I don't own spider-man, sony does

(Peter's pov)

After I proposed to Gwen, I realized that now we faced another challenge, telling everyone about her pregnancy. "don't worry" Gwen said, in a reassuring tone "I'm sure Aunt May will be overjoyed" "what about your mom?" I said "yeah, she'll be happy about our engagement, but we might have to slip her an adavan before we tell her that we're having a baby"; "alright then, let's do this" I said, feeling slightly relieved.

The next day, we all went out to lunch to tell our families the big news, "mom, aunt May" Gwen said, nervously "Peter and I have something to tell you" then, she pulled the ring out of her pocket and slipped it on her finger. Before either one of us could say anything, we were given hug after hug from my aunt, Gwen's mom, and her brothers, then I decided to tel everyone the rest of the news "and gwen said something just before I proposed" I begun, trying not to sound too excited, "WE'RE HAVING A BABY!" Gwen and I both shouted. Aunt May and Gwen's brothers were ecstatic, Gwen's mom on the other hand, looked rather worried, but Gwen told me she would come around eventually.

Gwen's mom began to warm up to everything a few weeks later, after all, she was getting her first grandchild. About a month before the wedding, out of guilt, she paid for most of the wedding, and even bought us an apartment (she let us pick one but it had to be in the same building as her); we picked one that was only two floors down from her. As the wedding approached, we decided to only have about 35 guests, and it was the same church were Gwen's parents got married in. Gwen's dress was beautiful, it was white with a brief shade of pink, it was strap-less but with long sleeves, and it comfortably held her pregnant stomach. We were finally able to relax when she reached me at the alter. Then after we said our vows, we were pronounced husband and reception was great, as the best man, Harry gave a slightly drunk toast, followed by maid of honor Mary Jane, who was nearly twice as waisted as Harry. We were really lucky that they didn't say anything too embarrassing.

THREE MONTHS LATER

I woke up in the middle of the night to what sounded like someone groaning in pain. "Gwen, what's wrong?" I asked, turning on the lamp on the nightstand next to me

"I don't know, either a face hugger latched onto me when I wasn't looking and now a xenomporph is about to burst through my stomach, or I'm having contractions." She replied sarcastically

"OH okay okay, how far apart are they?" I asked, concerned

"The last one was like seventeen minutes ago." She replied

"Well then we should get to the hospital." I suggested " He book said that if they're less than an hour apart then you need to get to a hospital."

"Peter, that book was written in 1957." She said

"OH...Yeah things were different then." I replied

"Yeah well..." She began before stopping abruptly

"What, what is it?" I asked

"Um...well, I think my water just broke." She said

"Are you sure that you didn't just pee your pants?" I ask

"PETER!" She yelled

"Okay okay, I'll call your mom and aunt may and get us a cab." I quickly said, rushing out of the bed and getting dressed.

We quickly called everyone and rushed to the door. "Hey, we're gonna have a baby tonight." I said softly before we walked out the door

"Yeah, I hope he likes us." She replied

"He? It's a boy?" I asked

"I don't know, but when I picture him in my mind I kinda think he is." She answered, welling up with tears

"Then let's go meet him." I said

Gwen was in misery by the time we reached the delivery room, but kept on pushing; she pushed for about 20 minutes untill we heard a weak cry. A small, bloody object being held up by the doctor. "it's a boy." the doctor said. About a minute later, they handed him to us, "Do we have a name?" they asked, "George" I said, looking at Gwen and our new son "George Benjiman Parker". He weighed about 6 lbs, and looked just like Gwen (except for my brown hair and my nose). A few hours later, after Gwen finally feel asleep and everyone left, I was finally able to hold my son for longer than five seconds. After a few seconds, he opened his eyes "hey buddy, long day huh" I said to him, trying not to cry, he began to smile, just before grabbing my thumb with his fist. We sat their for about an hour untill gwen woke up to feed him.

When I first found out I was going to be a dad, I was terrified, I had no idea how to raise a kid, but the minute he looked at me, all of my fears and doubts about seeing myself as a father were gone; and with Gwen by my side, I knew that together, we could accomplish anything
