"I want a three foot essay on Polyjuice Potion and the importance it. What it's uses are, how long it takes to make it, the ingredients, and characteristics of the Potion. You're allowed to use examples if you like," Professor Grint said. "Class dismissed," she said, and sat down as her students packed up their stuff and left the class. "Miss Weasley a word," she said and Molly nodded and turned to Lola.
"I'll meet you in the hall," Lola said and left. After Molly gathered everything, she made her way to the front.
"Yes Professor?" she asked as she straightened her books.
"As you are aware of the up coming Hogsmeade trip is this weekend right?" Professor Grint asked, Molly nodded. "With your grades as they are, I'm afraid you can't go," she said.
"What about the other Hogsmeade trips?" Molly asked.
"Until your grades get better, you're suspended from further school activities. You may go now," the Professor said, Molly nodded and left the classroom. "What did Grint want?" Lola asked and the two made their way outside for a little fresh air.
"Got suspended from school activities," Molly mumbled.
"That sucks," Lola said, as they stopped by a tree where their friends are. "What sucks?" their long hair friend, Gracie, said leaning onto her boyfriend. "I can't go to any Hogsmeade trips until my grades improve," Molly said with a sigh and dropped her backpack.
"Aren't you going with Sherman this weekend?" Gracie's boyfriend asked, Cesare, Molly shook her head. "One, I never agreed to go with him. And two, even if I wanted to go, I think he's going with someone else."
"So then what are you going to do? Lola asked.
"About my grades or Sherman?" Molly asked.
"Grades, I know that you don't like Sherman they way he likes you," Lola said, Molly shrugged. "I'm going to study and work really hard to get my grades back up. The last thing I need is my dad finding out about my grades," she said.
"I could always help you with some of the work," Cesare suggested.
"Thanks, but someone had already offered. If he changed his mind, I'll let you know. Anyways, what are you guys planning on doing this Hogsmeade trip?"
"Well, Cesare planned a surprised date that I have no clue what about," Gracie said.
"That's why it's called a surprised, Gracie," Ceasre said, smiling.
"Still don't like being in the dark," she muttered, Cesare kissed her cheek.
"You'll love it either way. And you love me," he said, Gracie beamed and gave him a peck.
"I do love you, you know," she said.
"Gah, you guys are so sickly sweet," Lola said shaking her head, Molly laughed.
"But they're cute!"
"I don't care! I love you Gracie, I really do. But it's so weird to see my cousin so lovely dovey," Lola said.
"Well, get use to it Lola. Because it's never going to end," Cesare said.
"I hope not," Gracie muttered.
"I love you too much to let you go," Cesare said, wrapping his arms around her waist, kissing her hair. Gracie giggled, and Lola groaned. "So Lola, what about you? What are you doing this trip?" Molly asked changing the subject before something else happened to the two cousins. "I am going out with a group of my other friends. There's this girl in my dorm who is convinced that there's this guy who likes me," Lola said.
"Why?"
"He was pissing me off the one day, and I ended up turning him into a donkey," Lola said. "Lola!" Gracie gasped, while the others laughed.
"What? No one else had the guts to do something so I did," Lola said with a shrug.
"So now this girl convinced you and him to with a group?" Molly asked.
"Yup."
"Well aren't you going to have fun this weekend. Who knows, maybe you'll get a boyfriend out of it," Cesare teased, Lola stuck her tongue at him. "I don't think that's going to happen anytime soon," Lola said.
"And why's that?" Gracie asked.
"I turned him into a donkey, I'm pretty sure he's not interested," she said.
"Well you never know," Molly said, and Lola shrugged. "Whatever happens happens, anyways I have to go get some homework done before the girls in my dorm get carried away," Lola said, Molly nodded. "Yeah, I have to go and find Sherman and Cor and talk to them," Molly said.
"Well that leaves me and Gracie to our own devices," Cesare said. "Homework first, then have fun," Gracie interjected and pulled Cesare towards the school. "See you guys later!" Gracie called and Cesare waved, Lola and Molly waved back in return. "I gotta go, later," Lola said and followed after then. "Later," Molly said picked up her backpack and went to go find Sherman and Cor.
She walked around until she saw who she was looking for. She walked over and threw her arms around Sherman and Jared while Cor and Victoria laughed at their surprised expressions. "How's it going my fellow comrades?" Molly asked making them chuckle. "Just hanging around the usual," Jared said.
"What about you?" Sherman asked.
"Oh you know, same old same old," she said and dropped her arms.
"I assume there was something you needed with one of us?" Victoria asked, Molly thought for a moment and nodded. "Yes, are you all going to Hogsmeade this weekend?" Molly asked, they nodded in response, Molly pouted. "What's with the pout Molls?"
"I got suspended from further school activities," she said with a sigh.
"So does that mean I won't be able to go with you?" Sherman asked, Molly nodded. "Sorry, but anyways, I was going to decline your invitation anyways. I was going to go with my friend and her group but things change," Molly said.
"You're so mean Molly," Sherman said, she poked her tongue out at him. "Whatever. Besides, I heard you were going with someone else," she said.
"Yeah, sorry about that."
"Don't worry about it. Though, wouldn't it have been better if you told me instead of my finding out from someone else?" she asked and Sherman hung his head in shame and scratched the back of his head.
"Wow, Molly's got you whipped," Jared said, chuckling.
"Watch it McCardy, I'm not in the greatest mood right now," Molly warned, Jared held his hands up in surrender. "Okay, okay I'll back off," he said.
"Well, anyways I gotta go and do some studying to do," Molly said and turned around and walked off. "Later!" they called and she waved.
"Molly, wait up!" someone called and she turned around seeing Cor jogging towards her. "What's up?" she asked when he caught up to her and they started walking. "Was wondering if you needed help today?" he asked, Molly shrugged. "I don't know. When you offered to help me with my homework, I didn't expected you too help me all the time," she said.
Cor shrugged. "It's not a big deal. Besides, I need to do homework too," he said, Molly looked at him and shrugged. "Okay, if anyone asks I'm not forcing you to do anything," she said and Cor just rolled his eyes. "Library?" he asked, Molly nodded her eye and did the whole superhero thing where she pointed to the sky and placed her hand on her hip striking a pose. "To the library!" she shouted and dragged Cor with.
"You know," Cor started, "you're a bit weird right?" he finished asking.
"Yeah I know why?" she asked and gasped. "Is someone saying that behind my back?" she asked, Cor shook his head chuckling a bit.
"No, I'm just curious if you knew that. You don't act at all like your cousins," he said, Molly looked at him and tilted her head.
"How's that?"
"Well, you don't really let people bother you or what they say get to you. You don't let your anger get in the way, you're really friendly, and you speak you're mind without a second thought."
"Well, all my cousins speak their minds without thinking," Molly pointed out.
"That's true, but you don't get into more trouble then some," he said, she nodded thinking about it.
"True. You know, you're very quiet compared to your cousins," Molly said, Cor raised an eyebrow at her telling her to continue. "It's true! Sherman and Victoria are very outgoing. You are too, but it seems like you have this wall blocking everyone out."
Cor didn't say anything for a while, and Molly was starting to get a bit squirmy. "You know what? Forget what I said, I tend to say things that people don't want to hear. I didn't mean anything," Molly rambled on.
"No it's fine," Cor said making Molly stop talking. She looked at him confused. "I know you meant it and it's fine. I guess I thought that no one was paying that much attention for me to realize it."
"Oh," she said. "The thing about me though, is that I can see things people don't normally pay attention to. Like for example," she said, stopped walking and looked around pointed at two people who look like they're arguing. "See them?" she asked and Cor nodded. "They look like they're arguing but really they're having a really heated debate over something."
"And you know that how?"
"Normally when people have an argument their face gets all scrunched up and looking angry, and they'll start yelling really loudly that you can hear them from here. But their calm and quiet," she said.
"Oh," Cor said. "You said I have this wall that's blocking everyone out, right?" he said, Molly nodded. "I only have it because I don't want people getting to close to me and I'm afraid that I'm either going to hurt them or they're going to hurt me."
Molly stayed quiet for a minute, thinking. "You don't have to answer this right now or ever, but..." she trailed off.
"But?"
"But nothing, I was going to say that someone you loved must have hurt you bad for you to put up a wall like that," Molly said, Cor nodded agreeing with her. "And I'm sorry for whatever happened. I'm sure you or that person deserved it."
"Thanks Molly."
"For what?"
"For not pushing the subject further then this," he said smiling at her.
"I may pry and butt into people's lives but when something that personal is there, I'll leave it alone. Even if curiosity is eating at me," she said smiling back making him chuckle.
"Maybe one day I'll tell you the whole story," he said, Molly nodded and started walking again.
"I'd like that. But for now let us do homework!" she exclaimed and rushed towards the library making Cor run after her.
Sorry it took so long, have problems writing this chapter. So tell me what you think. :)
