~ I'm a little surprised how quickly I updated this and my other Lab Rats story 'This Is War'. I thank the helpful reviews and the fact I don't have much going on in my life right now besides going to see movies, work, and roleplaying. (and of course watching tv)

~ This will hopefully have some scenes that people were hoping to see for a while. I was happy to finally start to write them.

General POV

Dani woke up early and brought her phone with her into her bathroom. She went through her playlists on Spotify and found one that her and her dad put together. It was filled with Jazz music. It wasn't one of her favorites, but she did like to listen to it. She hit play before taking a shower.

Dani was still listening to the music as she decided what to wear. She just went with one of her favorite shirts, a pair of jeans and a black hoodie. She slipped on some sneakers before going down for breakfast.

Dani walked with the phone in her hand, not seeing that Donald was already having breakfast.
"You have the same taste in music as my brother..." Donald said, which made her notice him.
"Oh, yeah..." Dani said and turned off the music. "I guess I just miss him." Donald gave her a sad smile.
"You know...I might have some old pictures of him..." He said. "Did he ever tell you about his afro?"
"Yeah...it was one look he couldn't pull off." Dani says about her father before she got some cereal. When she sat down to eat, they were joined by the others.

After breakfast, Dani went to school with her siblings. She went to her locker, getting her books for class. Out the corner of her eyes, she noticed Bree walked up to her.
"Hey Dani, have you asked anyone to the dance tomorrow?" Bree asked her sister. Dani shook her head.
"No." She said. "Dances aren't really my thing..." Dani added, not saying she has not been to any dances.
"I heard Leo doesn't have a date..." Bree said with a small smile, knowing Dani likes Leo. Dani opened her mouth to say something before hearing someone try and get their attention. They look at see Leo peeking his head out of the gym.
"Hey guys ever have that nightmare where your standing in the middle of the school in nothing but your birthday suit?" Leo asked them. Dani and Bree look at each other, not seeing their brothers had just joined them. "Well, it's happening to me!" Leo stepped out, only wearing a blue towel. Dani looked at Leo and felt bad for him. "Someone stole my clothes while I was in the shower."
"Well, you know when I lose something I find it helps to ask yourself where's the last place you saw it..." Adam says as he steps closer to Leo. Both Dani and Leo look at him, not believing what he was saying. 'It's actually kind of smart...' Dani thinks to herself about her brother.
"On my body." Leo says to Adam.
"And you definitely checked there?" Leo pressed his lips together, trying to stop himself from saying something mean to Adam.
"Who would do that do you?" Dani asked Leo, stepping a little closer. She sees Trent step out of the gym. He was wearing Leo's clothes and had the shoes on his hands.
"Hey Oh!" Trent said, making everyone look at him. Dani rolled her eyes and held back a groan.
"Trent... you stole my clothes?" Leo asked Trent.
"Well, yeah...how else am I supposed to play attack of the giant Trent?" Trent asked Leo. Dani and her siblings shook their heads while Leo looked annoyed. "Fee..Fi, Fo Fum!" Trent said each word a step. "I smell the blood of a wimpy one." He took a big sniff of Leo, from the waist up. "Get it? It's you..." Dani narrowed her eyes at Trent a little, not liking how he was making fun of Leo. Trent made a pose, which ripped a hole in the back of Leo's pants he was wearing. "Oh, tare in aisle two." Trent looks towards Leo. "Looks like your mommy is going to have to buy you clothes at the not big and the not tall store." He laughs and gets away like he is running.
"Why does Trent always pick on me more than anyone else?" Leo asked as he held up the towel.
"Well, I outsmart him. I studied his schedule..." Chase said, which made everyone look towards him "...his routine to ensure we're never alone together. I even know when he's going to take a..." Chase pointed to his watch just before they heard Trent.
"Bathroom break!" Trent says and runs towards the bathroom.
"Right on time." Chase says. Dani and Bree shake their heads.
"You need a life bro..." Dani said as she patted his shoulder.
"And he'll never get one." Adam said and Dani tried not to laugh. Chase glared a little at Adam.
"I'm sick of this." Leo says. "I'm going to offer Trent a choice. Stop picking on me or suffer the consequences." He starts walking towards the gym, but Dani couldn't look. She knew it would turn out bad. She stayed in her spot as Bree went into her locker. Chase and Adam started walking away before they heard Leo scream. Trent came out, waving Leo's towel around. "Camera phones out people, we got a runner." Trent walks away and a group of students try to get into the gym. Dani blocks their path, not wanting Leo to be more embarrassed.
"Go away." She said to them, trying to stand her ground. Some students pushed past her, despite her super strength. She got toppled down while they just walked past her. Dani got knocked into a couple of times, but she was okay.

After a little while, Dani was now standing in front of Perry's office with her siblings. She gently touched where she had a bruise.
"How bad does it hurt?" Chase asked, wanting to be nice with his twin.
"Not bad." She said. "But with our healing, it'll be gone soon." Dani added because bionics automatically gave them accelerated healing. Dani couldn't help but feel bad for Leo, wanting to help him with his problem with Trent. 'How?' She asked herself before seeing Leo come out of Perry's office. Dani saw that Leo was wearing one of Perry's pantsuits. She felt bad for him because Leo obviously didn't want to wear it. Chase looked and became a little freaked out. Adam and Bree got an entertained look on their faces.
"Lost and found didn't have anything so Principle Perry loaned me her emergency pantsuit." Leo said to them before Trent joined them. Dani rolled her eyes and mentally groaned. Trent pulled up the back of the pantsuit over Leo's head.
"Jacket head." Trent smiled and walked away. Dani couldn't help but look at Leo with a sad look, but was definitely was going to give Trent a taste of his own medicine.
"Okay, that's it." Adam said, fed up with Trent. "It's time that me and Trent had a talk. Now he's disrespecting my brother and casual business attire." Dani looked at Trent and got an idea.
"I got an idea." Dani said, which made her siblings and Leo look at her. "Stand in front of me, but face the opposite way and don't move..." They looked a little confused. "Just do it, please?" She asked and Adam moved in front of her. Dani made sure no one was looking before turning invisible. She snuck over to Trent and bent down in front of him. She quickly and carefully untied his shoes before retying them together. Dani smiled to herself as she went back to her siblings. Trent didn't notice by the time she turned visible again. "Done." She said. Chase was about to ask her what she did, but noticed Trent fell over. "I tied his shoelaces together." She whispered to Chase and Adam. Adam smiled and high-fived his sister. Chase gave her a disapproving look. "What?" Dani asked and pointed to herself. "Evil twin." She added with a small smile.

Perry walked out of her office and stood next to Leo.
"Looking good Dooley." She says to him. "Sorry about the crumbs in the pockets. I'm a girl who likes her crackers." Perry added with a little chuckle before walking to the middle of the hallway. "Attention dandruff donkeys. Tomorrow is the homecoming dance and if you don't have a date now...keep asking." Dani couldn't help but glance towards Leo, wanting to ask him. At the same time, she wanted him to ask her. Dani quickly looked away before Leo would have a chance to see her. "I love watching rejection." Perry said and Dani sighed, doubting that she would be at the dance with Leo.
"How many dances have you been to?" Bree asked Perry.
"We're not going there stick pop." Perry said and Dani smiled to herself a little. "Tomorrow is also the 100th anniversary of the demise of jasper the janitor." She started to tell a story. "Flo...Brandy, a little mood lighting." She says to two of the lunch ladies. One of them turns off the lights and the other gives Perry a flashlight. Perry turned on the flashlight and shined it on her face. "It was a dark and gloomy night at mission creek high when a group of kids decided to prank old Jasper."
"What were a bunch of kids doing at school, at night?" Leo asked.
"Irrelevant!"Perry said and Dani sighed. "They decided to scare him when he was cleaning the pencil sharpener. His beard got caught and all they found was Jasper shavings with no one to sweep them up." Dani didn't believe the story, but didn't say anything.
"What about the janitor?" Adam asked. "Ohh...never mind guys, I got there." He added.
"Legends has it that every 10 years Jasper's ghost returns to seek revenge on the students." Perry added to her story and made a sound. They all look towards Trent when he screams.
"I mean...ahhh good story." Dani looked at Trent and got another idea. It was obvious to her that Trent was trying to pretend not to be scared.
"Whenever he returns there is always one kid mysteriously moves away never to be heard from again." The lights turn back on and Perry turns off the flashlight. "Anywho, I'm going on a little vacay. Me and Mr. Whiskers are going to zip-line across the grand canyon." Dani looked at Perry and thought something felt off. "Until then I leave you under the watchful eye of Mrs. Thistle." She points to an elderly lady standing near the stairs. "Thistle!" Perry says louder to get her attention.
"Bingo!" Mrs. Thistle said, which made some students sigh.
"See you in two weeks. Well, whoevers left." Perry laughed and walked out of the school.

Dani shook her head a little and headed to her locker, not seeing her brothers and Leo were following.
"Are we really supposed to believe that the school is haunted?" Chase asked his siblings.
"I think she's lying." Dani said as she opened her locker.
"Jasper's probably just misunderstood." Adam said. "The ghost in my cartoons is very friendly." Leo looks at Adam, then to Trent, who was walking by with someone.
"Do you think the ghost is real?" Trent asked the person. He stopped. "I'm not asking for me...I'm asking for a friend...Brent." Trent continues walking away.
"I got it." Leo said with a smile. "Trent is afraid of ghosts. We can use your bionics to create one and scare him. Then he'll be humiliated and he won't do it to me anymore." Dani smiled a little.
"I'm in." Dani said, wanting to help Leo.
"Leo... do you think anyone will really buy the school is a haunted just cuz I do this?" Chase asked before using his Molecular Kinesis to move a broom across the hall. The students that were on the other end of the hall ran out of the school screaming. "Alright, let's make some ghosts." He said and Dani smiled.
"Yes." Leo said and high-fived Chase and Dani.

After school Dani went to the mall. She couldn't help but look at the dresses, mainly the ones that were on sale. She could afford the more expensive ones, but she would rather spend that money on tech or books. Dani saw a nice pink dress with spaghetti straps. She tried it on in a dressing room and liked it. 'But if I go to the dance, it'll be alone' Dani thinks and sighs. She decides to buy the dress anyway before walking out of the store.

Dani walked towards the bookstore before bumping into someone. When she looked and saw it was Leo, she tried to hide a blush
"Hey..." Dani says to him.
"What did you get?" Leo asked. Dani held the bag behind her back.
"Nothing." She said, not wanting Leo to see the dress she bought. "...what are you doing here?"
"I needed to get out. Bree is studying with Owen." Dani nodded, understanding why Leo wouldn't want to be in the house at the same time as them.
"Well I was gonna go to the bookstore..." Dani starts to say "...do you want to come with?" She asked and Leo smiled a little.
"Sure." He said and they started to walk to the bookstore. Leo glanced at the bag and noticed a dress inside. The real reason he was at the mall was to ask Dani to the homecoming dance, but he was too nervous. 'How can I ask him to the dance?' Dani asked herself, trying not to seem nervous.
'How can I ask her to the dance?' Leo asked himself as he carefully tried to hold her hand.
"Here we are." Dani said just when they got to the bookstore. Leo gave a small smile as they walked in.

~The Next Day~

Dani was in the school hallway with her brothers and Leo. She wondered if Leo was going to ask her to the dance later that night. Chase noticed the look on Dani's face. He wanted to help her out, but didn't know how.
"Adam, can you stop pacing?" Dani asked Adam, who stood still. "Thanks..."
"I thought you said Trent was coming?" Leo asked Chase, who was leaning against the wall near Dani. Dani looked at Chase, who looked at his watch.
"Well, he should be." Chase said. "His morning bathroom break was due five minutes ago." Dani shook her head as Trent hurries in. Chase, Leo, and Adam hide and Dani turns invisible
"Gotta go, gotta go, gotta go." Trent said and did a little run towards the bathroom. Chase used molecular kinesis to open and close a locker door. Trent jumped back and screamed.
"Whoa..who's there?" Trent asked, clearly scared. "You don't know who you're messing with. I'm seven years older than anyone else here..." Dani rolled her eyes and started making loud steps to scare Trent. He screamed when Leo started turning the lights on and off. Chase continued to make the locker doors open and close. Adam carefully gets behind the lockers and pushes all of them towards Trent. "Oh, no. Please no.." Trent begged as Dani made her footsteps louder, making Trent believe a ghost was right behind him. Dani tapped Trent's shoulder and made him scream louder. He ran out the school before Leo turned the lights back on. Dani turned visible again as Adam walked out from behind the lockers.
"That was incredible." Leo said and Dani smiled.
"It was amazing." Dani said to Leo.
"That worked perfectly." Chase said as the four of them high-fived each other.
"Woo! Be right back." Adam said before heading to the bathroom. Dani looked at her twin and Leo.
"You are a genius Leo." Dani said, which made Leo smile.

Later that day, Adam, Chase, Dani and Leo were gathered by the stairs, watching Trent. Dani watched Trent back away from opening his own locker. 'Dad would be proud' She couldn't help but think about how scared they were able to make Trent.
"Check it out, he's afraid to open up his own locker." Leo said to Adam and Chase as he looked at Trent.
"Ugh...so am I." Adam said. "My dirty gym clothes have been in there for over a month."
"Eww." Dani said in disgust. "Why don't you bring them home?" Adam didn't answer.
"Hey, watch this..." Leo said before dropping his book. Trent jumped and screamed. Dani laughed a little.
"Why are you coming after me ghost?" Trent asked as he moved into a corner. "Is it because I'm a bully? I can change...I'm nice to my rabbit." Some students start to laugh at Trent.
"Alright Leo...I think Trent has had enough." Chase said and Dani looked at her brother. "We've been torturing him all day."
"One day. He's been bullying me for years." Leo said in his defence "So cancel your Christmas plans boys. We're working." Dani looked at Leo.
"Sorry, I don't work on Christmas." She said. "Everyone gets that day off." Chase sighed.
"Look at him Leo." Chase said as he pointed to Trent. Trent was in the fetal position rocking back and forth on the ground. "We've scared him so badly he's a shell of a man."
"He wasn't a man to begin with..." Dani said to her twin. Chase looked at her and glared a little bit. Dani brushed it off and went to her locker.

Dani listened in once she saw Leo walk over to Trent. She personally thought Trent got what he deserved, but at the same time knew they did a little too much to him. 'It's not like he was physically hurt' Dani thinks to herself. She closed her locker and leaned her back against it. She looked at Trent talking to Adam, Chase and Leo before getting an idea. Dani hid on the side of the lockers and started moving the round thing with telekinesis.
"Ghost!" She heard Trent scream before running away. She laughed a little.
"Chase, I thought you said he had enough..." Leo said to Chase.
"That wasn't me..." Chase said before looking around. He saw Dani's head peaking out from the side of the lockers.
"Then who was it?" Adam asked.
"Dani..." Chase said, which made them look towards her.
"Sorry, couldn't resist." Dani said to Chase. "But that's not me..." She points to the locker next to Bree's when she sees a red goo come out of it. Leo made a sacred sound before paper shot up from the trash cans and landed all over the floor. Chase and Adam jumped before it happened again.
"It's Jasper!" Leo practically screams as he jumps into Adam's arms. "You said there was no such thing as ghost. All your smart guy credibility is shot." Leo said after a few minutes to Chase. He got out of Adam's arms and straightened his shirt.
"You know, scientifically speaking, there are such things as ghosts." Dani said, just to prove her brother wrong. "What? Have you not seen any paranormal reality TV?" She asked when Chase looked at her.
"There has to be some other explanation..." Chase said, slightly ignoring his sister "..like why the paper shot out from the garbage. It's an old school, maybe the building settled." Dani rolled her eyes at her twin.
"Or maybe the ghost is targeting us." Leo said as he got face to face with Chase.
"There is no ghost here..." Dani said, not believing the place was really haunted
"It's not targeting us." Chase added to Leo.
"Uh, guys..." Adam said, interrupting them. He pointed to the wall above the lockers, which made Chase, Dani and Leo look. The red goo was spelling out their names on the wall.
"That could be any Adam, Chase, Dani and Leo..." Chase said, attempting to calm himself down. They looked to see that the goo was spelling 'I mean you!' "Okay, that's us. Run!" Chase said before screaming and running out of the school. Leo followed Chase in a run. Dani watched them and sighed. 'They are idiots' She thinks and calmly walks out of the school.

After school, everyone was at the house. Adam, Chase and Leo were in the lab creating something. Bree and Dani were in their rooms, getting ready for the dance.

Dani was in her room as she stood in front of the mirror. She was wearing the pink dress that she had bought the day before. 'It feels nice' She thinks to herself about the dress. Dani did a basic look for her make-up before wanting to do something with her hair. 'Maybe Bree has an idea...' She thinks before going to Bree's room.
"Hey..." Dani said as she peeked her head in.
"Nice dress..." Bree said. Dani felt over-dressed when she saw that Bree was wearing jeans, a Tshirt and a cowgirl hat.
"Too much?" Dani asked her sister, not being the best with fashion.
"Leo will love it."
"Yeah...I didn't ask him..." Bree looked a little sad. She got up and pulled her sister in the room.
"Once he sees you, in that dress..." Bree started to say "...he'll ask you to dance." Dani just gave her sister a small smile, not believing it.
"Can you do my hair?" Dani asked, which made Bree smile.
"Leave it to me." Bree forced Dani to sit down before working on her hair.

Bree and Dani were the first of their siblings to get to the dance. Dani borrowed some low heels and a jacket from Bree to match the dress she was wearing.
"Wow..." Dani said as she looked at the gym "...you did a good job." She added as she looked at Bree. Bree smiled a little and handed her sister a cup of punch. Dani smiled back and looked around. 'No Leo' She thinks to herself before taking a sip of the punch.

A few minutes later, Adam, Chase and Leo crashed in. They were all wearing ghostbusters suits, but they were blue. Dani sighed, disappointed. A part of her was happy that Leo did show up, but at the same time she was disappointed. He was more concerned about the 'ghost' than the dance. Dani looked over to Bree and went over to her brothers.
"What are you guys doing?" She asked in a whisper.
"Have you seen any ghosts?" Chase asked his twin and Dani sighed.
"The school is not haunted." Dani said to them, not believing there was a real ghost.
"Yes it is.." Adam said and Dani shook her head a little. "I hope Jasper gets here soon. The men's room is out of toilet paper."
"Whatever..." Dani said in slight defeat as she re-joined Bree. She didn't see that Leo watched her walk away.
"What are they doing?" Bree asked her sister.
"They think the story Perry told is true." Dani said. "They ghost hunting."
"But there's no such thing as ghosts..." Bree said.
"Yeah there is." Dani said. "But there's no ghost here..."

Owen joined the girls, but mainly talked to Bree. Dani stood there, feeling like a third wheel before her brothers and Leo came running back in. Dani looked to see what looked like the ghost of Jasper flying through the air.
"Run for your lives!" Leo shouts before shooting a blaster at the 'ghost'. The blast went right through the ghost as Dani ducked behind a barrel with her sister. Dani made sure she could still see as she saw her brother's blasts destroy some of the decorations.
"My brothers are idiots..." Dani mutters to herself as Adam shoots at the ceiling, making some stuff stuff fall down. They keep missing Jasper's 'ghost' until it was right between Chase and Leo.
"Yo, Jasper!" Chase said as he aimed his blaster. "Get out your mop."
"It's about to get messy." Leo said. Chase and Leo both shot their blasters at the 'ghost'. It went through and their blasts hit each other. Dani felt bad when they both fell to the floor and started twitching. Adam walked to them, the only one not hit.
"What?" Leo asked some students who were staring at him. "You never saw a kid in a ghostbusters outfit twitching before?" He finished as Chase groaned.
"Adam, suck it up." Chase said as he looked up to his brother.
"Chase, I'm being as brave as I can." Adam said as he looked at Chase and Leo.
"The ghost. Suck up the ghost." Chase said.
"Oh, right." Adam took out a handheld vacuum cleaner. Dani saw it and rolled her eyes as Adam aimed it at the 'ghost'. Adam followed the ghost the a curtain. He kept it aimed at the ghost, but instead of sucking up the ghost, he pulled down the curtain.

When the curtain was down, it revealed Perry and some guy standing behind it. Dani was a little surprised to see Perry at the dance, but less surprised to see that she was behind the 'ghost'.
"Hello..." Perry said, trying to be casual as she took a few steps forward. "Everyone having a nice homecoming?" Dani slowly stands up and walks over to her brothers.
"Principle Perry? You're the ghost?" Leo asked as Dani stood next to him.
"I thought you were on vacation." Chase said as he stood on the other side of his twin.
"I am, truth be told, I can't think of a more enjoyable way to relax than scaring kids." Perry answered and laughed a little.
"How are you still employed?" Bree asked. Perry just gave a shrug silently saying 'I don't know'
"So, who's that guy?" Dani asked, pointed to the guy near the door.
"Tom Belgarden." Perry answered. "He owns a special effects house. We met when I had a small role in Space Wars."
"I thought I recognized you." Leo said with a small smile "You were one of the furry forest creatures."
"I'd do the harvest dance for you, but I save that for fan conventions." Perry said to Leo. "Anywho, Tom's the real genius behind this. I just push the buttons and laugh."
"So wait, if you wanted to mess with everyone, why did you just come after the four of us?" Chase had to ask Perry.
"Scaring kids is my thing." Perry said to Chase. "You were stepping on my turf. Although the lockers thing with Trent, was genius. I still haven't figured out how you did it."
"A true magician never reveals his tricks." Chase said with a small smile.
"Remote control..." Dani said before Adam could say anything.
"Wait a minute, I'm so confused." Trent said, letting people know he was still there. "Ghost are real, yes or no?"
"No." Adam, Chase and Leo said at the same time Dani said "Yes."
"So you guys were messing with me?" Trent asked.
"Yes." Adam, Chase, Dani and Leo all said before Trent looked to Perry.
"And you were messing with me?"
"Walking it off Mitzy." Perry said to Trent before walking away. Dani noticed Trent turn to Leo.
"Deals off Dooley." Trent said. "I hope you like wearing your underwear as a hat...cuz that's where it's going to be. Ah yo...undie head." Trent started to run out. Dani watched him and subtlely used molecular kinesis to trip him. Trent got up, trying to pretend nothing happened before continuing.
"A underwear hat...how could I not think of that..." Adam said and Dani shook her head a little.

After some of the students got back to dancing, Chase nudged Leo towards Dani.
"Hey..." Leo said to Dani. "That's a nice dress..." Dani smiled.
"Thanks." She said, not really knowing what to say in their situation. Dani saw Bree behind Leo, giving her a look to ask Leo to dance. Leo saw Chase behind Dani, doing the same to him.
"Do you want to dance?" Leo and Dani asked each other at the same time. They both blushed and ended up dancing together.

At the end of the night, Dani was tired out. She took a shower and saw a small box on her bed. She sat down and saw a note on top.
'I found these for you ~ Donald' Dani smiled a little. She opened the box and saw pictures. They were old polaroid pictures. She looked at them and noticed they were all of her dad when he was growing up. Dani had to wipe her eyes when she felt tears. 'He looked cute' She thought to herself before hearing footsteps. When she looked up, she saw Donald. He didn't say anything as Dani sped up and hugged him, which took him by surprise.
"Thank you." Dani said as Donald returned the hug.
"You're welcome." Donald said. She slowly broke the hug. "Good night." He added before slowly walking away. Dani closed her door and looked through the photos for a while before going to bed.

~ I tried to keep the unplanned scene in the beginning with Donald a part of the chapter, which explains the final scene. I didn't even plan for the hug, but I felt like in that moment...it would have happened.

~ So, as you read... Dani and Leo had their first dance. They also wanted to ask each other to the dance but were too nervous. It is however, not their first official date. That won't happen yet. I also wanted to have some moments between Dani and her siblings since she grew up without them.

~ I'm thinking that the next chapter might be Perry 2.0 or Prank You Very Much. After that I will be doing Twas The Mission Before Christmas before getting to the season 2 finale. Once I finish season 2, Season 3 will be posted as a brand new story. Hopefully that will happen before the end of the year.

~ I stayed up late to finish this chapter so I hope you will be nice and review this chapter with your thoughts and ideas.
