Operation Blank Conspiracy 34
A few days had passed and he still hadn't heard from Treize about when the meeting would take place. He was getting sick of this, getting sick of playing as Treize's little lapdog that he could call over whenever he pleased. It made the others of Romefeller look at him weirdly, though they didn't say anything about it. They didn't try to order him around and most times it looked like he was the one with the higher rank thanks to Treize's influences. He probably looked like some cheap whore that catered to Treize's bedroom needs. Thankfully that hadn't been forced upon him yet.
He'd let Trowa know about it already through text and updated him to any information pertaining to the mission…which was nothing so far. But Trowa had at least learned something on his end. His first assumption about the person Treize was meeting with not being on the ship was right. He wasn't there yet, but it was probably coming soon. Hopefully it would happen sometime before Relena's birthday party so that he could be there for his second mission.
Treize: You're not here yet.
A text. That's what he'd just received from that annoying man he wished he could take out with his bare hands. Grumbling, Wufei typed in his reply quickly.
Wufei: I'm busy.
Treize: Interesting…what are you busy doing, may I ask?
Wufei lifted a brow. He'd just gotten out the shower and was trying to dress. Seriously, considering how often Treize seemed to catch him during his most vulnerable moments, he was starting to wonder if there were hidden cameras around his room. Just from the week of being on the ship, and the two days that had already passed since being promoted to personal guard, Treize had called him three times at the exact moment he got out the shower.
Wufei: Dressing. What do you want?
There was a pause in which Wufei was given time to actually pull some pants on before the buzz of a text returned to him.
Treize: What are you wearing?
Wufei blushed at the question and looked down at himself. He was only wearing pants right now since Treize kept interrupting him while he was dressing. Was the man so bored he couldn't find something else to do besides pester Wufei to death?
Wufei: …Clothes. Now stop texting me so I can finish up.
His eye was twitching with annoyance. This man. Was this some kind of weird fetish game for him?
Treize: Want me to come over and help you?
Wufei's whole face turned red before he picked up the phone quickly calling the man. As soon as the phone was picked up he found himself yelling into it pushing his pent up frustration on the man who was at fault.
"Will you stop pestering, you annoying man!"
"I was hoping you would call," Treize said sounding like he was grinning into the phone. "I missed hearing the sound of your voice, Jin."
"Strange, I don't miss hearing yours at all." But even saying that, he couldn't deny that his body was more relaxed. Maybe because he was starting to get used to being around the guy? Seriously, if he weren't the dog of Romefeller, Wufei could see them get along together…sort of. The man was still a pest in his own way.
"You hurt my fragile heart with such cruel words, Jin." It didn't sound like he was hurt at all. Bastard was just toying with him as he seemed to enjoy doing so often lately. "I do have good news for you."
"What? You're going to finally take care of my job for me and drop dead?"
"The meeting's going to happen today." Wufei tensed perking up at the words. This was good news. This was what he was waiting for. Then he'd be able to get out of this annoying place and back to his team where he belonged. "A uniform is being delivered to you at this very moment. Please dress yourself in it and meet me at my room for a quick briefing. You'll be escorting me around for the rest of today."
"…Joy." Hearing the knock at his door, Wufei glanced at it before he spoke into the phone again. "I'm hanging up now. I'll be there in ten minutes."
"I'll look forward to it," Treize said, that husk to his voice again that always sent a shiver down Wufei's body. The phone was hung up before Wufei could retort. He pulled it from his ear frowning down at it before he walked over to the bedroom door opening it to see two men standing there holding the uniform and what must have been the shoes for it. And why did it look like there were millions of buttons on the suit? It was white, which really stood out to him, and so elaborate that he swore Treize must have lost his mind to buy it.
Well…it might take longer than ten minutes to put this bad boy on but he had to admit, the man had some style to him. An expensive style. "Alright," Wufei said looking down at the clothes once he'd been left alone to change. "I might as well get this over with." Then he could be on his merry way to join Duo and the others with Trowa and hopefully never have to come back to this place again.
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Damn it, could this be any more boring? Duo did his best to restrain a yawn, playing his part as guard slash doormat. There was a meeting going on that the three of them were supposed to attend. They weren't there for the meeting itself though, just as protectors to keep people from getting to the queen. Somehow Duo had the lucky job of being the outdoor man. He was standing guard and doing his best not to fall asleep even though there was absolutely no one in sight of the whole palace, not since the guests had arrived over thirty minutes ago. About half of them would be staying here in the palace for a few nights as guest to the big birthday bash.
Honestly, he could care less. He hadn't even gotten to meet the queen since some rude, bald guard named Kenny decided to split them up into their designated watch locations. Aside from his last mission that he went on with Trowa, this was the first time he was getting to be away from the space station for a while. It was also his first time visiting Earth which he had to admit was amazing. Breathing, seeing, and smelling things that weren't artificial felt like he was on a whole new planet. Ok, so technically he was but still it was something else. And yet he was getting to enjoy it as nothing more than a door ornament to some guest.
"Duo, how are you holding out?"
Duo looked up at Quatre pathetically, putting full force into his pout to let him know just how much he was hating this right now. "This is so boring. I don't have anything to do but look at Mr. Tall, Bald, and Nasty over there." He pointed his finger in the direction of Kenny who looked back at him before he grunted and turned away from him continuing his task of walking the family dog. Geez, even walking around and watching a dog poop seemed like more fun than just standing by the door and waiting for some action.
"It's not so bad once you get used to it," Quatre said smiling at him. "I think the meeting's almost over so we'll be able to relax for a little while."
"Good. I'm hungry and my legs are starting to cramp from standing here for so long." Quatre nodded though the both of them knew that he wasn't feeling any of it. Still, it didn't hurt to pretend like he felt pain so he wasn't causing any suspicion among allies. "Is Heero still in the meeting with her?"
"Yeah, it sounds like there's a debate going on between the queen and the other members of the Alliance." Quatre shook his head a bit frowning. "It'll probably be postponed since they never want to listen to her demands."
"Because she's a kid in their eyes, right?" Duo frowned. He knew that all too well. He'd experienced it enough with his life on the streets even before OZ picked him and Solo up as perfect test subjects. "Heero seems to get along well with her. Were they ever…?" What he thought on the matter must have come up on his face because as soon as Quatre looked up at him he quickly shook his head.
"No, nothing like that," Quatre said quickly. "What they have is completely platonic. Just a guardian and a queen." Duo lifted a brow at the comment signaling he was going to have to be clearer. Because usually the whole princess and knight game resulted in the princess always getting the knight, right?
"Putting it simply," Quatre continued. "Heero saved her life once when they were younger. Since then he's kind of been protective of her. At the same time she relies on him more than the rest of us." Duo still had the frown on his face. That really didn't sound any better to his not so fragile ears. But the frown disappeared when Quatre reached out ruffling his hair. "Quit thinking so much on it. If it helps any, the only person I've ever seen Heero smile around is you."
Duo blushed at that, rubbing at his head as he smiled trying not to feel embarrassed from the words. He'd seen quite a bit of that smile as well as a livelier look that didn't really exist when they'd first met. Hell, this wasn't the time to be some jealous lover. They had a lot of things they needed to be doing like taking care of a queen and preparing for a birthday party.
It made him smile thinking about Father Maxwell and Sister Helen wondering and hoping they were doing well. He hadn't spoken to them since he'd come back to the preventers. He remembered that they used to throw him a birthday party despite the fact that he didn't really know when his birthday was. Hell, he wondered if he was really eighteen years old. Wasn't like kids, especially street rats, had any kind of concept of time.
"Ya think HQ will let me call Father Maxwell when we get back?"
"Well…I don't see a reason for why not," Quatre said frowning a bit as he stared at him. "But it all really depends on Colonel Une…and you don't seem to be making good friends with her."
"She started it." It was a childish thing to say. But he didn't care. It was the truth.
"Duo, I think if you just gave her a chance, you'll find she's a really nice person…on the inside." Why did it sound like there was hesitation there? "Just try talking to her the next time you're back."
"I'll think about it." Which really just meant that he probably wasn't going to do it.
"Duo, just-"
"I'm sorry to interrupt your conversation," an elderly voice said from the door. Two sets of eyes turned as one looking at the old man standing there. He was an old butler to the Peacecraft family that went by the name of Pagan. It was determined that he'd been with the two children of the Peacecraft family at the time of the former king and queen's murder. The trusted butler and a family advisor to the royal family. That was Pagan's role. "The meeting has just ended. Queen Relena would like to see you. Now if you would please follow me."
He turned around heading back inside. Duo and Quatre glanced at each other before following. Duo didn't miss the opportunity to look back at Kenny staring at them with the dog pooping beside him and sticking his tongue out earning a frustrated glare in return. Served him right treating Duo like he was some lowly soldier. He actually gained satisfaction at the idea that he was going to have to pick up that dog poop.
It took them a good minute to get to the conference room. They were walking around a rather large palace after all. Duo would have whistled at how elaborate the place was. He'd been given the schematics of the whole building, including what room the Queen stayed in. Four floors not including the basement and attic that housed over 600 rooms. A person could easily get lost in the palace if they didn't have an escort with them. Or if they weren't a gundam pilot who was used to navigating large areas.
Pagan stopped them in front of the conference room doors before he stepped forward peeking his head inside. "Queen Relena. Your guests are here to see you now."
"Thank you, Pagan," a soft female voice said from inside. "Please send them in." Pagan stepped aside letting the two of them go inside before he quietly closed the door behind them. The Queen wasn't dress like he'd have expected. He thought it'd be some giant, poofy dress that you could barely walk in. Instead, she was wearing simple white slacks with a white dress shirt and jacket that made him think of some General of an army.
While she sat at the head of the table, Heero stood to one side of her looking up towards the door. Duo's eyes lit up when he saw the cobalt eyes stare at him and flushed when he took notice of the small smile on Heero's face. That was enough to alleviate any bad feelings he got about his boyfriend being alone with someone else.
"Quatre, it's good to see you again," Relena said standing as Quatre walked over to her.
"Likewise, your highness," he said in return giving a small bow before he smiled at her. "It feels like it's been a long time since we last met."
"I'll say." She laughed softly before her eyes turned to the new face. It made Duo swallow and go to attention seeing as she was a queen and all. "Please relax. There's no reason to get all formal." The queen was looking at him when she said it, an amused smile on her lips. Duo hesitated for a moment before he finally relaxed walking over to stand beside Quatre. "So you must be the newest member."
"Duo Maxwell, ma'am." He said looking over at Heero who gave him a nod. "I'm the newest gundam pilot."
"Just Relena is fine while we're among friends," she said. He rubbed at the back of his head, laughing slightly though he really didn't know what to say. He wasn't used to higher up, royal people wanting to talk to him or even be nice to him. He'd seen the way rich people could act, how they'd sneer at homeless orphans as if they were rats. But she was different. She didn't treat him like a bug she could step on. She treated him as a human. And that was unusual for him. Though a part of him wondered if that would change if she knew his upbringing.
"How did the meeting go?" Quatre asked.
"They wouldn't listen," Relena said sighing tiredly as she went back to the chair sinking back down into it in what was probably the most un-lady like fashion. She almost seemed like one of the guys in that moment, something that actually had Duo grinning at the imagery. He saw Heero look over at him and lift a brow and he couldn't help smirking in his direction. "No matter how much I explain to them that we need to reach out to the colonies more, they still want to be pigheaded about the whole thing."
"They're just a bunch of old farts," Heero said, his arms moving up to fold over his chest as he glared towards the table frowning. Duo actually hid his chuckles behind his hand at the words Heero used. Seriously, did Heero really talk like that? He really needed to learn more about his young lover boy. The eyes turned to look up at both him and Quatre before he found himself stifling the laugh by biting his lips. He took notice of the way Heero stared at his mouth and was satisfied to see Heero look away from him, a hand moving to cover his lips. Interesting, was he still embarrassed about that kiss?
"I wish they'd understand that we need to reach out to the colonies," Relena continued on. "We need to have more campaigns there to really help them and to let them see that we're on their side as much as we're on the Earth's side. We shouldn't be split up like this, fighting each other over something as mundane as control and conquer."
"And because they're so old, they don't want to listen to a young lady telling them what to do," Duo said tilting his head slightly as he turned his attention to the queen. "I don't really think there's much else you can do to make them listen to you."
"You could always use force," Heero said dropping his arms and moving to the table resting his hands on top of it as he bent over slightly. "Men like that will only listen to you when they have a gun to their head."
"That defeats the purpose, Heero," Quatre said quickly, staring at him like he was crazy for suggesting it. "We shouldn't use violence to get what we want. We have to find a way to compromise." They fell silent then, each in their own thoughts about the situation. Duo wasn't about to put his two cents out there though. His idea bordered on the one of Heero's and probably would have made him look like a psychotic madman either way. What was the point of protecting these Alliance guys if they weren't going to make any changes to make the world better? Or were they like OZ and just didn't care about the colonies?
Duo glanced over at the queen who was staring at the table deep in thought. She could probably make that change. She seemed to care about the colonies as much as she did about the Earth. Maybe they could just tell the Alliance to screw themselves and just go with their own plans for including the colonies. But would the Alliance turn the people of Earth against the Queen? Or would the people back her? She seemed powerful, caring, the type of person that the people would love. He couldn't see them turning on her. And he got all of this only from being around her for five minutes.
"Well, let's not dwell on it," Relena said standing again as she smiled at them all. "I'm sure you're all probably very hungry right now. You've traveled a long ways and haven't gotten to take a break yet."
"I know I'm starving," Duo said groaning dramatically as he held his stomach. "I swear I could eat a whale if you had one!"
"…Well we do have Sashimi on the serving table for the dinner tonight."
"…Sashi-what?" Duo frowned looking at her. She only seemed to smile back at him innocently, though he was starting to see the mischievous look in her eyes.
"Sashimi. It's a dish from Japan that contains raw meats and fish. It's considered a delicacy in their country. There's even whale tails on the menu for tonight."
"…Eh…no thanks," Duo said backing away and shaking his head quickly. "I'll just stick to the beef and chicken, cooked please. Thanks."
"You don't know what you're missing," Heero said smirking at him as he said it. "Especially the octopus and squid."
"…Ew, Heero, just…ew." He made a face ignored how Quatre was laughing at him as he crossed his arms in front of him like he was making an X. "No way I'm eating that!"
"It's good," Heero said looking like he was trying to keep from laughing himself. Relena wasn't doing a good job of it though, holding the chuckle into her arms, her body quaking. "You shouldn't knock it till you try it."
"Sure, I'll say that the next time you tell me no when I offer you a chili cheese hot dog pretzel burger loaded with chips, jalapeños, and French fries."
"That's a death burger," Heero said frowning and making a face. "That's just gross."
"That's a, damn that's delicious, burger! And it's the best thing in the world so don't knock it till you try it." He stuck his tongue out childishly trying not to pout at having his burger idea called gross. Hell, these guys had no taste. Let them eat their raw fish and slimy octopus legs. He'd stick to the real thing called food.
"Anyway," Quatre said still chuckling at their antics. "Let's get out of here before you guys give me a hernia from laughter."
"I didn't think you could get a hernia from laughter, Quat," Duo said following the other to the door after giving Heero a "you suck" look.
"You can't," Quatre said looking back at him and smirking. "But after hearing about your death burger, I might get one." Duo stared opened mouth at the other's back leaving out the door before he whined loudly.
"It's not a death burger! Damn it, you guys suck. You guys really really suck."
"It's not just sucking that I do," Heero said quietly by his ear before he walked out the door like he hadn't said a word, leaving Duo flabbergasted and blushing a healthy red hue. There was nothing he could say to that, leaving him to stare at Relena as she gave him a sympathetic look before grabbing his arm and escorting him out.
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
The uniform fit better than he had expected. Which was weird considering that Treize shouldn't have known what his size was. Or maybe he just had a really good eye when it came to fashion. Granted it was a little too flashy for his taste, he found it wasn't a bad suit. It felt comfortable, not too tight and not too lose with embroidery on the edges of the suit and along the sleeves that made him look like someone with power. Seeing as he was supposed to be Treize's personal guard, it made sense that he should dress the part.
He'd already let Trowa know about the meeting which was where he and Treize were headed too along with the extra guards that always followed Treize around. He thought they would have recognized him by now but the glasses and the hidden hair must have been enough for them. That or they were just playing along with Treize's little game.
"Remember what I told you, my young friend."
"Yeah yeah, I remember," Wufei said frowning as he tugged the white hat further down on his head looking similar to a captain's cap more than the basic one he was used to wearing. Treize had told him everything he wanted him to do during the meeting. Don't speak unless spoken to, and only if Treize gave him permission to. Try not to make eye contact. Don't draw attention to yourself.
Simple rules that any person following their leader would know not to do. Attention could bring about suspicion, especially to someone who was supposed to be just a subordinate but was really a spy. He hated that he had to pretend to be close to this man. But right now he didn't have much choice in the matter. He needed to find out who the dealers were and why.
They stopped to let the doors to the conference room be opened before starting inside, Wufei moving to be a step behind Treize and to his side, showing that he wasn't the one in control there but that he was his highest guard against any threats. They'd given him a sword to have at his side, something Treize had gotten him when the he learned about Wufei's skills with the weapon. He had a gun attached to his thigh as well if he needed it, easily obtainable if the situation called for it. He doubted it would here, not on one of Romefeller's main battle stations.
The man inside waiting on them was an older gentleman with gray hair and glasses. He looked like he'd seen some years though there was the undeniable look of hatred to his eyes as if he was ready to kill the world. He looked like he'd been waiting for a while, the glass of water along with the pitcher on the table in front of him half drained. Wufei took him to be in his late fifties, maybe sixties. And yet he wasn't all that surprised that such an old man was making a deal with the Representative of the Romefeller Foundation.
When the two of them came inside, the door closed behind them leaving just the three of them inside of the room. Wufei glanced over at Treize seeing the slight twitch of his lips that resembled a cocky smirk before the man took a step forward taking a sat at the end of the table across from where the old man sat. The old eyes looked at the two of them, suspicion far too noticeable in his eyes. It made Wufei wonder why he bothered to come here then. He wasn't alone. He had guards outside the room that were there for his safety. Though what five meager guards could do against an army of soldiers onboard, he wasn't sure. Even Wufei would be in trouble if they found out he was a gundam pilot.
"Well then," Treize said drawing the eyes to focus on him again. "Shall we begin our negotiation?"
"I thought we agreed not to bring any guards into the room." The eyes shot up to Wufei making the younger male frown. But he kept his mouth shut, shifting his eyes away to instead look at the side of Treize's face, finding it a lot easier to look at than the man's face.
"He's my most trusted advisor," Treize said chuckling slightly. "But if it makes you feel better…" Blue eyes turned looking at Wufei catching the ebony eyes off guard as they widened with surprise before quickly looking away. "Jin, if you'd be so kind as to remove your weapons. I wouldn't want to make our guest uncomfortable."
"…Yes sir." Wufei hesitated frowning slightly before he slowly removed the sword and gun setting them down on the table. He held his hand on them, glancing up at the old man across the table that was still looking at him before he pulled his hand back returning his attention to Treize.
"There. Does that make you feel better now?" Treize grinned almost deviously at the man before his expression just seemed to become more somber. "If it will make you feel any better, you can always call in one of your guards to protect you."
"No, it's fine," the man said quickly looking like he just wanted to get this finished with. "Anyway, my name is Quinze. I'm coming here on behalf of White Fang in the place of our leader." White Fang? Well at least he knew what the group was called. But he'd never heard of the group before. He kept his face schooled though, looking more bored than actually interested in learning more. It seemed to work because Quinze started paying more attention to Treize than to fact that there was another person there with them.
"Because he had more business to attend to, correct?"
The man hesitated for a moment before he gave him a nod. "I'm sure he already spoke to you before about the negotiations. Have you made an agreement to our demands?"
"The Gundanium alloy in your transport in exchange for some of our guns and mobile suits, correct?" Wufei tensed despite himself hearing this, his eyes staring at Treize. Was this man really making such a deal with someone like this? "I'm not sure if I can agree to those terms."
"We're after the same goals, correct?" The man stared at Treize hard enough that Wufei believed any other man would have wilted. The representative didn't even budge. "Freedom for the colonies. The destruction of the Earth that oppressed us. This is not the time to be wishie washie over our decisions. For ever second we waste on making a decision the United Earth Sphere Alliance and Romefeller get one step further away from us."
"Relax," Treize said leaning back in the chair. He waited until he saw the old man calm down before he started talking again. "I never said that I wouldn't accept the Gundanium just that I don't agree with those terms." He gestured towards the cup and water, glancing back at Wufei. The ebony eyes blinked before getting the idea of what Treize wanted. Frowning he grabbed a fresh cup from the table and pouring the water into it before taking it over to Treize handing it to him. He tried not to be effected by the brush of fingers against his own as Treize took the glass from him, blue eyes still focused on the man across the table.
"Gundanium alloy is not your average metal, if you can even call it metal." Treize took a sip of the water, looking over the rim at Quinze who fidgeted a bit more from sitting so long before he lowered the glass again. "It requires someone knowledgeable in the workings of this particular alloy. So even if I didn't except this negotiation, the alloy would be completely useless to you."
"Then are you saying this is a dead end?"
"I'm saying that I know someone that can build a mobile suit using this Gundanium alloy." Wufei frowned finding himself listening intensely. He only knew of the five scientists to be the only ones to be able to build mobile suits like the gundams. Master O had told him the process behind it, something necessary for them to be able to repair their own suits when needed. But it wasn't like they used it often, not with how tough the gundam's armor was. If so, then what other person out there knew how to make these suits? Were there others being made already? Was there a suit out there just sitting on standby?
"I'm willing to make two suits with the alloy," Treize said to Quinze. "In exchange for the Gundanium I'll let you have one of the suits."
Quinze seemed to perk up at that, a slow smirk starting to appear on his lips. "Well now…" He reached up pushing his glasses up, the glint from the lights overhead making it hard to see his eyes through them. "I'm sure that's something that even my leader will agree to."
"Good." Treize reached into his pocket making Wufei and the old man tense up before he pulled free some rolled up papers instead of the gun Wufei thought he'd pull. "I've already signed it. So if you'd be so kind as to sign your name as a person in agreement on this plan. Also," his eyes cut to Wufei then. "Jin, I want you to sign as a witness to this."
"…Sir." Wufei frowned on the inside, secretly glaring at the man who caught the look with a smirk. Wufei grabbed the parchments from him taking them along with a pen down to Quinze for him to sign. The male looked frustrated to see him but he took the papers signing them before handing them back to him. It took a moment to coax himself, but Wufei signed it using his code name Jin Shing before he took the papers back to Treize refraining from just tossing the papers at the man. He had a lot of choice words he wanted to say to the man, but he'd have to wait until they were back in the safety of Treize's soundproof room before he spoke on them.
"Thank you, Jin," Treize said grinning up at him. "You have no idea how much this means to me." Wufei bit his lips to keep from cursing out at the man. Not while Quinze was here. "So if this concludes our meeting, I will excuse myself. I have more things I need to attend to." Pushing up from the table, Treize left one of the signed forms on the table for Quinze before he took the other one rolling it up and tucking it into his jacket again for safe keeping. "Come, Jin." He turned around grinning at Wufei's angry face. "Let's see how many other suits I can put on you."
Treize didn't seem to care that the old man probably heard it, the bastard. Wufei grumbled following after the male, keeping his mouth shut on the matter. He glanced back, seeing Quinze's eyes following them but otherwise nothing more was said.
He didn't say anything on the way back to Treize's room, letting the other hear himself talk like he was probably used to. He knew he'd let him have it behind closed doors. He'd let out all his frustration, of being used as some ploy, a toy, a witness to something he never agreed on. He was sick of being the playground for this man to walk all over.
He was going to a demand he receive the Fly-Z. Then he was going to escape with Trowa and meet up with the others. But he wasn't going to do it without letting the man have it, not without telling him how vile a man he was. He should have been killed a long time ago, a plague to mankind. And now, was he betraying Romefeller? The very foundation he worked for?
How much more despicable can a man be? How much more time before this man was behind bars or in front of a firing range? Oh he'd tear into him like there was no tomorrow. He'd tear into him like…like….
"Why are you undressing me?!" Wufei looked up with wide eyes, his face flushed as he came back to reality finding himself pressed up against the closed door of the interior of Treize's room. The nuisance already had his jacket unbuttoned and Wufei was glad he had another shirt and a t-shirt underneath it.
"Sorry," Treize said staring down at him and smirking. "You seemed so tired and zoned out standing there that I thought I'd help you to get some rest."
"By stripping me of my clothes?!"
"…Sleeping in the nude helps to relieve stress."
Wufei blushed. "I've never even heard of such a dumb theory."
"I sleep in the buff all the time," Treize said grinning at him. "You'd be surprised how much release I get." Wufei blushed more hearing the innuendo hidden in the words. Sick bastard was going to be his death.
"Whatever, I've already done more than enough for you. And since time was your only agreement." Wufei slipped away from him fixing his clothes ignoring how Treize stared at him. "Hand over the Fly-Z."
"Not quite yet, .Ku." Wufei lifted a brow staring at the man like he was mad. What did he mean by not quite yet? He'd fulfilled his obligation to him. As far as Wufei was concerned, the deal was completed. "Since I'll be going to a very important birthday party next week, I believe it's a fitting idea that you go there as my personal guard." …Eh?
"What did you just say?"
"Relena's Birthday party," Treize said smiling at him innocently as he walked over towards his bed starting to undo his jacket. "I hope you weren't expecting that just the Alliance would be going. After all, things like this are considered to be mutual grounds for political leaders."
"…Yeah, but-"
"It's what we discussed at the meeting," Treize said slipping the jacket off his shoulders and looking back at Wufei. "It's where we first met." No, it wasn't really where they first met, just where Treize first really took notice of him. The bigger problem right now though was the fact that Treize was going to the party…where all the other pilots including Duo were. Not only was this putting Duo in danger, it was also putting him at risk of discovery since Treize's men only knew him by his undercover side. He'd have to let the other's know and he'd have no choice but to play along with Treize's demands.
"I see you're finally getting it," Treize said. "Your friend that snuck on board with you may not have a problem, but for you who's been my personal guard and most trusted advisor, it's a whole different matter altogether."
"Fine," Wufei said grunting. "But once this is all over, I don't want to see your face ever again."
"Fair enough," Treize said having his shirt off and making Wufei red from staring at him. Shaking his head, Wufei turned away from him to open the door. "See you bright and early tomorrow morning…Jin."
Wufei glanced back at him lying on his bed and staring at him with that smug look on his face before he grunted and left out not bothering to even say good bye to him.

Looong chapter this time. And I enjoyed every second of it. XD I've never had a sashimi before myself. I just took the reference off of Wikipedia after doing a search on whale meat. I didn't even know people eat whale meat. XD So interesting.
