Chapter thirty two- Once again…
Just like what Kaname has ordered, all the night class student who are able to walk during the day had to guard and watch the day class students leave the school ground. Ruka and Kain just inspect the day class students from far away. It's still early so not many students come out yet.
Back in the Moon Dormitory, Yuuki step outside after she glance at the clock. It's almost 9 in the morning. She had to make sure all the day class students emptying the school ground. Even she is a vampire now but… she's still the perfect of Cross Academy. She had to make sure all the day class students obey the Chairman Cross order this time. She just walk out of the front door when she meet Aidou.
"Ruka brought these shoes for you," say Aidou while he walk slowly to Yuuki with shoes on his hand.
Yuuki just glance at Aidou before she walk away. She just ignore him.
Aidou sighed loudly before he run after her. "Wait. I said, wait! Cross Yuuki," yell Aidou. But when he realize what he had said, he bite his lips. "No, I mean… Yuuki-sama! Please stop! You are still barefoot." Aidou growled. It so hard to address Yuuki as 'sama' when he always calling her anything he want before.
Yuuki stop immediately. Wow, it just weird to hear Aidou call her that. It make her sound so old. She hear Aidou walk close to her.
"Whatever. I don't care anymore. Just hurry and put on these. I mean, please put on these shoes, Yuuki-sama," say Aidou quickly. He bow down to put on shoes at Yuuki's feet.
Yuuki stare at Aidou. Weird.
Aidou stare back. "What?" ask Aidou.
"No, it's nothing just… I never thought the day would come when Aidou-senpai would call me Yuuki-sama. I thought you would still use 'Cross Yuuki' or 'Hey you' to me. Wow, it's gross," says Yuuki with a chilly.
Sighed. Aidou put the shoes on Yuuki slowly. "I'm sorry for everything I do up until now." Aidou stand up slowly. He glance at Yuuki. Yeah, he had to admit that Yuuki really looks different. "Where are you going?" ask Aidou. He need to know because he is the one who will responsible if anything happen to her.
"I want to go back to my house. I need to change my clothes. I don't want to wear the sleeping gown at the day broad light. And, I still need to make sure all the day class student move out today," say Yuuki before she walk away from Aidou. He follow behind her.
"I can get you your uniform. And about that matter, you don't have to worry. Kaname-sama already ordered all the night class students to guard all the day class students. We will make sure the school ground and Sun Dormitory in vacant before sunset," Aidou gives Yuuki an explanation.
Yuuki just sighed and shake her head slowly. "There is no need for you to do that. I can do it for myself. And about that matter, I am the perfect of this school. So of course I will guards the day class students by myself. I least, I need to be there," say Yuuki before she go away.
Aidou just sighed. Like brother like sister. Both of them are so hard to please. Darn! He just follow slowly from behind.
Yuuki go to her house to change clothes. After that she eat something at the kitchen. Just bread and milk is available because Chairman Cross doesn't cook anything this morning. When she saw Aidou, she smile a little.
"Hey, did you want to eat something?" ask Yuuki.
"Eat?" ask Aidou, weird.
"Yeah, I will make something to you," say Yuuki while she stuff her mouth with bread.
Aidou just shake his head. He still remember that Zero has said that Yuuki can't cook. So he better don't eat it. Furthermore, he is a picking eater. He doesn't eat any food that he doesn't like. "No, thank you. I'm just fine."
"Oh, okay." Yuuki just shrug her shoulder. Whatever. After she eating, she walk to the forest near the sun dormitory. She can saw that there is a few students chitchatting with each other. With her vampire abilities, she can hear what they have said.
"Hey, did you know why chairman suddenly cancel our class and give us a break?" ask the first student.
"No, I don't know. He just said that he need to do some renovation at school building so he don't want anyone here," say the second student while all her friends just nod their head.
Yuuki chuckled. School renovation? That's what her foster father had said? Wow, so 'brilliant'. But… maybe it's true. They surely need to do some renovation after this. Rido will attack the school, she can sense it. Just anytime soon. She hope that the school won't destroy too much or Chairman Cross will cry for sure.
Zero also gets out from his room. He's still a perfect because Chairman Cross doesn't say anything that he is not the perfect anymore. He had a job to do. Even if Kaname and Yuuki is there to look after day class students, he can't stay still and just let them do all the jobs. Before he walk out from the dorm, he enter the kitchen to get some breakfast. He is a little weak because of he don't drink any blood so he need to settle with food for now. Maybe he should meet Kaname and have a talk this night so he can suck his blood. Yeah, he should do just that. Zero smirked. He will suck him dry.
He walk to the forest and jump to the trees. He just sits there to watch at the day class students. He just watches and sometime he will take a nap. It's so comfortable there and his body is too tired. That's what he hate the most about the pregnancy things. It makes his body feel tired too easily and he sleep too much than before.
He don't know how long he had sleeping there. When he open his eyes, it's already evening. Maybe 5 or 6 in the evening. He look at the gate. There he saw the students walk slowly to the gate. He sighed. He sleep too long. Just when he want to go from there, he sense someone presence around him. He look around and he saw Kaname not too far from there. Did Kaname watch his sleeping there? Oh my gods, it's so embarrassing! He glance at Kaname once again with a little flustered face and he saw Kaname walk toward him. Zero just stay still.
"Hey, are you okay?" ask Kaname. He smile a little when he saw Zero. At least Zero don't lock his self in the room today.
"I'm fine," say Zero slowly. "So… how about the students?" ask Zero. He feel awkward when he and Kaname don't talk for one week. And there is no specific topic for them to talk for.
"They are good. All the day class students already leave the school. Maybe there are two or three students left. We will make sure they leave the school ground quickly. This school no longer safe for them. It's hard to fight when we need to take care their safety at the same time," say Kaname.
Zero just nods his head. Just when he want to open his mouth to tell Kaname something, suddenly he hear Yuuki's voice. She is looking for Kaname. Sounds like urgent.
"Kaname onii-sama," call Yuuki when she arrived there. She is a little bit startled when she saw Zero but, it's not time for them to talk. She had something urgent and important to tell his brother.
"What is it, Yuuki?" ask Kaname softly.
"They are here. Can you feel it?" say Yuuki.
Kaname and Zero shocked. They can't feel it yet. They just too deep in thought to realize it sooner. Darm!
"You can feel it, Yuuki?" ask Kaname.
"Yes, I can feel it. I feel a sinister presence. Something that pull me to it. Something is stirring and full with intent to kill. It's too dark and it's coming closer," say Yuuki, slowly. Just when she finishes say it, suddenly they hear a loud scream from the girl's dormitory. They quickly run there.
"There is a vampire!" scream that a day class students scarily when she saw a woman vampire tries to kill her. Kaname, Zero and Yuuki just arrived when they saw Kain and Ruka already finish that vampire. That day class students are already fainted. Kain pick them up to bring her at the safe place. They need to erase their memory later.
"We won't forgive those who trespass upon Kaname-sama's territory," say Ruka while she saw that vampire turn to dusk.
Kaname sighed. "I don't think they will attack us this sooner. Shit!" Just when he said that a few ex-human vampires come to attack them again. Kain and Ruka have no problem to settle them. All Kaname inner circle come running at Kaname. They are waiting for Kaname's order. Kaname feel silent for awhile. He look at them all before he look at Zero's face. He open his mouth slowly.
"Okay, I want all of you to protect the school ground and dormitory. And please take a good care of my family," say Kaname give an order. He can't say he want them to take a good care of Zero. Of course he want both Yuuki and Zero to be safe. That's why he uses the 'family' word. And he knows, Zero won't like it if he ordered them to protect him. Zero is too prideful. And he know that they will questioning him too much if he order them to do that. "I need to go somewhere else with Takuma. So I won't be here for awhile. I will be back," say Kaname once again. The last word is mean for Zero. He want Zero to know that he will be back.
"Where are you going?" ask Yuuki. She want to know.
"The Vampire Council. I have a 'word' with them." Kaname smirked. "I need to go now," say Kaname before he go away."
Zero a little bit startled when Kaname just go like that so he runs after Kaname. "Kaname!" call Zero a little bit loud. Kaname stop abruptly.
"Yes?"
Zero walk closer to Kaname but he still hesitate to say anything. Takuma is there so how can he say anything? Kaname seems like to realize it so he ordered Takuma to go first. Takuma just nod his head while he hold his katana tightly.
"You will be back, don't you?" ask Zero slowly.
"Yes, of course. I already promise it."
"Okay. I just want you to know that you are indebted me an explanation. A lot of explanation. I will hear it when you get back and after all of this shit is finish, so… come back safely," say Zero with a flustered face. His face is red as tomatoes.
Kaname smile sweetly. He walk closer to Zero and slowly he plant a kiss on Zero's lips. Zero is a little bit shocked but he let him anyway. After a few moments, he push him slowly.
"Hey, don't get too carried away. It just a good luck charm for you. So… urm… good bye and good luck," say Zero before he run away from there. Oh god. He just too shock to ask Kaname that he want his blood.
Kaname just smile widely. Zero is too cute to resist.
Yuuki with all the night class students guard around the school after that when they were attacked again. Yuuki had ordered for Rima and Shiki to take a good care of day class students whom they place them in school infirmary.
Zero run to the Chairman Cross office at his private quarters. He quickly enter the office when he sense Chairman Cross, his twin, Ichiru and his master, Yagari Touga presence in there.
"They already attacked us!" say Zero quickly before they can ask him anything.
Chairman Cross look at Zero and he glance at Yagari Touga. "We should move now. I need to protect my school," say the Chairman Cross seriously. His eyes brighter dangerously. Zero is a little bit shudder when he saw that. This was another side of Chairman Cross that he rarely saw. He just nod his head.
Slowly Chairman Cross opened a black box. Zero doesn't know how long that box had been there. He don't realize it before. He hear Chairman Cross sighed slowly before he takes whatever things he has in there. Just a few minutes later, he saw a beautiful sword. He frowned because he never saw that sword before.
"I really doesn't want to use it but… it seems like I need to use it once again," say Chairman Cross slowly before he take off his glasses.
Yagari Touga just silently grab his guns and they walk outside. Ichiru just follow behind them.
Just when they run outside, they were attacked by the ex-human vampire. Chairman Cross quickly slice them, Yagari Touga shoot them and Ichiru also use his sword to help. Zero want to help but Chairman Cross want him to go somewhere else.
"They are coming for Yuuki. You need to protect Yuuki. No matter what, don't let them get Yuuki," say Chairman Cross. Zero just nod his hear before he go away. Now, where the hell should he find her?!
Aidou were fighting until he arrived at the old building where Maria Kurenai or Shizuka Hio stay before. Ruka and Kain just a few meters behind him. Just when he fighting, suddenly the building is explode. He's lucky because he doesn't enter the building and the explosion is not too big. Curiously, he walk over to the accident place on the rooftop. Slowly he peek in and he was shocked when he saw someone. That face and those eyes. He know it! Kuran Rido!
He's a little bit startled when Rido spotted him up there. Nervously, he open his mouth. "You are… Kuran Rido-sama," say Aidou nervously. He's scare but he doesn't want to show it too much.
Rido look at him and smirked. It's too frightened for Aidou to look at that face. "Well, well, well…. What we have here. Actually, I already full and I don't need any more appetizers but… if it is you pretty boy, I'm sure that I still can go for one more round. You seem to be something worth eating." Rido smirked. "Now, be obedient and come here," say Rido darkly. "After all, you guys will not betray your 'king', the pureblood."
Aidou can't control his body. Yeah, of course he can't. Rido is a pureblood vampire and he's just a level B class vampire. Of course no matter what, he need to listen to Rido's order even if he don't want to. He just about to jump at where Rido is when suddenly someone grab and hold his body.
"Senpai, wake up! Get a hold of yourself, Aidou-senpai! Don't listen to him. You just need to listen to Kaname onii-sama," yell Yuuki before she push Aidou behind her.
Aidou a little bit startled when he saw Yuuki there. He want to help but Yuuki shake her head. "You don't have to help me. You can't beat him even if you want to. Let me do this. I need to settled this myself," say Yuuki growled at Rido when she saw that man smile at her.
"Finally, I can meet you pureblood princess of the vampire. I'm glad you are here. I have been waiting for you all this times, the youngest and most energetic pureblood princess in this world," say Rido with a smirked. He licks his lips.
"Nice to meet you. Are you Rido ojii-sama?" ask Yuuki even though she know who he is. That eyes, that face, she can remember it clearly. "Your eyes looking at me like you want to eat me."
Rido just stare at Yuuki's face silently. "Alike. You look like Juuri," say Rido before he jump in front of Yuuki. He tries to touch Yuuki but Yuuki dodge him.
"Don't touch me!" growled Yuuki. She hold his Artemis that now looks like a scythe tightly.
"I don't get Juuri before, but now I will get you. You will replace Juuri," say Rido before he fly to attack Yuuki once again.
"Yuuki Kuran!" yell Aidou loudly before he run and grab Yuuki away from Rido. "Idiot! Did you fall for it?" yell Aidou shell Yuuki behind him. Furthermore, Kaname want him to take a good care of Yuuki.
"I'm not!" yell Yuuki back. He glare at Aidou furiously. She's not an idiot!
"Yuuki…. Right, 'Yuuki', that's the name that Haruka and Juuri gave you. Even though I have you, you still not my Juuri. It's pointless. Well, I will stick with my old plan. I will get you no matter what for my next experiment. Just like what I did with Haruka and Jurri's son before," say Rido and he laugh evilly.
Yuuki grind her teeth.
"And, what a bad girl you are, Yuuki. Swinging something so dangerous at me. I will kill you just like how I kill them all before and then I will get Kaname. I will be the last Kuran in this world," say Rido and he smirked.
Aidou glance at Yuuki. He can saw that Yuuki is sad right now.
"Aidou-senpai, please move back! Let me defeat him. I want to defeat him," say Yuuki determined. She will end it all here. Just when she finished that, she sense something and she quickly push Aidou away. "Move back!" yell Yuuki while she also dodge it. Just a few second later, that rooftop where Rido stand at is destroyed. Everyone is shocked but then clam when they saw Zero walk out from that thick smoke.
"Zero…" Yuuki is a little bit speechless when she saw Zero. "What are you doing here?" ask Yuuki confused. She think that Zero is still mad at her after he know who she is. Zero hate vampire especially pureblood. She is a pureblood so Zero maybe hate her so much just like how he hate Kaname.
Zero just glance at Yuuki and sighed. "You know that Kaname want me to protect you?" ask Zero and Yuuki just nod her head quickly. "That's why I'm here. To protect you or he will get mad at me," say Zero before he look at where Rido is. Yuuki also look at Rido. "Hey, how long do you plan to sleep? Wake up, vampire!" growled Zero and he pointed his Bloody Rose at Rido. Suddenly he feels dizzy. Damn! He forget do drinks blood from Kaname. He need to defend for now.
Rido quickly get up and attack Zero with unbelievable speed but Yuuki quickly run to Zero to help him. She use her scythe to slash at Rido and she stand behind Zero. At least, she can protect Zero's back. Rido glare at them. He stand no too far from Zero and Yuuki.
"What are you doing?" ask Zero. He glance at Yuuki.
"I also need to protect you. Kaname onii-sama says to protect the family. You are my family so I need to protect you, Zero!" say Yuuki determined. She won't go away and she will be Zero's ally even if Zero hate her.
"Suit yourself," sighed Zero. At least, there is someone he can trust cover his back. Just when he say that, Rido attack them once again. He tries to grab Yuuki but Zero shoot at him so he jump back to dodge the shoot. Rido smirked when he saw Zero and Yuuki.
"Purebloods can force other vampires to submit to their will. We have the power to make them do anything we want. With that in mind, I'm really wondering if you will be able to beat me. Especially you, Zero Kiryuu. You are just an ex-human. The lowest among our hierarchy. Can you disobey me?" Rido say poisonously. He smirked.
"Huh, you think I will obey you? No way in hell. I will never obey any vampires especially the pureblood bastard like you. I will kill you," spat Zero. He really hate this vampire. More than he hate Kaname. "You are my hunted animal."
Rido laughed when he hear that. So brave. Zero Kiryuu. They had tell him before that Zero Kiryuu never bowed to any vampire especially purebloods. "So I am you prey? Why you don't kill Kaname yet? He's the pureblood too," ask Rido chuckled.
"Yes, of course I hate him but I can't kill him now. This school still need him," say Zero. And I'm still need him too in my condition right now. "I will settle it with you. You just look like him so I have no problem to kill you. It will be my pleasure to kill you, bastard!" growled Zero before he shoot at Rido once again. Yeah, he need to kill Rido. If he kill Rido now, at least Kaname will be at ease. Shit! Why must he think like that right now? It's not for Kaname but for him. He kill Rido because he want to!
Yuuki also attack Rido at the same time but Rido dodge it easily.
"You want to kill me?" Rido laughed loudly. It's too funny. "It's still 1000 years too early for you to kill me. "Don't make me laughed, ex-hunter. It's the opposite. It is you who are my prey." Rido tries to attack once again. He use his sharp claws to attack Zero.
Zero tries to dodge the attack but suddenly he feels dizzy and almost black out. His body is tired. He can't dodge the attack in time and Rido's claws pierce his chest. Zero is in bloody mess right now. He pant heavily. Why now in all time? Rido pull his claws and smirked. He jump back when Yuuki slash him with her scythe.
"Zero!" yell Yuuki worried. She hold Zero tightly. What should he do now?
Zero just sit down and breath heavily. It's good that Rido don't pierce him at his stomach. It he do, he can lost his baby. His baby…. Zero touch his stomach weakly. It is still there? He's pregnancy is just almost two months. So there is still no bump showed yet.
Rido smirked. He licks Zero's blood in his hand and his eyes quickly glow in flashing blood red. This blood. This taste of blood is too alluring. This blood will taste like this just if the vampire is… pregnant. Rido stare at Zero. Did this ex-human pregnant? No way! Suddenly he remember something. He smirked even wider. And old spell of the purebloods can make any vampire pregnant. When he think about it, Touma say that he want Zero. Maybe this is why. He licks Zero's blood once again. It's too alluring. He want it. He really want it. Yuuki is not a matter anymore. He can handle Touma later.
"You are pregnant. How interesting. Who's the father?" ask Rido. What he know, Touma is not the father. He can sense it. Then he glare at Zero. No way. It's Kaname. After this baby is born, it will be a little Kuran in this world. Damn! But when he think once again, he smile widely. He want him no matter what. That baby of little Kuran is more precious than little princess over there.
"I think, I know who the father is. Wow, I never thought that you will let him touch you. No wonder you doesn't want to kill him." Rido chuckled. He touch his face a little before he put his finger in his mouth. "I want to eat you. You should be quiet and let me devour you to make you part of mine. You know, I was waiting for you to be ripe to eat," say Rido. He stand not too far from them. Yuuki still on her guard. She will protect Zero now.
"Shizuka planted the seed, Touma fertilized you and Kaname raised you. Now it's time for me to reap the fruits." Rido laughed. "I so pity you. Your whole life was violated and controlled by purebloods. And you will now disappear the same way you lived." Rido laughed darkly. He flying do fast at Yuuki and Zero. Yuuki tries to defend them both but she a little bit careless when Rido suddenly grab Zero's collar shirt and pull him.
"Zero!" yell Yuuki and Zero tries to struggles but Rido quickly use his power to make Zero fainted. He hug Zero's body tightly.
"Sorry, my princess but I have change my prey. I don't want you anymore. He's more valuable than you. Tell Kaname, I say 'thank you for everything'. I will go now," say Rido before he vanish in the thin air with Zero.
Aidou, Kain and Ruka who saw everything also startled. They don't know what to do. At least, Rido Kuran don't get Yuuki, right?
"Zero!" Yuuki scream loudly.
