Chapter twenty seven – Move in…
He look at his left and then he look at his right. He sighed and yawns a little bit loud when he spotted Ichiru and Yuuki is sleeping in the class when the teacher is teaching in front. He mumble a little. He also want to sleep in the class as usual but he just can't today. He don't know why but… his eyes just can't sleep in the class today. He feels so jealous toward Ichiru and Yuuki. He want to sleep too!
Zero sighed once again. He can't sleep and he also can't pay attention to the teacher in front of the class. He just not in the mood. Since he know that he is pregnant two days ago, he can't stay still. He feel pathetic and he just feels like everyone who look at him today, saw him like he was a freak! Yes, he is a freak! There is no way in hell a man can get pregnant. What if everybody know about it? He sighed again. He glance at his side and he saw his classmate, a girl with a glasses and ponytail hair look at him. He frowned. Why she look at me? Did she know already? What about everyone else? They will know! They will know that I am pregnant! Zero is panicking.
"Are you okay, Zero?" ask Yuuki that afternoon when they go to the café for lunch.
"I am fine. Just fine," say Zero slowly. He don't want to be in public right now. Especially when there are students around who look at him.
"But you don't look fine to me," say Yuuki while she put the bento in front of Zero. She brings Zero's bento because Zero forgets to bring it that morning.
"Don't worry about me. I am just a little bit tired." Zero sighed. "I am tired," say Zero and he close his eyes for a while. He tries to forget his stress. And when he open his eyes, he glare at a few day class students who look at him. He hates them all.
"You need rest, Zero. I figure that you don't sleep in the class today. Our teacher and classmate freak out because of that," say Ichiru with a smirked. That's why they look at Zero in the class and the other excuse is… lately, Zero look more handsome and prettier that before. Even him as Zero's twins have to admit that. But he doesn't say it out loud.
"Yeah, you are right. I need rest. I won't go to class today. If you need to find me, give me a call. I need time for myself," say Zero and then he walk away. Yeah, he need to be alone. He don't know why but… he don't feel safe in that place.
Zero walk to the rooftop, but when he feel bored he walk to the Sun dormitory. It's been awhile since the last time he walk in this place. His room in Sun Dormitory is still tidy and its look like no one dares to put their foot inside his room. He smile a little. Good! He hates it when someone disturbs his things without permission. He walk to the bathroom and the first thing he saw is blood pills in the sink. He sighed. Did he need that thing again after what had happen? He don't think he can swallow that tasteless thing anymore after he know the taste of the real blood. What he mean by the real blood is… Kaname's blood. God, he can't forget Kaname's blood on his throat. He wants it. He really wants it.
He froze for awhile. What did he say? He wants it? He wants Kaname's blood? Oh my god! He must be crazy when he think that. He is the vampire hunter. There is no way he will let his vampire side control his body. Did he really want to be the creature that he despises the most? That was so low. This must be because of the hormone. Yeah, it's all because of the stupid hormone. Damn! He look into the mirror and he froze once again. Is that him in the mirror? Is that how he looks like right now and before? Damn! He looks just like a stupid girl with his long hair! He need to do something to make sure that he is still a boy. He must remember and make everyone remember that he is a boy! He need to do something. With that in mind he walk out from the Sun dormitory and walk to the town on his own.
The clock is almost 5 in the evening. It's time for the exchange class between day class students and night class students. As usual, Yuuki will escort and guard the night class students and day class students. The different is, she no longer wait for Zero's help. Furthermore, Zero is pregnant so she can't depend on Zero anymore. But, she is lucky because Ichiru is there to help her. Just a few minutes later, all the day class students silent so suddenly. Yuuki and Ichiru froze. What the hell is happening? But when they saw that they look at somewhere, Yuuki and Ichiru turn around to look at where they look at. Both of them startled when they saw Zero is there. And what the surprise is… Zero is no longer having his long hair. Zero already cut his hair short just like how his hair looks like before.
"Zero… you cut your hair?" ask Yuuki slowly. She love to look at Zero with his long hair but… he love Zero with his short hair the most!
"Yeah, I just think that I don't look good in those long hairs. I am not Ichiru. So I cut it. Furthermore, I need to make sure of something," say Zero while he lean on the trees.
"What?" ask Ichiru.
"I need to make sure that I am still a boy. After what had happen these days, I need to make sure that everyone knows that I am a boy. I am not a fucking girl. I don't want everybody to forget that!" say Zero while he greets his teeth. He glare at a few day class students harshly. "What are you looking at, stupid?!" scolded Zero unsatisfied when a few day class students look at him.
Yuuki and Ichiru just shook their head.
"You cut your hair?" ask Kaname when he walk through them. He glance at Zero for awhile. He sighed in his head. He had to admit, Zero still look good even though he had a short hair. His Zero is still attractive. So beautiful in his eyes.
"You got a problem if I cut my hair?" ask Zero with a glare. He folded his hand on his chest.
"No… not really. You look good. I will see you later," say Kaname and he walk away from there. All the night class students walk behind him quietly.
Zero snorted. Whatever…
That night, when they all sit on the table to eat their dinner, Zero opens his mouth to all of them. He need to say it. He can't stand it anymore. He can't feel safe in the day class and he feels like all the day class students look at him just like he is a freak. He is not a freak! And he won't let anyone in the day class know that he is pregnant. So… this is the right choice.
"Chairman, I have made a decision," say Zero suddenly. He glance at Chairman Cross and his master, Yagari Touga to look at their reaction.
"What decision?" ask him.
Zero look at Chairman Cross for a while and took a breath in. Okay, this is the right decision. "I will accept it. I will take your offer to transfer to the Moon Dormitory," said Zero in one breath.
Everyone froze when they hear that. Wow, Zero make his decision so fast. They think Zero will decline and they need to push him or Zero will accept the offer but it takes time. But… now… only two days but Zero already make his decision. Chairman Cross smile happily and Yagari Touga just frowned. He don't like the idea but he can't say anything because he know that was the best for Zero for now.
"That's good. I will tell Kaname about it. You can move in anytime you want. I already arrange your belonging to your room in Moon Dormitory," say Chairman Cross cheerfully.
Zero frowned. Already? All his things is in Moon Dormitory? Wow, they really want me to move out. Zero sighed. It's not that he really care for now. He finished his vegetable soup and walk to the kitchen. He will do his own dishes. He still doubts it. Will they accept him there? He is ex-human and a vampire hunter. All the vampires hate him. He knows that. He sighed. Does he have another choice?
In the class, all night class students just sit silently and do their own work. No one bother to ask Kaname even though they really want to know about it. All the things that arrived yesterday night and Kaname has order them to bring it to the room next to his room seem suspicious. Especially when they smell Zero on all that things. Why must Kaname order them to keep Zero's things to the room next door? Will Zero move in with them in Moon Dormitory?
Hanabusa Aidou sighed when he lean on his cousin. He sometimes glances at Kaname who sit in the end of the class next to the window. He won't satisfy if he doesn't ask it to Kaname himself. He glance at Ruka who just silent at Kain's side.
"Should I ask him?" ask Aidou hesitate. He glance at Kaname and then he glance back at Kain.
"I don't know and I don't care. It's up to you. Just ask him if you want to know the truth," say Kain lazily. He yawn and put his head on his hand on the table.
"Of course I want to know the truth. You know that all that things is reek with Kiryuu's smell. There must be something happens here and he don't tell us just yet. Don't tell me that Zero Kiryuu will stay in our dorm." Aidou pouted. He really want to ask Kaname but he don't want Kaname scold him in the class. And the idea to get Zero as his dorm mate really is unbelievable. Can they stay in one dorm without kill each other?
"Like what you said, he just doesn't tell us yet. Want it or not, he will tell us soon. So, just wait or Kaname-sama will punish you again," say Kain while he stroke his hair. His cousin really likes to make a problem. Why can't he stay still for awhile?
"Huh, I hate it when you say that," huff Aidou and he walk away to Takuma, Shiki and Rima who eat Pocky not far from there.
Kaname just silent. He hear everything they said but he just don't want to open his mouth just yet. He know that he need to tell all night class students that Zero will join them soon but… he need time to tell them. Maybe tonight after the classes. That night after all the classes is finished, Kaname gather all the night class students in the Moon Dormitory.
"I need to tell something to all of you. And I know that maybe some of you already can guess what I want to talk about," say Kaname and he glance at Aidou and Ruka. He give them the silent treatment. He's not mad and he just wants to make them know that he hear them. Every fucking word they had said.
Aidou and Ruka just silent. They look at the floor.
"You saw that Chairman Cross has sent me something and that something is someone belonging. And I put it to the room next door to mine. That's mean, whoever he is, he is important and I want you all to accept him no matter what," say Kaname more to order. He want Zero to move in without any problems.
Everyone just silent with that order. Even though Kaname make it sound like a request, but it is a silent order for his inner circles. Especially when they know Zero's secret. Zero and the baby.
"And I think, most of you guys already know who he is and yes… he will move in soon. So I want no problems from all of you. If I hear you guys make a ruckus, you will answer to me. Are you clear?" ask Kaname with a smile. But everyone knows what that smile means.
"Yes, we understand, Kaname-sama," say all of them in unison.
"Good. Now get back to you room or do whatever you want," say Kaname and he walk away.
That day Zero doesn't go to the class. Chairman Cross said, he no longer need to go to the class since he already register him to the night class. He just look at Ichiru and Yuuki when they walk away before continue his sleep. Yeah, he need to sleep because after this he no longer had time to sleep at night. He need to sleep at day time. But still, it's no different for him because he always sleeping in the class. That afternoon, he walk to Moon Dormitory. He choose to go at afternoon because he know that the vampires is sleeping at noon. But he sighed when he saw Takuma open the door for him. Is he really the vampire? Why doesn't he fall asleep? It's noon right now.
"Welcome, Kiryuu-kun. Kaname told me that you will come. But I don't know that you will come this sooner. Everyone is still sleeping. And Kaname also is still sleeping," say Takuma when he let Zero walk in to the dorm. He smile brightly, just like usual.
"Oh, it's okay. I don't want to meet anyone just yet. Can you tell me where is my room?" ask Zero quickly. He want to enter his room and look at it. Just where did they place his things? In the basement? He hope not. He will shot them if they did that.
"Your room? Well your room is the room where you stay here before. The one next to Kaname," say Takuma still with a smile even though he is a little bit hesitate. He just hesitates that if he should let Zero go in without tell Kaname about it. Hmm… should he tell Kaname that Zero is already here? No… maybe not. Kaname can sense Zero presence when Zero walk in this dorm. Kaname always did.
"Oh, that room. Okay, thanks Takuma-senpai," say Zero without any word, just walk from there. He smile a little. He likes that room so he doesn't mind even though when he thinks about it, the room is next door to Kaname. He frowned. What a bad choice. Did Kaname plan this? He will ask it later. Now, he feel so tired and he need rest so damn much.
His first day in Moon Dormitory is not that bad. He know that Kaname must say something to all night class students, that's why no one dare to say something bad to him. He know that they don't likes him but they just silent and stay away from him. Just much to his liking. He loves it when the vampires stay away from him. He skip the lunch and dinner. He still need to adjust his time so it won't feels awkward to him. How can he adjust the time from night to days? Breakfast at dinner and lunch at the midnight. He need time to adjust. Maybe a few couple of days.
"Are you comfortable in here?" ask Kaname when he enter Zero's room that night. More to afternoon for the vampire times. Today is Saturday so they don't have to go to the class. It's good because he don't have to deal with the crazy fan girls out there. All the day class students must be shocked if they saw him in night class student's uniform and walk out from Moon Dormitory with all night class students.
"Yes, for now," say Zero don't really pay his attention to Kaname. He don't have time for that. He lay down lazily on his bed while reading some book. It's better for him to read the book than look at Kaname's face.
Kaname smile a little. "For now? What is that mean?" ask Kaname.
"It's doesn't mean anything. Can you please leave me alone?" Zero sighed. He put the Bloody Rose under his pillow. He need his weapon if he want to survive here. He know that all the vampires hate him. If Kaname is not here, they all will murder him as soon as he put his foot in this dorm.
"Okay, but find me if you need anything. And you don't eat your dinner yet. I will have Takuma send you something so please eat it. You must eat and please don't skip it. You must remember that you eat for two now," say Kaname softly. He will ask the doctor come to the dorm soon to check on Zero later. He walk to the door slowly.
Zero greet his teeth. Annoyed. "Huh, if I need to. Just get out and leave me alone." Zero glance at Kaname and when he saw Kaname walk out from his room, he sighed. It's so hard to face Kaname and his inner circles. Especially when they know your secret. He touch his flat stomach. Did he have to keep this baby? He still don't know yet.
After he gets out from Zero's room, Kaname walk to the old library in the basement. It's been awhile since last he came here. He feels like he want to read something. Maybe about a male pregnancy. The usual library won't keep something like that so he need to find it somewhere else. That's why he had the old library in the basement. Only him and Takuma who had the key to the basement. Kaname stay there for awhile. Almost 30 minutes there, he found an old book in the shelf. It's not the book that he was looking for but… that book look suspicious to him so he takes that book and get out from there. He will read it in his room where no one will disturb him.
