"Kagome, what's going through that beautiful mind of yours? Do you remember now, what happened this morning, when you were running around and giggling like a little girl?"

She looked at him. She thought, "Should I or should I not tell him? That's the question... *she looked down at herself*... But first, I need to put some clothes on."

She, instantly, grabbed her robe, but Sesshomaru wasn't going to let her have it, just yet.

"Tell me, omae. Tell me, what going through your beautiful mind?"

She sighed in defeat. She knew that he wouldn't let her do anything until she told him what he wanted to know.

"Are you sure that you wanted to know?"

He looked at her as if he was saying, 'If I didn't want to know, I wouldn't have asked'.

"Okay, okay..." She thought about were to start.

She thought, "Maybe, I should just tell him. He won't think I am crazy, right?"

She shook that thought out of her mind.

"Sesshomaru?"

"Hm."

"You may think I am crazy, but I think I'd seen the spirit of our pup."

He looked at her, incredulously. "Explain."

Kagome sighed. "That's just it. I can't explain. It's not only that though."

She paused. "Go on."

"I had a dream that I saw Inuhime. I was in what she'd called 'seikitai'."

Sesshomaru's eyes widened when she said 'seikitai', but his face remain stoic. "Anyways, she said something really unexpected and disturbing."

"What did she say, omae?"

She gulped. "She said that... *she hesitated for a minute*... that Naraku's alive."

"Impossible. You... we defeated him."

"I know, but I asked how. She said it was through Tetsusaiga."

"Meidou Zangetsuha." Kagome nodded.

"That's not all. It was after Inuyasha died."

"So, the one, who killed Inuyasha, was the one who brought back Naraku, correct?" She nodded.

"Did she happened to say who?" She nodded again.

"Then who was the bastard who brought back that vile hanyou?"

"It was... *she hesitated again*... It was Inuhime's son."

"Impossible. Inuhime's son is around the same age as Shippo and Rin, if he was human."

"I know, but... What?"

Sesshomaru sighed. "I guess she'd never told you when, did she?"

Kagome shook her head. "That vile, despicable half-breed raped and took her pup from the womb a little over 50 years ago."

Kagome's voice sounded sadden when she spoke. "Oh. Well, that was around the same time when Naraku manipulated Kikyo and Inuyasha believing that they betrayed each other."

Sesshomaru looked at her with gentle eyes. "What else did she say?"

"I'd ask her what was her son's name, but all she told me was in quote:

"The son of an inuyoukai miko and hell will take the lands into chaos and darkness. She, who has the pure divine blood flowing throughout her mortal, yet eternal veins, and her dark, yet great and honorable consort will become one to create a power to match the hell's son. Through their bond they will battle the hell's son. Who's blade will defeat the other are only known by the gods."

I believe that she wanted to tell me, but couldn't. I have a feeling that she'd been giving us clues about who it was. I can't explain why I have it, but I just do."

"Hm."

"Sesshomaru, I think... no, I know that I'd seen our pup's spirit. You don't think I am crazy, do you?"

"No. Inuki saw Inuyasha's spirit before he was born."

"Really? Maybe it's a miko ability, then."

"Hm. Did our pup say something?"

Kagome giggled. "Yeah, she giggled A LOT. She's also energetic. She reminds me of myself."

"How did you know how you were when you were a pup?"

"An infant or baby. That's what we're called ourselves when we were that young. No, I didn't know how I acted then, but my mother told me stories about when I was a baby. Anyways, she told me that I need to meet an ikkiyoukai. She also said that she'll protect us. Do you know any ikkiyoukai. anata?"

"Hm."

Kagome hated when he 'hm'-ed. It gets on her nerves. So, she whined for him to give her a straight answer. He was going to answer her, when...

"Kagome, put your robe on and get into the palace." He used his demanding tone of voice.

"But..."

"No! No, buts. Just go... *he voice soften*... please, omae. It's not safe. I'll tell you, later. Now, please, go inside."

She nodded and obeyed him by putting her robe back on and ran into the palace. As she was going to the door, she ran into her father-in-law and Inuyasha.

Inuyasha asked, "Kagome, are you alright? Did that ice prick hurt you?"

Kagome rolled her eyes. "No. He told me to come inside because he said it wasn't safe. He didn't say why or what was out there?"

InuTaisho said, "He's right. There's something out there. Go into the library and wait there. Inukimi and the others are also there waiting. DON'T COME OUT OF THAT ROOM UNTIL ONE OF US ARE THERE. Understand?"

Kagome nodded and went on inside the palace.

Inuyasha asked, "Dad, what do you think is out there?"

InuTaisho looked at his son and shrugged as they made their way towards Sesshomaru, who, by the way, was already dressed from his and his mate's love-making. "I don't know, but whatever it is... it's powerful. Oi, Sesshomaru, sensed anything suspicious out there, yet?!"

Sesshomaru glanced at him, but didn't answer. He stared towards the southern part of the estate.

His father muttered, "How typical."

He sighed. Inuyasha said bluntly, "This is wasting time. We should just go and kill whatever is out there."

Sesshomaru rolled his eyes and said, "Baka, haven't you learn your lesson from last time? It's obvious that you hadn't."

"Keh, whatever, asshole. You'll fight your way and I'll fight mine. Got that!"

InuTaisho sighed. "Boys, this isn't the time to bicker."

"Feh, he started it!"

"Hm."

Meanwhile, at the Southern palace, Naraku, Akira, and Akuokaesu were sitting in the sitting room having tea, while Kagura, Kanna, and Hakudoshi were kneeling down. They were waiting for orders from their Lords Naraku and Akuokaesu.

Naraku said, "Kagura?"

"Yes, Lord Naraku."

"Is Lady Inuhime ready, yet?"

Kagura hesitated to answer. Naraku yelled at Kagura to answer the question, which startled her.

"No, milord." She voice was quivering in fright.

Naraku was displease. He put his tea cup on the table. Then, he walked until he was in front of Kagura. He spoke in a iciest tone of voice that made Kagura shuddered in fright.

"And why not, Kagura? I told you in the wee hours in the morning to have her already by lunch time. Have you been conspiring against me again?"

"N- no, milord."

"Then, tell me why?"

"Milady refuses to come out unless she was guaranteed that she would be reunite with her son, milord."

"Is that so?"

"Yes, milord."

Naraku was close to hitting Kagura when...

"Hitting a defenseless servant is beneath you, father."

Kagura was flinching before she heard her other lord's velvety voice dooming throughout the sitting room. When she looked up at the Southern Lord's face, she couldn't help, but smiled. However, when Akuokaesu noticed, he hit her hard enough to break her jaw. She was shocked back to reality, when she whimpered.

"It's beneath me to hit a servant. What about you?"

"You may be my father, but she's my servant, now. Remember? You'd given her to me, when I resurrected you as well as them."

"Hm, so I did. That's still doesn't satisfy me."

Akira broke in. "Your violent ways are very arousing, koi."

Naraku smelt her arousal. He smiled and turned to walk to her.

He said huskily as he leaned down and brought her chin up with his thumb and forefinger, "Hmm, your aroused scent is very intoxicating."

Akira bit her bottom lip in anticipation.

"So is yours, koi."

They started kissing as Naraku was fondling both of her breast. She broke the kiss as Naraku growled in disappointment. She chuckled.

"Take it easy, koi... *she turned and saw Akuokaesu looking like he was pouting*... Darling, you can come join us, if you want."

"Yes, come join us, son."

Akuokaesu smiled like a child, who just got his way. He went over to them. He started nipping at his mate's ear.

She said, "Wait... wait a minute."

They whined in unison, "Why?"

She chuckled. "I have an idea how to punish Kagura and Inuhime."

Naraku asked, "What's that, my dear."

She chuckled darkly, "You'll find out, koi"

She brought them close enough, where only them, three, could hear.

"We'll take Kagura and go to Inuhime's room to brutally beat, rape, and sodomize them."

Both males chuckled darkly.

"You are a dark angel, aren't you," Akuokaesu huskily said.

"Well, of course, darling."

Naraku chimed in, "I would love to do that to Inuhime. Unfortunately, however, we need her to be a distraction for our little pup to complete our mission."

Akira pouted as Akuokaesu said, "However, we do have Kagura."

All three looked at Kagura with predatory gleam in their eyes. Kagura knew that they are going to do something very unpleasant to her.

"But we won't to that to her, yet."

Akira was flabbergasted. "What? But, why?"

"Listen, Akira, I am her master. I have the final say in this. What I say, will go. Besides, I feel generous for some reason. Kagura?"

Kagura gulped and said meekly, "Y-yes, Lord Akuokaesu."

"I decided to give you a chance to redeem yourself. If you get Inuhime in here... lets see for the next 15 minutes, then you will be spared for this punishment. However, if you fail..."

"I... I understand, milord."

"You best be going because time is ticking. Tik. Tock."

With that Kagura quickly ran to Inuhime's room. She didn't even bother knocking first because she forced slid the door open. She quickly bowed and knelt in front of Inuhime.

"A thousand pardons, milady, but please go into the sitting room."

Inuhime was sitting on her futon meditating, when she heard Kagura running, she just scoot down at the edge of the futon and waited for Kagura to enter. When she did came in, Inuhime could tell from her aura that it was important.

"Why?"

"Because you need to or... or..." Kagura broke down crying.

Inuhime knew why, so she finished the sentence for her.

"Don't worry, Kagura. I won't let that happened to you. I, rather be the only one to take the punishment for my actions than for you to take it either for me or with me."

Inuhime walked past her. Kagura praised her, then followed her to the sitting down.

When she arrived, Naraku slapped her.

"Bitch, if you EVER defy me again, I will kill your pup! Is this anyway unclear?"

When Naraku slapped Inuhime, her face was covered by her silver hair. Her black eyes were glowing red, but she quickly closed them to calm herself and her beast down. When she heard him finished, she opened up her eyes and turned to face Naraku.

"No." Her voice was cold as arctic ice.

"Good. Now you will go to the west and... create chaos. Make sure that Sesshomaru and any other adversaries are preoccupied. Take Hakudoshi and Kanna with you. Also, I want you to kidnap Kagome."

Afterwards, Inuhime with Hakudoshi and Kanna left for the west. When Naraku sensed that Inuhime was out of the area, he looked at his son like, 'did you really going to keep your world?'

Akuokaesu said, "Kagura, come."

She obeyed.

Akira and Naraku smirked because they knew they would have their way with Kagura.
