But don't worry, Kaname is on the rescue. No more Rido after this. I hate Rido too after all. Very. So much. I don't want to write any RidoxZero anymore. There will no more RidoxZero! Chapter 35- The final battle…
Chairman Cross, Kaname, Yagari Touga, Ichiru, and all Kaname's inner circle already on their way when Chairman Cross get a call from one of the hunter who guard Rido's castle from far away. It is a good news actually because they can plan their next move after this. Just when they arrived at the location where the hunters camp is that evening, Kaname quickly run to the said hunter.
"What news that you want to tell us?" ask Kaname quickly. He can't wait anymore. Three days is too long for him. Anything bad can happen to Zero. He can feel it because of the bond he has with Zero. Zero maybe in bad condition right now but he is still alive because Rido need him to.
"Just be patient for awhile, Kaname," say Chairman Cross and he push Kaname's body a little so he can stand in front of that hunter. If he let Kaname be like that, they won't go anywhere.
That hunter bow a little at Chairman Cross because Chairman Cross is the Vampire Hunter's leader now. "I have a report about Rido 's movement in the castle," say the vampire hunter. He glance at Kaname for awhile before he look at Chairman Cross once again.
"Give me the full report," Chairman Cross give an order. Everyone give their full attention at what the hunter want to say.
"Today, we sense the movement within the castle. We saw Rido at the top of the castle. Maybe that's where Zero was. And just two hours ago, we saw Rido walk out from the castle. We don't so sure where he want to go because no one dare to tail him. We were given the order to guard and watch the movement within the castle so we don't dare to make any movement. Beside, Rido is too powerful for us. But... from the passage, we suspect that he goes to the town near by," say the vampire hunter.
"For now, we still don't make any movement. Level E is everywhere around the castle and we guess that maybe it's around a hundred or more. I suggest, we attack them now before Rido get back here. Please tell us your plan," say that hunter finished his report.
Chairman Cross just thinking for awhile. He has to make a good plan at the limit time. He glance at Kaname and then he look at Ichiru. "I have a plan. But Kaname, you need to work with Ichiru. I can't let you go find Zero on your own because of your condition right now," say Chairman Cross. He glance at Kaname because he know that Ichiru won't object his plan if it's for Zero's safety.
Kaname glance at Ichiru for awhile. "Okay, I agree. Tell us your plan," Kaname quickly agree. He don't want to waste anymore time. Time is gold. Beside, his sympathetic pregnancy is still worse.
"Good. Okay, listen here. Kaname and Ichiru will enter the castle and go to find Zero. All Kaname's inner circle will follow and they will help you guys with the level E inside the castle while we all here will fight the level E outside the castle. Just like what he said," Chairman Cross point his finger at the hunter who give the report to them earlier. "Zero maybe at the top of the castle so I want you guys to go there. First thing first. Find Zero and get him out from there. Maybe it's too much for me to ask you but… if Zero's condition is worse, can you give your blood to him?" ask Chairman Cross at Kaname.
Kaname just smirked. "Of course I will. He is my mate after all," say Kaname. There is no need to ask because he will do that eventually. He will do anything he can to save Zero.
"Thank you, Kaname," say Chairman Cross with a little smile. "Let's get going. We need to hurry and get it done before Rido is back," say Chairman Cross before he grab his sword. The final battle is begin.
Just like what they plan earlier, Ichiru, Kaname and all his inner circles enter the castle while all the vampire hunter kill all the level E outside the castle. Yagari Touga smile widely when he can shoot all the level E vampires. It's a good exercise before he kill Rido later that day. While all Kaname's inner circle fight the level E inside the castle. There is too much level E in there. That's mean, Rido suck too much human blood and turn them to level E.
"Kaname, you must go first. We can't go with you. If you want to go to the top of the castle, you need to run straight using that stair," say Takuma give Kaname and Ichiru the direction to the room at the top of the castle. He point his finger at the stair. Because this castle is his grandfather's castle, of course he know his way here.
"Thank you, Takuma," say Kaname. Using their speed to the fullest, Kaname and Ichiru run to the top of the castle. There is no surprise for them when there is more level E in there. Kaname and Ichiru fight and kill all of them until they arrived at the top of the castle. There is a closed door in front of them and Kaname can sense Zero's presence from that room. He smile a little, Zero is still alive.
Kaname quickly run and open that door in rush. "Zero!" scream Kaname while he run into the room. But his smile quickly disappear when he saw Zero's condition. Kaname's eyes widened when he saw his Zero on the bed.
"Kaname, what are you doing? Quickly go and save Zero," Ichiru growled when he saw Kaname froze in front of the door. Without waiting for Kaname's reply, Ichiru quickly get into the room and he too froze when he saw Zero's condition. He lost all his word. He just look at Zero who still laying on the bed. Naked, bloody, pale, tie up on the bed and Zero look too fragile to touch.
"Zero!" Ichiru yell. He quickly run to Zero. He take off Zero's gag ball and throw it on the floor.
Kaname awaken from his frozen state when he hear Ichiru's voice calling for Zero's name. He run to the bed. "Zero!" Kaname bite his lips. What have Rido done to his Zero? Why doesn't he came and save Zero sooner? Kaname take off his jacket and he put it on top of Zero's naked body. He touch Zero's cheek and rub it gently.
Just a few moment later, Zero open his eyes slowly. He is too tired. He is a little bit afraid when he saw Kaname's face because he just saw Rido every time he open his eyes. Kaname softly caress Zero's cheek and he kiss Zero's forehead.
"Zero… it's me, Kaname," say Kaname gently.
Zero look and stare at Kaname suspiciously until he saw Kaname's eyes and he saw Kaname's brown red eyes and not that mismatched eyes of Rido. He smile a little.
"Ka… Kaname…" Zero's voice is a little bit hoarse because it's been a few days since the last time he use his voice. "You… you really came… Kaname," say Zero tiredly. "I… I call your… name," say Zero again.
"Yes, I came to save you, Zero," say Kaname with a little smile. He look at Zero's hand and frowned when he saw a knife pierce through Zero's hand. He tries to pull the knife but when he touch the knife, he sense an electricity struck his hand. Hurts! Kaname's eyes widened when he realize what it was. Anti-vampire weapon!
"I can't touch the knife. It is anti-vampire weapon. No wonder Zero can't run from here," say Kaname. He growled when he realize what that weapon is. And suddenly a few level E vampire come into the room. What worse is, Kaname can sense Rido's presence. Damn! Rido is already back. "I need you to pull the knife. I will kill that level E vampire and Rido is already back. I will fight him to avoid him from here," say Kaname. He smile a little at Zero and then he walk away.
"Really? Damn!" Ichiru quickly grab that knife and pull it. "Where did Rido get this knife?" mumble Ichiru. He throws the knife on the floor. "Are you okay, Zero?" ask Ichiru worried. He help Zero to sit up. Zero is too weak. Suddenly he remember Chairman Cross order to Kaname. If Zero's condition is too worse, Kaname need to give Zero his blood. But Kaname is not here now. There is just one thing he can do now.
"I am okay," say Zero weakly. He tries to sit up with Ichiru's help. He pant a little. He need blood. But Kaname is not here.
"Zero, you are too weak. You need blood," say Ichiru slowly.
Zero glance at Ichiru a little. "Yeah, I know. But not now," say Zero.
"You need it now. Your condition is too worse and you need blood right away. So, for now… I want you to drink mine," say Ichiru with a smile.
Zero look at Ichiru just like Ichiru had growth a second head. Crazy! "Stop joking, Ichiru. It's not a time for that," say Zero. He glare at Ichiru. He will never drink Ichiru's blood. He doesn't want to drink another human blood after what Rido had done to him before. Even though Ichiru is his twin, Ichiru is still a human.
"I am not joking. I want you to drink my blood, Zero," say Ichiru. When he saw Zero don't make any move, Zero grab the knife on the floor and cut his skin on his neck a little. He let a few drop of blood drop on the floor. Slowly, he run his finger on that wound and bring his bloody finger close to Zero's mouth. That way, Zero can't refuse him anymore.
Zero's lilac eyes quickly turn into bloody red when he smell Ichiru's blood. "I… Ichi… ru…" Zero is panting so hard. He can't resist anymore. Slowly, his tongue lick Ichiru's blood on his lips. And in a blink of an eyes, Zero's fang is lengthen and a second later, Zero's fang is sink into Ichiru's neck. He suck and drink from Ichiru's neck greedily.
Ichiru is a little bit shocked when Zero sink his fang into his neck so suddenly. Furthermore, it is the first time he had someone's fang in his neck and suck his blood. Ichiru smile a little and tries not to hiss in pain when Zero is too rough on him. He hug Zero's body so he will be a little bit comfortable when Zero suck his blood. Yes, this is what he want. He and Zero should be one a long time ago. Half of his soul is Zero's. He doesn't know how long Zero has suck his blood. He know that Zero need a blood and he really doesn't want to push Zero away for the second time. He almost fainted when he hear someone shout his and Zero's name.
Kaname is fighting down the stairs and he go straight to Takuma and all his inner circles. He use his pureblood power to kill all the level E in the hall.
"Takuma, Rido is here. I don't want him to come in so I want you to go to Zero and guard him. Ichiru is there with Zero but I still want you all to go there. I will fight Rido to buy time for us," say Kaname give an order for Takuma.
"Okay," say Takuma nodded his head. He look at all his friends. "You all will come with me. Let's find Zero," say Takuma without waiting for a reply, he run upstairs to the top. All his friends a little bit hesitate to follow but they know that Kaname's order is something that they should obey.
When they arrived at the top, the quickly enter the room and shocked when they saw Zero suck Ichiru's blood. What the worse is, Ichiru is almost fainted because of it but Ichiru doesn't struggle. Takuma regain his sense and quickly shout their names.
"Zero! Ichiru!" shout Takuma loudly. He run to both of them and hesitantly touch Zero's shoulder. "Zero, please let Ichiru go. He almost fainted because of the blood lost," say Takuma softly.
Zero regain his consciousness when he hear Takuma say Ichiru's name. He quickly let Ichiru go but Ichiru still hug him. Zero bite his lips. He feels so guilty because he is the one who make Ichiru like that. He licks Ichiru's wound until it's close.
"Are you okay, Ichiru?" ask Zero worried. "I am sorry. I suck your blood and I don't realize how much I have taken it from you. I am sorry. I am so sorry, Ichiru," say Zero full of guilty. He glance at Ichiru and frowned when Ichiru is smile at him.
"It's okay, Zero," say Ichiru weakly because of lack of blood. However, he still hug on Zero's body. He refuse to let go. He rest his head on Zero's shoulder. "You don't have to worry about me, Zero. I am not weak like I use to be anymore. Besides, I am half of yours. So we are one. I'm glad that I can give you my blood," say Ichiru with a little smile. "You know what, Zero, although we have become different 'species', hugging you like this really calms me down. You are so warm, Zero. It's feel so comfortable. Isn't it because we were from the same egg?" say Ichiru softly.
Zero smile a little and he hug Ichiru gently. "Yeah, I feel so too. I really like it when you are always near me, Ichiru," say Zero. Suddenly Zero feel his body hot and his blood boiled. All his wound is already healed. He push Ichiru's body gently. "I still have something I need to do, Ichiru. There is someone that I need to kill out there."
Takuma quickly grab Zero's hand but Ichiru stop him. "But… Kaname give me an order that we need to guard you," say Takuma. He is so worried. Zero maybe is not pale anymore but his body is still not okay. He can't imagine what Rido have done to Zero before when he saw Zero's bloody body. Even Kaname's white jacket is soaked with Zero's blood.
Zero glance at Takuma. He growled at little. Guard him? Bullshit! He is not that weak. "I don't need anyone to guard me. I can take care of myself," say Zero. Zero want to walk away but Ichiru hold his hand. Zero look at Ichiru, weird.
"What is it, Ichiru?" ask Zero. He doesn't have time to waste. He need to kill Rido fast or he will live in trauma.
"I know that you are in hurry but… you can't go like that. If not because of Kaname's jacket, you are naked underneath. So, please wear some clothes," say Ichiru with a grin.
Zero is a little bit shocked. He look at his self and then he flustered red. Yeah, practically… he is naked. He quickly look around him and he smile a little when he saw his clothes on the couch. Without a word, he quickly wear his clothes and he doesn't pay any attention at Kaname's inner circle. He wear his pant and shirt without buttoning it. He grin wider when he saw his Bloody Rose is still there, maybe it is because Rido can't touch it so that's why he can't throw is gun away.
He grab his Bloody Rose and suddenly his gun is absorb into his body. Zero is so shocked especially everyone around him. Bloody Rose now is gone into Zero's body. Zero bite his lips. What is going on? If Bloody Rose is gone, what should he use to kill Rido now? Zero grit his teeth and he tries to punch the wall but once again suddenly something weird is happening. Instead of his punch, there is a rose vine whip with thorn out from his body and smash the wall in front of him. Zero is startled.
"What's happen, Zero?" ask Ichiru shocked and mesmerized. Wow, he never saw something like this before.
Zero blink his eyes a few times. Still staring at the rose whip with awe. Especially when he realize that the rose whip thorn is silver in color. Wow. Is this his new power after he sucks Ichiru's blood? Amazing! "I don't know. But I think, I like it," say Zero with a wide smile. "Okay, I will see you later," say Zero with a smile. And this time, he really run out from that room through the window.
Kaname who sense Rido outside the castle run quickly to the outside. He grit his teeth when he saw all the hunter is struggling to fight Rido. It's good that he doesn't allow Yuuki to come with them. He run toward Rido and tries to stab him with his claw but Rido dodge it. Kaname only manage to scratch Rido's cheek.
"Well, well, well. Look whose here. My lovely nephew, Kaname," say Rido with a smirked. He lick his cheek and the wound heal. "Did you come to get him? How cheap. You come to attack me when I go out to get some food for Zero," say Rido and then he chuckled.
Kaname grip his fist and grit his teeth. Angry. He hate it when Rido say Zero's name with his dirty mouth. "I come to get back what you stole from me. You are so low. I know what you did to him. And I won't forgive you for this, you bastard. And this time, I will make sure that I kill you forever," say Kaname hissing at Rido. He hate Rido so much. Just if he can kill Rido himself.
Rido laughed crazily. "You want to kill me? Nonsense! Are forget who I am?" ask Rido with a smirked.
Kaname bit his lips. He will shut that dirty mouth so he won't hear his voice anymore. "Maybe I can't. But… there is someone else who can do it." Kaname use his power and run toward Rido. The battle it too fast for the hunter to interfere. They just can stand there and look at them. The battle between the pureblood is so amazing and fearful. No wonder the pureblood vampire is too strong and the battle between them is forbidden. And I few minutes later, they saw Kaname kick Rido and Rido fall to the ground. The castle is going to destroy if Kaname and Rido are fighting like that again.
Kaname stand on the ground. He is panting a little. It's good his sympathetic pregnancy is not bad today. Kaname don't have time to relax because Rido running toward him and tries to attack him once again. Kaname have to defend himself for awhile. When he get a chance he use his pureblood vampire that he got from Shizuka Hio and Touma to attack Rido. He success to stab Rido's stomach but it's still not going to injurd Rido that much. Rido have had enough blood to heal faster. Only anti-vampire weapon can hurt Rido and kill him. He need Zero right now.
Rido chuckled. "You think, you can kill me with this power? I know that you are strong. Even before, you are able to defeat me but you can't kill me. You will never kill me," say Rido and he laughed. His body is full of blood now but he still won't die. He is more powerful that before. Kaname can't defeat him this time. He will kill Kaname instead.
Just a few minutes, Rido's wound is heal completely. Kaname grit his teeth. Damn! Rido is too strong than before. Kaname almost lost in his thought when he suddenly saw Rido run toward him with his glowing hand. Kaname doesn't know what it is. He tries to dodge but it's too late. Just when Rido's power almost pound into him, suddenly he sense Rido is stopped.
"Yeah, maybe he can't kill you, but I can." Kaname quickly open his eyes. He almost startled when he saw Zero a few meters away from him. Zero looks different because of the rose whip around his body. and the most shocked is, the rose whip is out from Zero own body. What's happening to Zero? Kaname is a little bit amused.
