Chapter X-Totosai & Myoga

Totosai and Myoga were in the blacksmith's hut eating their dinner, while Kagome, Sesshomaru, and Inuhime made their way up the Fire Mountain. "Myoga, do you felt that," asked Totosai.

"Y-y-yes, I do. I believe it's Lady Kagome, but there's something different. I don't felt Master Inuyasha's aura anywhere near Kagome's aura."

"Then, who are the other two powerful auras?"

"I-I-I don't know, Totosai."

"Hmm, I guess we'll find out when they get up here, now won't we?."

Half way up the mountain, Kagome was gasping for air because of the toxicity of it. Kagome instantly got the mask that her best friend had given her for this specific purpose. Inuhime asked Kagome, "Where did you get that mask?"

"Oh, yeah, my best friend, Sango, gave it to me for this purpose. She's a demon slayer."

"She must be a fighter, if she was the only survivor of her village, then."

"Well, actually, she wasn't the only survivor. She has a little brother named, Kohaku."

"Oh, I see."

Sesshomaru was walking up ahead of the women, while they were talking and giggling when he came to a halt and Kagome didn't noticed that he stopped and walked into his solid back. He looked over his shoulder and said, "Miko, you need to pay a little more attention when you are walking." Kagome just, "hmph."

Inuhime responded, "Brother, please don't give her a hard time. It was my fault that she wasn't paying any attention to where she was going." He rose his eye brow at her and said, "Very well, then. We are almost there. I would think that Kagome and yourself need to stop and rest."

"Oh, brother, that was awfully considerate of you. I don't know about Kagome, but I feel fine. I feel like I could walk the whole world a hundred times over, but I can wait while Kagome rests. After all, I was always the most patient twin than you were Sesshomaru." She smirked at her brother.

"Yes, that you were, then, sister, but I came to be more patient even this one thought that was impossible for this Sesshomaru to do," said the Lord as he was smirking in return to his sister.

Ten minutes later, they started walking again. It took approximately another two hours until they got to the top of the mountain. Totosai and Myoga were still in the hut when they felt all three powerful auras making there way to the hut. They gathered up their courage to see Kagome. He was surprised to see that his Lord Sesshomaru and his lost lady Inuhime with the miko.

"Lady Kagome. Milord Sesshomaru. Milady Inuhime. What brings you here? I mean it isn't like I'm not happy to see you. I really am," said Myoga.

Myoga jump down from Totosai. He walked causiously to Kagome. She said with a sad tone of her voice, "Myoga. Totosai. You haven't heard about Inuyasha, have you?"

"N-no, what about Master Inuyasha," asked Myoga.

Kagome looked at Sesshomaru and Inuhime as though she couldn't tell them without burst into tears. She pleaded with them with her blue eyes as she saying, 'Please, tell them for me. I don't think I could do this anymore.'

Only Inuhime walked towards Kagome and said to her, "It's alright, Kagome. I will tell them." She paused and put her hand out towards Myoga to jump on. After he did that she faced Totosai.

She continued, "I have some bad news that regards to Inuyasha and to the Tetsusaiga." Their ears perked up to hear the unexpected bad news that they hadn't heard ever since their Great Lord Inu no Taisho and that bastard Naraku.

She went on, "Inuyasha had passed on about 3 weeks ago." She saw how their reaction was, which she saw their eyes were tearing up. "I think we should go inside before I can continue." So they went into Totosai's home and then she erected a barrier that could cleanse the air around them.

She said, "Ok, Kagome you can take that mask off now. I erected a barrier to cleanse the air so that you may breathe comfortably."

Kagome said, "Thank you, Inuhime. I thought that I was going to suffocate wearing that mask as long as I did. I don't know how Sango could stand wearing this thing. It's very uncomfortable."

Inuhime responded, "You're welcome. Now to the really bad news." She paused. "The Tetsusaiga has been stolen. It was stolen during the time when everyone was fighting after Inuyasha died. In all the chaos, no one didn't even notice that it had disappeared until now."

"This is why we came here, Totosai. We need to know if Tetsusaiga has any hidden abilities that hasn't been mastered, yet," said Sesshomaru.

"I see. It's safe to say that Tetsusaiga has no other abilities other than we already knew about," said Totosai.

Myoga added, "Y-yes, that's true, but there are other things that we do need to worry about. As we already know, the Tetsusaiga has an anti-youkai barrier. The only beings who could wield the sword are those who has no malice towards humans. The only reason that Lord Sesshomaru, at first couldn't wield the sword is he hatred for humans. Thus, making him unable to wield the Tetsusaiga. As for Master Inuyasha, he was able to wield it because he was protecting Lady Kagome."

"This Sesshomaru has already known this."

"My lord, please let me continue...*coughs*...a being whom has any blood relation to our Great Lord, Inu no Taisho, could use the Tetsusaiga. Whomever that would be may be able to wield the sword successfully. As for any humans using the sword, they would have to be very powerful to be able to subdue the sword to their will."

Kagome said, "Okay, let me get this straight. Any human who has a powerful aura like mine could wield the sword."

"Yes."

"Even if that person is evil."

"Remember only those who have no malice towards humans could wield the Tetsusaiga."

"But that person could wipe us out in one swing," said Sesshomaru, "If we aren't careful; that person could rule the world."

Inuhime said, "That's not all, I'm afraid."

"You mean there's more," said Kagome.

"Yes. I was watching through my magical cauldron, after Inuyasha died. I'd seen an orb-like light, much similar to our orbs, hovering over the Tetsusaiga. In an instant, it vanished out of nowhere with the youkai sword. There was no time to leave any sort of scent. I even mediated and consulted the Kami and as of yet, there's nothing. So Sesshomaru, I know you would eventually came to me for answers, but as you know now, I can't give you any as of now. Hopefully, the Kami will give me some anwsers soon." She said that with a disappointed tone.

Kagome sarcastically said, "This just getting better and better."

"Well, I guess, Myoga, we have no choice, but to see this one through," said Totosai as they stood up and went outside.

"I-I guess, Totosai, but I am staying with my lady, Inuhime...*blushes*...I-I mean if my lady has no problems with me joining her, of course."

Inuhime giggles and said, "Myoga, you know you're always welcome to join me."

"Sister, he's useless in battle. He always cowards away when facing danger."

"So what. He makes a great messenger if not anything else."

Sesshomaru sighed and said, "Very well. Kagome come stand by me." He looked at his twin and asked, "Can you form a cloud."

Inuhime was annoyed when he asked that stupid question, "Of course, I can. This Inuhime wasn't born yesterday, you know."

Totosai got on his flying cow as Sesshomaru with Kagome and Inuhime with Myoga were on their clouds left the Fire Mountain behind and made their return to Kaede's village in no time. They wanted to return to the village now knowing that there's a new threat now among their mist.
