"Hey, is it true that you guys went to Vegas and helped those magicians?" Connie asked Cherry and Atticus.
Cherry's face turned bright pink slightly.
"Yep, it's true." Atticus nodded.
"Cherry, why are you blushing?" Darla asked with a smirk.
"Eh, I dunno..." Cherry lied.
"Liar." Mo smirked.
"Mm..." Cherry looked away.
"That must've been cool," Connie smiled. "I wish I could've met them... Did that little one ever say anything to you? I mean, he never talks on stage."
"Yeah, he did talk after a while." Cherry said.
"Cherry has a crush on him." Atticus said with a smirk.
"ATTICUS!" Cherry hissed.
This caused for them to laugh. Cherry turned even pinker and bit her lip as she looked around with her eyes darting back and forth.
"That's cute." Darla smiled.
"Do you know if those magicians have any shows tonight, Connie?" Mo asked.
"Not to my knowl-" Connie was about to say, then pointed. "Oh, look, there they are!"
The others looked to see the famed magicians in casual clothes, walking out of a grocery store together with bags in their hands. Cherry gasped and ducked down to the floor of the car to avoid being seen. Atticus simply smirked as he brought her back up with his strength.
"Stop it!" Cherry nudged him and went back down.
Darla took out her phone and snapped a picture.
"Aw, great, tourists..." Penn sighed. "We've been spotted!"
"Hey, guys!" Atticus called.
Teller turned his head. Patch popped his head out and panted.
Teller beamed and came over and pet the puppy. "Hey, buddy, I haven't seen you in a while!"
"It sure has been a while." Patch smiled.
"Oh, cootchy-cootchy-coo~" Teller cooed as he fluffed up with Patch.
Patch smiled back and nuzzled against the man. Cherry kept hiding away.
Penn looked over and smirked. "Heeey, is someone hiding away from us?"
"Shush!" Cherry glared.
"Cherry...?" Teller asked.
Cherry smiled nervously and slowly slid up to show herself to the two magicians. "Hellloooo~..." she then waved weakly to the two celebrities.
Penn soon came over to the other side of the car to where Mo was. Cherry then sunk in her seat again.
"Oh, um, hello..." Penn greeted the former street urchin.
"Hi..." Mo giggled nervously. "Wow, I'm meeting a celebrity up close..."
Penn began to try to flirt with her until he saw Atticus with her.
"Uh, Penn?" Atticus asked.
"Hm?" Penn looked over.
"Mo's my girlfriend..." Atticus said.'
"Oh!" Penn smiled nervously. "Of course she is!"
Teller started to smirk at his partner.
"Shut up." Penn glared to him.
"You sound so intelligent..." Connie said to Teller. "You remind me of my old Latin tutor back when I lived in Los Angeles."
"Funny," Teller replied. "Before I became a magician, I was a Latin teacher in a high school in Los Angeles."
"What a weird coincidence." Darla said.
"I'll say." Teller smiled to her.
"Irony." Patch smirked which made Colette and Ellie May giggle.
"Well, I guess we better get going home," Teller said. "We're kinda taking a break nowadays, it's a vacation though still at home."
"Yep, so we better get going." Penn said as he got himself and Teller back to their groceries home.
"Well, it was nice seeing you," Atticus smiled. "See you guys around."
"See ya!" Penn waved as Connie then drove the car off.
Cherry looked back at the two as they drove off, then looked away.
"Now I can see why you have a crush on Teller," Darla said. "He's cute."
"Who? Teller?" Cherry turned pink again. "I don't love him, I mean love him, I mean like him,..."
"Ooh." Darla smirked.
Cherry gripped her collar.
"Nice to see those kids again..." Penn walked with Teller as they were on their way to his place. "Maybe we should treat them to dinner with that foxy blonde mama."
"Y-Yeah." Teller smiled nervously.
"What's on your mind?" Penn smirked, sensing his nervousness.
"N-Nothing." Teller said.
"Teller..." Penn said.
Teller whistled innocently and walked off.
Penn then smirked. "Raymond Joseph~"
Meanwhile with Connie and the others...
Cherry lazily played with her phone as Connie continued to show everyone around until they would get to the theater where she worked at. And where they even saw a building where they had body-builder's and any men who wanted to get strong prove they are the strongest out of the others and where they closed with perfect enough time for them to still make it to the theater.
Connie then parked her car. "We'll have lunch in the buffet and when the sun starts to set, it'll be time for the show to start."
"Cool!" Atticus, Mo, Darla, Cherry, Patch, Colette, and Ellie May smiled.
"And look, this new building is having a strength contest." Darla smiled.
Atticus looked eager. "Think we have time to stop inside, Miss Connie?"
"Well, they do close at the same time the show starts, so sure, why not?" Connie smiled.
"Go and blow them away, Hercules." Mo smirked at Atticus.
Atticus smirked back. "You got it, Babe." His eyes then widened once he realized what he just called Mo.
This caused Mo to blush while giggling.
"Babe?" Cherry smirked teasingly to Atticus to get back at him.
"I was caught in the moment." Atticus smiled bashfully.
"Well then, come on then; let's get inside, so then you can teach these guys a lesson about strength." Darla said.
Atticus rubbed his arm sheepishly. Connie parked her car and decided to show them into the strongman's area for Atticus. And where they saw what the prize was for the winner a championship belt.
"Hm..." Atticus liked the sound of that. "Let's go!"
They soon saw a table with two people at it; telling them that must be where Atticus must register into the contest they seemed to be having for the championship belt.
"Is this where I sign-up?" Atticus asked one of the ladies behind the table.
"Yep, just put your name, age and other information in here." One woman handed the boy a clipboard with a perky smile.
Atticus smiled back as he began to do all of that as he signed in on the clipboard. The ladies then waited as other people came to sign in.
After a while, Atticus was done signing in. The lady then took the clipboard back and gave Atticus a number to wrap around his neck. Once after that, he went to where the other competitors were. There were many tough and brutal men who glared to Atticus. There were only few women.
Atticus gave small smiles to them all, then glanced as he thought he saw someone familiar within the crowd. "Atlas?"
"Atticus!" Atlas smiled.
Atticus ran up to the man and they both shared a hug with each other.
"How have ya been, buddy?" Atlas smiled. "What brings you to Vegas?"
"Oh, just visiting," Atticus beamed to see his old mentor-like figure back from the circus. "What're you doing here?"
"I heard about this competition and wanted to see if any of these chumps can handle my strength." Atlas smirked.
"Heh, small world," Atticus smirked back. "I'm sure I could show 'em a thing or two."
"Well, you do seem stronger since our last meeting," Atlas smiled proudly. "I've missed you, little buddy, how's your family?"
"They're great," Atticus smiled. "And you're right; I am stronger since the last time you saw me."
Atlas smiled back and felt his muscles. "Oh, very good! Well, good luck."
"Yeah, good luck to you too." Atticus smiled.
The two of them shook hands and where Atlas could feel how strong Atticus's grip was.
"Oh, wow, you did get stronger!" Atlas chuckled softly.
Atticus laughed back a little. Soon enough, an announcer came out which told the competitors that the competition would soon begin.
'Attention competitors, our competition will start in five minutes.' the announcer announced.
"Five minutes." Darla held up five fingers to her big brother.
Atticus nodded to her.
"Oh, I didn't know you had a little sister?" Atlas saw that.
"That's my adopted little sister, Darla." Atticus smiled.
"Oh, I see..." Atlas nodded. "She's cute."
"We have plenty of time before the competition starts." Atticus said.
"I know you'll do great, kid," Atlas smiled. "Hey, by the way, sorry about our rough first meeting, I was kinda cocky."
"Kinda?" Atticus laughed a little.
"O-Okay, a lot." Atlas said then.
Atticus chuckled. "It's okay, Atlas, you were kind of the star and I showed you up."
"I'm kinda glad you did." Atlas admitted.
Patch soon went up to them and began to pull them over to Darla and the others.
"Whoa, down, boy!" Atlas chuckled.
Patch smiled as he did his charity. Once they got to Darla and the others, it was time for introduction until the competition would start.
"So, um, who are you then?" Atlas asked the blonde woman.
"I'm Connie, Darla's aunt," the blonde woman introduced herself. "I guess I'm kinda family in my own way."
"Well it's a pleasure to meet you." Atlas said.
"Nice to meet you too." Connie giggled.
Atlas took her hand and kissed the back of it like a gentleman.
Connie giggled and turned bright red slightly. "Oh, you're such a gentleman."
"Well, it's the least I can do for a lady." Atlas smiled back.
Atticus, Darla, and the pets noticed the look in the two adults' eyes.
"Does Atlas have a girlfriend?" Patch asked Atticus.
"I don't think so." Atticus shook his head.
"But Aunt Connie has Rocky." Maisy reminded.
"I think Atlas would be happier with Aunt Connie..." Darla replied. "Hopefully she leaves Rocky soon."
The others had to agree to that as Connie seemed to be more interested in Atlas than she was with Rocky right now. After an introduction, it was time for the competition.
"Come on, Atlas, we better go." Atticus said.
Atlas kept looking to Connie.
Atticus whistled. "ATLAS!"
"Huh? Oh, right!" Atlas then came to join him.
Connie kept her eyes on Atlas as she looked like she was truly in love.
"She seems pretty." Atlas smiled.
"Just keep your eyes on the competition, buddy." Atticus chuckled.
"Right, right." Atlas shook his head.
Atticus hid a smirk and went over to the others with Atlas to wait their turns.
"I can't wait to see what they have to do to show one of them is the strongest out of all the others." Darla smiled.
"Maybe Olympian games or tug-of-war or wrestling or boxing." Patch said.
"Oh, I hope so," Ellie May sounded excited. "I love watching sports with Michael, especially when Hayden plays softball!"
They soon waited for the Announcer to tell the competitors of what they will be doing.
