booth.

"No offense, but aren't you a little young..." Avery started.

"I grew up in Rocque Records. I have an ear for music. Everything I know I learned from my dads, Kelly, and Gustavo," Kyle said.

"He's correct of all my kids he's got the best ear. It's probably why he wants to be a musician so bad," Kendall replied.

"He knows music Av," Jared said stepping in.

"You're only saying that because you're screwing him," Matt said.

"Cause that's what I want to hear," Kendall said making a face.

"Yes not in front of my dad," Kyle face palmed. "A change of subject please?"

"Ok show me what you got," Avery said cutting in.

Kyle took the headphones from Kendall. Kendall cued up the playback. Kyle listened and everyone watched him. He didn't pay them no mind. He listened to the music. Every word rung out to him, he picked it apart in his head. He took the headphones off.

"It's not bad, but dad I've told you before Matt is not a tenor. Give him the lower harmony and you won't be disappointed," Kyle said.

"How do you do that?" Matt asked.

"Like I said before I grew up here. I watched everyone here and been a part of the music scene my whole life. I've picked up a few tricks here and there," Kyle shrugged.

"So do you like the song?" Avery asked.

"It's good, feels like it's being forced into a five part harmony though," Kyle said looking to Kendall.

"She wanted to work with the guys and this may be a total flop. We are testing something out," Kendall replied.

"Scrap it and try something different. This feels more like a duet," Kyle said, "Now I'm not saying don't sing the song with these guys, just don't do this one with them all together like that."

"Ok, then who do you think I should sing it with?" Avery asked.

"Take your pick, you've got four morons ready to go," Kyle said pointing to guys who glared at him. "Don't go with Matt though. His voice is too deep for this song."

"Hey," Matt said.

"Sorry, but it's true," Kyle apologized. "Also I don't think you would want to sing a love song with Noah or Roldy unless you want all those NoRo fans strangling you in your sleep. Trust me I know for a fact that some of their fans are insane."

"Insane?" Roldy asked.

"Yes, you should've seen how bad some of those girls at school freaked when Jared and I broke up. I got death threats because I hurt their 'baby.' It was nuts," Kyle said.

"What?" Jared asked shocked.

"Death threats? Aren't you exaggerating a bit?" Matt asked.

"Not at all right dad," Kyle said looking to Kendall.

"Oh yeah, I was a little worried for a little bit there," Kendall agreed nodding his head.

"I honestly didn't expect people to react the way they did," Jared admitted.

"Ok so you're saying I should do the duet with Jared then?" Avery asked cutting in.

"Oh god no, he's a pain to work with," Kyle said shaking his head.

"You think I'm a pain," Jared asked arching a brow at the blonde.

"Sometimes, but you have your moments," Kyle replied with a smile.

"Gee thanks," Jared said rolling his eyes.

"Happy to help," Kyle replied patting Jared on the shoulder.

"If you don't think I should sing that song with them, who do you think I should," Avery asked knowingly.

"I could help you there," Kyle said stepping up.

"You had this planned from the moment you walked in," Kendall said looking at his son knowingly.

"Since I heard that song," Kyle corrected him. He turned to Avery. "I'm gonna be honest here. I think you are super talented. I was one of the few who helped you win my dad's contest. I would love to work with you if you want." He said.

"Helped me win?" Avery asked.

"He had all of us kids listening to the demos that were sent in. There was like over a thousand entries from across the country. I heard your demo and I knew you were the one. I made my dad really listen to it, and obviously he agreed with me," Kyle replied.

"How old are you?" Avery asked looking at the young blonde.

"Seventeen," Kyle replied. "I was thirteen. I know good music when I hear it."

"Well ok then, you convinced me," Avery said.

"Ok, guys you can go. Avery if you want you can stick around and we can work on this duet then with Kyle," Kendall said.

"Ok, we will see you tomorrow then," Matt said. The four left.

"Ok kid, you can talk the talk, now walk the walk," Avery said pointing to the booth.

"With pleasure," Kyle replied cockily. He strolled into the booth, grabbing the lyric sheet.

-We Are-

Cooper walked into the apartment with Miri balanced on his hip. He had just picked her up from Kendall and James' where Marcie had been watching her. He smiled as he spotted Adam sleeping on the couch. Kenny was in his playpen next to him, sleeping as well.

"Ok Miri, quiet time," Cooper whispered to his daughter, as if she understood him. He set her down and brought her diaper bag over to the counter. He turned and saw Miri over by Adam.

"Baba," she lifted her hand. Cooper jumped and ran over to her, but he was too late. Miri smacked Adam in the face.

Adam jerked away. He looked around confused and saw Miri standing in front of him. He smiled softly.

"Hey baby girl," Adam greeted her. He sat up and took her into his lap. He looked to Cooper and his smile grew.

"Adam I am so sorry, I looked away for a second," Cooper apologized.

"It's ok, I've probably been sleeping too long anyways," Adam replied shrugging. "How was your day little miss. Did you have fun with Marcie?" He asked.

"No."

"Her favorite word," Cooper chuckled. He walked over to the playpen and looked down at his son.

"Don't you ever learn to be defiant," Adam said looking down at his sleep in son.

"Oh please, Miri will teach him how to be just as awful as her," Cooper replied.

Adam sighed and hung his head. "I'm sure she will."

"So how was your day?" Cooper asked.

"It was ok, but I missed you and Kenny," Cooper said sitting down next to Adam. "And this little lady too." He tickled Miri. She laughed and squirmed.

It was moments like this that made it all worth it. Cooper would take the tiredness and achiness, just as long as he got to see Miri's smile, and eventually Kenny's smile as well. These two little people were what made everything worth it. He was sure that Adam felt the same.

-We Are-

Leora walked up to the MItchell's house. She did not bother knocking. She was over here all the time anyways. It didn't matter. She made her way to Miles' bedroom. She knocked on the door. She knew better than to just walk in. The door opened to reveal Miles.

"Ready?" She asked.

"I was ready a half hour ago when you told me you would be over in five minutes," Miles chuckled.

"Sorry, I had to find my purse," Leora shrugged.

"It's ok, so where are we going?" Miles asked as they started for the door.

"It's a surprise," Leora replied. Miles called out that he was going out and that he would be back later. Logan hollered for him to be back by curfew.

Leora grabbed Miles' hand and led him out to her car. They got in and Leora started driving. She kept their destination a secret. Which was odd for Leora, since she was normally so talkative.

"Ok, why are you acting so weird?" Miles asked.

"I promised Lucas I would let it be a surprise," Leora replied. "If I talk, I'll tell you and then Lucas won't be happy."

"So, it's just Lu," Miles laughed.

"A promise is a promise," Leora said quickly.

"Ok fine, this better be amazing," Miles threatened.

"It will be," Leora laughed.

Several long minutes later they arrived at their destination. Miles smiled and chuckled.

"Thanks Le, I haven't been here in forever," Miles said.

"Mini golf is so fun," Leora squealed. She quickly got out of the car and pulled Miles with her. They spotted Lucas and Artie near the entrance. The two greeted them with smiles.

"So you guys ready to lose?" Lucas asked.

"In your dreams bro, I am the best," Miles said.

"Only because Kyle isn't here," Leora replied, "besides boys, we all know that girls rule and boys drool, and I am gonna win," she added.

"You wish," Lucas said.

"You all are dreaming, I'm going to wipe the floor with you," Artie said. The other three looked to him shocked.

"You're on," Leora said pointing at him. The four made their way inside. They got their clubs and balls.

"Alright, Ladies first," Miles said looking to Leora.

"Gladly, watch and learn boys," Leora challenged. She stepped up to the grass. She lined up her shot carefully. She made a hole in one.

"Big whoop, it's the first hole, everyone gets a hole in one," Miles said.

"Then is should be no problem," Leora said giving him a playful shove.

Miles took his shot and missed, making the others laugh. Miles laughed as well. He had been over confident and trying to hard.

"I thought everyone made a hole in one here," Lucas teased his brother.

"Except for me I guess," Miles shrugged.

The four laughed again. They continued on to the next hole after Artie and Lucas took their turns. The trash talk didn't stop. They were all trying to get in eachothers heads, and mess the others up.

Eventually Lucas and Artie moved ahead a bit. Miles didn't mind. He was having fun with Leora anyways. Those two could use some alone time.

"So Le," MIles said as he watched her line her shot up.

"Yeah?" Leora signaled she was listening.

"Thanks for this," Miles said. "I needed this, I needed to get out and stop moping. It won't bring her back."

"I know, besides Kyle is too busy trying to start his music career, so I decided this would be perfect. I ask Lil, Jay and everyone if they wanted to join us, but they all had plans. Lucas was the only one willing to change his plans." Leora said taking her shot.

"Really?" Miles asked.

"Yeah, I guess the others think you're better already, when I know you're not," Leora replied. She turned to face Miles with a smile. "Whenever you're ready I'm listening."

"Not yet," Miles said.

"I get it," Leora said nodding her head.

"Will you two slowpokes hurry up," Lucas called over to them.

"Sorry Lu, I'm working on perfecting my shot so I can beat you," Miles called out to his brother with a smile plastered on his face.

-We Are-

Kyle followed Kendall down the hallway. They were talking about music and Kyle's new duet with Avery. They were leaving Rocque Records. Kyle had deemed today a success, and Kendall had to agree.

"You are going to make a hell of a producer one day," Kendall told his son.

"You think so?" Kyle asked with a small smile.

"Yeah, I mean you learned from me and Gustavo," Kendall said. "What did he used to call you?"

"I was K-pup and he was G-man," Kyle laughed.

"That's right," Kendall laughed as well.

"I'm sorry for earlier though, I didn't mean to overstep like that," Kyle said looking down at his feet.

"It's ok, I would've done the same thing," Kendall replied. He looked over at Kyle with a smile. "You remind me so much of myself when I was your age."

"A lot of people tell me that. They always say I'm just like you," Kyle sighed. It was honestly something he had heard since before he could
remember. Most people only said it because he looked just like Kendall.

"In a lot of ways you are, but at the same time you're not. You are your own person Kyle," Kendall said.

"I know, but as soon as word gets out that in actually working on an album people are gonna freak and say I'm following in your and pops' footsteps," Kyle replied.

"So what, if today was any indication your musical style is your own and it's gonna be amazing," Kendall said.

"You're only saying that because you're my dad and you have to," Kyle said rolling his eyes.

"No I'm not, besides you impressed Avery. She's a hard person to impress. It took her three years to warm up to the guys," Kendall said.

"I was just being myself," Kyle replied.

"That was a ballsy move you pulled there," Kendall said shaking his head. "It worked though."

"I know, but life is not a spectator sport, if watching is all you're gonna do then you're gonna watch your life go by without you," Kyle said simply.

"So you do actually listen to me," Kendall said looking down at his son impressed.

"Yeah I do, I know when to back off too dad. I knew I was pushing it, but I knew it was going to work," Kyle said.

Kendall just smiled. Somewhere along the line Kyle had become a man. It was hard to see sometimes, but it was moments like this that made him realize that he had raised this kid right.

-We Are-

Logan sighed as he fell into a chair in the break room. He rested his head in the table. He was glad to be off his feet for a few minutes at least. He heard the door open behind him. He prayed that it wasn't for him.

"I thought I'd find you here."

Logan sat up and turned to see James standing there.

"What's up?" Logan asked.

"We need to talk," James said slowly.

"Is everything alright?" Logan asked.

"I-it...I shouldn't even be doing this," James said slowly. He looked unsure.

"What's wrong? Are the kids ok? Did Kyle and Lilly get into another argument," Logan asked confused.

"It's not about them, it's...it's about Carlos," James said.

"What about him," Logan asked slowly.

James walked over to the table and sat down across from the other brunette. Logan arched a brow at James. He was acting very odd.

"Ok I got a question," James said after a moment.

"What?" Logan asked.

"If you saw Kendall doing something with someone else, you'd tell me right?" James asked.

"Doing what?" Logan asked. He knew what James was implying. He wanted to hear him say it though.

"I saw it with my own eyes," James said looking down at his hands. "I went out with some of my coworkers last night and..."

"And what?" Logan asked.

"Carlos was there, with that Selene. They were getting awfully cozy together," James said.

"Their friends James, you're mistaken," Logan said glaring at the model.

"Look, I'm not doing this to be mean Logan. I'm just telling you what I saw. It looked like they were more than friends," James said not backing down.

"Carlos wouldn't cheat," Logan said.

"I'm sorry Logan, I didn't...I knew this was a bad idea," James said jumping up. Logan grabbed his arm and stopped him.

"He wouldn't cheat would he?" Logan asked looking up at James. He didn't want to believe what James had told him, but he wasn't sure he could.

"Logan I'm sorry," James said. "He's wasn't cheating perse. It's not a far stretch if he hasn't already."

"Thanks James, and for the record I would tell you if the roles were reversed. I'd also help you kick his ass," Logan said.

"I know," James replied. He left the room.

Logan sank into his chair. He had been in denial for so long. He had wanted so bad to believe that they were just rumors. As long as nobody close to him said it, it wasn't real. James telling him this, was all he needed to know. He needed to talk to Carlos about this, before he made assumptions. Carlos was the only one who could set the record straight.

-We Are-

Lilly made her way down stairs in search of something to eat. She didn't understand why being pregnant made you want the strangest things. These damn hormones were starting to get annoying. She wanted i cream and strangely she wanted pickles.

The front door opened caring her. Miles walked into with a small smile on his face. It was something Lilly hadn't seen lately. She was glad that he was happy again.

"Where were you?" Lilly asked as she made her way into the kitchen. Miles followed her.

"I went to mini golf with Le, Lu, and Artie. It was fun," Miles replied, "how was your night?"

"Homework," Lilly replied making a face. Miles chuckled at that. "I'm just looking for a snack." She added as she started rummaging through the fridge.

"We're out of pickles if that's what you're looking for. I think you had the last of them last night," MIles said.

"Oh yeah, I forgot," Lilly sighed. She continued her search though.

"So, what are your plans for after graduation," Miles asked as he leaned against the counter next to her. Lilly stopped her search and looked to him and then down to her stomach.

"I really don't know," Lilly admitted, "I mean I've due in November so I've been applying to schools to start in the Spring semester rather than the fall."

"What about the baby, have you guys made a decision yet?" Miles asked curiously.

"I'm not ready to be a mom yet. I don't want that responsibility yet," Lilly admitted.

"What about Kyle," Miles asked.

"He hasn't changed his mind either, I don't know what's going to happen right now Miles. Everything is spiraling out of control and I can't get a grip on anything," Lilly admitted.

"Sorry Lil, I didn't mean-" Miles started.

"It's ok, Kyle and I still have a lot to figure out. We need to get this sorted out soon though. It won't be long before she's here and we needed to have everything together by then," Lilly said.

"She?" Miles arched a brow at his sister.

"Oh, I think it's gonna be a girl," Lilly replied her cheeks red.

The two exited the kitchen together. They saw Logan enter the house. He looked antsy and on edge. He spotted them and smiled at them.

"Is your father home?" He asked.

"Yeah, I think he's upstairs," Lilly replied. Logan nodded his head and quickly headed up the stairs. The two shared a look before shrugging and making their way to the living room to talk for a bit longer.

-We Are-

Jake yawned as he heard the alarm blaring in his ear. He barely registered that it was his alarm clock. He felt an arm reach over him and turn the alarm off. That arm pulled back and a hand touched his shoulder.

"Jake," Damien said softly in his ear.

"Five more minutes," Jake grumbled. He didn't want to leave his nice warm bed. He wasn't ready for his classes today.

"Sorry Jake, it's time to get up," Damien chuckled. "You've got an early class today."

"No that's ignorant," Jake replied. Damien chuckled and slipped the blanket off of Jake. "Jerk."

"Love you too Jake," Damien chuckled. He got out of bed taking the blanket with him.

Jake glared at his husband before sighing. As much as he hated to admit it, Damien was right, he needed to get ready for classes. Jake was just tired all the time. This pregnancy was really taking it out of him.

Jake got out of bed and joined Damien in the shower. The two got ready for the day. As they were making a quick breakfast together Jake turned to Damien.

"I've been thinking," Jake said slowly.

"About what," Damien asked as he finished making his sandwich. He looked to Jake showing that he was listening.

"What if I took next semester off," Jake said, "I mean with the baby coming and everything, things are going to be stressful."

"I've been thinking about that too," Damien admitted.

"No, you can stay in school and work on your degree. You know what you want to do. I still haven't fully figured things out yet," Jake said looking down at his ever growing stomach.

"Ok, yeah, but I will visit you between classes if I have enough time and we will make this work Jake," Damien said quickly. Jake smiled at that. He knew they would make this work. They didn't have a choice in about five months they were going to have a baby to take care of.

"We'll make it work Day," Jake replied.

"Oh I know we will," Damien replied with a smile.

-We Are-

Kyle laughed as he listened to the guys talk about their childhood. They had joined Kyle in the lobby of Rocque Records. Kyle was waiting for Kendall to get out of a meeting. They had wanted to know how his impromptu session with Avery had gone yesterday.

"No that did not happen," Roldy said his cheeks red. Jared and Noah had told Kyle about a story of Roldy actually being cool for once. "I didn't cheat off of Jared. That would be actually wanting to fail."

"Ha, I wasn't that bad in school," Jared said.

"Oh please, you were boy crazy and very air headed," Roldy said.

"I have to agree Munroe, if it weren't for Ro you would've failed trig," Matt said.

"Who needs math anyways," Jared replied, "it's one of the most useless things I ever did. I never should've let you talk me into taking Trig," he added looking to Roldy.

"I just wanted you to be prepared, in case things didn't pan out like you hoped," Roldy said.

"Yeah, Jer we were only looking out for you, I mean it wasn't a for sure thing," Noah said.

"It worked though, so again I say, useless," Jared said.

"Well, I am glad that it all worked out," Kyle replied with a smile. Jared smiled at that as well. The other three just rolled their eyes.

"Ok, let's get back to the subject at hand though, how did things with Avery go?" Noah asked.

"Oh, they went great," Kyle replied quickly with a grin.

"Yeah, she warmed up to him right away," Kendall replied as he walked down the hallway with Penelope right behind him. "I mean it only took you boys like three years to get on her good side." He added.

"Hey, it's not my fault she was in the way and Noah pushed me," Jared said defensively.

"Matt shoved me," Noah said pointing a blaming finger at the other brunette.

"It wasn't me, it was Ro," Matt said.

"Yeah, it was me, but Jared was being a moron," Roldy agreed nodding his head with a grin.

"Ok guys, I said you could go like an hour ago," Kendall said looking to the four.

"Sorry, we thought we might keep Kyle company while he was waiting for you," Matt said.

"Yeah, he looked pretty lonely doing his homework," Jared added.

"We needed to talk to you anyways," Roldy said.

"Ok, that's enough time to go," Kyle said jumping up.

"About that Kyle," Penelope said slowly.

"Oh no, he is not cancelling on me," Kyle said quickly.

"Kendall."

Kendall turned and saw James walked towards him. Kendall arched a brow at his husband. This was unexpected.

"What's wrong James, I'm a little busy right now," Kendall said quickly as his phone started ringing. He sighed as he pulled it out. Penelope snatched it.

"I got this, maybe she will stop if I talk to her," Penelope said as she answered the phone walking away.

"James can this wait, I promised Kyle my time right now, but I have something I need to take care of right now. It should only take a few minutes," Kendall said quickly looking to Penelope who was on his phone. Kendall felt a pain in his arm and shoulder. All this stress was getting to him. He rubbed his shoulder trying to ease the pain.

"It's kind of important, we need to talk in private," James said looking at Kyle wearily.

"I've got a lot going on right now James. I have an angry momager on the phone demanding that I sign her son to our label, Kelly is home with Mickey who's sick, I have a meeting with Gustavo that I forgot all about, and Kyle wants to record, so can this wait? Is it life or death?" Kendall asked his breath coming in short pants. He felt like it was stuffy all of a sudden. He couldn't quite catch his breath.

"Dad are you ok?"Kyle asked walking over to the older blonde.

"I'm fine, I just need a moment," Kendall said walking over to a chair and sitting down.

"Are you sure you're ok Ken," James asked worriedly as he moved over to stand by his husband. Kyle was right behind him looking anxious.

"I-I don't know," Kendall admitted. His chest hurt and breathing was becoming increasingly difficult.

"Kendall what's wrong," James asked grabbing his shoulder.

Kendall opened his mouth to speak, but no words came. His chest hurt. His hand flew to his chest and he lost his bearings.

Kyle watched as Kendall slid out of his chair and James tried to catch him. Everything just seemed to go in slow motion, James was hollering for someone to call an ambulance and trying to talk to Kendall. Kyle heard the word heart attack, come from one of the guys and everything snapped back to reality.

"Dad!"

Kyle fell to his knees next to James. It was chaos. He just felt numb to everything around him. Everyone was freaking out. James and Penelope were having a hurried conversation. She was talking about keeping the heart pumping and something about CPR. Matt was on the phone with 911 freaking out. Noah and Roldy were trying to help, but only getting in the way. Kyle had no idea where Jared was until he felt a hand on his shoulder.

Kyle looked over his shoulder at Jared. Jared urged him away from the others. Kyle let him lead him across the room, his eyes never leaving Kendall. Once they stopped moving Jared just pulled Kyle into his arms. Kyle turned into the older male and let his tears fall. He was so scared right now. That ambulance needed to get her like ten minutes ago.

"It's gonna be alright," Jared said soothingly in his ear as he held the young blonde tight.

Not soon enough the paramedics arrived. All too soon Kendall was being taken away with James following after him. Once they were gone Kyle felt the urge to run after them.

"Come on, what are we waiting for," Jared said quickly snapping Kyle out of his daze.

"I got a ride from Leora here, I need a ride," Kyle said quickly the words coming from his mouth felt foreign.

"You guys go, Pen and I can take her car," Matt replied.

"Wait! I have to call the others," Kyle said thinking about his siblings for the first time.

"We'll do that, don't worry, just give me your phone," Jared said holding his hand out. Kyle handed his phone over.

Jared quickly started going through his contact and had the guys call Adam, Jake, and Leora. The three of them kept calm as they broke the news and instructed them to meet them at the hospital. Once they were done everyone looked to Kyle.

"I've got one more person to call," Kyle said taking his phone back. He called Jennifer, she needed to know what was going on. Kendall was her son after all.

So there you go another chapter done. Kyle is recording his album! Will his duet with Avery work out? Did he over step? Leora is doing her best to cheer Miles up, is it working? Did Logan confront Carlos? What was the outcome? Would Carlos cheat? Kendall had a heart attack, will he be ok? Is this a sign? So there are some things to think about. As always there is more to come and I shall see you next time.
