Sorry for the late update. I'm kind of busy with a job interview. I'm seeking for a job right now. I have to do a lot of preparation for that day. So… sorry for the late update okay. Chapter thirty one- Two purebloods…
It's been almost one week and Zero still don't want to see Kaname's face. It's not that he is mad at Kaname but… he really mad at Kaname that he don't tell him the truth about their child. Yeah, their child when he know who the father is. If he don't know who the father is, it's going to be his child alone. And he really can't accept it if he is pregnant with that kidnapper vampire child. What are you going to tell your child if they is asking about their another parent? There is no way he can tell the truth.
Okay, back to talk about him and Kaname. Zero doesn't want to get out from his room at all and he's also don't go to class. Takuma will bring him his food at time to times and he will advise Zero to get out from his room but Zero doesn't pay him any attention. Why must he get out? How can he face Kaname after what had happen between them. In this whole week, he had to accept the reality that he and Kaname have had sex and they are going to have child together.
Zero sighed. He rub his face a few times. He just eat but he still feel hungry. He bite his lips when he realize of what he is hungry for. Blood. Kaname's blood. It's been awhile since last he drinks it so that's why he can't stay still. Maybe he should sleep.
Kaname look through the report that the council give him. He's a little bit tension when Zero still don't want to get out from his room. It is a bad idea to tell Zero the truth? He glance on the clock. It's almost lunch hour at school and he had a lunch with Yuuki. It's bad that Zero don't want to get out from his room. If Zero's did, he can ask Zero to come with him. He's already ask Aidou to protect Yuuki when Zero is not there. Kaname walk out from his office in the Moon Dormitory. He glance at Zero's room which still close tightly. He sighed. Maybe he should go meet Zero this night and have a talk.
He meet Yuuki under the trees at the school lawn. All the day class students gather around the lawn and make a noise when they see him. It's good that he bring Kain and Takuma with him to help Aidou controls the day class students.
"Zero would be fine, right?" ask Yuuki after they eat their lunch. He glance at Kaname for a while.
"Yeah," Kaname don't want to say anything that will give Yuuki any bad idea.
"That's good," say Yuuki slowly. Suddenly Yuuki feel his chest hurt so much. He grip his chest and he breath so hard.
"Yuuki?" Kaname's worried. "Yuuki? Are you okay? What happened?" ask Kaname while he tries to grab Yuuki's shoulder.
"It's hurt. My chest, my head, my bodies… everything's hurt," say Yuuki before she faint. Kaname quickly grab her body and hug her lightly.
"Yuuki, it's okay. I will protect you," say Kaname quietly. It seems like it's time for him to change Yuuki back. And it's also mean that Rido is near. He surely will attack them soon.
After bring Yuuki to Chairman Cross private quarters, he walk home slowly. He need to talk to Zero about this. Kaname walk to his room after he meet with Chairman Cross that night. He give a suggestion or more to demand that he want all day class students away from school for awhile. Rido surely will attack them soon so they can't let any day class students harm in the attack. When he enter his room, he can sense something unusual around him. He grinds his teeth. Rido. He walk around his room when saw a letter on his table. He open it slowly when he saw his uncle's vision. It's a soul letter.
"Hello, Kaname! Or… should I call you nephew?" Rido laugh a little. "It terrifies to call you my nephew. The last time we met was 10 years ago, right? I still remember how you slice me. It hurt so badly, Kaname," say Rido playfully. "That day, the shapeless body disintegrated by you took 10 years to slowly recover. Hmm… I guess, I should thank the strong vitality of purebloods. If not, it would take longer for me to recover. It seems like a lot had happened during the last 10 years."
"My fiancée, Shizuka disappeared as well. To be honest, I feel really relieved about that since its hard for me to make to make her obedient to me. I always feel that something like that will never happen. Well, it doesn't matter. In any case, to completely come back to life and as long as I get all of the things… it's doesn't matter. Anyway, that child… has she awoken from the daze yet?" Rido laughed. "When the happy dream becomes a nightmare, if you leave her alone, then those vicious fangs will start destroying her from the inside." That's all Rido manage to say before his vision faded.
Kaname tear the letter. He grip his hand tightly.
"Damn! Don't think a filthy lowlife like you could ever touch her. I won't let you," say Kaname slowly. He burn the letter until it's ash no longer visible. He need to awake Yuuki sooner than when he think he will. The most important is, Zero. He need to tell Zero first. Before, he don't have to think of anything. But now… he had Zero to think of before he does anything.
It's almost 12 o'clock. A midnight. Kaname walk to Zero's room. He knock it a few times but Zero don't answer him. He can sense Zero presence in there so that's mean, Zero still mad at him.
"Hey, Zero. I have something to tell you," say Kaname slowly. Before that, he make sure that nobody is there to listen to him.
"I don't want to listen to you. So get off," say Zero from inside.
Kaname sighed.
"Zero, I know that you are mad at me but… you must to listen to me. It's about Yuuki." Kaname stop for awhile to take a breath. "There is change of plan. I need to awake her quickly because Rido is already here. So… tonight. I will awake her tonight. Sorry, Zero," say Kaname before he go away.
Zero is startled when he hear that. Tonight? Kaname will change Yuuki, tonight! Zero run to open the door but Kaname is already gone. Damn it!
Kaname run to Yuuki's room at Chairman Cross private quarters. He walk through the window and he saw Yuuki on the floor. She seems like having a nightmare. He quickly run and hug Yuuki tightly. He kiss Yuuki's forehead softly.
"You will be fine," whisper Kaname gently. He pick Yuuki's up in his arm when Yuuki is fainted again. He just about to jump through the window once again when Zero barge in.
"What will you done with her? Are you really going to wake her up?" ask Zero panting because he run from Moon Dormitory to come here.
"I will wake her up. That's what I should do now. It's my responsibility. I will protect her," say Kaname slowly.
"Hey, are you forgetting? You give that responsibility to me! I'm the one who should protect her," yell Zero. He grinds his teeth.
"Yeah, I know. But now… our child is also your responsibility to protect. So please take good care of yourself," say Kaname before he jump through the window.
Zero stroke his hair roughly. Damn! He almost forgot that he is pregnant right now. Damn Kaname! Damn Rido! Damn everything! Zero growled and blame on everything about his condition right now. How would he fight now?!
Kaname bring Yuuki at the top clock tower. He hear Yuuki mumble something but he don't really pay attention to it.
"The world is going to dyed with the color of blood. It will never be able to go back to the way it was before," mumble Yuuki slowly. Kaname held Yuuki tightly. He know that Yuuki is suffer right now.
"Yuuki, it's okay now. Everything is going to be alright." Kaname whispered slowly. "I am going to awake you," say Kaname before he bite Yuuki and suck her blood. Yuuki slowly opened her eyes. She feels cold but somehow… warm. She feels her neck is a little bit hurt and he realize that there is someone has suck her blood.
"Ah! Let me go," she tries to struggle but the figure held her too tight. She tries to look harder and saw Kaname is the one who has suck her blood. "Ka… Kana… me-sen… pai…" Yuuki tries to push Kaname away but fail miserably. Kaname cover Yuuki's mouth with his large hand. It's hard to concentrate when Yuuki is struggled so hard. Yuuki just close her eyes. She can feel her blood flowing out from her neck. Yuuki is so shocked when suddenly her bloody feel so hot and he can feel her bodies is scattered from inside out. Yuuki feel unconscious.
Kaname wipe his mouth. He stroke Yuuki's cheek softly. "Yuuki… I won't let you suffer anymore," say Kaname before he bites his wrist to draw blood. He suck his blood and then he give his blood to Yuuki through mouth to mouth.
Yuuki open her eyes once again and she tries to struggle when she feels blood on her mouth. Kaname had force a blood through her mouth and she swollen it. Suddenly she stop struggle and her eyes is changing to the red color.
"Have you awakened, Yuuki?" ask Kaname gently.
Yuuki stare at Kaname. She was in daze. She suddenly remember Kaname's face when he was a child.
"Do you know who I am?" ask Kaname once again when Yuuki just silent and she just bring her hand to his cheek slowly. She remember now. Everything.
"You are my…" before she can finish her word, suddenly she feel someone presence. She quickly look at the top clock tower and she was Zero's there.
"I sense a pureblood and Yuuki's blood here that's why I came. I recognized the smell. So… that's you," say Zero quietly but Yuuki and Kaname still can hear it. There is a Bloody Rose in his hand. "I can sense it. The presence of two pureblood vampires. It's you, Kaname Kuran and you… Yuuki," say Zero unconsciously point his guns toward them.
Yuuki who think that Zero is going to shoot Kaname quickly run in front of Kaname and shield him with her small body. "Stop it, Zero! Don't shoot him! He is my… brother," say Yuuki feels a little bit guilty when she told Zero the truth. She can't hide it forever.
Zero a little bit startled when he hear that. Yeah, it's not like Kaname doesn't tell him before but still… to hear it from Yuuki's mouth, it still a little bit shocked to him. Sibling. Kaname and Yuuki is sibling.
"Sorry… I am sorry… Zero," that's all Yuuki manage to say before she fainted.
Kaname quickly catch her body before her fall.
Zero sighed slowly. He put his Bloody Rose away. It's not like he's going to shoot them anyway. Kaname pick Yuuki's up and bring her to the Moon Dormitory. There's no need to hide anymore because everyone in the Moon Dormitory probably already sense it. Another pureblood vampire.
"Will you come with me?" ask Kaname softly when he hold Yuuki gently in his arm.
"Later," say Zero. He just want to be alone for awhile. He just look at Kaname's figure until he gone. He grip his hand tightly. It's not like he can't accept the idea that Yuuki is Kaname's sister but… he saw it with his eyes that Kaname had give Yuuki his blood. So, what's that mean? Did they bond together too? Zero grip his hand until it's bleeding. Unconsciously, his blood flow through his finger and drop on the ground. He sighed before slowly follow Kaname's path.
Kaname bring Yuuki to Moon Dormitory. Like what he thought, his inner circles already waiting for him outside the gate. They look a little bit startled when they him brought Yuuki in his arm. No one dare to say a word.
"Was Cross Yuuki born as a pureblood?" It's Kain who the first to ask Kaname. If he doesn't ask it, there is no one dare to ask anything.
"She's your sister?" ask Aidou after that.
Kain glance at Aidou. "Hanabusa, the Kuran family doesn't have a daughter," say Kain slowly.
Kanama just silent when he hear that. "Yuuki was, the adore daughter whom Haruka and Juuri had hidden. She is my sister but nobody know that," sighed Kaname. At least his inner circles need to hear the truth about him and Yuuki. They deserve it.
They are a little bit shocked to hear that. If it's not coming from Kaname's own mouth, they won't believe it. Takuma just silent. He doesn't have anything to say. Ruka just grip her hand tightly. No wonder Kaname always take good care of Yuuki.
"Is the person who made the entire academy in dangerous environment, aiming for your sister?" ask Kain again. "Even though we don't know who the enemy is, we will continue to be on guard like this."
"You are not going to ask the name of the enemy?" ask Kaname. He make a gesture that he wants them all to follow him. This is not the place where they should talk openly. Just when he want to enter the house, he glance at Zero when he sense his presence behind him. He's a little bit relieved that Zero is back. He can't let Zero wander around especially at the time like this.
"You should come too, Zero," say Kaname slowly.
Zero just huffed when he hear that. But he know that he should go if he want to know more. Slowly he make a move toward Kaname. Everyone is a little bit startled when they saw Zero so obedient. It's feel weird. But they also follow behind.
Kaname put Yuuki in an empty room upstairs from his room.
"You want to know?" ask Kaname while he cover Yuuki's body with a blanket.
"Not really. It's because the reason for us to follow Kaname-sama is not because you are a pureblood," say Kain honestly.
Kaname smile a little. "It looks like I have been spoiled by you guys. I will tell you what you should know for now," say Kaname silently. It not like he want to tell them everything.
Rido sit silently watching everything. He came alone to school to saw Yuuki with his own eyes. He smirked when he saw how Kaname awake Yuuki from her human side. Just when Kaname when away, he saw someone at the top clock tower. From his face, he know that was Zero Kiryuu, Ichiru's twin and Touma's prey. What's so good about him? Rido sit there silently when suddenly he smell's a blood. He smirked. Zero's blood smells so good. Maybe that's why Touma want Zero. Maybe he should have a taste later? Yeah, later.
Kaname walk out from Yuuki's room. Yuuki is sleeping after he feed her with his own blood. He saw Seiren waiting for him meanwhile everyone else is gone.
"Seiren, it will be dawn soon. Have those who are able to move during the day take turns to guarding the day class. Make sure all the day class students empty the school and dorm ground today before sunset. Because after this, many unexpected things will happen." Kaname give an order to Seiren, his loyal servant.
"I am at your service, my master," say Seiren before she disappears.
Kain and Aidou was the one who Kaname ordered to guard Yuuki. Both of them just stand silently when Ruka came to them.
"Akatsuki, I caught you at the good time. It will be dawn soon. Kaname-sama want us to guard the day class students. We need to make sure the school and Sun dormitory is vacant before the sunset. That's Kaname-sama's order," say Ruka while she drags Kain with her. Aidou can deal with Yuuki alone.
"Are you okay?" ask Kain to Ruka. He know that Ruka likes Kaname but he can't do anything.
"Yeah, I am okay. I want to show you that I am a strong and responsible woman. It's not like I can't fall in love with someone else," say Ruka with a smile. She need to be strong. From the start she already know that Kaname won't be her.
Kain just look at the stars. He sighed a little. There is something terrible going to happen. He can sense it.
Yuuki just woke up from her sleep suddenly after she had a dream of her past. She glance at the clock. It's 8 in the morning. She sighed slowly. The last memory of her before she fainted is… Zero. Yeah, Zero! She need to meet Zero and make sure that he don't shoot Kaname. Yuuki quickly sit up. She walk out from her room. She look around and nobody there. She smile a little and walk to Zero's room. It's good that she is so familiar with this dorm. She walk until she was outside Zero's room. She just about to grab the door knob when suddenly she hear Zero's voice.
"Don't!" growled Zero from the inside.
"Zero?" Yuuki don't grab the knob. She just stands outside the door silently.
"Just don't enter my room, Yuuki. I don't want to saw you for now," say Zero quietly but Yuuki still can hear it because of her vampire blood.
"But why? I thought that we could talk if we met. I need to talk to you, Zero," say Yuuki. She really have to talk to Zero. She don't want Zero to hate her.
"I know but… I don't want to meet you for now, Yuuki. Just leave me alone for now. I need time," say Zero. He really need time to think all of this. There is so much to think. About his self, about Kaname, Yuuki and his unborn child with Kaname. He want to be alone for awhile.
Yuuki sighed. "Okay, Zero. We will meet later," say Yuuki before she go away. She will give him a time to think because she too need a time.
