Jane wasn't entirely sure what had happened. One minute, she was staring at the giant sized moving statue, and the next she was flying through the air and coming to a very complete and solid stop against a stone pillar that she hadn't noticed until that moment.

For a couple of minutes she was just stunned. She couldn't move and she could swear everything was vibrating. For some reason this reminded her of hitting a gong, or ringing a bell.

She tried moving, but the most she could do was sort of a pathetic twitching spasming movement she tried to yell something at Dok-Tor, possibly something reassuring, are a warning to get the oblivion away but all that came out was a pained wheezing noise.

After several more attempts to move or speak, Jane resigned herself to lying there and trying to look as non threatening as possible while she tried to cast a healing spell on herself so that she could get up and fight. The Statue stood over her for a few seconds as she continued to twitch and moan, before turning and stomping away.

Jane was confused for a minute, why was it walking away, unless-

She heard Dok-Tor yelling something about "so come and get me-" and her heart froze, surely he wouldn't be trying to get the statue to attack him, surely he wouldn't be that mad.

Then she remembered all of the completely insane and inadvisable things Dok-Tor had done in the short time she'd known him, and started working even harder on healing herself because of course that xuth man would do something like that and she did not want to see him get himself killed.

The Doctor finished his speech and continued to attract the centurion's attention. Now, judging by how long it had taken the mechanisms to wind back enough to pull the arm back up, he had about a five second window to jump up onto it's arm and get a good enough grip so that he could climb his way up and open the head casing.

"come on, come on, come on" he whispered to himself, as he resisted the urge to run, He saw the centurion raise it's arm back to smash him into the floor, but he still waited until the last moment to jump back, then he jumped onto the centurion's fist and climbed up it's arm and onto it's back.

The great machine spun around and flailed it's arms trying to reach him until he climbed onto it's blind spot at which point it started whipping around trying to find him, nearly throwing him off, at which point he was dangling from it's back.

"OI! YOU THERE, TURN AROUND AND FACE ME YOU MILK DRINKER!"

The Doctor managed to pull himself just far enough up onto the centurion's shoulder before nearly being knocked off again to see that Jane had recovered and was now attracting the centurion's attention.

"THAT'S RIGHT YOU S'WIT JEKOSIT COWARD! I'M RIGHT HERE, COME GET ME!"

Jane shouted as she pulled out dawnbreaker, and got ready to dodge, because if there was one thing she knew it's that she wasn't going to let it hit her again.

"JANE WHAT ARE DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING!" he shouted at her, distracting the statue and causing it to whirl around and try to find the source of the noise, nearly causing him to be flung into a wall.

"I'm TRYING to SAVE YOU." she shouted back, as the centurion continued to run around in circles like a dog chasing it's tail.

"I DON'T NEED YOUR HELP, I'M DOING PERFECTLY FINE ON MY OWN" he shouted, as he continued to be tossed back and forth by the living statue obviously in great need of help.

Jane rolled her eyes, and started banging the hilt of her sword on the ground and hurling insults at the creature, and generally trying to make more noise than Dok-Tor was, eventually she gave up on that and resorted to throwing fireballs at it's head, causing Dok-tor to shout in surprise when she nearly burned his fingers off.

"Sorry!" she also grimaced apologetically, although she doubted he could see her as he was still dangling off the centurion's back , unfortunately this meant that she was distracted enough to get knocked over by the centurion for a second time albeit with slightly less force.

The creature stomped over to where she lay dazed on the floor, and she got it together just fast enough the charge her th'um, but it was too slow, because it was about to hit her again and smash her into a pulp on the floor, but just as it was about to kill her, it stopped. And with a great whirring groan,

the statue stepped back, and kneeled after which Dok-Tor hopped off it's shoulder, and put his sonic screwdriver back into his pocket.

"I told you I had this under control" He said grinning at her
