Jonouchi's POV
I was with my sister and we were looking out the window as we took off. "Look Serenity look at that view."
"It's beautiful!" I loved that my sister was able to see again. "Hmph…Really happy aren't we, Ignorant duelist."
"Kaiba…Why I oughta…" Yugi hurried over to me. "Calm down Jonouchi, He is just messing with you." Kaiba then turned his attention to Yugi. "Yugi I know you don't have the god card in your deck. I can't not accept that Yugi…so you better put your god card in your deck for the next duel." Kaiba walked away and Yugi took a deep breath. The announcer came out. "Eight rooms have been set up for the eight finalists, Keys have been given to you. The first match up will be made in one hour. So be ready."
We went to our rooms. "Hey…I need to be myself for a little bit. Is that okay with you?" I smiled "Sure…I'll see you in an hour." I headed over to my room, where everyone else came in. "What…what the hell guys!"
"Sweet room Jonouchi! A guy could get use to this." Honda and Otogi complemented. "Guys really I need to concentrate on the next duel."
"We'll were here to hang out." Honda said with a gleeful look, I just groaned. "Well why not bug Yugi then!"
"No way, he needs to concentrate on the next duel."
"DID YOU GUYS FORGET THAT I NEED TO CONCENTRATE TOO! I'M IN THIS TOURNAMENT TO YOU KNOW!"
Yugi's POV
"Okay…the god card is in the deck." I talked to Yami as we tweaked our deck. "Hmph…I wonder who is the eighth duelist."
"Hu? Now that you mention it…we didn't see the eight duelist."
"Right…so who could it be?" The hour was up and we made our way up to the center room and I let Yami take over.
Yami's POV
We waited to see who was going to go first in the finals. Roland (Whom is Kaiba's assistance for those who don't know that.) stood next to this bingo machine. "This machine will determine the first two duelist after a duel is won we will draw from the remaining duelist to decide the next, basically you won't know who you are dueling until right before a match." I narrowed my eyes and scanned the room and the other duelist. Only seven. The machine started up and picked. "Number seven…Ryou Bakura."
"Wha…me?" Jonouchi smirked. "You'll do fine Ryou…we believe in ya'." The machine picked another duelist. "Number five…Yugi Mouto." Ryou turned pale really quick. "I'm facing off…against…Yugi?!" I smiled. "Just do your best Ryou…I promise I don't bite." Then there was a dark smirk on his face. I narrowed my eyes. Could it be a trick of the light? "Now the two duelist will take the spiral escalator to the aerial duel arena, if the other duelist want to watch, come with me."
We went up to the arena and with was chilly. I looked over and noticed that my friends were shaking from the cold but had hopeful smiles on their faces. The dark look came to Ryou's face again. "Well well pharaoh…it's been a while since we've last dueled."
"Bakura…I knew it…how long have you been in control?" the gang gasped. "What the evil Bakura is in control?" I then looked over at Kisimra whom had a dark look in her eyes, as if she knew that Bakura was in control. Namu frowned, "What do you mean?"
"Well the millennium items have this intelligence in them, like a spirit. Well Yugi has the millennium puzzle and his other half is the spirit we call Yami…you see Yami is in control right now and he is really a good guy once you get to know him. Ryou has the millennium Ring but his other half is evil." Anzu then chimed in. "That's right the Evil spirit in the ring tried to kill us one time." Namu frowned. "I see…" Jonouchi looked back up to us and have a worried look on his face. His thoughts must be the same as mine right now. This duel wasn't going to be easy. Roland cleared his throat. "Okay duelist cut and shuffle each other's decks." Bakura and I took each other's decks and shuffled. "I never thought I would face you in cards."
"Well I'll admit I had fun with our table top RPG. Even though I lost."
"Are you after the puzzle again?" Bakura gave a sly smirk. "Maybe I am…or maybe I just want to have a bit of fun." I just frowned. "Really? Why do I find that hard to believe?"
"Oh fine…I want to be the duel king and the only way I can do that is to beat you and get the god cards." His voice was dripping with sarcasms. We took our positions and started the duel.
Yami Yugi: 4000
Ryou Bakura: 4000
"It's my move Pharaoh!" Bakura drew his card and smirked. "I summon The portraits secret in attack mode." I narrowed my eyes and a smirk pulled at the corner of my lips. "Okay then I summon Baphomet and destroy your Portraits secrets."
Yami Yugi: 4000
Ryou Bakura: 3800
"Then I set a card face down and end my turn." Bakura rolled his eyes. "Okay… then I summon the gross ghost of fled dreams in attack mode." I frowned. Why would he play a monster with lower attack in attack mode? "I summon gamma the magnet warrior and attack your monster. Then Bephomet will attack you directly."
Yami Yugi: 4000
Ryou Bakura: 2200
Bakura smirked. "Alright then I summon Headless knight in attack mode and end my turn." This threw me off. Why was he summoning weaker monsters? Then I could see the look in his eyes, He wanted me to attack but why? "Gamma the magnet warrior attacks your Headless knight and Bephomet attacks you directly again."
Yami Yugi: 4000
Ryou Bakura: 750
"Ha…HAHAHAHAHA!" This surprised me. "Pharaoh…you played right into my hands!"
"What!?" Bakura smirked at my obvious confusion. "There is one monster in my deck that requires a special summon. One that requires three monsters to be destroyed in attack mode within the first five turns." Shit…I knew he was up to something but is played right into his trap. Bakura smirked. "In other words, I summon Dark Necrofear!" a dark shadow rose and Dark Necrofear came. There was a chill down my back and it wasn't from the wind, yet there was also an adrenalin rush in my veins. I didn't expect Bakura to summon a monster in such a way and in a weird way, I was enjoying this. Bakura smiled. "Her special abilities are very strong." I looked on at the monster and though my heart was racing, this monster still had an icy aura, something very disturbing about it. "I'm not done yet. I set one card face down and end my turn." I frowned. He could have easily attack my monster…yet he doesn't. Why didn't he? "I sacrifice Baphomet to summon Dark magician girl."
"Do you think your little magic girl can defeat me Pharaoh? You must be losing your touch old man." I smirked.
"I've noticed that you look a bit worried about my face down card. You must think that it is a trap." Bakura frowned. "That card isn't a trap."
"No…I activate the spell card, Magic formula. Once Dark Magician girl is down with this book…she will be more powerful than Dark Necrofear." I smirked. "DARK MAGICIAN GIRL! ATTACK DARK NECROFEAR!" Bakura smirked.
Yami Yugi: 4000
Ryou Bakura: 450
"Ha ha ha…Thank you Pharaoh, now you will see Dark Necrofear's true powers."
