AN: Warning: A mini lemon

It has been three months since Natsume was born. Sesshomaru really didn't want to introduce his daughter until she was a lot older, but Inukimi and InuTaisho told him that it's better to introduce a new heir as soon as possible. Kagome really didn't care when to introduce her to the council. However, Kagome went into the nearest village to introduce Natsume to her people. Inuhime had accompanied her because she felt that Sesshomaru would intimidate the people of the village. It was a youkai village. The people there was surprise to find that the newest heir was a full-fledged inuyoukai, instead of an inuhanyou. They knew that their lord had mated with a human. They knew that she was a miko, but they didn't know that Kagome was a powerful one. They were shocked to find out that she was also the Shikon Miko, who helped defeated Naraku, the first time.

The youkai people's young ones came up to their lady and their future Lady of the West. They were tickling the pup gently with their claws until one male pup had gotten a little rough and scratched Natsume, who, in turn, wailed. Kagome looked towards the pups. She gasped as to what she saw. She could see her pup's blood rolling down to the side of her pup's body. Kagome instantly got up as Inuhime followed suit because she smelled her niece's blood. Once they arrived to where the pups were, they knelt down by Natsume and looked at the injury.

Inuhime knew who did it. She looked straight at the said pup. She said in a stern voice, "Pup, come here."

The said pup hung his head down and came to his lady. "You called me, Lady Inuhime."

"Yes. Why did you scratched Natsume?" Kagome looked from her pup to her sister-in-law. She furrowed her eye brows and then turned towards the said pup.

The pup gulped. "It was an accident. I was just tickling her. She probably moved towards my claws as my claws moved the opposite of where she was moving," the pup said guiltily.

Inuhime and Kagome looked at the pup and then at Natsume, who's scratch had been all healed up.

"The pup speaks the truth. Natsume's scratch is all healed and good as new."

"What's your name, pup," Kagome asked.

"Uh, my name is..." He was interrupted by his mother who walked angrily up to them. She smack him across the cheek.

"How dare you treat our future lady as such!"

"But mother, it was an accident!" She smacked him again.

"Enough of your excuses!"

"But mother! It's not..." His mother smacked him again.

Kagome gasped at the sight that was happening in front of her as the mother was hitting the said pup. Inuhime was seeing red. She doesn't believe in hitting a pup/child for something that was only an accident.

The mother of said pup kept on hitting him until Inuhime caught her wrist half-way from striking the female's son. "Stop. Hitting. Him," Inuhime said in a calm and cold voice.

The mother of said pup said, "And who are you to tell me how to..." The mother gasped as she recognized the woman. "L-Lady I-Inuhime?"

She gave a curd nod in acknowledgement. The said mother dropped to her knees and said, "Please, forgive my son for his actions."

"This Inuhime had already did as much as Lady Kagome had too. Your son wasn't making excuses. He spoke the truth."

Kagome added as she pointed where the said pup had scratched her, "See, Natsume is all healed. All is forgiven."

"Pups do play rough sometimes, if not all. They were being pups, of what they are. They would get injured from time to time. You were overreacting to this. Have you watch your son to know if he was playing or not? Or did you just overheard us talking to your son?"

The said mother said timidly, "I'd overheard you. I didn't see the whole incident."

"You should get all your information before acting accordingly. However, you just overheard us, came, and smacked your son around."

Inuhime looked at the pups, who were also playing with Natsume, were standing still like they were frozen from shock. Inuhime sniffed. She smelt that they were related to the said pup and mother. "You, pups, answer this Inuhime. Did your relative accidentally scratched Princess Natsume?"

The pups looked all around at each other like deciding who should answer to their lady. "Well."

"He did acci-dent-ally scratched her," one of the pups said.

Inuhime knew they were afraid to answer. She surmised that it was because of their mother. "You see. They, too, speak the truth." Inuhime looked down to the said mother and continued, "If this Inuhime ever, see and/or hear you hitting any of these pups again. This one promises you that this Inuhime will take them away from you and you will never see them again. Is this one any way unclear?"

The said mother looked at Inuhime in fright and shook her head quickly. "You may leave now, bitch."

"Come on, pups. I have dinner ready," the said mother said in her motherly tone.

Inuhime and Kagome, while cradling Natsume, watched them leave to return to their home.

Kagome looked at Inuhime. Inuhime glanced down at Kagome. "Sorry for ruining this day, Kagome. I just can't stand it when a mother abuses her pup for no reason at all. Come, we should return to the palace before Sesshomaru send the guards out unnecessarily."

Kagome giggled and she nodded. Sesshomaru has been a little more protective since Natsume was born. He would send guards out all over the whole western lands to find them if they weren't home on a specific time. All-in-all, Natsume meeting the nearest youkai village was great, considering of the incident. Kagome couldn't fault Inuhime for acting what she did. She knew that she'd had forgiven her mother, but she also knew that some of those memories still hurt her. Even after all that, her wounds of her heart still needed to be mended.

The people of said village was thankful that their lady had taken the time to visit the village. Usually, a village headsman, youkai and human alike, would visit the lord and lady of their land and then he would return and spread the news throughout his village. They were satisfied with their lady and their future lady. They, finally, after all those years have hope. Hope for a peaceful and prosperous life.

Later that evening, it was time to introduce Natsume to the council and the lords and ladies of the court. Sesshomaru pouted. Yes, actually, pouted. He didn't want to do this, but THEY and his parents were pressuring him. Well, more like the council than anyone else. Kagome glanced at him from the corner of her eyes.

"Sesshomaru?"

"Hn?"

"Everything will be fine. You'll see." She stood up from her vanity and walked towards Sesshomaru in those 12 layers of kimono, which she hated more than anything. However, she knew that it wouldn't be fair if they did and she didn't; simply because she was the Lady of the West. Inukimi, and with the help of Inuhime, taught her the ways of the court. Some of it was so ridiculous; like wearing 12 layered kimono. The others were understandable like having your head up high; no matter if they were slandering against you or not. Always keep your dignity in front of them. Speak when spoken to. Mind your manners. Respect your elders and so forth and so on.

Kagome stood in front of him while he was sitting on the futon. He put his head on her stomach and then wrapped his arms around her waist. Kagome could heard him inhaling deeply.

"It's not that I am nervous, Kagome. It's because I wish not to introduce her until she was older. I don't get nervous."

"Oh?"

He nodded as he looked up at her. "This Sesshomaru doesn't get nervous."

"Are you afraid?" Sesshomaru narrowed his eyes at her. "This Sesshomaru fears no one or nothing."

She 'hn-ed' like he does. He looked at her lovingly. "Let this Sesshomaru make sweet love to you."

"Now?" He nodded. "Right this second?" He nodded. "What about Natsume?"

"Nanami is watching over her as we speak. You do not wish for this one make sweet love to you?" His voice sounded sad, which doesn't set right in Kagome's mind.

Rather than answer verbally, she'd kissed him passionately. He responded to her kiss, immediately. They were forced to separate due to a lack of oxygen. Both of their chests were heaving.

"This Sessshomaru..." He took off her first layer. "... would like to hear it..." He took off two to four more off. "... from that..." He finished undressing her. "... pretty little mouth of yours," he said seductively. She was now in her naked glory. She still blushed when he taken in her nude form like it was the first time seeing it. He chuckled at her blushing self. "Ever the modest one, I see."

She gave him a sexy smirk. She straddled him as he still had his kimono on, which will be rectify soon. She leaned into him until she was near his ear lobe, which she nibbled on a little. She whispered huskily. "No, this Kagome isn't being modest."

"Oh, then why were you blushing like you were, my omae?"

"Because, anata, you looked at me like you first saw me. This Kagome loves that. That turns this one on more," she answered seductively. Kagome could really feel his erection. "Let this Kagome undress you, my anata."

Sesshomaru waited until she got off of him. He stood between her and the door; just in case someone foolishly interrupt them (i.e. Inukimi and/or InuTaisho.) No one sees her naked flesh, but him and only him. Kagome undo his obi, his haori, and the other three layers rather slowly. It was so torturous to Sesshomaru. However, once she was finished he immediately picked her up and practically threw her on the futon and he jump on and crawled her rather slowly. Kagome wasn't really that surprised when he did that, but she was surprised to find that he was crawling to her slowly.

She thought, "Damn, that youkai could turn me on more than I realized." She saw him smirked because he knew what effect that he had on her. "Damn, even that sexy ass smirk of his turns me on."

Once he once upon her; face to face, she gulped. He kept that sexy smirk on when he sat up on his knees. Then he unexpectedly grabbed her legs and dragged her near him. She squealed in excitement.

"We haven't done this in a long, long while," he said huskily as he began to tease her clit with his long sensuous finger, which earned him a grateful moan from her. He noticed that she was wet and ready for him. No need to four-play long. "My omae, you are already so wet and ready for me, however..." He trailed off because he began to lick and suck on his treasure until she came.

"Oh, Kami! Sesshomaru, make love to me, now!"

He chuckled. "So demanding, aren't we?"

"Oh please, Sesshomaru! I need you so much that it hurts."

He looked as if he was thinking on rather or not he would indulge her, which he would, but not until...

"Oh, please anata. I need you." He could hear the begging in her voice.

"As my lady wishes." He got between her legs and penetrated her. She groaned which was music to his elfin ears. He yearned to hear more from her. He made her moaned, groaned, and hissed in pleasure until he was exhausted as he reached his peak.

"Come with me, my omae!" They came together. He fill her up with his seed and was now knotted in her. Kagome noticed that he knotted in her; not that she mind, but they had to meet the court and council members.

"Sesshomaru, are you knotted in me," she asked sleepily. She felt him nodded against her neck. "So much for meeting the council and the court."

He chuckled. "They can wait."

She giggled. "You're so evil."

He smirked. "I know."

They both fell asleep as Sesshomaru held her closer, if that was even possible.
