Here we go, then! Excuse my clickbait last time, it was fun though.
You won't believe what she does next. It is absolutely brilliant.
The now collapsing building was beginning to give way beneath her. It's amazing that it had held out for as long as she had been there. Cracks began to form under where she was going to land, and now it looked like gravity was about to take it's next building.
But she wasn't about to go down so easily.
As she slipped on her color coordinated gloves, she stretched as far as she could to grab the strings of her vaguely explained bag.
In another split second, she brought it close enough for her to reach into the bag with her other hand, and pull out what looked to be a kunai, or a ninja-type knife for you non-weaboos, and a set of goggles.
Now gravity really was set on taking Linda out. She set the to her waist and set the bag on her back as she was falling through the hole in the floor, her eyes looking through the open holes in the side of the now slanting building. Debris was raining all around her like hail, but none of it was even remotely a problem, as she punched through them with complete ease.
Finally, she saw what she was looking for, another tall office building that wasn't currently collapsing, quite a ways away from her. The city was once densely populated by large buldings, so much so that they almost covered the city like trees of a rainforest, but now it looks like overpopulation is slowly removing their species, besides this one. By now, the floor was only a few feet below her, but she wasn't interested in painting it.
Not many people like painting anyway.
As quickly as possible, she took the thing she grabbed out of her bag, and threw it through a hole in the wall with her amazing pinpoint throwing skills. Barely making it out of the window, it struck the building. But what I'm sure that ABSOLUTELY none of you noticed was that attached to the end of it was a very long rope.
How did the rope get there? Ask Joseph, he sure knows how to do stuff like that.
With her slightly-higher-than-normal-human grip, she pulled herself towards the wall of the building she was currently falling through, blew a hole through it, and promptly planted her feet to the wall, watching the remains of her "home" erupt into a massive cloud of dust and rubble.
A long sigh later, she calmly pulled out her kunai walked down the side of the building she threw her knife to as if it were a thing that happened every day.
…
Reaching the bottom, she finally got to see what exactly was going on. After the dust cleared, of course.
To her, it just looked like someone was walking through the floor, which made absolutely no sense to her, even though she can walk up and down walls as if everyone can do that.
"Seriously, who is going around walking through floors like that?"
She'd get her answer in about 5 seconds.
The ground rumbled angrily like someone who was very hungry, almost knocking Linda off balance, and she jumped a ways away. She almost felt as if someone was about to shoot out of the ground at a very high speed.
Someone shot out of the ground at a very high speed, wouldn't you know it.
And here we have it, the first meeting of Draxian and Linda. And it isn't going to go well for one of them.
Draxian, who was surprisingly clean for someone who was just walking through things like it was just something he'd do, finally found the person he'd been looking for after screwing around in her territory. Ouroborous knew that was a little unnecessary, but it's always fun to play with your food before you eat it.
And she wasn't too pleased about any of it. And she was about to shoot him...a very strongly worded piece of her mind.
"Listen pal, if you're gonna come waltzing into my territory without my permission and expect us to be skipping through a valley of rainbows, sunshine and smiling tulips, you really have another thing coming, mister. I've lost a lot of sleep for the last few days..."
(Two minutes later)
"...intercourse"
Wouldn't you like to know how it got to that?
Draxian's expression did not change at all, neither did he speak. And Linda was becoming a little irritated.
"Fine. You're really asking for it."
She cracked her knuckles and adjusted her leather gloves.
And finally, she got a reaction out of her mysterious person that she didn't like so far.
He put on a creepy-looking smile, and cracked his knuckles as well.
"Yeah, so?" I hear you say.
Without using his hands. He's getting into the Salty Spittoon for sure.
Linda found this to be mildly amusing, almost cute, smirking a little in response.
"All right, "Unknown", may the best fighter win!" she said kind of generically as they rushed at each other, fists at the ready.
If anyone's wondering who Joseph is, watch JoJo, specifically part two, where he's the main character.
I'm going to keep telling you all this until you watch it.
So far I think this whole short chapter thing might work out pretty well, at least until I start school again. I'll try to upload at least two chapters a week, each with around 1000 words each.
That plan'll probably go well. I probably wont upload on the weekends though.
Also, I've updated my profile a little bit. Now Linda and Draxian's bio are there. I'll probably add attack moves and anything else that I think I missed later.
I think that's all I got for now.
And without further ado, good luck!
