Jonouchi's POV
I stopped by the Ramaun shop to eat, I was starving. "Hey there young man what will it be?"
"I'll get the beef soup. That sounds good." I sat down and chowed down on some soup. "Say you're one of 'em duelist aren't you?" one of the costumers asked. "Why yes I am." I got fussed at by another costumer and had to take my duel disk off. That was a big mistake. I felt a guy brushed by me and I glanced over just in time to see him take my duel disk. "HEY GET BACK HERE YOU LITTLE THEIF!" I chased after that guy for a while until I got to him. "You little bastard!"
"Here here! I'm sorry…you see someone stole my deck and duel disk…I needed to try to get it back." This got me feeling bad for the guy. "Even if you used my deck it wouldn't have helped you…you know what…I'll…" just then I heard a familiar voice from behind me. "Jonouchi!" Looking back. I saw Anzu, Ryou, and Grandpa Motou. "Guys your out here too!?"
"Off course, we wanted to make sure to see all the duels you and Yugi win." Anzu said. "Great…I'm going after a thieving duelist. So if you want…" Ryou frowned. "Why would you go after a theif?"
"Because I want to become as good a duelist as Yami…and I know for a fact that he would not stand by and let a thief get away." Anzu nodded. "I know that but…" I shook my head. "No but…hey…can I tell you my other reason for being in the tournament? You can't tell Yugi or Yami."
"Yea okay."
"It's for my sister…she…" Anzu's eyes grew large. "Wait I thought you said the surgery was a success…"
"It was…but Serenity won't take the bandages off. She is scared that when she take the bandages off, she won't be able to see. So I am fighter for her…to give her courage because I want her to see me as a true duelist." I quickly made my way to find the theif. Little did I know that I was tricked.
Kisimra's POV
I got four puzzle cards already and all four opponents were rare hunters and all four were ruthlessly sent away, consumed by ammit. The weaker half was angry and terrified that I was doing her job as general. I walked through the park and noticed Jonouchi and Haga were getting ready to duel. "I guess I can watch. Then get the last two puzzle cards."
Honda's POV
I waited at the train station. After learning that Serenity wasn't taking her bandages off, I thought it would be helpful if I got her to her brother. It was also because I wanted to see her again. Then I ran into Otogi, "Otogi…what are you…"
"Uh…well…" I shook my head. "Never mind. I need to get Jonouchi's sister…"
"Sister? Jonouchi has a sister?" I nodded. "Yep she is the prettiest girl I have ever seen." Otogi smirked. "Maybe I should come along…besides I'm still in debt to you guys after what my father did to Yugi." I was a little wary of this but I let Otogi come along.
We got to the hospital in Yonezato and found Serenity's room. "Hey Serenity." She moved her head up and gave a small smile. "Hi Honda-kun…what brought you over this way?"
"I came to pick you up and take you to see your brother." Serenity frowned. "I…" I smiled. "You know he would really like it if you took your bandages off to see him duel. He thinks about you every time he duels. You give him courage." Serenity sighed. "I just wish I could have that same courage." She started to cry. Otogi frowned. "Serenity right? Well you had the courage to go through your surgery…why not take the bandages off?" Serenity looked up and frowned. "I'm afraid that the surgery didn't work. What if…"
"Those questions, You can't let them hold you back." I just glared at Otogi. Damn flirt. "Anyway…Serenity I brought some of my older sister's clothing. I wasn't sure if you had a change of clothing."
"Thank you Honda…"
Jonouchi's POV
"HAGA YOU LITTLE ROACH!" I shouted at Haga. Anzu frowned. "Jonouchi…don't even give that little cheat the honor of a duel! He threw Yugi's exodia cards into the ocean." Haga laughed. "I'm happy that a cute girl remembered me." Anzu cringed. "Actually Jonouchi…kick his ass." I glared. "I know you are a contestant Haga…you know why I am here you theif."
"Of course so lets duel!"
Jonouchi: 4000
Haga: 4000
"Lets do a double wager. Two puzzle cards and a rare card." I smirked. "Alright." I only had two so I can't just lose this one. But in the up side if I won…I would do exactly what Yami did in duelist kingdom and kick Haga out of the tournament. "Okay I go first I summon Panther warrior in attack mode." Haga smirked. "I lay a face down and then summon Skull mark ladybug in defense mode."
"Ug…bugs…always f**king bugs…don't you ever try anything else?"
"Why would I do that? Bugs are the strongest living creatures."
"Whatever I summon Little Winguard in attack mode then attack with Panther warrior!" Skull mark Ladybug was killed but then Haga smirked. "Thanks for the extra life points. Every time Skull mark Ladybug is killed it gives me a five hundred boost."
Jonouchi: 4000
Haga: 4500
Shit…I need to read the small print. "I now summon Pinch Hopper in defense mode. I just dare you to attack." Crap, I need to get around that trap card without…hey wait a second. I have just the card to do that. "I draw…what the?" I had a card that I didn't originally have. Parasite Paracide? Haga started to laugh loud. "What's wrong Jonouchi…don't recognize the card you drew? You're forced to play that card now."
"HAGA YOU CHEAT HOW DID YOU…"
"Why not ask that kid who took your deck and disk." That slim ball! He put that kid up to it and slipped a bug in my deck. I was forced to summon this bug to the field. Just then it reached out and effected both my monsters. "THE HELL MAN! My monsters got tentacles growing out of them!"
"YUK YUK YUK! NOW EVERY MONSTER YOU PLAY WILL BE EFFECTED BY FLESH EATING WORMS!" Ryou frowned out of confusion. "Why would…" Anzu glared in anger. "THAT ISN'T JONOUCHI'S CARD! HAGA YOU CHEAT!"
"Stay out of the duel!" Haga yelled at Anzu. I glared. "DON'T YELL AT HER HAGA!" Maybe I could still sacrifice my monsters. " I sacrifice my two monsters to summon my Jinzo…" but nothing happened. "What…wait don't tell me…I can't sacrifice infected monsters right?" Haga nodded. "Took you long enough to notice." I frowned. I have to come up with something. But Haga was just pissing me off. "I attack!"
"You activated my trap card Insect barrier!" Damn it…I let my anger get me on that one. Now that my monsters were infected, they were consider bugs. What could I do? He completely shut down my deck. "JONOUCHI DON'T CLOSE YOUR EYES THAT'S WHEN YOU REALLY LOSE!" I gasped. Anzu was right. "Don't say that! I was just thinking of a way to kick this freaks ass."
"Jeez don't you ever give up? I active the spell card Insecticide. To destroy Pinch hopper." I frowned. Shit now he could summon any insect card. "I summon my rare monster…INSECT QUEEN!" when it comes to big bugs, this monster took the cake.
