Ava was worried about Victoria. She hoped it wasn't anything super serious going on with her friend. She was also relieved to find out that Victoria wasn't pregnant. That was good. Hopefully, the doctor could fix whatever was wrong with Victoria. Sam would be worried sick if anything bad happened to her. Hopefully they wouldn't mess around with each other. If Victoria did actually get pregnant they would have to hide the baby, and keeping pregnancies a secret was not an easy thing. "Thanks for your help. You enjoy the rest of your day," Ava said to Lunaris. The blind girl nodded. The waitress came by with the food.

Danny being a vegan only ordered a salad while Victoria and Ava ordered the eggs Benedict and chicken and waffles. Lunaris ordered the tall pancake stack. Sitting down Ava signed today was going to be a long day. "Here's your food. Enjoy…." Before the waitress could finish she tripped accidentally dropping the food all over Ava, Lunaris and Danny.

"You have got to be kidding me," Ava said irritably out loud. Danny was unfazed of what just happened. Lunaris sat there, a pancake draped across her left eye, making it look as if she was wearing a beret. Maple syrup and chunks of food were everywhere. "Ms., I…I…I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to. It was an accident!" The waitress said frantically.

The commotion attracted the attention of the restaurant owner. "WHAT IS GOING ON AROUND HERE!?" He yelled. He stopped, seeing the food everywhere on his prized wall of certificates and noble prizes for best restaurant, and all over his customers. The waitress was scared out of her mind. This was her first day and she already screwed up. "Leslie, what have you done? These people came here to eat and this is what you give to them!"

"I didn't mean to. I... I tripped. ….I"

The man was about to cut her off when Danny spoke up for the girl. "Sir, I would appreciate if you didn't talk to other people like they were dogs. She said it was a mistake, and we will gladly take our business elsewhere if you do not cease your anger." Danny replied calmly.

The store owner cocked his head back and laughed. "Listen here, boy. My restaurant, my rules. If I want to treat someone that obviously deserves to be put in their place badly, I can. If you don't like it, blondie you and your little girlfriend here can leave." The owner replied rudely.

"Very well. We will not ever buy your food again," Danny replied, picking a piece of baby spinach from his hair.

Lunaris flipped the pancake off her head, and it landed on the owner's face. "A pity. Your food smelled so good," she said casually.

"I'll go get Victoria," Ava said, getting up. Going into the girl's bathroom she heard a scream. "Victoria?" She asked. She ran up to the bathroom stall and knocked on the door. Receiving no answer, she tried to kick down the door only to see the stall completely empty. A thin trail of blood ran through a huge hole in the wall where the toilet was supposed to be. "OH MY GOSH!" Ava screamed frantically.

The employees of the restaurant ran in to see what was wrong. "What the devil is going on? Why is it blood everywhere?" An employee yelled.

(This can't be happening this can't be happening!) Ava thought to herself, her mind in complete panic.

Meanwhile

A large man in a black trench-coat dragged the unconscious body of Victoria to his boss's hideout. He knew he probably shouldn't have hit her, but the girl wouldn't stop screaming. The sky turned a dark grey as it started to rain, washing the girl's blood away, and the evidence of the man's location with it.

Considering the necklace that was around Victoria's neck, he held in his hand. It wouldn't be much worth to him, considering that it was obviously a fake. He tossed it on the group and crushed it with his foot. Murmuring, he continued walking, vanishing into the alley beside him.

To be continued…
