A week later after Inuhime and Rin with Akihiko and Zoku safely returned...

It was the early hours in the morning, when Kagome and Sesshomaru were laying on their futon. Both not feeling like getting up and get ready for the day.

Kagome had her arm on Sesshomaru's chest. She gently moved her fingertips around his chest. She giggled when she heard him gave out a purr-like growl.

"Sesshomaru, are you awake?"

He gave a nonchalant 'hm'. She whined, "Sesshomaru."

Sesshomaru inwardly sighed and opened one of his eyes. "Yes, omae."

"I was wondering since Inuhime and Rin returned..." She hesitated.

Sesshomaru knew what she wanted. "Omae, do you want to go to see your family?"

After he said that Kagome's eyes brighten. "Oh, yes. Sesshomaru, please. I know that I am asking a lot, but this will be my last time to see them until I see them again 500 years from now. Please, it's Christmas."

He said, "Now, how can I deny my mate? Hmm. Let me summon my father and tell him what we are planning to do. So he may know what's going on. Then, we can leave."

"Oh, you think Inuyasha could come. Souta adores Inuyasha. Plus, they don't know that he's been resurrected, yet. Please." She gave him the blinking eyes and pouting lips that made Sesshomaru wanted to kiss so much. He sighed.

"Only if he wants to come, omae." He got off of their futon. Kagome whined because she lost her source of warmth. Sesshomaru chuckled at her and kissed those pouting lips. "Omae, how are we going to go if I don't get things ready for us? I will ask Inuyasha, if he wishes to go or not. You, omae, rest. I don't want you to move around much. At least when I am not around."

Kagome smiled lovingly at her demon lord. "Oh, can we also bring Shippo and Rin with us? I know they would like to come."

Sesshomaru smiled. "As my lady wishes. Now, I must leave to make preparations for our journey."

Sesshomaru got dressed and left their room. Once he arrived to his study, his father was already there.

InuTaisho said, "Sesshomaru, my boy. Just the son I wanted to see ."

Sesshomaru at him suspiciously, "What is it, father?"

"Well, I was wondering, if..."

Sesshomaru interrupted, "No. I'd already made plans with Kagome. She wanted to see her family in her birth era. I need you to watch over everything while we are there this month."

Suddenly, they heard Inuyasha gripping about this or that, when he forcibly slid the door open; an equivalent of slamming the door.

"Alright, Ice Prick, what the fuck do you want now?"

Sesshomaru had to hold back the urge to roll his eyes. "Inuyasha, Kagome and I are going to see her family in her birth era. Kagome wanted to know if you wanted to come and see them."

Inuyasha thought about it. "Well, it will be great seeing them again. I mean, they were like my family, too. So, yes, I'll go. When will we be going?"

"Soon."

"Soon? How soon?"

"As soon as you go and get Rin and Shippo ready, then we'll leave."

"Hey, why do I have to get those brats ready and not Kagome?"

"Baka, she's heavy with pup. She needs as much as she can get."

"Oh... Fine, I'll go and tell Kikyo and then go get them ready. Wait! What if Kikyo wanted to come, too?"

"Go ask Kagome about that."

"I'll do that." Inuyasha then turned around and left the study.

Meanwhile in Kagome's room...

Nanami announced to Kagome that Inuhime was there to see her.

"Oh, sister-dear, how have you been feeling?"

"I am feeling great."

"May I?" Inuhime asked as she motioned at her stomach.

"Oh, yes, you may, Inuhime."

Inuhime put her hand on Kagome's swollen belly. She could feel the unborn pup moving. The pup kicked that made Kagome said...

"Whoa, that kick had some power to it."

Inuhime said, "Yes, it sure did. I believe this female pup will have Sesshomaru's strength. And she'll have a heart like her mother." Inuhime smiled.

"I heard that you, Sesshomaru, and the pups are going to your birth era. Are you sure you want to go now? It wouldn't be long for you to have her."

"I know but I want to see my family, again before the well closes for good."

"hm, I see."

Nanami entered, "Pardon me, miladies, but Master Inuyasha wants to come in."

"Let him entered." Inuyasha came into the room. "Whoa, Kagome you look like you are going to pop soon."

Kagome giggled. "I know. So, what do you want, Inuyasha?"

"Keh, Kagome. I can't come over to visit."

"Just tell me why you are here and not with Kikyo."

"I want to know if it's alright for Kikyo to come if she wants to. I don't know. It doesn't feel right to leave her here alone. She's still not use to all this." He gestured at the maid who was cleaning the room.

"I suppose, it wouldn't hurt if she came along. Did you ask Sesshomaru?"

"Yes, that Ice Bastard said that it was okay, if you are okay with it. Well, I guess I go get the pups ready and go see if Kikyo wants to come or not. See you later, Kagome."

Inuyasha left as Inuhime looked at Kagome with a look.

"What?"

"Nothing. I know that I want to see your family, but I am concerned that you will go into labor. Also without me or one of other healers around what if you and the pup are in trouble."

"I understand your concerned Inuhime, however, in my era, we have healers that could prevent something bad from happening or could find a quick solution for the problem."

"Kagome, I made a trinket that will make the pup appear human. Sesshomaru and Shippo shouldn't have any problems with using their youki to disguise themselves. However Inuyasha would... so I also made him one. I'd also made a special sets of beads that will allow all of you to come home to this era. It's only a precaution."

Kagome smiled at her sister-in-law. "Why can't you and Akihiko come with us? I mean, you should."

Inuhime shook her head. "I afraid not, Kagome, because the well have just enough magic for you and them to go and return home."

Then Sesshomaru walked in, "Inuhime."

Inuhime nod at his acknowledgement. "Sesshomaru. You better take care of my sister and my unborn nephew."

"Inuhime, you know that I will. I won't let anything happen to my mate and our pups."

"I know."

Sesshomaru could feel a nerve ticked because Inuhime just loved to irritate him. "Then why would you say that if you already knew?"

"Because I can." She paused. "Here are some beads for you to return safely. I made enough for all of you. It's to ensure your safe return from her birth era. I already gave one to Kagome."

Then, Inuyasha with Kikyo, Rin, and Shippo came in the bedchambers.

"Inuyasha, have you forgotten how to knock before entering?"

"Feh, shut up! At least I am with the brats. So are we ready?"

Inuhime hated his manners. Yes, she understood that he wasn't raised like she was, however... "Baka, where are your manners? You can't just barge in here like you owned the damn place. Ugh! Never mind, we will deal with that later, however, here are bracelets for you all to safely return to this era. Also, Inuyasha, you have a human concealment as long as you wear it, the spell won't be broken." She hugged each of them before they'd left for Edo.

Once they arrived at the well, they looked at each other. Kagome said, "Before it was only me and Inuyasha able to go through the well. So, Inuyasha, you take Kikyo and Shippo as we take Rin. Okay?"

Inuyasha nodded. They got into a pair of group of three and jumped inside the well. The blue light was comforting as they went through to the other side of the well, when it was 500 years into the future. Sesshomaru and Inuyasha jumped out of the well with ease.

Rin was excited and so was Shippo. Kikyo has mixed feelings about coming here, but she was curious to when her former reincarnate came from. Inuyasha was happy to get to see his other family. He knew that they knew that he was dead. He chuckled inwardly because he could imagine the expressions on their faces. He just hope that Sesshomaru wouldn't kill the old man for trying to 'purify' him. He chuckled out loud at the thought.

"What's so funny, Inuyasha?"

"Nothing, but a thought that your grandfather trying to purify us."

Shippo paled and asked, "Momma, is that true?"

Kagome chuckled. "No, my grandfather has NO spiritual power. However, that wouldn't stop him from trying." She looked up at Sesshomaru and then Shippo. "Before we go outside, the air here does smell bad here. So prepared yourselves."

"I need no preparations, omae. I'll be find."

"Sesshomaru, there won't be any killing here, even if they say or do something disrespectful. Kikyo just relax and follow my lead at all times. Shippo and Rin, you, two, stay together and close to us. And Inuyasha, you better behave or I'll have Sesshomaru beat you up... *She noted the pale expression on Inuyasha's face.*... or I'll tell Inuhime about it when we return home."

Afterwards, they walked outside. The demons gagged at the smell that hit their sensitive noses. Kagome said, "Don't you say that I didn't warned you. Now come on, lets go inside."

Once they entered the home, Kagome whispered, "Take off your shoes."

They all obeyed even her Sesshomaru, which was surprising to say the least.

"Momma, I am home! I brought a few people for you to meet!"

Kagome's mother walked from the kitchen to the front door and saw her daughter, a girl that looked a lot like her daughter, a little girl, a kitsune, an inuyoukai, and... "Inuyasha!"

Inuyasha said, "Hey!" She ran to him and embrace him like she hadn't seen him in ages. Kagome touched her shoulder. "Momma?"

"Oh, dear, I am sorry that I didn't hug you, first. Oh my, Kagome, you are glowing. Are you pregnant? Who are these people?"

Kagome chuckled, "Yes, momma, I am pregnant. This is my ma... husband, Sesshomaru, this cuties here are Rin and Shippo. Our adopted pups... children. This is... uh was my former past incarnate, Kikyo. I'll explain later, I am dead tire. Sesshomaru, could you help me to the couch over there?"

Her mother said as she bowed, "It's nice to meet you. Come, let us sit while I make tea."
