Part II of II: Orochi's Revelation and the Death of Akira

Zokushi and Ichiko watched the battle between Sesshomaru and Orochi. Orochi was a skilled warrior, which didn't really surprised Sesshomaru. It was because Ichiko told them that Orochi can fight good for a human and if he had youki enhancing his abilities such as agility. With his enhanced power, he could matched Sesshomaru.

The fight had gone on more than an hour, Zokushi thought, "Perhaps, I gave him too much youki. Hmm, no matter. It's time to end Orochi." She looked at Ichiko. She nodded signaling that she's ready. "We have one shot at this." She looked at Ichiko and noticed that she had her bow and arrow ready to strike. She revealed a small bag and put the bag's loop on the end of the arrow. She can't wait to see the look on Akira's face when it would be revealed that her mate was a human, what is the very thing that she hated the most. She pulled the arrow back. She was ready to fire the arrow. She await for the perfect time to fire the arrow.

At the Western Palace...

Kimiko had finally finished the spell that would help to solve the dilemma with Kagome, Inuhime, and Inukimi's situation. Kimiko had to change into her true form, which she was a little bit bigger than InuTaisho's true form. They gasped in awe at the size of her. Kimiko communicate via telepathy to Inuhime to tell her to recite the spell, but not before they drink a potion that would help with the temporary switch. Once they drank the potion, Inuhime recited the spell. Instantly, they saw that their swollen bellies shrank as the unborn pups were teleported to her great-grandmother's womb. It felt strange for Kimiko because it has been a very long while since she pregnant with a pup; let a lone three.

Kimiko told Inuhime to call the other pups to get on her. She will be taking them to sky palace. Once the pups/children arrived, they stared in awe of Kimiko's inu form. Once they were on her, they were instructed to hang on tight, then they were off to go to the palace of the sky.

Kagome asked Inuhime if she could transport her there, which she agreed wholeheartedly. Both female inudaiyoukai summoned their youki cloud. They are on there way to the Central Lands, where the battle was currently taken place.

At the Central Lands...

Zokushi and Ichiko readied their bow and arrows and fired. Sesshomaru jumped back just before both hit their mark over Orochi's form. Orochi felt some powder-like substance fell on him. "What the...," he yelled.

Orochi youkai form began to vanish. Akira was shock what she was seeing. Zokushi smirked. She loved the look on her face. "You're... you're a human!" She was too shock to move.

Orochi looked, coldly, at his youkai mate. "And your point is." He looked straight ahead. That was when he saw his sister, Ichiko with a bow still in her hand. "You! How dare you betray me!" Ichiko remained silent. She has no words for him. She was mainly searching for what Kikyo was talking about.

"Where is it, brother?"

"Where is what, traitor?"

"The circular thingy."

"Oh." He put his hand into his sleeves. "You mean this, sister. This will kill all of you worthless youkai!" He brought his hand and threw down the orb to the ground, where it exploded. The reiki that was in it burned and purified Akira's allies.

Orochi smiled when he heard screams of agony coming from all around him.

He yelled, "Kami gives me..."

He interrupted by his sister' voice, "defeat!" When the light of the reiki faded, there revealed Inuhime, Kagome, Keiko, Zokushi, and Ichiko standing around protecting the youkai on the allies' side with a strong barrier for those who hadn't mated with a miko. "Oh, it seems to me like your mate survived."

"But how?" He was bewildered.

Inuhime responded, "It's simple really. When one mates with a miko or monk, the youkai inherits some reiki to protect them from all reiki attacks. It, also, depends how powerful a miko or monk was. If one mates with a weak one, he/she wouldn't be able to survive. My brothers and my mate mated with powerful priestesses."

"But how did they survived?!" He pointed to her father, mother, and their allies. "Surely they all didn't mate with a priestess or monk!"

"Are you that dense that you didn't notice that barriers that surrounded them to protect them," Zokushi asked. She was not impressed with him.

Once Akira got out of her shock-paralysis, she yelled, "You! You killed my allies! Now you will die!"

Orochi didn't see it coming. Akira had torn him to pieces. Inuhime said apathetically, "This reminds me of something that happened a very long time ago. Do you remember Akira?"

Akira was panting as Orochi's blood dripped from her claws. "Yes, you killed my brother in a similar fashion. What's your point, Inuhime?!"

Inuhime smirked cruelly. "It was the same way that your father died."

Akira's eyes widened. "You were the one who killed my father!" Inuhime nodded. "You will die!" She grabbed her sword.

"Seitoshi no Tenga," she said as the fan instantly. They eyed each other. "I should have ended you a long time ago."

"Like you can!"

"We'll see." Suddenly she charged at Akira.

As Inuhime was fighting Akira, Zokushi, Keiko, and Ichiko shot down every priestess or monk that was there.

Three hours later...

Akira and Inuhime were still fighting. They, both, received deep cuts and gashes. They were bloody all over. They, both, knew that they had just one hit left. They charged at each other. Inuhime attacked Akira, which she side-stepped. She, quickly went behind Inuhime with her sword to her throat.

"Now you die," she whispered into Inuhime's ear. However, just before Akira could move, Inuhime front kicked her in the face, which cause her to stubble. Inuhime twisted her sword with Akira's, which made her loose it and flipped over and stabbed in the ground. Akira turned to run to get her weapon, but Inuhime tripped her. That made her fall on her face. She quickly turned around and watched as Inuhime advanced in on her.

"Please, have mercy!"

Inuhime eyebrow quirked. "I have no mercy for the likes of you." She aimed her sword. "Kiru no Tama" She immediately stabbed her in the heart. Akira shrieked in agony. "It's finally over." Then she fainted.

Hikaru screamed as he ran to her, "Inuki!"
