Chapter 13
I stood over Anakin with the practice swords at his throat as he laid there on his back looking up at me with a total shock on his face as he realized that he was beat.
" Ok you got me." Anakin said as I looked down at him and gave him a smile.
He lifted up his hand and I took it and moved backwards as I helped him up off the mat.
" It's good to be back home, I don't know about you but I'm hungry." I said as Anakin got to his feet and he pulled me into his arms and held me.
" Yeah it's good to be back here, so where do you want to go an eat at today?" Anakin asked before he leaned his head down and gave me a quick kiss.
" Um ... I would like to have a picnic in the park, we can get something at Dex's and then take it to the park and eat it there." I said as we walked over to our bags and put the practice swords up before getting out our towels and wiping the sweat off our faces.
" Ok that sounds great, but first I need to get into the refresher." Anakin said as he picked up his bag.
" That sounds great, hey Kenley." I said as Anakin and I were walking out of the gym.
" Paddy, Anakin hey guys, Paddy I'm so glad to see you up and about." Kenley said as she came up to me and giving me a hug.
" Thanks Kenley and it's great to be back and to the back of the living too, Master Don." I bowed my head to Master Don before they walked into the gym.
" You know that I'm glad to have you back too, I almost didn't make it without you." Anakin said as we walked down the hallway to the turbo lift.
" I know I could feel you there with me the whole time that I was in the hospital." I said as we got onto the lift and it took down to the level that we need.
" You could tell I was there the whole time, then why couldn't I feel you?" Anakin said as he looked at me.
" I guess I had you blocked so that way I could heal." I said as the lift stopped on the level where our quarters were.
" I think that's what Obi-Wan and one of the healers said too." Anakin said as we walked down the hallway to the door.
" Yeah I think that too." I said as Anakin stepped forward and opened the door.
" After you My Lady." Anakin said as he bowed to me.
" Thank you, um ... hello master." I said as I came into the room.
" Hello you two and how was your work out." Obi-Wan said as he looked up from his data pad.
" It was good and I even beat Anakin this time." I said putting my bag on my bed before going into closet and getting my clothes and heading for the refresher.
" Really are you sure that he didn't let you." Obi-Wan said as he looked over at Anakin and saw the look that what I said was true come across Anakin's face.
" Yes she really did, beat me well I need to get into the refresher." Anakin said getting some clean clothes before leaving the room and going to the public refresher.
Twenty minutes later we both came back into the main room of our quarters and said bye to Obi-Wan before heading off to Dex's to get our lunch.
" Anakin and Paddy it's great to see you again, so what can I get for you today?" Dex said as we came into the diner.
" Hey Dex, we would like to have Nerf sandwiches and your famous Spice Cake and would like it to go please." I said as we came up to the counter.
" Sure two Nerf sandwiches, chips, drinks and Spice Cake." Dex said as he nodded before going to the kitchen to fix their sandwiches.
We turned and faced the window so that way we could watch the people walk around the streets of the upper level of Coruscant.
Five minutes later, we were back in the speeder with our lunch and heading over the one of the parks.
Anakin parked the speeder, we got out, and he grabbed the basket that had the food in it.
Walking around the park, I found a place by the pond that was under a tree, the only of a few trees that is on Coruscant.
" This a perfect spot." I said laying the blanket down on the ground.
" Yeah this is a prefect spot, I just hope those water fowls stay were they are. while we eat. Man I can't wait to dig into this sandwich." Anakin said as he sat down against the trunk of the tree.
" I just hope that we have a peaceful lunch without someone coming over here and bugging us about wanting some kind of help." I said handing Anakin his sandwich.
" Tell me about or what's worst other Padawans or Younglings coming over wanting to spar with your or something like that." Anakin said as he took the sandwich and opened the container that it was in and began to eat it.
" Yes I know what you mean, and speak of two of the Padawans that I didn't want to see." I said and looking up and saw the four girls that are always trying to get Anakin's attention or brushing up against him.
" Damn if the whores of the Order." Anakin said as he too saw them and he caused me to laugh.
" You are so bad, you know that, well just hope that they don't see us." I said taking a bite of my sandwich.
" I hope so too." Anakin said as he reached over, grabbed his drink, and took a sip of it.
The gods were with us because the four Padawans just kept on walking and never once looked our way.
Thirty minutes later, we were heading back to the speeder and going back to Dex's so we could return his food containers and basket before heading back to the Temple and to our next classes.
" So what are you going to do now?" Anakin asked as we got out of the speeder and began to walk over to the turbo lift.
" I'm going to sit in the psychology class that Master Yoda teaches." I said as we stepped into the lift.
" Well I'm going to go fine Obi-Wan and kick his ass in sparring or I may just go with you to that Psych class." Anakin said as we stepped off the lift and was heading to our quarters when we saw both Masters Windu and Yoda standing out side the door with Obi-Wan.
" Masters." Anakin and I said together.
" Padawans Skywalker and Naberrie we just got a message from a senator on Naboo, and it seems that someone is after this senator." Master Windu said looking at me.
" Ok so do we know who this person is?" I asked knowing that it could be Amidala because she was retired from politics or any type of government stuff.
" No we don't and all we have is this coordinates." Master Windu said as he handed me the data chip that had the coordinates on it.
" When do we leave?" Anakin said hoping that we leave very soon.
" Now you leave, get there soon you can, help this senator we must." Master Yoda said as he looked up at the three of us.
" Ok we will get our stuff together and leave as soon as possible." Obi-Wan said as we nodded our heads in agreement.
" Then good luck and May The Force Be With the three of You." Master Windu said as he and Master Yoda bowed their heads to us and then left us standing outside our quarters.
" Well you heard the Masters lets get our stuff together and head out." Obi-Wan said opening the door and we all walked into the room.
Ten minutes later I had all my stuff together as did Anakin and Obi-Wan; we then headed out of the room and up to the ship.
As we were walking down the hallway, we came across Kenley and Mayla as they were coming back from the gym.
" Hey Paddy so what are you doing?" Kenley asked as she saw that we had a small bag in our hands.
" Hey guys, well we are off to another mission." was all I could say when we heard the meditation bell ring.
" Ok well we hope that you be careful and see you when you get back." Mayla said as she nodded to us before her and Kenley headed off towards the refreshers before going to their quarters to meditate.
We finally got to the ship and boarded it; we headed to our quarters and put our stuff in them before going to the cockpit.
I sat down in the pilot's chair, started up the ship, and got everything ready for take off.
Once we left the outer space of Coruscant Obi-Wan handed me the chip that had the coordinates on it; after putting the coordinates into the Navi-computer I hit the hyperspace switch and all the stars blurred in front of us.
"Ok we are now in hyperspace so that means I can sit back for a couple of hours which means its meditation time." I said sitting down on the floor, crossed my legs, and began my meditations.
Two hours later, the Navi-computer's alarm came on to let us know that we are coming up to Naboo.
Like before, we give our ID, the cargo and the destination to the flight controller before heading to our destination.
" Ok I'm going to a place that I haven't been to before so bear with me in trying to find a place to land." I said as we flew over the swamps and the mountains before coming to a huge valley.
Both Anakin and Obi-Wan just nodded as they sat in there seats and watched the scenery fly by.
Five minutes later, we came to the spot where the landing beacon was located; as I was landing the ship, I saw a lone hooded figure standing next a trunk of a tree.
I landed the ship and shut off the engines while Obi-Wan went into the lounge and opened up the hatch door and let the ramp down.
Getting up from the seat I left the cockpit and long with Obi-Wan and Anakin we walked down the ramp and stopped in front of the lone figure.
" Thank you for coming on a very short noticed, we don't know who to turn too. My Lady." The hooded figure called out as another hooded figure stepped out of the small clumps of woods
The figure slowly came up to us and stopped in front of me, then very slowly, the person lowered her hood, and Amidala look straight at me with fear in eyes.
" Padme, Anakin and Obi-Wan please help me, someone has been trying to kill me again, and this time we believe it someone in the Trade Federation because they know that there is a bill that is coming up in the Senate that is to be voted on next week and they will do any thing to make sure that bill is passed and the only way that will happen is to kill off everyone who is opposed to the bill." Amidala said as we stood there for a couple of minutes before I went up to her and pulled her into my arms and gave her a sisterly hug.
" So what is there you want us to do for you Ami." Obi-Wan said as he came over to us.
" Well I need the protection, and from the look on your face you were told a Senator was in need of protection, well guess what that Senator is me." Amidala said as she looked at the three of us and noticed that we were confused.
" I thought you were retired from politics?" I said as Anakin and Obi-Wan went over to the other hooded figure and grabbed the bags that she had put on the ground next to the ramp.
I all of sudden felt a present and I pulled out my Lightsaber just before the first shot came out from the woods. I got in front of Amidala and reflected the shot that hit one of the trees.
" Obi-Wan take Sabe and Amidala and get them on board." I called out to Obi-Wan who had pushed Sabe head of him on the ramp, and then grabbed Amidala and pushed her up the ramp as they got inside the ship.
Another blaster shot came at me but this time it came from another direction, like the one before I reflected it back into the woods.
" Padme look out!" Anakin yelled out as two more shots came out from where the first shot came out.
Anakin got beside me and we reflected both shots and two more shots came out on either side of us.
" I'll take the ones in the front of us, you can take any other side." I said just as another shot came towards us.
" I'll take the on the right." Obi-Wan said as he came down the ramp just before it went up and the hatch door closed.
" Ok then I'm taking the left side lets do this." Anakin said as we separated and went after the people who were shooting at us.
I went after the two who started shooting out Amidala; I let the Force guide me to one of the trees that were not to far from the clearing. I was so quiet that he didn't even hear me come up to him until it was to late.
" You move you're dead." I said as I lowered my light saber at the guy's throat.
" Damn a Jedi, our master didn't say anything about Jedi." the guy said just before there was another shot and missed not only me but the guy that was kneeling behind the tree.
I threw my saber away from me and let the Force guide it to the person who was shooting at me and the Force sent the saber back to me after I hear the second person scream out in pain.
" Get up and if you try anything I won't be haste to kill you." I said pulling the guy up to his feet and let the Force guide me to the other person.
Ten minutes later, I found the other guy sitting against a rock and I saw that he was holding his arm and I look down by his feet and saw his hand.
" Help him up and get moving back to my ship." I said as I push the guy to the other guy.
I stood there and watch the guy help his partner up and they moved passed me so I made them walk ahead of me.
As we came to the clearing where the ship was, I saw that Obi-Wan and Anakin was there with them were the people who were shooting at us.
" Ok you are going to tell us who you are working for." I said just as the police showed up to take the men away.
" They work for the Trade Federation we have been looking for these two when Lady Naberrie called us and told us that someone was trying to kill her daughter." the police officer said coming over to me and taking the two guys into custody.
" So my sister was right about someone from the Federation was after her, now my question is who hired these two and who were they suppose to kill." I said coming up to the one of the guys.
" He is the partner of Gabrieel and he wants the Orange Crystal that was taken from him." the guy said as just before he made the mistake spitting on me.
" Oh you just did a huge mistake there buddy." I said as I bent down and grabbed the guy's hair and jerked his head back so that way he could see my face.
" You well tell me what his name is and where we can find him, if you don't tell me what I want then I will cut your fucking head off your body, do I make myself clear." I said in the guy's ear so no one would hear me but him.
" Yes ma'am, he is on Corellia in the warehouse district, and he has paid us to find the Jedi's Padawan and kill her because she knows to much." the guy said as the police office came up behind him and Anakin came over to me and laid his hand on my shoulder.
" What is the guy's name?" I said as the police officer help the guy to his feet.
" His name is Raphayal and you can find him in the warehouse number 6969." the guy said before the police started to take him to the wagon with the other three guys.
" Come Padme let's get going, Obi-Wan has Masters Windu and Yoda on the holo-cam." Anakin said as he helped me up the ramp and sure enough, both Masters Yoda and Windu were standing in front of us.
" Padawan Naberrie learn anything have you?" Master Yoda asked.
" Yes Master, the two people who were shooting at Amidala was sent by someone from the Trade Federation and as for the two that were shooting at me were hired by the partner of Gabrieel and the guy told me that we can find him in the warehouse on Corellia and the number of the building is 6969." I said giving them the information that I was given.
" I see, we will look into those two places but until we have the people all involve we feel that you guys should all separate and go to different places for a couple weeks. Obi-Wan we want you to take Senator Amidala to Tralus and you guys will be brother and sister and Anakin you and Padme will go to Delaya and you two will be Newlyweds, then in two weeks you guys will all come back to Coruscant." Master Windu said as he looked from both small group.
" Yes Master, so how will I and the Senator get to Tralus?" Obi-Wan asked.
" You all will fly to Alderaan while Padme and Anakin fuel up ship and get themselves some supplies, you two will go the public transportation and get a ride to Tralus. You guys all have a safe journey and May the Force be with you all." Master Windu said before they signed out.
" Great you two behave will I'm gone and try to stay out of trouble ok." Obi-Wan said with a laugh before Anakin and went to the cockpit.
" Thanks Master we love you too, we will be back once we are in hyperspace." Anakin said as he followed me to the cockpit.
Ten minutes later, we were in hyperspace on our way to Alderaan, but I wasn't in full hyperspace because I was tired and I could see it in everyone else's face that they were tired too.
" I'm confused I thought you retired from politics Ami." I said sitting down next to Anakin on the small couch with my cup of tea.
" I was but I got a call from the new Queen and she begged me to take over the seat of the Senator who passed away a couple of weeks ago." Amidala said.
" I see, I have been out of for a couple of weeks myself, this is the first week since I have been out of my coma." I said seeing Sabe coming out of the quarters that Amidala was going to use or should I say that Sabe was going to use because I know where she will be staying.
" That's right but they told me that you were beat up pretty badly, no one didn't tell me that you were in a coma." Amidala said as she looked at me with tears in her eyes.
" I'm sorry that we didn't tell you Ami, because we didn't want you to get all upset that's all." Obi-Wan said as he took Amidala's hand held it.
" That's ok understand, and I'm so very glad that you are ok Padme." Amidala said as she smiled over to me.
" Thanks, I well have this scar on my face thanks to Nehllsohn but we don't have to worry about him any more thanks to Anakin, well guys I'm tired so I'm going to go to bed, see you all in about five hours." I said getting up from the couch and headed for my room.
" Well I too am tired so I'll see you guys later." Anakin said getting up and following me to my room.
Obi-Wan got up and went to his room and about twenty minutes later Amidala showed up and they got undressed and got into bed were they made love to each other before falling sound asleep in each other.
" Um ... Anakin I think tonight I just want to sleep." I said getting undress and climbing into bed.
" Sure I can tell that you have a headache and very tired and I'm tired too." Anakin said as he undressed and also climbed into bed too.
" Thanks I love you." I said snuggling up to him.
" You're welcome and I love you too." He said pulling me into his arms and we both held each other as we fell sound asleep.
