Alright time for the next chapter, but first questions:

Guest 1: He might tell them, or someone else might tell them... who knows

AkashimaUchiha: She was probably letting Naruto handle... or maybe she didn't know what to say... or I didn't lol.

Ur Fan-Guest 4: Soooon.

TigressTail: I'm going to probably just go with the fact that Asuma was away at the fire temple most of the time while Naruto was growing up, so he probably didn't know a lot about him, and I guess when he came back he just didn't take an interest in learning about him.

Guest 2: I like the idea, I might just go with it.

LuckyLynx741: I am literally starting on this chapter the day after your review was posted, so don't complain about time... lol just kidding I don't really care.

Naruto: The Runaway Chronicles

Chapter 11

"So you saw him?" Tsunade asked excitedly. She had been waiting for this update for days, and now that her ninja had returned, she was eager to get some answers.

"Yes my lady... saw and spoke to him." Kakashi replied.

"How was he?" Tsunade asked, curiously. Jiraiya whom was standing by her side was listening intently to the conversation.

"He was... different, my lady." Kakashi hesitantly responded.

"How so?" Jiraiya inquired.

"Well... first and foremost, it seems like the Nine Tails is the one responsible for Naruto leaving the village. Apparently he fell and hit his head, and lost his memories. While he was unconscious the demon possessed his body and drove him away. Now he's living in a border town, on the edge of the Land of Lightning, in a city called Aski. This city is ruled over by the Hiyoto clan, and it seems like Naruto is now the husband of the new head of the clan, Nayumi Hiyoto." Kakashi explained.

"WHAT!?" Tsunade bellowed angrily at hearing that. "That little shit ball, went and got married, and to a Hiyoto no less... what the hell!"

"Yes... we were there for the wedding." Kakashi added after a moment.

"What? Why didn't you do anything to stop him?" Tsunade asked, her eyes flaring dangerously.

"We tried my lady, but you see, the Raikage, Daso Hiyoto, and the Lightning Daimyo, were all there. We couldn't make a move without causing an international incident." Kakashi explained.

"A, …. that son of a bitch. I should have known!" Tsunade growled.

"What about Naruto? Did it appear like he was being held there against his will?" Jiraiya asked, still slightly shocked to hear that his apprentice and godson was now married.

"No... in fact he seemed happy to be there. You should have seen him, master Jiraiya... he was so angry at us. Hell at one point during our chat with him, he intentionally tapped into the Demon's killing Intent, and directed it right at Hinata. Whatever that thing did to him... I don't think it will be easy to undo." Kakashi informed them with a bit of sadness.

"Damn that Fox. Damn the Lightning, and most importantly Damn that Raikage, asshole!" Tsunade hissed.

"Please tell me there is some good news out of all this?" Jiraiya asked after a moment of silence.

"Yes there is. After his honeymoon, Naruto and his wife will be stopping by, to talk to you, Lady Tsunade, about any future transactions between us and Naruto." Kakashi told them.

"That... That's great... maybe if he sees the village again and remembers all of the people that love him, he might break out of this rut the Demon and the Cloud put him in, and come home." Tsunade stated hopefully.

"Um... I don't think it will be that easy..." Kakashi interjected with a scratch of his head.

"Why not?" Tsunade asked as she narrowed her eyes at him.

"Well, you see... while we were there, some things were said... things that shouldn't have been, and well, someone got involved and now... well... it's complicated." Kakashi tried to voice this part but it was a little hard.

"Who got involved?" Tsunade asked.

"The Lightning Daimyo. He got pissed at us for interrupting the wedding and told us to leave." Kakashi stated.

"Son of a bitch!" Tsunade hissed, and she threw her head back and brought her hands up to her face.

"This is going to be a real pain in the ass." Tsunade stated after a moment.

"Yes it is... but he's worth it." Jiraiya added.

"Yes he is." Tsunade stated in reply as she began mentally preparing herself for the difficult months to come.

-1 Month later-

"Yo... Naruto... you almost ready?" Came Nayumi's voice.

"Yeah!" Naruto shouted back as he continued to pack.

"You seem a little tense kid. Are you nervous?" The Fox asked.

"Hell yeah I'm nervous! I really hope that I'm right and I can actually get into the house." Naruto replied.

In the month since the wedding Naruto and Nayumi had been training vigorously, they spent a lot of the there time with there new sensei, Darui. Darui was specifically selected by the Raikage because of his unique Kekkei Genkai, Gale Release. Gale release was the fusion of Wind and Lightning, therefore he could teach both Nayumi and Naruto whose elemental bases were Lightning and Wind, respectively.

The first thing Naruto did was teach the Raikage, Daso, Nayumi, Ayane, Darui and a few others the Shadow Clone Jutsu. After learning the jutsu the Raikage set out to carefully study it's effects so that he could properly add the jutsu into Kumo's training regiments. He quickly learned about how taxing the training method could be on ones mental health, though he just as quickly thought up several methods to avoid the mental exhaustion. The first was to simply have a medical shinobi present to heal you as you popped your clones, while the other was simply popping your clones a few at a time rather then all at once.

A, figured out that if he created ten clones then every ten minutes he'd make another ten, and once he made all that he could, he would pop the first ten, then the second ten, ten minutes later... this kept everything on a cycle and prevented mental fatigue as it gave the brain time to relax without overwhelming it.

After teaching her the jutsu Nayumi immediately set out to follow in her husbands footsteps. She had all of her clones, which was twelve at the time, begin to meditate, to gather chakra. Once they had gathered enough she would pop them, and the extra chakra would force her coils to expand, just like Naruto's.

Darui also began to teach Naruto how to bolster his wind affinity, and control by cutting leaves, using only his chakra. As he had been practicing chakra control with thousands of clones already, it wasn't hard to learn this method, which Naruto immediately put almost a thousand clones on. Within' two days of starting that training he had already developed an insane control over wind nature. (Do the math you guys 1000 clones, two days is 2000 days of training just wind nature or about five and a half years of training. So yeah.)

It was at this time that Darui began to teach him, his first wind style jutsu, and it only took Naruto two hours to learn it with two hundred shadow clones. The jutsu he learned was a simply C-Rank jutsu but still Darui had to pick his jaw up from the floor at just how fast, Naruto's training method allowed him to learn.

The jutsu was simply to infuse his kunai with wind chakra, so that they would become insanely sharp. He had it down so perfectly, so quickly that it nearly gave Darui whiplash.

From there the training continued, all Nayumi did for the first two weeks was meditate with her clones and soon she was up to thirty-eight. Luckily for everyone, mental exhaustion only came when your clones learned something, so by simply having them meditate away from people in the silence of a house or the forest, you could pop as many as you wanted, and not suffer any side affects, what so ever.

It was then that she put twenty clones on meditation and joined Darui and Naruto. She nearly face-faulted when she heard of how many jutsu Naruto had learned, in only two weeks. By the time she had joined them, he was sitting at eight C-rank, three B-rank, and one A-rank, wind style jutsu. Her surprise turned into shock when Darui laid out how easy it was to teach Naruto.

He simply explained that with one thousand clones and two weeks to train, Naruto had undergone the equivalent of 38 years of training... which made Nayumi feel just dead inside. Naruto quickly raised her spirits however when he reminded her that she too could train at speeds like that. They still had two weeks left until operation inheritance, began. And in that time with eighteen clones not working on meditation, she could still get two hundred and fifty two days worth of training in.

Darui had to quickly learn more wind style techniques so that he could satisfy his new knowledge hungry student. Naruto and Darui formed a quick bond, they both respected each other, and Darui admired Naruto's drive and passion for learning. The Raikage had gone back to Kumo but not before giving Naruto a crash course in what it meant to be a Cloud ninja. He basically explained to Naruto how Cloud ninja acted, and how everything they did was for the good of the village as a whole. Everyone from the Raikage to the lowest Genin contributed to the villages growth, that's what it was all about, growth and prosperity. He also made sure to emphasize camaraderie, which was a big part of Kumo ninja society.

Naruto picked up on the lesson fast, and the Raikage easily saw that he was skilled enough to be a Cloud ninja. A, wanted to give Naruto a Chuunin position but Naruto refused saying that he wanted to work his way through the ranks, and earn his position, off of his own merits.

Naruto was then awarded with his own headband, which he now wore proudly on his forehead... he also carved the cloud symbol into his fox mask, which he still wore on missions.

Naruto and Nayumi's relationship had also blossomed, into full blown friendship. While the two hadn't advanced any in the intimate part of there relationship, they had grown close over the last month. They trained together everyday and spent most of their free time, chatting with one another. Naruto learned a lot about Nayumi's past, about how as a child she always admired her father and mother, and wanted to be just like then, and now that she was older, she wanted to prove that she was better. She loved to train, and to learn new things about shinobi life, she had few hobbies outside of shinobi activities though Naruto did learn that she liked to dance. This caused there relationship to blossom immensely as Naruto loved to dance, it was one of the things that he had picked up while on his travels, he simply enjoyed moving around, on a ballroom floor, he loved the traditional moves of the many intricate and 'high society' dance styles.

The two hadn't shared another kiss since there wedding, or even slept in the same bedroom, but still it didn't bother either of them, they were taking things at there own pace, and surprisingly, they had a lot in common. Even though neither had made a move since that day, the love was still there and only growing. Naruto found it difficult to not think about the kiss that they had shared on their wedding, and if he wasn't training then that was what he was thinking about, while Nayumi on the other hand, was falling more and more for her friend and husband, as she learned more about his cloudy past.

One night, about a week before they had planned on leaving for Konoha, Naruto had let it slip about a beating he had endured when he was younger. This drew both Nayumi's and Darui's attention, and they both questioned him about it. He decided to it would be best just to tell them so he spilled the beans that on multiple occasions he had been assaulted by people of the Leaf. It didn't matter what he was doing, if he was just walking down the street, or humming a tune to himself, or just star gazing, it didn't matter, people would immediately attack him, and he would end up in a back alley, to bleed while the Fox healed his injuries.

Darui was shocked, he had heard about Naruto's past but he had never known that it was a common thing for Naruto to be beaten for no reason. He had known Killer Bee, since they were little, he knew how rough a jinchuriki's life was, and yet, Naruto's was so much worse.

Aside from training, there was also a lot of planning involved. They along with Daso, had to come up with a way to get Naruto in and out of the Leaf. It took almost the full month but they eventually came up with a solid plan.

The plan was that Nayumi and Naruto would send shadow clones in their places, to the Leaf, while the real two, would infiltrate the Leaf using secret entrances that Naruto had used as a child to escape from the angry mobs, that tried to kill him.

They would sneak into the Fourths estate, and then in twenty-four hours, the Raikage would have a group of his best sealers reverse summon the two too Aski. It ensured there escape and allowed them to move about more easily as the Leaf would probably send out trackers to search the surrounding areas to find the pair, thus leaving the Leaf much more open to infiltration.

After preparations had been made, and seals had been placed on there bodies to allow them to be reverse summoned, the two set out. But not before Daso and Ayane said there good byes and wished the two luck.

They walked in relative silence for the few days it took to get to Konoha, only speaking about the plan and the mission. As they got closer and closer Nayumi noticed a sort of tension building in Naruto. Naruto was obviously nervous about returning to his wayward home, he couldn't help feeling that if he screwed up this mission in any way, it would spell his doom.

"Hey... it's going to be alright." Nayumi stated as they walked.

"What? … sorry." Naruto replied as he snapped out of deep thought.

"I said everything will be alright. You need to just stay calm, otherwise they'll know something is up." Nayumi informed him as they walked.

"I know... it's just hard, ya know?" Naruto replied with a scratch of his head.

"I know it's hard... but you have to stay focused... if we succeed then we may finally come to understand one of the greatest mysteries of the five great nations." Nayumi informed him.

"I know that... and I will stay focused. I want to figure that man out, more then anybody." Naruto fired back as he took a deep breath and strengthened his resolve.

"I hope so... I have a gut feeling that this mission isn't going to go as planned." Nayumi muttered in reply, as the outskirts of the hidden Leaf came into view.

"Let's begin." Naruto stated with renewed confidence, as the two officially began there mission.

-Later-

Naruto watched the village gates with calculating eyes as he and Nayumi approached, the two were dressed in simple kimonos no visible weapons or shinobi gear present, they casually passed through the gates like any other people, they however were stopped almost instantly by ANBU with drawn weapons.

"Naruto Uzumaki! By order of the Hokage, you and your companion are to come with us right now!" The head ANBU stated in a tone that offered no resistance.

Naruto and Nayumi just shared a look before they were both grabbed and shushined away.

A moment passed before both appeared in the office the fifth Hokage Tsunade Senju.

"Well... that was a little jarring." Nayumi muttered as the two gathered their bearings and looked around the room for a moment before both there eyes came to rest on the woman sitting behind a desk in front of them.

"Ah... at last we come full circle. He she sits, the Hokage." The Fox stated with devious intentions, evident in it's voice.

"You must be lady Tsunade... it's an honor to meet you." Naruto stated, as he politely bowed. Tsunade made a face, as she heard the expressionless voice, the once held so much mirth and joy. Nayumi quickly followed in Naruto's footsteps and politely bowed as well.

"It's been a long time... Naruto." Tsunade stated, after a moment of analyzing her long lost 'little brother'.

"My apologies, my lady. I don't know if your ninja made it clear or not, upon there return, but I have no memory of ever meeting you." Naruto stated in a robotic fashion with cold, lifeless eyes.

"Yes... they had informed me... I just didn't know what to make of it." Tsunade replied, her gaze was piercing, scanning both Naruto and Nayumi, with hawk like precision.

"Well... if you wouldn't mind telling your 'dogs' to relax, I think they are making my husband uncomfortable." Nayumi stated, with polite, confidence.

Tsunade eyed the girl intently for a moment, before her eyes fell onto her ANBU whom still had weapons drawn and stood at Naruto's flanks, ready to strike at the drop of a hat.

Tsunade gave a wave of her hand, to tell her ANBU to back off. A tense moment went by before they all complied and all but two, left the room. The remaining two took up positions on either side of the single entrance way into the office.

"Thank you, my lady... it's good to see that there are still some people with manners in the Leaf." Nayumi replied with a cool smile.

"Hey... I think you're mate is trying to egg on the Hokage." The Fox informed it's host with chuckle.

"Yeah... wait... what did you call her? My mate?" Naruto asked in reply, though his face remained stoic and expressionless.

"Yeah... what the fuck else am I going to call her?" The Fox replied like it was a dumb question.

"Never mind... just stay focused on this right now." The responded as he watched Tsunade's eyes narrow, with a bit of distaste.

"I'm sorry I don't really know what you are talking about?" Tsunade replied to Nayumi's comment, sounding only the slightest bit defensive.

"Oh sorry... I forgot, that we're here to stop the Leaf from interfering with our live anymore, not to dwell on the past." Nayumi stated sounding apologetic, and condescending at the same time.

"Enough... I know what you're trying to do Nayumi, and I would advise against it, we're here to tell them to leave us alone, not to antagonize them." Naruto stated, in a slightly scolding tone.

"True... my apologies... anyway, why don't we get down to business." Nayumi said, with a bit of disinterest.

"Oh... and what business would that be?" Tsunade asked, eying the two intently the whole time.

"The business of you Leaf shinobi leaving us alone." Nayumi replied curtly.

"I'm sorry girl, but I don't I or any of my compatriots have ever been involved with you, so I don't see how you fit in any way, into this whole situation." Tsunade replied.

"Well... in case your ninja forgot to mention it, the two of us were married last month... that makes him and everything that involves him... my business." Nayumi responded.

"Damn... girls lookin' for a fight!" Naruto and the Fox thought at the same time.

"Ah... yes, the whole marriage shirade, you performed for the Lightning Daimyo. The Leaf has chosen to not recognize the marriage as legitimate, seeing as how you are obviously just trying to seize control of the Nine Tails." Tsunade informed them, her eyes cold and calculating.

"What?" Naruto asked, suddenly becoming very angry.

"These people are obviously just trying to tie the Nine Tails to Kumo, and there using you to do it, Naruto. The Leaf has chosen not to accept this marriage as legitimate." Tsunade explained.

"Like I give a shit what you and the rest of the Leaf thinks!" Naruto spat at her, taking both Nayumi and Tsunade by surprise.

"Naruto... these people are using you. They don't really care about you. I don't know what lies The Fox or the Cloud has told you, but they aren't true. This is all just a big ruse to get you to become a weapon for Kumo." Tsunade informed him.

"Same shit... different fucking day. You know, you're lap dogs, tried to spoon feed me that shit a month ago, and I'll tell you what I told them... I DON'T GIVE A SHIT!" Naruto yelled at her.

"What the hell is wrong with you? You would rather be a weapon for Kumo, then come back to the people that love you?" Tsunade asked, as she stood out of her chair and leveled a glare at Naruto, all the while the ANBU the had departed returned and now stood along the walls watching the situation unfold, with calculating eyes.

"THREE FUCKING PEOPLE! That's all that's here for me. Iruka sensei, Teuchi, and Ayane." Naruto replied, his eyes alight with anger.

"That's all? What about your team? What about Sakura? What about Konohamaru, or Moegi or Udon. What about the rookie nine. Those are all people who love you, and would do anything for you!" Tsunade hissed at him.

"Well... let's see... I'll tell you what I remember, and what the Fox told me, you tell me how far off base I am!" Naruto growled, as he took a deep breath.

"My sensei... Kakashi Hatake, was too damn worried about the Uchiha to give half a fuck about me. Sasuke is the selfish prick who tried to murder me in the Valley of the End. Sakura has punched me almost a hundred times since I met her, and all I ever did was try to talk to her. As for the Thirds grandson and his friends... well... according to the Fox they were good kids... people that I could trust. Maybe if I run into them I will let them know that I'm alright." Naruto informed her with malice in his voice, all the way up until the end, when he spoke of Konohamaru. The fact that Naruto stated that it was the Fox that spoke so highly of the boy, took Tsunade off guard.

"Besides that we've got Kiba, whom I guess is cool. You've got Hinata, whom I've never spoke more then two damn words too. Then there is Shino, whom I have never once spoken too. After them is Ino whom is as bad as Sakura, then there is Choji, who was to busy stuffing his face to ever talk to me. Finally theirs Shikamaru... the dumb cunt that has no idea what he's talking about!" Naruto growled.

"There are others, Naruto... what about Jiraiya... and me?" Tsunade asked, shocked to hear how he truly felt about his one time friends.

"I don't remember either of you. The Fox says you two were good to me, while I know you... but he also tells me that neither of you were there for me, while I was growing up. The old pervert chose to write his stupid books rather then help look after me... and well you... you're Hokage... and just like the Third, you'll lie down and let those asshole councilmen walk all over you." Naruto spat in reply, his eyes full of contempt.

"Naruto... I don't know why you're thinking like this but..." Tsunade started to reply but Naruto, cut her off by yelling.

"BECAUSE IT'S TRUE!"

"No... Naruto. Not all of what you said is true... some of it, yes... and I can assure you that those mistakes will be rectified, but the rest... that is all just lies made up by the Fox to keep you away from the village. I will prove it too you." Tsunade stated as she snapped her finger, and suddenly Inoichi appeared next to her.

"What are you planning on doing?" Nayumi asked her eyes narrow.

"Inoichi here is going to try and unlock the memories, that the Fox has buried within' your head Naruto." Tsunade replied as the ANBU around the room took a step towards Naruto, whom only dropped his head in response.

"You aren't going to lay a finger on him!" Nayumi growled defensively as she took a step in front of Naruto.

"Move out of the way girl! I thought I told you that the Leaf doesn't recognize your little marital 'farce'. You have no say here!" Tsunade growled, with murder in her eyes.

"Fuck you, you old bitch! Whether you want to believe it or not, he is my husband, and my friend, and wont let you Leaf pricks fuck with him, anymore!" Nayumi hissed.

"Move girl... or I will have you detained." Tsunade stated darkly, as Inoichi stepped around the desk and approached the two.

"Lady Tsunade!" Naruto barked, with a flare of his chakra.

Tsunade and the rest of the Shinobi all focused on Naruto at that instant.

"When you are ready to treat me like, the foreign dignitary, that I am! You'll find us as the village gate." Naruto stated, with cold resolve, as Nayumi started to grin, wickedly.

"I'm not going to let you leave Naruto... there is a barrier around this building... you can't escape." Tsunade stated, only the slightest bit of sadness evident in her voice.

"See you then." Naruto stated as he took Nayumi's hand, and the two collectively popped.

"Wha... Shadow Clones?" Tsunade stated in disbelief, as most of her ANBU face-faulted.

"The clever little bastard." Inoichi stated, with a slight smile.

"Barrier squad! Drop the barrier and let me out of here! I'm heading for the gates!" Tsunade stated angrily as she turned to hop out the window.

"You really have grown kid... what else do you have up your sleeve?" Tsunade thought as she raced towards the village gate, to once again, confront Naruto.

Alright... here is the chapter... I hope you enjoy, let me know what you think, and just for some reference, I would like to ask you guys which element, other then wind, do you think Naruto should poses? And if there are any special abilities that you recommend I give him.
