AN: I would like to warn you about there some words that are underlined. Don't ask why because I have no clue whatsoever.

After Rin, Inuhime, Zoku, and the new member of the pack, Akihiko, got settled in. Kagome and Sesshomaru went to the modern era for Christmas and wouldn't return for another week. So InuTaisho and Inukimi were acting as Lord and Lady of the West until they return. Everything seemed fine, until the Counsel heard that Inuhime had a bastard pup. They were still unforgiving for what Inuhime had done, which Kimiko told the court that no matter what it was still up to the victim of the rape to choose between life or death of the pup. The counsel was also hoping that Inukimi would still hold a grudge against her. The family surmised that the counsel had forgotten about what happened at the ball.

InuTaisho, finally, had enough of their nonsense. He roared, "Enough!"

The throne room went into sudden silence. They hadn't heard him roared in a long while.

"You all should be ashamed of yourselves! Even if, my daughter had no say about the life or death of her pup! I assure you, I would never put my own grand-pup to death! He's mine as his mother is mine! I better not hear one word about this. If I do, you will witness my wrath."

Inukimi added, "Furthermore, I had asked for my daughter forgiveness before the ball. And I know for certain that she has forgiven me. Past is the past, why can't you just let go and move forward. What Inuhime did wasn't against any law. She simply supported her father."

"Inukimi, mate, you don't need to defend yourself to those fools."

That was when Inuhime, who's eyes were glowing red. She and her beast spoke, "No mother, you don't need to defend me and mine. Thank you, though."

However, before Inuhime spoke more, one of the counsel members, spoke up. "You brought disgrace to the West by supporting our Lord InuTaisho taking a human as mate! You should be the one, who died; not him to begin with!"

Some of the member of the court and counsel agree while most stood far away for them as if to say; 'we don't feel the same as them'. Inuhime knew who was or wasn't with her and her family. Some has been traitors for a long time. One included, the minor lord of the southern district and his supporters.

Inuhime spoke while her beast was clearly present, "You all believe that you control the things around the west or elsewhere. Some of you tried and failed to get the throne one way or another by having either me or my brother mating one of your own. You heard of what happened to Toriko, right?"

Then there was silence. Yes, they heard of what happened to Kenryo's son. They'd flinched every time they talked about it. Even Toriko's father didn't wished to talk about it. Well, not until now that is.

"You killed my son because you are a heartless bitch!"

The crowd that was around him and his mate parted from them. To face death one wondered who would got your back or not. Apparently, they were oblivious to the fact that his 'supporters' abandoned him and his mate, who stood there with her chin held high.

"He loved you. And you know what you did, you torn his heart out."

InuTaisho got tired of his mouth, however, Inuhime looked at her father. She gave him the same look that she had that day. Inuhime also knew that if she let him live, then her secret of her being alive would be reveal to Naraku. That she was not going to let that happen. When she returned, she knew that sooner or later that the whole Western lands would know that she's returned safe and sound. When Kenryo found out that she has a pup by his remaining pup, Akira. He immediately called the court and the counsel. He wanted to kill her son like she killed his all those years ago.

Kenryo shouted, "Life for a life! I want your son's blood in my hands as my son's blood was in yours! As the Kami as my witness, I will have my revenge!"

Inuhime was quiet, too quiet for anyone's liking. As more words came from his vile mouth, the more that his blood was calling to her and her beast.

His mate communicated to him through their bond, "Shut the fuck up before you get us both killed."

Her mate scoffed and continuing bad mouthing Inuhime and her family. The court and counsel members felt a cold chill going down their spines, as well as Kenryo's mate. His mate knew that she made a huge mistake supporting him and his crazy schemes. Yes, Inuhime did killed her son, but she warned her mate not to make him do it. His mate scoffed when she thought about her daughter, Akira. She was as bad as her father. She decided to take this time to try to communicate with her Lady Inuhime before she attacks. She knew that doom was near.

"Lady Inuhime, please I beg you, don't kill me!"

Inuhime scoffed, "Give me one good reason why I should grant you mercy?"

"Because milady, I was forced into this marriage. I'd never wanted to mate him, but I did because of my family."

"You support him by trying to take over the Western Throne. How do I know that you wouldn't go after it again?"

"It was all his and his family's idea. I was just being a good mate. I don't blame you for my son's death. Kenryo was the one to blame for it, not you. I'd warned him; not just once, but twice."

"Give me proof, that you are sincere of your claims!"

His mate could only think of one thing to do. It was to wash her hands to signal not only to Inuhime, but to the court and counsel that she no longer would be a part of her mate's plans and desires.

Inuhime must had read her mind because she used her power, telekinesis, to move the basin to his mate. His mate stepped forward; not saying a word to her mate or anyone. Her mate was trying to get whatever she was planning out of her, but no avail. She stayed silent as she walked over to Inuhime and kissed her hand. It was pure humiliation to the person doing the deed. Inuhime was shocked at say the least. His mate went an extra mile to make it clear to everyone in the throne room that she didn't support him; period. While she was doing these things, her mate was shouting profanities to her. They were cruel words, too. When his mate kissed her hand, she immediately had a vision on how her life was with Kenryo. Lets just say it was unpleasant. Then, his mate proclaimed in front of the court and counsel.

She said, "As of now, I am no longer mated to Kenryokuyoku, the current lord of the Southern District of the West."

Her mate's reaction was rage. He tried to kill her for betraying him. However, InuTaisho stopped him. All the Dog General had to do was stepped in front of his now former mate, that made that coward back off.

Inuhime gave the classic 'hm' that was the perfect impression of Sesshomaru. He would had been proud of his sister, if he was there to hear it.

"It would seem Kenryokuyoku that everyone, including your mate... I mean, your former mate has abandon you. If you don't believe me, then look for yourself."

Kenryo looked around him. Indeed, every one of the supporters had abandon him. "You cowards, are you afraid of a little girl, who I remind you has no powers at all."

Inuhime chuckled darkly and said quietly. "Well, this 'little girl' has her powers back."

After she said that she killed him the very same way that she did with Toriko. Afterwards, she licked the blood off her claw. However, only to spit it out.

"Even your blood is rancid."

She used her poison to dissolve the fool's blood, flesh, and bones, then used her purification to purified the spot where the fool's corpse laid.

InuTaisho said, "Lady of the Southern District, state your name."

"I am called Noname*."

"Noname, I can't let you go without some sort of punishment. I know that you didn't really want to be in your former mate's schemes, however, you were there. You could have come to us, but you didn't. Why, Noname?"

"I offer no excuses, my lord."

Inukimi whispered in InuTaisho's ear. He smiled. To the court and counsel members, when a lord or lady smiles, it could mean one thing. They all gulped in unison.

The acting lord and lady noticed this and smiled. They'd always like to make their court and counsel members nervous. It had always amused them, however, this wasn't one those time.

"Noname, it would seemed that my mate wants to grant you leniency...*after he said the word: leniency, the people gasped*... In all the years that I'd known her, she'd NEVER granted anybody anything, who had time and time again deceived and betrayed us. What do you say to that, Noname?!"

Noname answered, "Her leniency is undeserving for a one such as I, my lord."

Those were the answers that they were wanting to hear because it showed them that she was sincerely, honestly sorry for what she had done. Although, not directly, but indirectly. She had others choice other than staying quiet.

"Now since I am being generous, I want you to choose your punishment. You have a choice between death or a life in servitude. It's your choice."

She replied, "Death is an easy way out. For death, won't last long. Even if you would prolong it. My death will be inevitable in the end, my lord. So, I believe a life in servitude will be a suitable punishment for one such as I, my lord."

"Oh? You are aware that a life in servitude is harsher than death, especially those who are a noblewoman such as yourself, do you not?"

"Yes, I am very aware of it especially to one such as I, my lord."

The members of the court and counsel were shocked as hell. Maybe the word 'shock' is putting it mildly. Maybe the correct word is perplexed.

InuTaisho sighed and thought, "Well, she made her choice."

"Alright, Noname, you made it perfectly clear that you wished a life in servitude. On the morrow, you will report to your lady, Inukimi, at dawn. You and the court are dismissed."

AN: *the name Noname is a combination of no+name. I couldn't think of a name.
