After the battle with Akira, Inuhime fainted, which made her mate run to her. He put her head into his lap. "Please, mate, don't leave..."

Kagome left Sesshomaru's side to go and check on Inuyasha. Sesshomaru, his mother, and his father went to where Inuhime had fallen. Sesshomaru touched his general's shoulder. He said, "She'll be fine in a few hours. Probably tomorrow. Let's us go and inspect the damages and loses. My mother and father are here if she would need anything." Hikaru nodded and picked up Inuhime and gave her to her father. "I'll leave her to you, for now." InuTaisho nodded. InuTaisho and Inukimi returned to camp.

Inuyasha and Keiko were hugging again when Kagome came by. She saw that Kikyo was laying on the down. She looked peaceful. "How...," Kagome trailed off. She couldn't finish that sentence. Inuyasha went to Kagome and gave her a hug. "Let me get Sesshomaru and he would resur..."

"No," Inuyasha interrupted.

"Why?"

"Because I promised her that I won't have Sesshomaru to resurrect her with Tenseiga. I think that she wanted to die, but not for the wrong reason."

"Like fighting on Orochi's side." He nodded. "Inuyasha, um, Inuhime fainted after her fight with Akira."

"What?! You just now telling me!"

"She... she's fine. She just need to rest. That's all."

"That's a relief. By the way, did you really killed those miko and monks? I have a difficult time believing that Kikyo would willingly kill a human, much less than her fellow miko."

Keiko giggled. "No, we didn't kill them. The arrows that we shot didn't harm them. It just rid of their holy powers. Kikyo said that the Great Priestess felt that those who are close-minded and have hatred in their hearts don't deserve to have them. She'd given them those arrows for the war for that purpose." Inuyasha nodded.

Meanwhile, at the Western Camp, InuTaisho and Inukimi were sitting by their only daughter. Just then a thought came into InuTaisho's mind. "Mate, why is it that I don't smell our unborn pup?"

She giggled, then she explained to him that her grandmother was, at the moment, pregnant with their pup and their grand-pups. She also said that the other pups/children are at the Sky Palace." InuTaisho nodded. Sesshomaru inquired the same thing when they returned to camp. They also informed Hikaru that their unborn pup was safe.

Afterwards, the Lords and Ladies of the East, West, North and South went home. The war was long; too long in the eyes of the youkai. The females who were pregnant was pregnant again.

A month down the road, Inuhime bore Hikaru their first son named Kiyoshi*. Few more months later, Kagome gave birth to twins, one boy, who they named, Inumaru*, and the other twin, a girl named, Mizuki*. Also Inukimi bore a daughter to InuTaisho, named, Yuzuki*, on the same day.

500 years later...

Kagome and family waited until her past self left for the final time to go see her mother, her grandfather, and Souta. She was the first to go up to the shrine.

"Momma, I'm here!"

"Ka... kagome? Did you forgot something?"

"Mom, I am not the Kagome that just left. I am the present Kagome."

Aiko stood back a little and really look at her daughter. She noted her hair was longer. She looked as if she was 30 yrs. old. "Oh Kagome!" Aiko hugged her daughter tightly.

"Mom, I... can't... breathe."

"Oh, I am sorry, Kagome. I am just excited. Are you here alone?"

"No, they are waiting by the road. Why don't you let them come up?"

"Well, it's a lot of people. Some of them had to stay home, but the one who was pregnant with while I was here is waiting along with my sisters-in-law. Why don't I just go out there and get them."

"Yeah, that would be a good idea."

Kagome went back outside and yelled; not to aloud, but loud enough for inuyoukai ears to hear, "Everyone come up here."

When everyone went up to the house, Aiko was surprise to see how many people. She saw a man with short, black hair and wore a business suit. Aiko tilted her head. "Um, Kagome? Where's Sesshomaru?"

Kagome smirked and elbowed her mate. "You can let your disguise go now, Sesshomaru. That goes for all of you!"

They waiting for their pack leader let go his human disguise and when he go, the transformation was magical. Sesshomaru's hair went from jet black to silver, as the other ones did just the same except for the one who had red hair. Aiko guessed that might be Shippo, since he was the only one, who looked like he reached maturity not so longer ago. She noticed the three, who had silver hair and a crescent moon on their foreheads. She also guess that they are her grandchildren.

Kagome cleared her throat. "Mom, this is Natsume, our first born. These are the twins, Inumaru and Mizuki. There are also three more, but they stayed home."
Natsume was a little taller than Kagome. She was wearing a purple v-top and black denim pants. She looked as if she was about 20 human yrs. Inumaru was the same height as Inuyasha. He was wearing a red shirt and blue jeans. Mizuki was as tall as her mother. She was wearing a golden yellow sweater and a pair of blue jeans. She and her twin brother looked as if they were about 18 or 19 yrs old.

Natsume said as she went to her and gave her a hug, "So, you're our grandmother? Mom has been talking about you ever since I could remember."

"Please, you don't need to call me 'grandmother'. Grandma is fine."

"Alright, grandma."

Inumaru whistled as he hugged her, "So, that's where mom go her good looks from." After that remark, Sesshomaru hit his son on the back of the head.

"Oww, dad! That hurts!"

"Where are your matters, pup? You don't talk to your grandmother like that. Please, forgive our son's inappropriate words. He had a bad influence."

"Father, Uncle Yasha's isn't a bad influence," Natsume said in defense of her inuhanyou uncle.

"Mizuki, would you like to hug your grandma?" When she didn't answer, Kagome sighed. "Sorry, mom, she's shy."

Aiko chuckled. "That's alright, Kagome. Where is Inuyasha and Kikyo?"

Kagome frowned. "Mom, Kikyo'd died by saving Inuyasha's life."

"As for my brother, he and his new mate, Keiko..."

"New mate?" Natsume interrupted. "Uncle Yasha and Keiko mated after the war. You made it sound like they just mated."

"War?"

"Mom, lets sit down and I'll tell you all about it."

After Kagome told her mother about the war and the happenings afterwards, that was until a voice interrupted them.

"Sis, is that you?"

"Souta!" She ran and hug her little brother. "Where's grandpa?"

"Begone youkai,' the said person yelled as he threw sutras at them, but then he recognized the adults. "Kagome? Lord Sesshomaru?!"

"Grandpa! How many times do I had to tell you that you have no holy power!" She sighed and then introduced the pups to them as Shippo and Rin came up and hugged their grandmother.

Rin and Shippo mated once they were old enough. At first, their parents were against the idea, but they rationalized since they weren't related by blood then it was fine. Sort of, fine in Kagome's point of view. Inuyasha and Keiko mated after the war as was stated earlier. Inukimi and InuTaisho had many more pups, besides, Yuzuki ,much to Sesshomaru's and Inuyasha's chagrin and Inuhime's delight. Zokushi and Ichiko never mated, but they rose, with the help of Akira's mother, Kahōmono. He didn't turned out anything like his father and/or Akira. Sesshomaru, Kagome, and his biological grandmother thanked the Kami everyday, especially, since he and Natsume are set to mate soon. The young twins hadn't found their mates yet nor do they want to. A hundred years after the war, Kimiko joined her mate after so many years of being separation. As for Inuhime, Hikaru, and their son, Kiyoshi, they still live with their Lord and Lady of the West. They also had many more pups after their first born.

In the Spirit World, Kagome's father, Kikyo, Kimiko, Sango, Miroku, Amaterasu, and Izanami watched the scene through Amaterasu's mirror.

"This is just as it should be," Kagome's father said with a happy expression on his face.

Everyone 'hmm' in agreement.
