"Jack please I know its difficult but try to sit still" Sam told me as she drove. We were following Max's directions but I was finding it difficult to stop fidgeting. It felt like Sam was driving slower than she actually was but I think I was distracting her.

Milton put his hand on my shoulder "We are going to find her" Milton told me for what must have been the eighteenth time "No matter what it takes we will get her back"

I sighed. "I know. I just need to find her. I need to do something"

"There's a few things we need to go over" Sam said. "Now listen please do not do anything reckless you are civilians remember do not take the law into your own hands Jack but the most important thing to remember is that you shouldn't touch anything you find as it could be used in evidence and get us that conviction. Okay Jerry do not touch!"

Milton pointed out the window "There it is or at least I think that is it. He was right"

Sam pulled off the road.

"Can we trust him? Max I mean" Jerry asked.

I didn't reply. I didn't know what to say. I am questioning my own uncle. Is that bad? What does that say about me? I should be defending him, after all he is my family, my blood. But he helped Lucas to take Kim and she is my family too, even if we are not blood it feels like we are. She doesn't deserve any of the crap that they have already put her through and we need to stop it, especially since its not just Kim in danger its her babies too. I just hope that those babies are just as strong as their mother.

"I don't know but we definitely can't trust Lucas" Milton said "Do you think that they will still be in there?"

"Hopefully" Sam said.

We split up to search whatever this place is. Everybody decided to go in pairs but I decided to go it alone. Okay it might be a stupid idea thinking I could take Lucas by myself but I felt like I could search quicker.

"She's got to be here still" I told myself as I searched the room right at the back furthest away from the road. My guess is that he would be keeping Kim as far away from the road as it was less likely he would be spotted.

I found myself in a torture chamber. It was something out of a horror movie. The most sickening smell blew up my nose making me feel sick to my stomach. It was the worst smell I have ever smelt a seriously bad mixture of blood and sick. My body was retching and I couldn't stop it, the smell being too overpowering. I threw up.

"oh my gosh the blood" Milton appeared at the door. His face was turning green, he had his hand over his mouth and nose. "there's so much blood, its everywhere"

"Kim was here" I told him "look at the chains hanging from the wall up there. There's blood on them too. Let's get out of this room its foul in here"

"I'm Jack she's not here" Sam said.

She was standing the next room which had been converted into a sort of bathroom. There were blood stains in the bath/shower and it was still wet. "I'm sorry but there is something you need to see. We know that they've been here and we've only missed them by about half an hour"

"What have you found?" I asked her. I just felt glad to be out of that horrible. Okay the rest of place isn't a palace but at least I am not feeling like I need to puke my guts up now.

Sam didn't say anything else as she led us into another room. Guys in white plastic suits were walking around combing for evidence. "Jack we think Kim wrote a note"

A man passed a see through bag.

"What do you think?" Sam handed it to me.

This place = evidence

I nodded. "This is definitely Kim's writing and she is the only one who uses my full initials"

"Where is she?" Milton asked.

"I have everyone working to try find them both they can't go far." Sam said. "Like Milton said before we are going to find her by any means necessary and we are sending that man behind bars"

"They left in a rush otherwise Lucas would have destroyed Kim's note" I realised.

"Jack there is one other thing" Sam said "come with me"

I followed her through into the hallway.

"Look at the ground" She said.

"Drag marks" Milton said "He was moving something heavy"

"we think that he gave Kim some drug - chloroform" A man said "DS Nixon we have found this"

He held out a white bit of cloth and it was soaked. "We think he drugged the girl and dragged her out. Maybe she put up a fight and he did it to control her"

Sam smiled "that's good Kim is fighting back she's not breaking yet"
