So it's been a really long time, I know. The more time passed the more I couldn't continue this story because it felt sort of out of place. As you grow, you grow out of the writing style you once had. You grow out of the ideas you once had for a story.

I looked back on this story because of a recent review. Reviews encourage me so much to keep writing! And I love this story and the idea I had for it. So I want to continue it.

I just can't continue it like this. There are so many thinks I want to change because the girl who wrote this story 3 years ago was 14-year-old me. Now 17 year old me has so many more ideas for this story! I'm not the girl who wanted everything to end up perfectly for Ahsoka in the end. And although I guess killing off her mother isn't perfect, my direction for Ahsoka's future wasn't strong enough with emotions. There wasn't enough storyline basically for my taste now.

Plus I just cringe now at the way I wrote back then.

I need to update some things. I really think I can improve this story!

I really think I will be able to finally breathe and continue on with the story once I change some things.

So, I'm going to rewrite these chapters I have already published. I will post the updated chapters all on the same day so I don't confuse anyone with old and new chapters mixed together.

If you've already read this far and still want to continue reading this story, you may not think it's worth rereading the last chapters you've already read. But I'm not just editing grammar this time! You definitely should go back and read the updated chapters once I post them…

If you continue to read but don't read the updated chapters, you will get confused.

You'll still have the same story line idea, so don't worry! But I'm adding way more to the characters and to Ahsoka's past.

I'm making Nathaniel and Nicolette more interesting, including their relationship. Because let's face it, I still made their relationship way to perfect for my taste. I mean why didn't Nathan just leave the order if he was so perfect and loved his family so much? There's got to be more of a reason than the Agri-Corps. Which I'm sure doesn't even happen to Jedi who leaves the order, so I'm changing that too.

If Nicolette loved Ahsoka so much and disliked the Jedi, why did she give Ahsoka up so easily when Plo Koon gave her the option for her and her family to be put somewhere else that is safer? If Nathan was gone for so long, how did that not poke at Nicolette and Nathan's relationship? Was Nicolette really willing to take herself and Ahsoka away from their tribe at one point to live a life in the city?

People can't be perfect all the time. So I really want to show Ahsoka's parents and how imperfect they really are. This will basically change a lot of where I wanted this story to go, but for the better!

I won't change the locations or anything serious. But this is a way better direction for the story

I want it to go a very different direction. One filled with laughter and tears. You'll see soon enough, I just hope that anyone who is still reading will give this a chance!

I think you will find the updated chapters really interesting. And hopefully, as I continue this story, more people will start reading as well.
