Chapter thirty three- The lost…
Kaname walk slowly enter the Vampire Council hall when he sense the vampires presence in there. He smirked. It's good. That's mean everyone get his message. Kaname hide in the dark. He won't move just yet. Takuma look at Kaname silently and just stand behind him.
"Kaname, I will take care of my grandfather myself. Please leave it to me," say Takuma determined.
Kaname nodded his head. Takuma smile a little before vanish in the air to go find his grandfather somewhere in the Vampire Council room.
"What is it that you want from us… Kaname-sama?" ask a woman, noble class vampire while she hold Kaname's bat, which carry the message tightly. She talk first as representative from the group to talk to Kaname. She is one of the oldest vampires in the council like Ichiou. "To go as far as using such a transformation technique to summon us all here," say her again. She let the bat go and watches that bat fly toward Kaname before turn into blood and absorb into Kaname.
Kaname walk silently toward them before stop just a few feet in front of them. Kaname eyed them one by one.
"At the very beginning of everything, I found myself slowly sinking into a pit of despair. It's about the condition of the vampires. And even after being awoken from a slumber, you guys in the council still don't changed one little bit. It's frustrated," say Kaname suddenly.
Everyone look at Kaname weirdly. "Kaname-sama…. What in the world are you talking about, my lord?" ask another vampire. They just don't understand what Kaname want to tell them.
"I have made a decision. The decision I had taken in my first period of despair. I initially changed my mind about it and held back. But now… time has come for me to do it. And you are going to be the first ones," say Kaname darkly with a little smile.
"Kaname-sama… we realize that you are rejecting the council. But… but the council is a necessary system to allow vampires to go on existing, by maintaining the balance between us and the others." Another male vampire open his mouth. He frowned. "Your grandfather, the respectable last king of the Kuran had said so himself," say him again.
Kaname just smirked.
"A system that can no longer tell good from evil is a system that can no longer be used. Is it not the case?" ask Kaname but more to statement. "But… that's not the excuses why I come here today. I have another excuse. I just don't believe that all of you are complotting with Kuran Rido to take over me. And the worse is, you guys help him to kidnap my sister, Yuuki. How dare you!" Kaname use his pureblood vampire to control all the noble class vampires in that room and make then chocked their own neck. "Now… please vanish from here", say Kaname before he make all the vampires break their own neck and crush their head.
Kaname sighed. He feels so glad that Zero and Yuuki are not there to saw all of that. He still remembers that when he saw still a kid, Yuuki had said that he was a gentle vampire. "Sorry, Yuuki. I am not what you are thinking I am," mumble Kaname to his self.
Clap! Clap! Clap! Suddenly Kaname hear someone clap their hand. Kaname quickly look behind him and saw someone there. He frowned when he recognize the face and presence. He glare at the intruder.
"Why are you here, Touma?" ask Kaname while he glare at Touma. Touma is one of the pureblood but because he is younger than Kaname, Kaname don't really pay attention to him. To him, Touma is just a kid but for human, he look just like a teenager ages 16 or 17 years old.
Touma greet his teeth when he hear that. Damn it, Kaname Kuran! He just sit and watch what Kaname done in the dark before. He should know that all the noble class before can't hold Kaname at all. "I don't think that you need to ask that question. Doesn't its obvious? I came here to kill you," say Touma smirked.
Kaname don't seem to surprise when he hear that. He just smirked. "So, you too? I should know it. Rido would ask you to help him." Kaname said slowly more to himself. "You seem eager to kill me," say Kaname when he glare at Touma.
"Of course I am. I will get back what you take from me before. I put a lot of effort for it and you just take it from me like that. Unforgivable!" growled Touma and he fly to attack Kaname with his pureblood powers. He take out his sword and run at Kaname once again.
Kaname a little bit shocked when he hear that. He had something belong to Touma? What is it? He never cross a path with Touma before so there is no way he will take anything belong to Touma. "What are you talking about? I take something from you? Nonsense!" say Kaname while he defend himself and dodge from Touma's attack. He can kill Touma anytime he want but he want to know what is Touma talking about. What it is that he takes from him?
"Don't play dumb with me, Kaname. You take Zero Kiryuu away from me. After what I did to him, you just take him from me just like that. So I will kill you and take him back with me," yell Touma and run toward Kaname. He attacks Kaname with his pureblood ability. He manages to push Kaname back but not enough to hurt Kaname.
Kaname greet his teeth tightly. He can feel all his power boiling inside his body. "Zero? So… you are the one who kidnapped him that night? You are the one who make that spell to his body to place the womb in it? I should know it when I saw your face in here." Kaname attack Touma in the blink of an eye. He grab Touma's neck tightly.
"You say that I take Zero away from you? Are you forget or are you try to play dumb? It's you who take Zero away from me. Zero is already belong to me before you came and take him away. And you say that you want to kill me and take him back? In your dream. I will kill you," say Kaname darkly before his power slipped and destroy the surrounding.
Touma struggle for a few times. He tries to get away but fail. Kaname's hold is too tight.
"But… I must to say thanks to you because of what you did, Zero now belong to me completely. He and me already bonded together," say Kaname with a small smile.
Touma's eyes flashed red when he hear that. No way! Zero can't be….
"And yes… he is pregnant now. With my child. Now, die!" say Kaname and he use his hand to pierce Touma's heart. "If you really likes Zero that much, maybe you can give your blood to him. But… since of Zero only drinks blood from me, so… it's me who will drink your blood for him," say Kaname before he sank his fang in Touma's neck and suck his blood. Not only his blood, he also will obtain all Touma's powers just like Shizuka Hio before. Kaname take out his fang and wipe his mouth with his hand. He just glance at Touma's corpse which turn to dust a few minutes later.
Kaname walk away. He goes to the bathroom nearby to wash his hand and face. He doesn't want to look messy when he saw Zero later after he settle everything here. He walk to the hall once again. He doesn't want to interrupt Takuma's fight with his grandfather. Just when Kaname want to walk to the council secret room to look for something, he sense someone presence going toward the Vampire Council. He frowned. He walk outside and wait for the intruder. Just a few minutes later, he saw Yuuki and after a few seconds later, all his inner circles are already there. He frowned. Especially when Zero is not there. Maybe Zero doesn't want to come. But he's glad that Yuuki is okay.
"What are doing here, Yuuki?" ask Kaname. He frowned when he saw Yuuki pant so hard. Its looks like Yuuki ran with all her might to come here.
"Kaname onii-sama. Please forgive me," say Yuuki a little bit sad.
Kaname frowned once again. "What happen?" ask Kaname.
Yuuki bit her lips. "It's Zero."
Kaname can feel that his heart beat so hard and fast when he heard his mate's name. "What happen to Zero?" ask Kaname serious. He tries not to look mad.
"Rido… Rido takes Zero with him. He doesn't want me, he want Zero because Zero is pregnant. I'm sorry, Kaname onii-sama. What should we do?" ask Yuuki before she cries. She so scare and worried about Zero.
Kaname feels like he want to dies when he hear that Rido got Zero. Damn it! He should predict that Rido would tries to change his prey. Kaname lost his mind for awhile and his power leak out. Especially because of Touma's blood that he drinks before. He only stop when he head Yuuki's voice calling for his name.
"Don't worry, Yuuki. We will find him soon," say Kaname. He need to plan something. Suddenly he realize something. He ran toward Takuma quickly. Yuuki and all his inner circles follow him from behind without a word.
"Takuma, stop!" Kaname barely stopped Takuma from pierce his grandfather's heart with his katana. Takuma a little bit shocked when he hear that. Kaname want him to stop? Weird. But Takuma still stop anyway. He look at Kaname but Kaname don't look at him at all. Kaname just look at his grandfather with his bloody red eyes.
"What happen, Kaname?" ask Takuma weak and he feels weird especially when he saw all his friends is here. Kaname look furious.
"Later, Takuma." Kaname look at Ichiou and use his pureblood ability to make Ichiou obey. "Where is he? Where is Rido's hideout?" ask Kaname serious. He grab Ichiou neck tightly. He won't hesitate to kill that man who betrays him. Kaname use his power to read Ichiou's mind so he can't lies.
"His hideout… is… at… my castle in the south forest. He hide himself… in there," say Ichiou can't resist Kaname's power.
Kaname smirked darkly and throw Ichiou body at the wall. "You can finish him now, Takuma. Or… you can let me do it myself," say Kaname when he glance at Takuma.
"No, I will do the honor. Let me kill him, Kaname," say Takuma and without spend any time, he kill his grandfather. Takuma fall to his knee after his grandfather turn into the dust. He pant hardly and almost blackout it not because of Shiki who help him to stand.
"You already have done a great job, Takuma. You can rest now. We will go back to the school. Chairman Cross need to know about this." Kaname give an order and they all quickly back to the Cross Academy. Especially when he sense a presence of Sara Shirabuki, one of the pureblood vampire. He really doesn't want to deal with that crazy girl now or he will kill another pureblood today.
Chairman Cross slump in his chair when he hear that Rido got Zero. It's his fault that he want Zero to protect Yuuki no matter what. Ichiru just silent and Yagari Touga already smash the nearest table a few times with his fist when he hear that. The damn pureblood bastard had kidnapped his student. He will find him and kill him himself.
"And Chairman Cross… I already know who kidnapped Zero before," say Kaname slowly. He glance at Chairman Cross and Yagari Touga.
"Who?!" It's Yagari Touga who open his mouth first.
"A pureblood. Touma," say Kaname.
"Lord Touma? He is the one who kidnapped Zero and do all that things to him? That vampire…." Chairman Cross doesn't know what to say. He sighed.
"Tell me where he is right now! I don't care even if he is a pureblood vampire, I will kill him myself. The Vampire Hunter Organization can't do anything anymore because they are the one who complotted with Rido to attack this school," spat Yagari Touga furiously. He hold his riffle tightly. He will hunt that bastard until he kill him.
Kaname smirked when he hear that. "There is no need for that. I already kill him myself with all the Vampire Council members. So, you don't have to waste your time to go and hunt him anymore," say Kaname.
Yagari Touga glare at Kaname when he hear that. Damn! Kaname stole his prey.
Kaname back to his serious mode. "What more important now is, we need to find Zero. We already know where his location is. So, we just need to attack," say Kaname.
"No. It's to dangerous. All of you already tired because of today's attack. Rido will expect us to attack him soon so we need a plan. Even if you are the pureblood vampire, you still need rest Kaname. And you yourself already know that you can't kill Rido," say Chairman Cross seriously. There is no time for joke.
Kaname glare at Chairman Cross.
"What did he mean by you can't kill Rido Kuran-sama, Kaname-sama?" ask Aidou curiously. Everyone look at Kaname except Chairman Cross. He know the truth anyway.
Kaname just sighed. He know that one day everyone will know the truth. "Yes, it's true that I can't kill Rido myself. That's why I need Zero to help me because he is the only one who can help me kill Rido. What why I feed Zero with my own blood. I want him to be stronger," say Kaname.
Everyone silent when they hear that. Kaname feed Zero? Chairman Cross, Yuuki, Ichiru and Yagari Touga shocked. So, that's why when they ask Zero who he feed from, Zero doesn't want to open his mouth.
"Even after you know that he is pregnant?" It's Ichiru who ask that question.
Kaname look at Ichiru. He smile a little. Look at Ichiru make him miss Zero so much. "Yes, even after I know that he is pregnant. He will come to me or I will go to find him when he need to feed. But he is too stubborn to come to me so it's me who always need to find him," say Kaname.
"So, you know that Zero is a vampire before?" ask Ruka. She thought that Zero is turn to the vampire after he got kidnapped.
"Yes, of course I know. He is the vampire and at the same time the vampire hunter. That's what makes him the suitable candidate to kill Rido for me," say Kaname.
"So… why you can't kill him?" ask Aidou. He almost say that Kaname have no problems to kill Shizuka Hio before. And Kaname also kill Touma earlier.
"I can't kill him because… I am the ancestor of Kuran. And because… Rido was the 'master' who awakened me from my grave," say Kaname with expressionless face.
Everyone shocked when they hear that.
"What did you mean by that, Kaname onii-sama? So… you are not my brother?" ask Yuuki hesitantly.
Kaname smile a little when he look at Yuuki. "I am sorry, Yuuki. It's not like I am not your brother because this body is your brother's body. Rido kidnapped me, I mean the real Kaname and he use his body to put my soul inside it. That's why, I live as Kaname Kuran and I am glad to be your brother, Yuuki because you are always will be my sister,' say Kaname with a smile. "After he kidnapped me, he want another test subject so that's why he want you, Yuuki. He tries to kidnap you a few times but mom and dad stop him."
Yuuki bite her lips. "That's why you never let me get out from the basement when I was little," Yuuki mumble but all the vampires still can hear her.
"Yes, Yuuki. Now, you all know why he kidnap Zero and what his plan for the baby," say Kaname.
"Okay, you guys. Time to get some rest. We will meet later to discuss our plan. Kaname, I need you to get some rest too," say Chairman Cross.
Kaname want to protest but he just silently nodded his head. Damn! Why can't he go find his Zero?!
Aidou sighed. "Haaahhh… after we manage to protect Yuuki-sama, now we need to go find that vampire hunter. Why must he be so stupid to get kidnapped again?" sigh Aidou.
Kaname feel mad when he hear that. He feels like he want to slap Aidou's mouth because he bad mouthed his beloved.
"That idiot tries to protect Yuuki-sama. Our job is to protect our princess, not that hunter bastard. It's his recklessness that he got kidnapped again," say Ruka after that. She just hug her body.
Kaname greet his teeth. He never punished Ruka but today, maybe he will after what she say about his Zero.
"Anyway, we can't do anything. Zero Kiryuu is nothing to us but he is Chairman Cross foster son. Of course we need to help him to get back his son. And anyway, he get kidnapped because he want to protect Yuuki-sama," say Kain lazily while he stroke his hair.
Kaname just sighed in his heart. That's right. No one know about him and Zero. That's why they bad mouthed Zero in front of him. He should hurry up and find Zero so they both can tell them the truth. Zero is pregnant with his child and they already bonded together.
Rido dump Zero's body in his bed. He smirked widely. He can imagine Kaname's reaction after he knows that he already got Zero. Kaname will be really mad and he know that Kaname will come for him soon. Rido laugh a little. He already has level Es to guard the castle. And he will know immediately if Kaname or anyone attack his castle.
Rido walk away and sit on the couch not far from the bed. He stare at Zero's figure. Not bad. Even thought Zero is a boy, he still has a smooth silky-white pale skin, lean figure, beautiful lilac eyes and rare silver hair. The most important is, Zero now is pregnant with Kaname's child. How he know it? He saw Kuran emblem and symbol at Zero's chest when they fighting and that's mean that Zero is Kaname's mate and they are bonded together. It's Zero's fault because he don't button up his shirt. How lucky for him to get Zero today.
It's not long after that, Zero already regain his consciousness. Zero feel his head hurt so much like someone hit him by giant truck and his body feels weak. He wakes up slowly when he feel so dizzy. Slowly and weakly, he open his eyes and startled when he saw his surroundings. This is not his room, neither Kaname's room. Where is this place? He frowned. Suddenly he smells blood in that room and sense someone presence so he look around quickly. He is so shocked when he saw Rido's face not far from there. More shocked when he saw Rido is sucking blood from human girls. That girl don't even flinch when Rido lick and sink his fang in her neck. He is sure that Rido already put all that girls under his spell.
Now he remember what happen. Rido attack the school and he fight him. Suddenly he feel so weak and Rido kidnap him and bring him here. Zero glare at Rido sharply.
How dare he suck that girl's blood in front of me! Zero grit his teeth. He is too weak to move. He pant slightly. Damn!
"Oh, you wake already?" Rido smirked.
Zero doesn't pay any attention to Rido's question. "What did you want from me, you pureblood bastard?" yell Zero with all his might. He move a little from the bed. It's good that Rido not tied his hand and leg.
Rido smirked even wider. "Of course I want something from you. That's why I get you instead of Yuuki. But… let's just not talk about it yet." Rido walk closer to Zero. He know that Zero is weak right now. Zero's wounds don't heal yet that mean that Zero doesn't have enough blood right now. He smile a little and pull another girl with him. "For now, you can have a drink. I know that you are hungry right now. Come on, drink it," say Rido while he push that girl toward Zero.
Zero's lilac eyes widened. Rido must be crazy. He only drinks his blood from Kaname. Other than Kaname, he won't drink it. He glare at Rido. "No way! I am not like you!" scream Zero. He push that girl away. Now it's not time to worry about that girl. He is more worried about his fate right now. Zero tries to run but fail when Rido yank his leg. Zero almost fall from bed.
He turn his body around and use his long and sharp nail to scratch Rido and he fail miserably. He only manage to scratch Rido's cheek. Rido look at Zero with his mismatch eyes and in the blink of an eyes, he push Zero back into the bed and pull both of Zero's hand into his head. Without warning, he pierces both of Zero's hand with knife.
Zero screams loudly. It hurt. It hurt so much. Zero almost crying and there is tear in his eyes. He bite his lips. He no longer can move with both his hand like that.
"You damn bastard! Just kill me if you want to," growl Zero. His wound feels so hurt and then he realize that it was anti-vampire weapon knife when he feels the spark on his body. But… how did Rido get it? And most important question is, how did Rido manage to use it?
"Tsk… tsk… tsk… no, I won't kill you. I want something from you so I can't kill you yet." Rido walk around him. "This is your punishment because you dare to try to run away from me and you scratch my face. If you don't try to run away, I won't do this to you," Rido chuckled. He sit next to Zero and lightly he touch Zero's cheek.
"You look lovely and delicious. I don't intent to do it now but… it looks like you have a lot of energy left and you refuse to drink so… I think, this is the only way to make you drink," say Rido slowly crawl on top of Zero. He move his face closer to Zero.
Zero's eyes widened. He shake his head. "No! No! Let me go! NO!" scream Zero loudly. Just few minutes after that Zero no longer know what happen anymore.
