K poll is still to close for me to call, so I'm gonna give it one more chapter. Whatever the total is after this next chapter will be the deciding choice.

Naruto, The Runaway Chronicles
Chapter 17
"... and then we left." Nayumi finished recapping the events that occurred in the Leaf. She left out the parts about Ami, and Naruto's memory. Leaving it to him, to tell people about.
"So we got everything?" The Raikage clarified with an expectant grin.
"We're gonna need a good decrypt-er. But yeah." Naruto replied as he opened up one of the sealing scrolls and removed one of the computer hard-drives.
"Hmm... the Fourth Hokage's entire Jutsu library... this will surely elevate Kumo's position, in the big Five." The Raikage mused as Naruto handed him the hard-drive and began to unseal the rest.
"You look a little tired Naruto... did something else happen while you were there?" Ayane asked eying him curiously.
"Nah... just being back in that place has left me a little... shaken." Naruto stated with a tired look.
"Well... either way. The two of you have completed an S-rank mission and will be rewarded accordingly. Naruto, since this is your father's jutsu library, you will have unrestricted access once we get it decrypted. "The Raikage informed the two of them.
"Thank you my lord." Nayumi stated with a bow, as did Naruto.
"I also got my hands on a boat load of the Fourth's Hirashin Kunai. With a little luck I will be able to decipher how the jutsu works." Naruto informed the Raikage.
"Hmm... if you wouldn't mind passing a few of those over to my Shinobi, I would like to study them, to try and get an idea as to how the technique works." The Raikage stated.
"I have no problem with your Shinobi studying the seals, but I should warn you that the Nine Tails, believes that the ability to use the Hirashin has something to do with the Fourth's blood, which is why no one else has been able to replicate the technique. If that's true then it's possible anyone other then him or his blood descendants could be killed trying to utilize it." Naruto informed the Raikage as he unsealed a few of the Hirashin Kunai.
"Also be careful, the seals on the Kunai are inactive, when they are active though, it might be possible for Leaf shinobi to locate them. And right now they have no clue that I raided the Fourth estate." Naruto added after a moment.
"True... right we'll be careful, and I'll make sure to inform my scientists to only study the seal, and not attempt to replicate the jutsu without you're assistance." The Raikage stated as he took one of the kunai and gazed at it with a nostalgic look.
"That would be wise my lord. In my spare time I will try and study the technique too. If it is something in my blood that allows me to use the technique then I should try and determine what that is, so we can better utilize the Fourth's jutsu." Naruto said with a thoughtful look.
"True. Alright. You two will both receive S-rank pay for this mission, and will have the next three weeks to your selves to rest and recuperate. And before either of you argue, infiltrating a foreign village can be a daunting task, and can sap you mentally, physically and spiritually, so I want you two to rest." The Raikage ordered with a look that disallowed any arguments.
"Yes sir." Both Naruto and Nayumi stated and with that they turned to leave.
"So I assume you will be heading back to Kumo?" Daso stated as the kids left.
"Yes... I leave Naruto in your capable hands, Daso." A replied, as he gave the Hirashin kunai another look.
"Brings back memories, doesn't it?" Daso stated with a thoughtful look.
"Yes... it does." A said with a sigh as he turned to walk off.
"Daso... did you notice something off with Naruto?" Ayane asked, as the Raikage left.
"Hmm... he did seem, slightly agitated. Almost like he was holding back some pain, or something like that." Daso replied.
"Maybe you should talk to him. See, what's bothering the boy?" Ayane suggested.
"Hah... I think my role as his primary confidant has been replaced. Did you see the what those two were doing when they returned?" Daso asked with a grin.
"Indeed... perhaps our little girl if falling for the boy... they did look cute together." Ayane replied with a giggle.
"Hmm... well let's go see where they ran off too. After all, I've got to tell Nayumi, that she'll be starting her rain as ruler in a few days." Daso said.
"True." Ayane agreed as the two wandered off to find Naruto and Nayumi.
Meanwhile:
"So... what do you wanna do now?" Nayumi asked as her and Naruto walked down the halls of the castle.
"Sleep." Naruto replied simply, with a tired look.
"Yeah I can get behind that." Nayumi agreed, as she herself wanted to just crawl into bed and let all her worries slip away.
"Well then, I'll see ya later, Yumi." Naruto stated as he turned to walk down another hall way towards his room.
"Uh... hey Naruto." Nayumi stopped him.
"Yeah?" Naruto replied turning to look at her questioningly.
"Well... we're husband and wife, right?" Nayumi stated with what seemed to be a nervous look.
"Uh... yeah. What about it?" Naruto asked in reply.
"Well... married couples usually sleep together... in the same room." Nayumi said with a little embarrassment.
"Oh... well... I mean... I don't have a problem with it... I mean... if you think we should." Naruto replied as he blushed slightly.
"Well... someone may think it's suspicious if we're sleeping in separate rooms, especially after our 'honeymoon'." Nayumi informed him.
"Uh... yeah. You're right. I mean, we still gotta make this believable right?" Naruto said as he and Nayumi turned and headed for her room.
Two hours later:
"Have you seen Nayumi and Naruto?" Ayane asked one of the guards, as her and Daso wandered the halls. They had just spent the last two hours trying to find the two, and along with constant interruptions from people, like the serving staff asking what they wanted for dinner and an hour long conversation with the gardener, only lengthened the search.
"Uh... yes My lady. I saw the two of them, enter Lady Nayumi's rooms, a while ago." The guard stated.
"Ah... thank you." Ayane said as she headed towards her daughter's room, her husband right on her heels.
After a few minutes they arrived at there daughters room.
Ayane knocked on the door and waited a few moments. Silence reigned and after a moment she knocked again.
"Think shes still in there?" Daso wondered.
"Hmm." Was his wife's reply as she cautiously opened the door.
After opening it and peering in, she noticed two figures on the bed.
Daso adopted a look of surprise and immediately spun around, figuring what the two had done, or were doing.
But Ayane, had a better view and could see the two were still dressed.
She stepped into the room, followed timidly by Daso, and after a moment got a clear view of her daughter and son in law.
Nayumi was sleeping on her back in the center of the bed, while Naruto had his head rested on her chest, his arms wrapped around her torso, using her as a pillow.
Ayane had to hold back a giggle at the scene, though she did hear Daso chuckle lightly.
Ayane found it insanely cute, and was hard pressed not to rush off to find a camera, and take a picture of the scene.
"Let's let them rest." Daso whispered, and after a moment Ayane nodded and the two left the new couple alone.
Meanwhile Konoha:
"I can't believe my clones son, robbed me." Minato muttered.
"Well, it's what you deserve." Jiraiya stated, trying to hold back a shit eating grin.
Tsunade had an annoyed look on her face. She didn't know what to feel. One part of her wanted to give Naruto a high five for stealing Minato's stuff, since she was kinda pissed at him, at the moment, but another was scared shit-less because she knew where all that stuff had gone.
"Minato... is it possible for you to travel to the location of you Hirashin kunai, and maybe retrieve what was taken?" Tsunade asked after a moment.
"Uh... no. The kunai he took from the armory were created by my clone. Besides the fact that none of the kunai are active, even if they were, I wouldn't be able to travel to them without re-adjusting the Chakra receivers, since my clone and I's chakra are slightly different." Minato replied.
"So even if your kunai are activated, you still wouldn't be able to reach them?" Tsunade questioned.
"No... I was going to get around to changing them... I just never got the time." Minato replied as he though about all that had been lost, which in reality wasn't a lot. Minato had his own armory, along with a new and improved Jutsu library, that was packed away in a box at there old home, which Minato had spent the last few days teleporting between the Namikaze estate and where his family had been living before, taking boxes between the two. So he was lucky in that regard. The biggest loss was the lab data since a lot of it was sensitive, not to mention Minato performed quite a few autopsies on dead Kumo ninja. But even there he didn't lose really anything, since all of the data was also saved to an off-site server that Minato always used, so he had a way to retrieve all of his clone's data.
While losing his old Jutsu library to Kumo, was probably the biggest blow to the village, Minato had a new and improved one, so even then he had made it out without much injury. Luckily the Jutsu library his clone had, wasn't the master library of Konoha, so Kumo didn't get all that much. They gained quite a few jutsu, but not many that were considered top secret. And Kushina had taken all of the Uzumaki sealing scrolls with her when the two left to travel the world, and those hadn't been added to the Jutsu library, so they were lucky in that regard. The biggest issue, at least for Minato was that the Library did hold his formula for the Flying Raijin Technique and the Rasengan. Yet again Minato was lucky in those regards because he knew that the formula for his Flying Raijin was over Sixteen years old, and since then he had developed a newer formula, not to mention he knew the secrets of the technique and he knew that only Naruto, would be able to perform the technique. While the Rasengan could be spread around, Minato knew enough about the technique and how to counter it, that it wouldn't be an insane issue, especially since he completed the Technique ten years ago.
All in all, Minato wasn't that burned about Naruto taking his clones stuff. Most of his stuff wasn't unpacked yet, so it was no real loss to him personally. And it's also not like Naruto tossed the house for valuables. He only took the armory, the Jutsu library, and Minato's research. And even so, Minato wasn't that mad, in fact he wasn't mad at all. After telling him that Naruto was the one that probably stole his stuff, she then told him about what kind of life he lived. She told him about Ami, and about how the Uchiha took him in. She told him about Ami's death, and about the Uchiha perishing. Now that was a blow for Minato.
He and Kushina had already learned of the Uchiha's fate. They figured it out not long after they had returned, and the two were still grieving. Mikoto was Kushina's best friend, same with Fugaku for Minato. To hear about them being slaughtered by their own son, left Minato and Kushina shaken, and it was just another reason why the two hadn't revealed themselves yet.
It saddened and enraged Minato to hear the life his son was forced to live. About how he was blamed for being the Fox, about how he was blamed for Ami's death, and about how the only family that had ever loved him was torn away by someone who should have been a brother to Naruto.
Minato was torn as to what he would tell Kushina. She was still grieving over her best friends demise, and he knew that hearing this would enrage her. Kushina's temper was still as bad as it was all those years ago, and she also had a fully powered Nine Tails living inside of her. He knew he had to be delicate or the village may be turned into a crater. He knew that Kushina would want to find the boy, and bring him back, he knew she would immediately feel a special bond to him since he is also a Jinchuuriki, just like her.
Minato didn't know where he stood on that issue. He was pissed at the village for their treatment of the boy, even if it wasn't his son, they still shouldn't have treated any child like that. And right now he was hard-pressed not to move to Kumo, and leave the Leaf to it's fate, out of spite. A part of him knew that would be wrong. Even though he himself was never Hokage, he still held a deep love and admiration for the village, and wanted to see it grow and prosper, but at the same time he didn't feel right about tearing Naruto away from whatever happiness he may have found there, to just return him to a place where he would be hated.
He would definitely have to think long and hard about it, about what he planned to do. But first he needed to come up with a way to tell Kushina, without her slipping into a murderous rampage and blowing the village to hell and back.
When it came to Naruto, Minato didn't know how exactly to feel. He saw the boy as a son, even though technically you could consider him a surrogate child. In reality that's what the clones had been, surrogates for the real two.
"Huh... captain... go and get Danzo." Tsunade ordered.
"Are you sure you wish to bring him into this, My lady?" The captain asked.
"Captain... if there is one person in this village who probably already knows about Minato and Kushina, it's Danzo Shimura. Nothing happens in this village without him knowing it. Besides... I need some advice, from a neutral point of view." Tsunade explained.
"Yes ma'am." The captain said as he vanished from the room.
"What are we gonna do Tsunade?" Jiraiya asked. He knew what the council would order when they realized what Naruto had done, and while Minato himself may be able to calm them down, they still had to worry about Kushina and her famous temper, along with Kumo itself.
"I don't know. We can't take any military action against Naruto, without Kumo and the Lightning Daimyo blaming us. So we're left with the diplomatic route." Tsunade stated, as she let out a sigh.
As she said that Danzo and the first captain appeared in front of her.
"Danzo." Tsunade greeted.
"My lady... why have you called me?" Danzo asked.
Tsunade nodded towards the unmasked Minato, and unsurprisingly, he didn't looked shocked to see him alive.
"My lord, Minato. It's been to long." Danzo greeted him, with what could only be described as happiness, though if you didn't know Danzo, you wouldn't be able tell. Tsunade would have been curious about this, if it wasn't for the fact that in retrospect The Yellow Flash was back in Konoha.
"Lord Danzo. It's good to see you are well." Minato greeted him with a polite bow.
"You as well. Do you mind explaining how you aren't dead?" Danzo asked. Tsunade guessed he already knew, or maybe he just knew he was alive, and not how.
From there Minato re-explained it. Danzo listened quietly and nodded in understanding as he finished his explanation.
"Okay... now that that's out of the way. We need to talk about what we plan to do about Naruto. With Kushina here, we have an Ace in hole. A secret Bijuu. But that still leaves the things Naruto gave to kumo, not to mention, Kushina can't take a fully powered two, Eight, and however strong the Nine-tails has gotten since it was sealed away... so what do we do about this?" Tsunade asked.
"Well... let me ask, how strong was the piece of the Nine Tails that was placed into Kushina's True Clone?" Danzo asked.
"Tiny... we didn't even notice it." Minato replied.
"Exactly. And you left the village only two years, before it broke loose. Which means that it had two years to grow in strength. Now we all remember how strong it was when it got out, and with an added Sixteen years to continue to grow in strength, it's logical to conclude the Fox in Naruto has regained all of it's power." Danzo explained.
"Okay... but what do we do about this?" Tsunade asked.
Danzo thought for a moment before looking at Minato.
"Minato... would it be possible to create a True Clone of Kushina with a fragment of the Fox's power, and extract it?" Danzo asked.
Minato stared at him for a moment, before everyone adopted looks of shock as they realized where he was going with this.
"Yes... it would be possible." Minato stated.
"Danzo... you're not thinking what I think you are thinking?" Tsunade questioned with a dark look.
"Here me out Tsunade. I know you assume I am thinking about harvesting pieces of the Fox to be placed in new born children and for them to be raised as weapons, do you not?" Danzo guessed.
"Are you saying that wasn't what you were insinuating?" Tsunade questioned.
"Not at all. Listen... if the piece of the Fox was so small that not even Kushina's clone noticed it's presence, upon it's creation, then it's logical to assume that the piece was so tiny that it could theoretically be placed into anyone, and it could grow naturally." Danzo began to explain.
"Go on." Tsunade ordered, as she adopted a thoughtful look.
"Think about it. I know you are agains't placing the Fox into children and making them Jinchuriki, but what about a willing host. With such a tiny piece of the Fox, you could place it in a genin, whom has been taken aside and had the whole situation explained to them. You ensure that the burden that is being placed, is not being done without consent, and the child is fully aware of the enormous weight they would carry and the sacrifice they would make." Danzo explained.
"Wait... are you really talking about creating an army of Nine Tailed Jinchuriki?" Jiraiya asked.
"Not an army. Two would be sufficient. Along with the one in Kushina, two more could be created to serve as deterrents against Kumo's three." Danzo replied.
"Hmm... I get that, but why not create more?" Tsunade questioned.
"Simple, because the fox would regain all of it's strength. If we went through with my plan, within two years time we would have two Jinchuriki that held the same power that was used to destroy our village sixteen years ago. Within a decade and a half their fox spirits would gain all of the Nine-tails power. That would mean when they pass away, they too would have to be sealed into newborns. With three we can still beat Kumo, while at the same time keep the Fox's under control." Danzo explained.
Tsunade scratched her head and nodded. Something about the idea put her off, but she had to admit it was brilliant. The Hokage in her was ready to jump at the idea, though she did want to run tests and do a little foot work before they went through with it to make sure that the children could indeed take the stress, but also she knew the village would need several things set up to ensure that the three fox spirits were contained and transferred, upon the host's death. There was still a lot to think about and plan before she would ever give the green light for this, but still she couldn't find anything wrong with it militarally speaking. Not to mention if the child and there family agreed to accept the burden, and serve as Jinchuriki, it would erase the guilt of placing in into a newborn without control.
Morally it bugged her, but it did present a solution to their problem and would ensure that the Leaf remained on top. Plus one Nine Tails was enough to ensure that actual Bijuu were never used in the three great wars. Three Nine Tails might just stop all of the wars, all together. Plus the big sister in her realized that if she agreed to this, then the council wouldn't be able to do anything to force her to bring Naruto back to the terrible life he was leading. But that still begged the question, what to do about Naruto?
"Okay... Danzo... while I do find it sleazy for reasons, even I can't determine. You do have a good idea. Can it be done Minato?" Tsunade asked.
Minato looked to think it over for a few moments, before nodding.
"Alright... I assume you still wish to keep your anonymity?" Tsunade asked.
"Yes... I think it's best for now that my family and I remain hidden. At least until we get things sorted out." Minato agreed.
"Okay... then my first order to you Frog... is to begin running whatever tests you can think of in regards to this. I want to know every advantage and drawback this course of action could have, before I ever green light it. I want to know if a preteen's body and chakra coils can handle the partial Fox spirit. I want to know if the child will be able to sustain the Fox as it grows to it's full power. I want you to come up with several powerful new sealing ideas, that we can use in case things go wrong. I want you to focus on everything Minato. This plan is in your hands... it's brilliant, if a little underhanded but, it would secure our safety from Kumo, and right now that is our biggest concern. I doubt Kumo would attack until they were sure of Naruto's loyalty... which means it could still be a few years until we hear from them. So take your time... be thorough." Tsunade ordered.
"Of course my lady... I will get on it immediately." Minato said as he placed his mask back on.
"Minato... before you go... I have a question about True clones." Danzo stated.
"What would that be?" Minato asked.
"What do they gain from you when they are created?" Danzo asked, giving him a curious look.
"Everything. Their chakra is slightly different so they can't use seals that the original created, which is why mine couldn't unlock any of his suppressor seals, that he had on his body..." Minato began to explain but he noticed the confused looks the others were giving him and decided to explain.
"I placed several seals on my body to assist in battle, in training, and to hide my true strength. These range from chakra suppressor seals to Weighted seals." Minato explained, and got a look of bewilderment from all those who new how strong the Fourth Hokage was.
"Anyway... The True clone Gains a piece of your chakra that will slowly grow to it's full extent after a while. Also they gain all of your memories and chakra. You can control them, and even dispel them like regular Shadow clones, but as long as you don't... they are the exact same genetically, as there creator. Plus they act the same and think the same." Minato explained.
"So... would you be able to use this jutsu on someone who couldn't? Like... per-say... if a person was in a coma... could you use the jutsu to create a true clone... then pull the plug on the coma victim?" Danzo asked. As he asked that Tsunade immediately perked up, her mind began spinning at the medical implication of the True clone jutsu.
Minato struck a thinking pose for a few moments before answering. "I don't see why not. The memories and personality of the True clone come from a persons Chakra. The clone adapts to their body, it has the same blood... it can grow old, it can apparently even have children. So I guess... to answer your question... if you gathered enough of a persons chakra... I could create a seal or two to help filter it for the jutsu... to create their true clone." Minato answered.
"An if the original dies?" Danzo asked, almost expectantly.
"The clone would survive." Minato informed him.
"Are you sure?" Tsunade asked.
"Yes... the Clone is, it's own person. The original has control over it, but with the original gone the control is no longer there. The clone would still act the same, and carry on through life living as the rest of us do." Minato said to them. His own mind was a whirl as he realized the scientific applications of his own creation... man he would have to let Kushina beat the crap out of him later, for not thinking of something like this.
"And since... the clones body is made with the physical chakra, and the soul is made from the spiritual chakra... the body would be created, fully healed." Tsunade said with her own look excitement since she knew chakra didn't store info on damage to ones body. So with a jutsu like this... the body would be created in it's pristine condition.
"Why... is there someone, you need this technique for?" Minato asked.
"I do believe that I have a way to assuring an alliance with Kumo... one the will last the ages. So that while we have the three foxes as a deterrent and bargaining chip we can also form an alliance" Danzo informed them with a small smile.
"What... how?" Tsunade asked.
"We're going to form a bond with Naruto... a bond that will ensure that the two of our villages stand shoulder to shoulder, for years to come." Danzo said, still smiling.
"How?" Tsunade asked with an intent look.
"We're going to give Naruto, something that he has always wanted... and by giving him this small gift... we can ensure that he will join us in an alliance as strong as the one we have with Suna. With the Raikage at our backs and the Kazekage at our side, no other village will dare stand against us." Danzo went on.
"For the love of God, fucking tell me what you're planning!?" Tsunade yelled, in frustration.
"We're going to give him the Sharingan." Danzo replied. As the other adopted looks of shock at the declaration.
"You want to give him Sasuke?" Tsunade asked.
"No... I want to give him someone that our young Friend Naruto would do anything do have." Danzo replied.
Tsunade stared at him for a moment... before her eyes widened in realization.
"That's not possible... you said she was dead." Tsunade said with a look of shock.
"To the village she is." Danzo replied.
"How... I thought..." Tsunade sputtered.
"Hiruzen was unaware. Her heart stopped four times, before we were able to stabilize her. The Third was to busy worrying about Naruto, so in the end it was just myself and Fugaku left alone to deal with her. She was in a coma... brain dead. But he refused to give her up. Now that he had her, he didn't want to lose her again. So he made me promise to keep her alive... to keep searching for a way to revive her. I agreed. We faked her death... so that Sarutobi would not interfere... we knew his stance on keeping people alive in such conditions... he would have tried to talk Fugaku into pulling the plug and the man did not want to have to endure that. So we faked her death... hid her from the Third." Danzo informed her.
"Why didn't you tell me. I'm a doctor... I could have checked on her... I could hav..." Tsunade began to yell but Danzo cut her off.
"You already have Tsunade."
"What?" She asked.
"When you became Hokage you took a look at a number of people in the hospital. One of them was a young girl, named Minai, Nawakuso. You studied the girl... tried to determine what was wrong... but in the end... you couldn't do anything. You talked to her 'family' which were actually two of my Ex Root Anbu, whom were fulfilling a five year old mission of watching out for the girl, and told them you recommended pulling the plug, as you found nothing could be done. So again... I faked her death and moved her elsewhere." Danzo stated.
"But... why Danzo... why all of this work for her? I get it... she was special... but this just doesn't seem like you." Tsunade stated with a look of confusion.
"I promised someone... I wouldn't let her die until he could see her again." Danzo replied with a solemn look.
"Who?" Tsunade asked.
"Itachi Uchiha." Danzo replied.
"What? Why?" Tsunade asked with a look of surprise.
"That is for only you to know Tsunade... look it up... and you will know, why I made that choice." Danzo responded.
A few tense moments slipped by before Tsunade let out a loud sigh.
"So... with this technique little Ami Uchiha can be brought out of her Coma. Then what? You want to earn Naruto's favor by giving him his friend back... but what then? How does this help us with Kumo?" Tsundae asked.
"Simple. In exchange for his sister, he agrees to perform a task for us." Danzo replied.
"What kind of task?" Tsunade asked with a look of suspicion.
"One that we both know he can accomplish... and that fool A, will never be the wiser." Danzo responded with a smirk.
"And that would be?" Tsunade inquired.
"In exchange for his best friend... he will do everything in his power... and strive for the rest of his life to become Raikage." Danzo stated.
"And how does that help us?" Jiraiya inquired.
"Because while he strives to do something we all know he is capable of. We will nurture a bond between him and Sasuke Uchiha... and while we nurture this bond we will groom Sasuke to become your successor. With him as Hokage, Naruto as Raikage, and Gaara as Kazekage, the three will form a bond between our villages that will last for a thousand years." Danzo finished laying out his grand scheme, and the others just stared at him, with a mixture of emotions.
Tsunade sat back in her chair... she was deep in thought. A part of her wanted Naruto to come home... but she knew it would never happen. So what was the next best thing? To give him back someone he loves... she couldn't think of a greater gift. But could she fulfill her requirements... could she give her little brother a task as great as becoming Hokage... She knew he could do it... and she wanted so much to have him back in her life. Could she be that selfish though? Could she make that exchange... could she ask that of him? … Yes she could... she wanted him back in her life... and if this helped mend there bond... and ensure that there would be peace between Naruto and the Leaf... she would ask that of him.
"Fine Danzo... We'll go ahead with this plan. Minato... I want you to come with me to see her... I want you to work on whatever seals you would need to gather her chakra to create the clone." Tsunade ordered as she stood.
"Keep me informed Tsunade... I'll have the toads send Naruto a message, when we're ready to meet." Jiraiya told her, he was giving her a look as she exited but she paid him little attention, she wanted Naruto back in her life... and she would skirt whatever moral boundaries she had to, to do it.
'Naruto... let this help erase some of your pain... let this help you smile again.' Tsunade thought as she left.
Five Days Later:
"Hey are you coming, ya slow poke?" A young girly voice shouted.
"Yeah I'm comin' just hold your horses." Naruto replied as he raced towards the sound of the voice.
"Hey Ami, is that your boyfriend?" Came a boy's voice, in a teasing fashion.
"Nope... Naruto is my new friend." Ami replied.
"Um... hi." Naruto said in a shy voice as he stepped up next to Ami. She was standing in front of six other kids... all around their age, the oldest being ten, and youngest being six.
"K guys... this is Naruto... Naruto this is Bugs, Jin, Rin, Ape, Taro, and this is Goose" Ami introduced her gang.
Bugs was a dirty looking kid with glasses... he was the youngest and like all the others, was malnourished. He had brown hair and brown eyes, and a happy look about him.
Next was Jin, Jin was seven, he was tall and lanky, he had short brown hair, and green eyes. He was dirty like Bugs, but still had a happy look about him.
Rin was a cutie. She had short red hair, and big hazel colored eyes. Naruto felt a kinship with her, almost instantly but couldn't tell why. She was short and just as thin as Naruto, though just like the others, she looked happy.
Ape was the biggest... he was the ten year old, and you could tell he was going to be a big guy when he grew up. He had black hair, and Blue eyes. He also had a gap in his teeth, and just like the others he was thin, though unlike the others he looked to have a bit of muscle on him.
Taro was a scrawny thing. He was like a pipe cleaner with arms. He had dirty blonde hair and deep green eyes... he was missing his two of his bottom teeth so it added a lot of character to his grin.
Finally was Goose.. who was a nerdy looking boy, kinda like bugs... he also had glasses, but also had a very pronounced nose, which made his look like a goose. He had brown hair and gree eyes.
"Hi... I'm Naruto." Naruto introduced himself.
"Hey... what's up?" Rin asked with a smile.
"Hey." Ape said with a wave, as the other boys just smiled, at Naruto.
"Naruto here will be joining Leafling's. I want you guys to show him the ropes." Ami ordered. As the others all adopted wide grins at the knowledge that there little gang would be getting a new member.
"Well then... tell us about yourself Naruto." Rin asked as they gathered around him.
Naruto was smiling, at this. To think they were actually paying attention to him. It made him feel so good. To have friends and to be noticed.
"Well... My full name is Naruto Uzumaki. I like to hang out at Ichiraku's Ramen stand, and my favorite food is Miso Ramen." Naruto told them with a shy grin.
The others started to talk to him about his life and about what he like to do, and what he knew how to do. For Naruto... this was paradise... this was all he could ask for.
He suddenly felt something... something is his hand. He looked down as his hand... it felt like he was holding something. He wiggled his fingers and could feel it... it almost felt like... Suddenly Naruto got that feeling... that instinctual feeling that all men have when they realize they've done something wrong.
End dream:
Naruto opened his eyes and glanced around he quickly came eye to eye, with a very red faced Nayumi.
He looked at her face for a second before glancing down at his hand, which was planed firmly on her chest. More specifically it was groping her right breast.
"Kit... do not freak out... if you freak out... she will hit you. Just play it cool and pretend it didn't happen." The fox ordered as it sensed the danger.
Naruto did as he was told he slowly pulled his hand back as he settled next to her. He laid on his side looking at her, and after a moment she let out her held breath.
"Sorry about that." Naruto said in a calm voice.
"Uh... yeah... no problem... it was an accident, right?" Nayumi said as she felt her blush begin to fade.
"Yeah... it was... I was dreaming about Ami again, and I felt something was off, then I woke up." Naruto explained.
"Oh... was it the same dream?" Nayumi asked, dropping the accidental groping, as it seemed he had.
"Uh... yeah... she takes me to meet the Leaflings and well.. I actually didn't get any further then that, this time.
"So... Today's the big day. How are you feeling?" Naruto asked.
"Good... I'm ready. This is what I was born for after all." Nayumi replied with a confidant look.
"You're going to be great Yumi." Naruto said as he leaned forward and kissed her on the lips.
Nayumi blushed slightly at the affectionate kiss... she was still trying to get used to all the affection Naruto gave her. She had never had a boyfriend before so, each of his little advances or his flirtatious attitude would often leave hear blushing... though he was the same way.
Anyway... today was the day of her Coronation so it was time to get ready.
Later:
"Are you ready?" Naruto asked with a big grin.
"Yeah." Nayumi replied, as she took a deep breath.
"Are you sure. You look a little nervous?" Naruto giggled.
"Shut up! This is a big deal for me. I'm just trying to stay focused." Nayumi replied.
"Hehe. You're cute when you're nervous." Naruto said with a grin.
"Will you stop. It's already tough enough trying to stay calm. I don't need you making me all nervous." Nayumi growled in reply.
"Hey... you have no reason to be nervous. You spent all day yesterday, practicing your speech. Plus the people of this city are awesome, they'll love you whether you make a fool of yourself or not." Naruto told her with a grin.
"You know you're a big help." Nayumi stated with a bit of annoyance.
"Hey... that's a husbands job. Ya know I heard someone once say that, behind every great man is a woman rolling her eyes. I can't help but feel that, that statement is true, considering I'm awesome and since we've met you've probably rolled your eyes about a thousand times." Naruto teased.
"Yeah well if you didn't act like an idiot all the time I wouldn't have to roll my eyes." Nayumi fired back.
"How do you like this one?" Came the voice of one of the servants.
Nayumi spun around and looked at the dress she was now wearing. One of the servants had been assisting her in getting it on, and making it look all regal.
Today was the day of Nayumi's coronation as the new Feudal lord of the province. There was a shit load of people in Aski, and all of them were waiting to see her and, view her coronation.
"Uh... I don't know... Naruto how does this one look?" Nayumi asked as she spun to look at her husband.
Naruto looked her over for a fraction of a moment, before stating, "It definitely screams look at me."
To be honest Naruto could not be more bored. He had been called off in the morning to try on several different ceremonial robes, though unlike Nayumi, Naruto didn't give half a fuck about how he looked and settled on the first set of robes he had tried on. Nayumi was a nervous wreck, whatever confidence she had, had, earlier about becoming a feudal lord, had vanished in the face of it actually happening.
This was probably the tenth dress Nayumi had tried on, and she still couldn't find one she liked. Luckily she had a few more hours until the coronation began, but at the same time it took forever to get in and out of these dresses, not to mention the fact that she still had to have her makeup done as well as tons of other crap, so yeah... with each passing second Nayumi felt more crunched for time as she tried on dresses, while Naruto was bored shit-less and standing around in a t-shirt a shorts while he waited for the ceremony to approach.
Naruto was lucky in that he had already showered. He had combed his hair so that a the very least he didn't look like he just got out of bed, and it only took ten minutes to throw on all of the ceremonial robes that he needed to wear.
"Come on Naruto, honesty... how does it look?" Nayumi stated almost giving him a pleading look, since she was slowly realizing that she would never find one herself.
Naruto actually looked over the outfit this time, actually it made Nayumi pause, because Naruto looked to be studying her with great intensity. He stepped around her a few times as he analyzed the dress, he had a focused look on his face, and Nayumi found it a little weird.
After a few moments Naruto let out a sigh, and he smiled. "You look beautiful Yumi."
"Uh... thanks." Nayumi replied with a slight blush.
"Though personally I think you would look better without it." Naruto added with a perverse grin as he turned and ran from the room.
"Hey... you perv... get back here!" Nayumi said with a blush as her servant began to giggle.
"Shut up." Nayumi muttered at the woman.
Apologies, my lady." The servant stated with another giggle.
"Hey!" Came a call from outside.
"What?" Nayumi called back with a look of annoyance as she recognized Naruto's voice.
"Shadow Clones!" He called out.
"What?" Nayumi asked with confusion.
"Think about it." She heard him call back.
Nayumi adopted a look of confusion as she thought about that. After a moment let out of growl of annoyance and let her hands slip into the familiar cross position.
"Shadow clone Jutsu!" Nayumi muttered with contempt, as ten shadow clones appeared and started to try on other dresses.
It took Nayumi all of five seconds to hear her husbands cackling from down the hall.
She quickly tore off the outfit threw on a shirt and shorts, and shot out of the room, to find him, and kick his ass.
And from there, girly screams of fear could be heard throughout the castle as the young couple ran about causing chaos.
Back in the Leaf:
Tsunade stood by the side of what was once Ami Uchiha. Tsunade looked the girl over for what had to be the hundredth time in that last few days.
The young girl was strapped to many machines all keeping her alive. Tsunade had tried multiple time to see if there was anything she could do to fix the girl. But after five days and nights of coming up with nothing... Tsunade gave the go ahead for using the True clone technique.
On the first day Minato made a seal to slowly siphon off some of Ami's Chakra so that he could perform the technique using only her chakra. It was almost ready... a few more hours and the seal would have enough chakra to perform the jutsu. When it was ready... this Ami Uchiha would die... and a new one would take her place... Tsunade could only hope she was doing the right thing... even though in the pit of her stomach she knew that something bad was going to happen...

I wonder how this will affect Kumo... and poor Naruto trapped in the middle... will he accept the new Ami... will Ami be able to accept herself... will Naruto and Nayumi ever stop being perverts around each other and just do it already... find out next time. btw for those that think this it a little too complex... remember... this is a story of politics not just battle... it's a chess game. Kumo took the leaf's queen... now the leaf has to make a move of their own.
