General POV

Dani woke up in her capsule before anyone else in the lab. She stepped out and looked at Chase, who was still sleeping in his capsule. Dani was still mad and barely talked to him since he froze their dad in ice. Chase did try and apologize to Dani, but she couldn't forgive them easily. Dani saw that Chase was moving a little so she headed upstairs to take a shower. She didn't notice Chase waking up and could see her walk away through his tired eyes.

A few hours later, Dani was in the lab with her siblings and Leo. Tasha and Donald weren't home so it was just the teenagers.

Leo and Adam were at the cyberdesk. Leo was going through his backpack while Adam was playing around with a glass container. Chase was near the capsules, typing stuff in a tablet. He kept glancing over at his twin. Dani was sitting at Leo's mission specialist desk, charging her phone as she made sure she had all of her stuff for school. Bree walked between everyone, towards Leo's side.
"Hey, Can I use this?" Adam asked about the container he had. "I need a place to hold my toenail clippings."
"You save your toenails?" Leo asked, not seeing Chase was still looking towards Dani.
"Of course." Adam said. "They're nature's toothpicks." Dani shakes her head a little as she listened to Adam.
"You don't even want to know what he flosses with." Bree said to Leo.
"You really don't..." Adam said with a little seriousness. Chase looks from Dani to Adam. He saw that Adam had the glass container in his hand. He hurried and took it from Adam.
"Hey...get away from that. It's not empty." Chase tells Adam as Dani stands up, stretching her legs a little. "There are thousands of metallic nanobots in there."
"Then why can't I see them?"
"Because they're microscopically small." Chase and Dani said at the same time.
"But you're microscopically small and I can still see you..." Adam said to Chase. Dani shakes her head a little to herself.
"Nanobots are so tiny they're invisible to the human eye." Chase sees something out the corner of his eyes. "Here, I'll show you..." Chase grabbed a pair of goggles he saw and held them towards Adam. "Put these on." Adam put the goggles on and looked at the nanobots.
"Woah..." Adam said as Dani unplugged her phone and stood near Bree with her stuff.
"They function like mini doctors inside the human body." Chase explained to Adam. "When patients swallow them, they seek and destroy diseased cells or foreign matter."
"Oh, I have a tennis ball and mini Statue of Liberty stuck somewhere in my gut." Adam said and patted his belly with both hands. Dani smiled a little at her oldest brother. "It's time to swallow a search party." Dani watches as Chase stops Adam from swallowing the nanobots.
"Adam, no. Those are valuable." Chase tells Adam. The two start playing tug-of-war with the container.
"Come on..." Bree says to both Dani and Leo "...we don't want to step on broken glass."
"What broken glass?" Leo asked Bree before hearing glass break. He looks and sees a pile of glass in front of the cyber desk. Dani shook her head and headed out of the lab after Bree. Leo followed.

Dani was sitting at the round thing in the hallway, double checking her homework. She had gotten to school with Bree and Leo. She didn't look up to see Adam and Chase walk in. Chase saw Dani sitting alone and started to go towards her. He got close to her, but stopped. He turned to the side and saw the school mascot costume on a stand.
"Why is Dewey the dingo standing in the middle of the hallway?" He asked and Dani glanced up. She looked for a minute before looking back at her work.
"Uh...I don't know...but I think it means we get six more weeks of winter." Adam said to Chase as he looked at the costume. Dani smiled to herself a little at Adam's comments. She looked up when the lights got a little dimmer and some show lights started moving back and forth.
"Ladies and Gentleman.." Perry's voice came through the loudspeaker "...introducing the principle a four foot eleven spit fire. From Portland, Maine, Terry Perry..." Perry walked out of the office with a headband on. She made it sound like people were cheering while she high-fived some of the students. After a minute the lights go back to normal. "Just thought I'd spice up the morning announcements. Takes me back to the days of playing semi-pro ball in Romania." She takes her headband off. "Here you go kid, souvenir." She tosses it to a random student. Dani gave a grossed out look. "I'm sure you're all wondering why Dewey the dingo is here." Perry said as Dani started to put stuff in her backpack. "Every year before the big homecoming game against the Deerfield high leaping llamas...some punk manages to steal dewy. No matter where I put it, they always find a way to get it."
"Maybe you should try wearing it." Chase said to Perry. "That will keep people away." Dani chuckled with a smile along with a few other students. Chase looked at his sister and she saw him looking. She dropped her smile, which made Chase feel sad.
"Do you really want to go there Suzie Skinny jeans?" Perry asked Chase as she looked at him. "Anywho, to make certain they don't take it this year..." A student came from behind the dingo costume and handed Perry a clipboard. "I'm signing around the clock shifts." Perry holds the clipboard to Chase, who holds it so it doesn't fall. " Alright, I'm going to hit the hot tub..heard a couple things pop when I ran out here." Perry stretched and groaned a little before going back into her office.

Dani got up and went to her locker, making sure that she had her stuff for the first few classes. As she did, Chase looked at the clipboard and sighed.
"Two man shifts and she paired me with Dani..." Chase said to Adam, who was standing next to him.
"Great..you got one man..whose the other one?" Adam asked because Dani was more manly than Chase. Chase looked at Adam, who was still looking at his brother. Chase shook his head before going over to his twin. He wanted Dani to say something first and sighed when she didn't.
"We got paired together to watch the Dingo." Chase told her. Dani reluctantly looked at her brother, then the clipboard. 'Great' She thought to herself with sarcasm. All she wanted to do was go through her school day like normal and go home. Instead she had to stay near the brother she was mad at and work with him.

Dani and Chase were in the hallway, watching the dingo costume. Since Perry wanted them to watch it, they got a pass from their classes. Dani was sitting on the bench, reading a book while Chase was pacing in front of the costume. He was trying to figure out how to start a conversation with his sister and was irritated that they had to watch the costume.
"Would you stop pacing?" Dani asked, after a while, as she lifted her head to look at her brother. "You're distracting me." Chase stopped and looked at his sister.
"We're supposed to be watching the dingo." Chase said to her. "Not reading." Dani rolled her eyes, not moving from the bench.
"And we're not supposed to be pacing and creating a dent in the floor." She looked at her brother before looking back at her book, trying to read.
"I'm not creating a dent." Chase said in his defence. He looked at Dani, who didn't even look back up. He sat next to her. "Dani..." He said in a softer tone. Dani didn't even look towards him. "How many times do I have to say I'm sorry?"
"It's not going away that easily." She said. Chase sighed.
"I know." Chase looked down. "I'll be right back." He said. "Please watch the dingo..." Dani looked up to see him walking towards the bathroom.

Dani returned to her book, but then felt hungry. She marked the page in her book and got up. As she walked to the vending machine, she bumped into someone. She looked and saw a boy about her age, just a little taller.
"Excuse me." He said to her. "..I'm new here..." He continued to say "..is there a trick to the vending machine? My trail mix got stuck."
"Yeah, you just have to shake it a bit." Dani says. She glances at the dingo costume. 'A minute won't hurt' She thinks to herself about not watching it. "Let me show you..." She took a step towards the vending machine. "I'm Dani..."
"Griffin." Dani nodded at Griffin before standing in front of the vending machine. She put her hands on each side.
"Just shake like this..." She shook the vending machine, only using a little bit of her super strength. It wasn't enough to suspect anything. The trail mix fell to the bottom and Dani grabbed it. "There, problem solved." Dani looked to the side and saw that Griffin wasn't there anymore. She opened the trail mix and started to eat it herself. Dani starts to walk back to the dingo costume and saw that it was gone. 'It was a distraction' She thinks to herself. 'I should have known...' Dani sighs before seeing Chase walking back.
"Dani...what happened to the dingo?" Chase asked.
"I got distracted." Dani answered as she gathered her stuff. Chase sighed and opened his mouth, but closed it.
"We should get it back." Chase said and Dani looked towards him.
"I lost it, I'll get it back..." Dani said.
"I could help..."
"I can do it." Dani said. She made sure she had all her stuff and put it in her locker before leaving.

Dani called Adam and asked for his help, not really wanting Chase to help. Adam agreed to help for some doughnuts, which Dani agreed to. Thanks to Dani's superspeed, she went to the lab and got some headsets so they could stay in contact as they searched Deerfield High.

Adam took the top floor and outside while Dani took the second floor and first floor. They searched what seemed like hours.
"Adam, have you found it yet?" Dani quietly asked Adam through the headset.
"No..." Adam said and Dani heard an animal noise in the background.
"Adam...what is that?" Dani asked.
"Uh...nothing." Adam said. Dani shook her head and continued her search. When she heard footsteps, she turned invisible. Dani continued to search, but stayed as quiet as she could so no attention would be drawn to her. A few students walked past her. 'The locker rooms are the only place...' Dani thinks to herself.

Dani sneaks to a locker room, still invisible. She made sure no one saw the door open before she went inside. There was no one in it as she began to search the lockers, easily opening them. 'No luck' She thinks to herself before seeing a basket that was used for dirty towels. Dani goes over to it and smiles.
"Adam...I found it." She says through the headset before some boys came into the locker room. She stood and watched them toss some dirty towels into the basket. After they walked past she sighed with relief. They didn't hear her and Adam didn't say anything through the headset. "Adam, you still there?" Dani asked again.
"Yeah." Adam said. "I'll meet you back at school." He added and Dani looked at the costume. She wandered how she would be able to get it out without anyone seeing. That's when she got an idea. She became visible again and started to put the costume on. 'Ugh, this stinks' She thinks to herself, noticing the head of the costume stunk like sweaty gym socks. 'I'm definitely taking a shower after school' She tells herself. When she had everything on, she took a deep breath and turned invisible again. Dani walked in front of a nearby mirror and smiled to herself. 'It worked' In the reflection, Dani and the costume were invisible. It gave her the freedom to walk right out and back to her school.

Dani walked back to her school, wearing the dingo costume. She saw that Chase was pacing in front of where they had to watch the costume before. Dani slowly moved and stood, waiting for Chase to notice. Chase turned and jumped back in surprise.
"It's only me..." Dani said through the costume.
"Great, you got it back...but why are you wearing it?" Chase asked his sister before she took off the head.
"I was glitching." Dani simply said, not specifying that it was her invisibility that glitched a little. "That thing smells like old sweaty gym socks..." She gave a disgusted face before hearing Perry. Dani groaned and reluctantly put the head back on. She stood still as Perry walked out of her office.
"I just got off the phone with the principal at deerfield..." Perry said to the students that were in the hall. Dani looked at her though the head as she talked "...he said someone stole their Llama. I hope none of you were dumb enough to do that because it would be illegal and I can't have Johnny law breathing down my neck again." Dani fought the urge to move.
"Again?" Chase asked Perry.
"Let's just say I'm on a lot of lists." Perry added before going back into her office. Dani took the head off again and took a deep breath.
"I am NOT putting that back on." Dani said to Chase, hating how it smelled.
"It can't smell that bad.." Chase said before Dani held it towards him. He took a sniff and almost fainted. Dani smiled a little to herself before getting out of the rest of the costume. She put it back on the stand while Chase recovered from the smell.
"Hey, if I can handle wearing it, you can handle one little sniff." Dani says to Chase before Adam joins them. "Adam...did you bring their llama here?" She asked because he helped her look for the costume at deerfield.
"What llama?" Adam asked, trying to play innocent. Dani and Chase both looked at him. "Of course I didn't..." He added. "It's at the lab." He said. Dani and Chase both looked a little shocked.
"What?" They both asked, not noticing no one looked at them when Adam said lab.

Dani followed Chase and Adam back to the lab.
"I brought him here..." Adam said when they saw the llama by the cyberdesk. Dani shook her head a little, but started to pet the llama.
"You're cute." She says to the llama.
"I can't believe you stole a llama and brought it here." Chase says to Adam.
"I couldn't bring it to school, it's the first place they'd look." Dani looked at Adam, realizing he had a good idea. "Plus I wanted to show it the house. Poor guy is stuck outside all day."
"It's good for him to be outside." Dani told her oldest brother. Chase sighed as he looked at the llama.
"What were you thinking?" He asked as he looked at Adam.
"When I was helping Dani, I saw him outside all lonely." Adam said to Chase as Dani looked towards them. "I wanted to teach those deerfield jerks that if they steal from us there are consequences."
"So you taught them a lesson about stealing, by stealing?" Dani asked. "Good job." She patted Adam's shoulder and earned a disapproving look from Chase. Dani goes to high-five Adam, which was returned. Out the corner of their eyes, they notice Chase jump back.
"Gross." Chase says as we wiped his hand clean.
"Yep, he's a licker, like me." Adam said and Dani shook her head a little. Dani looked at Chase when she heard Chase's watch give an alert.
"Oh no, it's our turn to watch the dingo again." Chase said to Dani. "Principle Perry thought we did suck a good job, she rewarded us by giving us another shift." Dani groaned.
"She is always thinking of others..." Adam said "...what a giver." Dani looked over at Adam.
"You and I must know two different Perry's." Dani said. She started to walk towards the door.
"Where are you going?" Chase asked.
"I'm going going to watch the dingo." Dani said when she turned around. She started to walk backwards as she talked to her brothers. "That way you can deal with the problem Adam created." Dani pointed to the llama. She turned back around. Adam and Chase watched her leave the lab.

Dani returned to school and was soon joined by Adam. Adam got comfortable with the dingo costume while Dani sat in the same spot that she did before. This time she was reading a textbook for one of her classes, so she wouldn't get behind by helping watch the costume.

Dani glanced up to see that Adam had his arm around the dingo costume. It was now on the same stand it was on before. She saw Adam nod his head at people that passed by.
"How's it going?" Adam asked someone who walked by. "What's up man?" He asked a different student before leaning closer to the dingo head. Adam gasped, like the dingo said something. "I can't do that you naughty dingo you." Adam said to the dingo before Chase ran in. Dani saw him and marked the page in the textbook.
"Guys, we got a big problem." Chase says to his siblings.
"We? It's not our fault your hair makes you look like a lady golfer." Adam said as Dani stood up.
"What?" Chase asked, a little confused but got back on topic. "No, the llama ate all of the nanobots. Their biology is different, there's no telling how it will react." He added as Dani stood next to Adam with her textbook. She was about to say something before seeing Perry come in with the llama.
"Why was the deerfield llama outside straddling my hatchback?" Perry asked. Dani shook her head and leaned her head closer to her twin.
"He's full of highly unstable nano bots and you brought him here?" She asked in a whisper. "And you call yourself a genius." Chase didn't say anything to his sister, keeping his eyes on the llama. Dani saw the llama spit on Perry and tried not to laugh.
"It's okay, I speak llama..." Perry says to all that are watching "...it just means he likes me."
"FYI, if I spit on you, that doesn't put mean I like you." Adam says towards his siblings. The llama starts moving around and Chase starts to look a little worried.
"He's getting frisky better grab my lasso..." Perry said as the llama started to walk down the hall "...worked a couple of rodeos in college. Nobody could stay on me for more than 3 seconds."
"Eww." Dani and Adam both said as Perry went into her office.
"We have to do something." Chase said, but mainly towards Dani.
"The llama ate the nanobots on your watch." Dani tells her twin. "That makes it your problem." She added. Dani lost the dingo costume earlier in the day and she got it back without Chase. To her, that meant Chase could fix the llama problem without her. Chase was about to say something to his sister, but Perry came out of the office. She was now carrying a lasso and had a cowboy hat on.
"Alright, anyone who doesn't want to end up face down and hog tied, out of my way." Perry said, which made Dani and her siblings took a step back. Dani took out her phone and started to record Perry. "Yee, ha..." Perry said as she tossed the lasso towards the llama. Dani watched, a little entertained by Perry. "Get over here, come on." Perry tries to pull the llama back to the middle of the hallway. "We got a fighter.." Perry groaned before pulling the llama back to the others. "He fought hard, but once I got his head in a leg lock, it was pretty much over." Dani stopped taking the video and put her phone in her pocket. Perry handed over the rope to Adam. "Keep an eye on him boys. He'll miss me. They always do" Perry walked back in her office as Dani shook her head. 'Somehow I doubt that' She thought to herself before Chase turned to her.
"Do you know how expensive those nanobots are?" Chase asked both Dani and Adam. "We gotta get them out."
"Well, how do you do it on human?" Adam asked Chase.
"You're supposed to extract them individually..." Dani starts to say
"...but with this many, it could take days." Chase says before he stood back. He put his fingers to his forehead and uses his x-ray vision app to find out where the nanobots are in the llama. "Oh no, a bunch of them are gathering in the salivary glands. They're preparing to activate." Chase tells his siblings as he looked back at them.
"What does that mean?" Adam asked.
"That means the next time he spits..." Dani starts to say just as the llama spits. The spit lands on the glass of one of the doors "...it will be destructive." She added when she sees a hole started to form where the spit landed.

Dani watched the llama as it continued to spit. A spit was aimed in her direction and she ducked down.
"That was close." She said to herself before standing back up.
"We have to do something." Chase said. He looked at Dani then to Adam, who was sitting down. "Hurry, help me think." Chase ducks to dodge the llama spit.
"What do you want me to do?" Adam asked as he stood. "It's not like I could just pull an idea out of my head with a giant idea magnet." Chase and Dani looked at each other, both getting the same idea.
"Magnet...yes..." Chase said "...the nanobots are metallic. We can use..."
"...a magnet to pull them out of the llama." Dani and Chase finished at the same time.
"That's a genius idea Adam." Dani said to Adam with a smile. Chase left to go get the magnet, leaving Dani and Adam alone with the destructive llama.

The hallway was now empty besides the llama, Dani and Adam when Chase returned. He brought a magnet and a container with him. He stood on one side of the llama while Dani and Adam were on the other.
"Okay, hold up the magnet. I'll guide you." Chase said. Adam and Dani look at each other.
"Which one of us?" Adam asked. Chase shrugged. Adam and Dani put their fists out and did rock, paper, scissors. They kept getting tied, not seeing that Chase was getting irritated.
"Someone grab the magnet..." He said to his siblings just before Adam won.
"Yes!" Adam cheated before grabbing the magnet.
"Okay.. they're gathering in the femur." Chase says to Adam.
"Got it." Adam said, but then looked confused. " And the femur would be a..."
"Leg." Chase and Dani said at the same time.
"Move it up." Chase added.
"Okay, but I don't see how it will be helping." Adam starts to lift his leg and Dani sighed.
"The llama leg Adam..." She said. Adam looked at Dani before putting his leg down. He then put the magnet near the llama's leg.
"Now bank left." Chase says to Adam. Adam starts moving the magnet towards the llama's butt. "No, left..."
"Adam, wrong way." Dani tells her brother. Adam starts moving the magnet towards the head of the llama.
"You're getting closer...closer, now move up." Dani wanted something to do, so she quickly grabbed the container and held it near the llama's mouth. "Pull up, pull up." Chase told his brother before the llama burped up the nanobots in the container Dani was holding. She quickly put a cover on the container. "Nice. Thanks, you totally bailed me out." He said to his siblings.
"I guess you're welcome." Dani said as she held the container. Chase smiled a little before Perry walked towards them, ruining the mood.
"Good news." Perry said to Adam, Chase and Dani. "Deerfield just wants their llama back no questions asked. Mules, lady locks, man hands... get on it." Dani looked at her siblings, then at her own hands. 'They don't look like man hands' She thought to herself and shook her head. Dani looked up to see that Adam was trying to get the llama to move.
"He won't budge." Adam says to his siblings. "I think there is something wrong with him."
"Oh no, maybe we didn't get all the nanobots out." Chase whispered so Perry wouldn't hear.
"Quit stalling, there's nothing wrong with..." Perry starts to say before the llama farts. The fart made a hole in Perry's hat. It was burned at the top.
"Does that mean he likes you?" Adam asked Perry. Dani couldn't help but laugh a little. Perry shook her head and ended up taking the llama back to deerfield.

After school was over, everyone returned home. It was after dinner when Dani was in her room, finishing a shower. She put on dark purple pajama pants and a light purple tank top on. As she walked out of her bathroom, she couldn't help but look at the photo she had on her bookshelf. It was of her and her dad at her 5th birthday. Dani walked over to it and smiled to herself.
"Dani...?" She turned to see Chase was standing at the doorway.
"...hey..." Dani said to him.
"...I'm sorry." Chase said again to Dani. She sighed, deciding not to be rude.
"I know." Dani tells him. "But I can't forget what you did." She saw the disappointed look on Chase's face. "But you are family and I can try not to have it influence our relationship." She added, still wanting to be mad at her twin. Chase smiled a little.
"Thank you." He said and Dani just gave him a nod. "Good night." He added.
"Good night twin." Dani said before Chase walked away.

Dani walked over to her bed and laid down. She held the dalek plushie her dad got her and slowly fell asleep.

~ I tried not to have this a boring chapter and tried to have it more original than the episode.
~ As you could tell, I changed some stuff because Dani is in the story and to help with the tension between her and Chase. Hopefully you all liked it.

~ The next chapter will be: The Haunting of Mission Creek High. It will hopefully have some scenes of everyone's favorite couple (at least one of my favorites)...Leo/Dani. (Even though they're not official yet).

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE REVIEW!
