Victoria's p.o.v

Walking over, Luke sat next to me. In embarrassment and surprise, I spilled food all over my blouse. "Aw, man! This was my favorite shirt!" I said. Luke was concerned.

"Hey, Victoria. Let me help clean you up," Luke offered. "No, no. I'm fine, really," I said. Luke begged to differ. "Come on. You're covered in cheese. Come back to my place and get cleaned up... If it's okay with you, I'm not trying to be creepy or anything," he said, turning his head away. I could see a blush forming across his face. I tried my best not to chuckle. "Thanks, Luke. I'd like that. Just let me finish eating, and I'll go with you," I said."Oh, okay. I'll be outside waiting if you need me," Luke said. I watched him walk out.A few minutes later I finished my food and walked out. Luke was leaning against the wall outside, fiddling with his phone. His fingers were moving quickly like the legs of a spider on the wall. "I'm ready," I turned his attention to me. "Okay let's go," He said.

*A hour later*

Luke had his own apartment. It wasn't fancy or expensive. In fact, it was kind of small. (How do people freaking live in these things? They're like chicken coops, but for people,) I thought to myself. "Sorry about the mess. I just moved in a week ago because I wanted to live on my own. This place is all I can afford, but I'm going to hook it up with some nice furniture and a TV. Soon this place will be off the hook. My Amazon cart is on hold until I save up enough money. I only need forty-two more dollars than I can afford. Everything in my cart the total came up to 396 bucks," Luke said."It's fine. The place is very nice," I said."Really, you think so? Thanks," Luke replied. To tell you the truth, I felt bad for Luke. Uncle Doom gave me expensive things. I never had to save up for anything I wanted. It was always handed it to me, and here poor Luke is in this small apartment. I wonder what job he works at, but then again, that is none of my business. "Oh, yeah. You still got cheese on your shirt. The bathroom is on the right hand corner over there. Just leave your clothes on the floor, and I'll wash them," Luke said.

"Gee, thanks Luke," I said. I went to the bathroom and locked the door. Not that I was afraid Luke would hurt me or something, because I know Luke would never do that. I just wasn't comfortable being around men a lot. I undressed and turned on the shower. Stepping inside I bathed myself. I felt extremely better after showering. It felt a bit lonely, though, because I didn't have Albert here beside me. I wondered what he was up to.10 minutes later, I stepped out the shower, and wrapped myself in a towel. Unlocking the door, I stepped out, unaware of Luke sitting on the couch. I walked out straight in front of him. I tripped, and the towel fell 's eyes widened. (Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. This can't be happening,) I thought to myself.

Luke's p.o.v

My nose bled from excitement. Running off, I went to my room and quickly slammed the door. I swear I wasn't trying to look. She was so soft and... Wow. Oh, man. What's wrong with me? I'm not supposed to be looking at her that way. I hope she doesn't think I'm a pervert or anything. Aw, man. She probably wants to leave 's really cute and all, but I wasn't expecting to see that. I wiped my nose off, and cracked the door open a bit. I saw Victoria getting dressed, and I immediately backed away from the 's so cute... Must resist.

I tried to pretend like this never happened. I know Luke saw something. At least he had the decency to look away. Well, sort of. I blushed a deep crimson red, and I felt like dying. Reality hit me again and I remembered I was homeless. I definitely didn't want to go back to the homeless shelter. Maybe Luke will let me , Sam was riding his bike.

I hope Luke doesn't mind. I forgot to bring back his movie. (It's in my bag now, so he shouldn't be too mad,) I thought to myself. I rode up to his house. What the... I saw Victoria in his house, and I paled. W-w-w-what was she doing there? I hope this isn't what it looks like. I didn't have a key to Luke's house, so I picked the lock. Thankfully, no one was looking. I entered the house slowly bracing myself for whatever that was going on.

To be continued.
