"I want to change my name." Blaine said with a small smile at breakfast. Kurt raised an eyebrow. This was new.
"You don't like your name?"
Blaine smirked.
"I imagine there's a much better one."
Kurt frowned.
"I don't want you to change your name." He said petulantly. "What's wrong with the name you have? Don't you like it or something?"
Blaine raised an eyebrow at him. Honestly, it was like he'd said something wrong...
"You can't just change your name without a good reason! What would happen if everyone just changed their name whenever they 'felt' like it? What then Blaine?"
Blaine continued to be confused. "You...what?" he put down his coffee. "Why are you so upset...?"
"Because I love your name – and you've had it for nineteen years – why change it?"
Blaine shook his head. "Would you rather we change your name then?"
"What? Why? You don't like my name now?"
Blaine stifled a laugh, finally realising what was going on.
"I want to change my name Kurt... my last name."
