Well time for another update, and because I want to get this part of the story done so I can start silverwolf's idea, I'm gonna combine two chapters into one, there might be some details missing and I'm sorry about that.
Chapter 13
"Well master." I said "I'm glad to be leaving this place."
"As am I jack."Obi wan said as we prepared to leave this weird planet.
Suddenly Anikin burst in and pushed me out of my seat.
"HEY!"I yelled Anakin what are you-"
"The son took ahsoka!" Anakin said "let me fly!"
"WHAT!" I yelled scanning ahead of us and I saw the son in his giant bat form clutching a terrified ahsoka. the chase lasted about five minutes give or take when suddenly a giant stone pillar came into view.
"LOOK OUT!" Obi wan yelled mere seconds before we hit it.
we exited our crashed ship just in time to see the son disappear into a tower with ahsoka.
"Come on." I said
"Wait." Obi wan said. "we need to proceed with caution."
"Master he has ahsoka we need to move now!" I said
"We need to speak with the father." Obi wan said "He will know what to do."
"We don't have time." anakin said
"Master." I said "Why don't you go to the father, anakin and I will go and find ahsoka."
"Very well." Obi wan said clearly disagreeing with the plan but he knew that nothing would change our minds.
We made our way to the tower and began to climb it.
"I bet ahsoka is at the top." I said
"I was thinking the same thing." Anakin said
"I hate this place." I said under my breath.
When we reached the top of the tower anakin and I went separate ways. we decided that we had a better chance of finding her if we split up . I searched everywhere I could think of Until I found myself in some sort of garden and there I saw Obi wan, Anakin and ahsoka fighting each other.
"WHAT IS GOING ON?!" I yell
"Why hello jack." ahsoka said jumping over anakin and obi wan when she landed she moved to fast for me to dodge, she grabbed the front of my shirt and pulled me into a kiss.
"What has gotten into you?!" I said
"Jack!" Obi wan said "Be careful. Ahsoka has been corrupted by the son!"
"WHAT?!" I yelled before ahsoka delivered a powerful punch to my stomach.
"Sorry jack." Ahsoka said "My new master wants you. isn't that great."
"That was a cheap shot ahsoka." I said
"True." she smiled "but effective."
"what happened to you?" I said "The ahsoka I know is way too strong willed to be controlled by some dark goth brat."
"Never insult my master." Ahsoka said "For he will be yours now too."
After she said that ahsoka actually bit my neck.
"OW!" I said "Really!? Biting?! What are you four!?"
"Strange." Ahsoka said confused "You haven't been corrupted. It seems my master will have to corrupt you himself."
"Not going to happen." I said attempting to punch her. But she just grabbed my fist and kneed me in the stomach again. Almost causing me to black out from the pain, she was about to do so again until obi wan drew a strange looking blade, seeing it sent ahsoka into a rage for some reason.
Apparently that blade could control the son and since he corrupted ahsoka he ordered her to steal it for him, which she managed to do.
"Thank you young one." he said taking it from her. "Now your usefulness has ended."
After he said that he touched her forehead with two fingers and her eyes rolled into the back of her head and she collapsed, she wasn't breathing.
"no." I said horrified as power began to radiate from me. "NOOOOOO!"
Obi wan watched as I engaged the son, he was amazed at how I was able to keep up with him, and he began to remember, something I had told him once, it was just after Ahsoka's lightsaber had been stolen and the two of us were in the jedi counsel room, getting lectured about breaking the jedi way.
"Jack what do you have to say for yourself?" One of the masters asked.
"Nothing whatsoever." I said
"Believe that I do not." Yoda said calmly. "Speak jackson."
"Alright there is something but I really don't think I should." I said
"Why not jack?" Obi wan said
"Because the second I do all of you are going to get mad." I said "Its about the jedi way."
"There is nothing wrong with the jedi way." another master snarled.
"see." I said "I haven't even said anything and you're already angry."
"Please." Obi wan said motioning everyone to calm down. "You have to remember, jack wasn't brought up with our way. He only recently came to us. We can't expect him to completely understand the jedi way in a matter of months."
"Which is why I'd like to take this opportunity and ask jack what he thinks of our way." Luminara said "Well jack what do you think?"
Before I could say anything ahsoka jumped in. "Masters please don't punish jack, I instigated the first kiss, this is my…"
"Ahsoka stop." I said "You haven't done anything wrong."
"But jack." Ahsoka said
"No buts." I said "Now I believe master luminara asked me a question. Now tell me do you really want to know what I think?"
"Yes we do." Yoda said
"Alright." I said taking a deep breath. "I understand most of it, like anger, hatred, greed leading to the darkside, that I get that makes perfect sense."
"I sense a but coming." Obi wan said
"Yes." I said "But, love leading to the darkside? that is without a doubt the stupidest and most idiotic thing I have ever heard in my life."
"WHAT?!" The same master yelled "YOU DARE INSULT OUR WAY?!"
"Yes I do." I said calmly.
"Jack. Why do you think that?" Luminara said
"Because of what I was always taught." I said "My dad always taught me that love banishes darkness and gives you strength. it does not cause darkness and make you weak."
Now Obi wan understood what jack was talking about, the power he sensed from jack was enormous, but it wasn't enough to defeat the son. but the Father had appeared to try and stop the son but it wasn't working. In a final attempt to kill the father the son tried to stab him with the blade, but the sister got in the way saving the father but getting herself killed in the process.
"NOOOOO!" The son screamed changing into a bat and flying away.
The father just kept on apologizing to us.
"Forget that!" I said cradling ahsoka in my arms. "Can you help her?"
"No but you can." He said looking at anikin. He then talked anakin through a ritual which he did perfectly, it transferred the remaining life within the daughter to ahsoka, who awoke gasping for breath. The father told us that since his son had fallen to the dark side the sith have gained power, and that we should leave, since our ship had crashed and ahsoka and I were currently in the process of fixing it.
So. Do you want the bad news or the really bad news?" I said
"Lets try the bad news laced with a little optimism." Obi wan said
"We've got two cracked shilo pins, a busted power converter, the engine should be fired twice to dump debri, and the backup vents need charging." Ahsoka said
"Sounds terribly downbeat." Obi wan said "Can it be fixed?"
"I can reroute the primary initiator, weld the dampening vents, and that might give us enough power to leave the atmosphere." Ahsoka said
"Yeah but after that we've got no guarantee she'll hold together."
"We'll take our chances" Obi wan said "Jack may I speak with you?"
"Of course master." I said as we left the ship. "What is it?"
"Do you recall telling the council how your love for ahsoka gives you strength and guards you from the darkside?" Obi wan said
"Yes why?" I asked
"During the battle last night, I saw you use power you've never used before." Obi wan said "How did you do that?"
"I'm not sure master." I said "All I was thinking at the time was getting the son away from ahsoka so I could save her."
"Were you angry?" Obi wan asked
"Yes." I said "but not to the point where I'd lose myself to it."
"I think I understand what you ment that day jack." Obi wan said "You say your father taught you to value love as a strength?"
"Yes." I said
"Strange that someone like Master Koth who had the highest respect for the code would say that." Obi wan said
After that Anakin left to see the father,, he wasn't convinced that leaving was the best thing to do since the son had been consumed by the dark side
a few hours later ahsoka and I were taking a short break when obi wan woke us and told us to disengage the driving drives. After that the father appeared and told us that anakin had gone to a place strong with the darkside to confront the son. obi wan raced after him leaving ahsoka and myself to guard the ship.
Try it now." I said as I connected two wires together with a strip of duct tape I got out of the tool box.
"Finally" ahsoka said as the radio hummed to life she tried to send a distress call but no one answered. "Jack are you sure you connected the two correct wires?"
"Yes, I'm sure." I said as I continued to connect other wires to reroute the power couplers. "There try the engine now."
Ahsoka did and the ship roared to life, "Yes." I said coming up covered in soot and oil. "We did it.
"Yes we did," ahsoka said wiping the soot away from my mouth and giving me a kiss.
"Ahsoka jack come in." Obi wan said over the com. "Anakin has joined the son you two must disable the ship.
"But we just finished putting the stupid thing back together." I said
"Please listen." Obi wan said. "We must stop the son from leaving this place at any cost."
"Alright master." Ahsoka said grabbing the main power key from the ship "(I'm not sure if thats what she did but it seemed the most likely thing to do.)
We then left to find Obi wan and we found him climbing up the side of a magma pit.
"What kept you?" He asked as he climbed on the hover scooter we had brought with us, and we made our way to the father. When we got there we saw anikin speaking to the father, it had been revealed that the son had shown Anakin his future after the clone wars, but the father had made him forget it. when we were about to leave for our ship the son appeared and grabbed anakin by the throat and lifted him into the air.
"Anakin." I said as ahsoka, obi wan and I rushed forward, but the son pushed us back without even trying. The father saw the son had the same strange blade the sister had brought to the tower where the son took ahsoka, he then stabbed himself with it, and when the son pleaded with his father not to die anakin stabbed him with his lightsaber, killing him and the father.
"Now I die. My heart, broken." the father said "But knowing the role you will play."
"And what is that?" anakin asked
"You are the chosen one." He said growing weaker and weaker. "You have brought balance to this world. Stay on this path and you will do it again to the entire galaxy. But beware… your… heart." after he said those final words he sucumbed to his injuries and died, after that there was a loud rumbling sound, a bright flash of light and we woke up in our ship exactly where we were before we found ourselves on that strange planet.
"General Skywalker come in." we heard rex say.
"We read you rex." Anakin said "Can you hear me?"
"Yes sir standing by." Rex said "We were worried, you were off the scopes there for a moment."
"A moment?" Anakin said "we've been gone more than a moment rex."
"Sir, I don't understand." Rex said "You'll need to explain."
"you wouldn't believe me if I told you." Anakin said "We're coming in now."
"And so ends our journey into the twilight zone." I said as Anakin groaned and ahsoka giggled
Well thats it I'm so sorry I haven't updated this in so long, but hopefully I'll update it again soon, as well but just so you know for the time being I've discontinued monster prime, rise of the duel masters, and turtle prime until I get some of my others finished but I do plan to start them back up again. so just be patient.
