"PROFESSOR MCGONAGALL?!" Harry yelled, as he bursted through her office door. Without looking up from the assignments she was grading, she asked in a calm voice "What may I help you with today, Mr. Potter?" It took awhile for Harry to regain his composure and gather his breath, so he sat down in the chair in front of McGonagall's desk. When he finally got himself together, he wasted no time in asking Professor McGonagall "Do you have any Time Turners I can use?" This time McGonagall looked at Harry with a deep curiosity forming in her eyes. She asked him "Whatever would you need with a Time Turner, Mr. Potter?" Harry told her "I'm going to stop Hermione from getting attacked, and I'm still going to make sure that Professor Umbridge gets arrested and sent to Azkaban for trying to attack Hermione." McGonagall pursed her lips together in a tight line, and Harry could've sworn that she was about to start crying.

She grabbed a tissue from her desk, and dabbed the sides of her eyes. "That's very admirable of you Mr. Potter, but I gave the Time Turner that Ms. Granger had to another student who's taking at least two more classes than usual." Harry sat there stunned until he asked "Who is it?" Professor McGonagall told him "It's Ms. Spinnet." Harry got up from the table and walked over to the door, while telling Professor McGonagall "Thanks Professor." He headed to the one place he knew that Alicia would be at this time of day: the Quidditch Pitch. He found himself once again running towards another destination, but this time with a purpose that was heavy within his being. He arrived at the Quidditch Pitch five minutes later, and saw that Alicia was in the air on her broomstick throwing Quaffles into one of the three goalposts.

"OY ALICIA! COME DOWN HERE SO I CAN ASK YOU SOMETHING!" Harry yelled up to her. Alicia looked down to see who was yelling at her, and she flew down when she saw it was her teammate Harry. "What is it Harry?" Alicia asked him. "I was wondering if I could borrow your Time Turner for about 2 hours? It's really important." he told her. She gave him a look of utmost suspicion, then told him "Spill Harry. What are you hiding, and why do you need the Time Turner?" Harry sighed and was hoping to avoid this, but thought to himself "She's going to forget when I use the Time Turner." He then explained to her everything that happened over the hours, except for his trip through the Dark Corridor. Alicia placed her hands over her mouth in shock, which Harry assumed was an "all girls" thing, and she dug the Time Turner out of her pocket and gave it to him. "Thank you Alicia. You've just helped me save my friend." Harry told her, before running towards the Girls Bathroom that Hermione was found in.

When he got there, he placed the Time Turner around his neck, and made sure he had his wand in his pocket. "Let's see, Hermione died two hours ago, but I found her two and half hours ago, so three turns should do it." Harry muttered to himself. He turned the hourglass three times, and watched time reverse itself on sight. "I know people say not to get caught, but I swear to god I'm going to hurt Umbridge." Harry told himself angrily. Everything suddenly stood still, and Harry waited in the shadows by the Girls Bathroom, waiting for Hermione and Umbridge to come. It was about fifteen minutes before Hermione came, and instantly he felt guilty because she was crying. "I'm such an idiot for suggesting that." Hermione wept to herself, as she entered the bathroom. "Ron was right." Harry thought to himself, when he heard Hermione say that. Harry continued to lie in wait for Umbridge, each passing second making him angrier and angrier. It was about ten minutes before he found Hermione, when Umbridge showed up muttering her plans. "I'll get rid of that Potter brat if it's the last thing I do, and when I finish with him I'll move on to McGonagall. Then I'll take my rightful place as Hogwarts High Inquisitor." she told her. It was at this time that a shocked faced Hermione came out of the Girls Bathroom, and she looked at Umbridge with fear.

Umbridge saw her and pointed her wand at Hermione. "I'm so sorry dear, but you weren't supposed to hear that. I'm afraid I'll have to get rid of you as well." Umbridge told Hermione. Hermione was walking backwards slowly, while begging her not to, but her pleas fell on deaf ears. "Confrin-" Umbridge started casting, but before she could finish, Harry came out of the shadows pointing his wand at Umbridge. "CRUCIO!" Harry casted angrily at Umbridge. She started twitching on the ground in pain, and Hermione watched her best friend glaring murderously at Umbridge, while keeping the curse going on Umbridge. "Harry? HARRY?! That's enough Harry, you can kill her." Hermione screeched to him, and Harry replied in a high cold voice "It's what she deserves." Hermione then placed her hand on his wand wrist, and looked at him and immediately Harry stopped. "We're going to take her to Professor Dumbledore, and have him deal with her." Hermione told Harry. "It's nice seeing you again Hermione, and I'm sorry for yelling at you." Harry told her, as she levitated Umbridge's unconscious body into the air.

"Before we go anywhere Harry, you need to use a different spell with your wand right now." Hermione told him. "Why would I have to do that?" Harry asked her. She explained "When they ask how you knocked her unconscious, and you lie to them, they'll check the last spell you used. When they find out you used an Unforgivable Curse on Umbridge, you might end up going to Azkaban." Harry looked down at his Phoenix feather wand, and just realized that he had used an Unforgivable Curse with it. He pointed it at one of the pieces of armor, and casted "Stupefy!" A red streak of light hit the armor, and it collapsed. He and Hermione then headed to Professor Dumbledore's Office, while Harry explained to her what happened that caused his violent reaction. "So that's what happened. She attacked me and I succumbed to my injuries. Meanwhile, you thought it was your fault that I died. I hope you know it wasn't your fault Harry." Hermione told him. Harry smiled at his best friend as they reached the gargoyle guarding the Headmaster's Office.

"Can you tell Professor Dumbledore that we have a teacher that just tried to attack me with us?" Hermione told the gargoyle. The gargoyle hopped aside a moment later to let Harry, Hermione and their unconscious guest up the stairs. Harry knocked on the door, and a few seconds later Professor Dumbledore told them "Come in." Harry opened the door wide for Hermione and Umbridge, and Hermione placed Umbridge's unconscious body in the chair in front of Dumbledore's desk. "I caught Umbridge here trying to attack Hermione by one of the Girls Bathrooms. I used the Stunning Spell to knock her unconscious so she couldn't do so, Professor." Harry told Dumbledore. Dumbledore looked at Harry then Hermione, then flicked his wand at the chair Umbridge was in, then chains sprung themselves around Umbridge. Dumbledore then walked over to his fireplace, and stuck his head inside the green fire. It took a few moments, but Dumbledore brought his head back out, and after he did a lady came out of the fire. Harry noticed it was the same woman who was at his hearing during the summer. "As you can see Madam Bones, Mr. Potter stunned Professor Umbridge when he saw that she was about to attack Ms. Granger. Now I can have my Potions Master bring some Veritaserum to help with your investigation, if that helps?" Dumbledore asked her.

"That would be remarkably helpful, Headmaster." Madam Bones told him, her voice full of disgust at Umbridge for bringing even more shame upon the Ministry of Magic. Dumbledore wrote a quick note and called to his pet Phoenix, Fawkes. Fawkes flew down to Dumbledore in a graceful manner and held out his leg for him. He attached the note to Fawkes' leg, and told him "Take this to Professor Snape, and bring him here when he has what I asked for." Fawkes nodded then flashed out of the room. Meanwhile, Madam Bones brought out a piece of parchment and a bottle of ink. "Headmaster, may I borrow a quill for a moment?" she asked Dumbledore. "Please Madam Bones, I insist that you use one." Harry then felt a twinge of pain in his left hand from Umbridge's detention, and he lifted it up while wincing. "What happened to your hand Harry?" Hermione asked him when he lifted up his hand. Madam Bones turned to Harry and so did Dumbledore.

Harry hated being the center of attention for things, but he answered Hermione's question. "It was from my detention with Umbridge. She made me write lines. While I was writing them, the words ended up carved into my hand. I suspect it was the quill." he told her. "THE NERVE OF THE WOMAN! TO USE A BLOOD QUILL IN SCHOOL!" Madam Bones yelled. "Excuse me Madam Bones, but what is a Blood Quill?" Madam Bones calmed down enough to answer Harry's question. "A Blood Quill Mr. Potter, is a dark magical object of torture that writes in the users own blood. Whatever the user writes will appear on the back of either of your hands." she answered. Harry once again looked down at his scarred left hand, and Hermione told him "We could try Murtlap essence to get rid of the pain and the scarring." Harry nodded his head at her, and a second later, Fawkes returned with Harry's least favorite teacher: Professor Snape. "You've sent for me Headmaster?" Snape asked in his usual cold voice. "Ah Severus, have you brought the Veritaserum like I asked you to?" Dumbledore asked him.

Snape produced a black vial that Harry remembered Snape showing him last year, sometime before or after his first experience with a Pensieve. Dumbledore once again pointed his wand at Umbridge, but this time she was brought out of her unconscious state. "Where am I? What am I doing here?" Professor Umbridge groggily asked. "Severus, if you would pour the Veritaserum down Dolores' throat." Dumbledore told him with a calm anger growing in his voice. In one swift move, Snape downed the entire vials contents down the throat of Umbridge. Everyone waited for her eyes to glaze to begin. "What is your name?" Madam Bones interrogated. "My name is Dolores Jane Umbridge, Senior Undersecretary to the Minister of Magic." Madam Bones wrote this down on her parchment, and continued the interrogation. "When were you born?" she asked Umbridge. Umbridge replied "December 15th, 1976." Madam Bones wrote this down, the asked the key question "Earlier today, did you try to attack one Miss Hermione Granger?" Umbridge looked over at Hermione with a wicked smile on her face, then replied "Of course, with the intent to kill her. She overheard my plan to kill the interfering Potter brat, then to kill Minerva to reclaim my rightful place as Hogwarts High Inquisitor." With a look of anger on her face, Madam Bones wrote that down also. "Who stopped you from attacking Ms. Granger, and how did they stop you?" Madam Bones asked Umbridge.

Harry knew he was in trouble, because Umbridge heard the name of the curse he used, and felt its effects. Out of the corner of his eyes, he saw Hermione cast a spell at Umbridge, while everyone else was watching Umbridge. "It was the annoying Potter brat that ruined my plans once again, and I remember seeing a red flash of light before darkness." Umbridge answered. With a look of confusion on his face, Harry wondered why she said that. Then the answer dawned on him, Hermione used a Memory Charm to permanently change the memory of Umbridge's attack. "I've heard all I've needed to hear. Dolores Umbridge, you are under arrest for attempted murder of a minor, and planning the murder of another minor and one of your coworkers. If I have it my way in court, you will never see another light of day again." Madam Bones growled at Dolores. It was then that the effects of the Veritaserum worn off, and Umbridge realized that her days were numbered. She was starting to show fear in her eyes for the first time in her life, and she knew she was going to Azkaban.

Madam Bones pushed Umbridge through the Floo in the fireplace, and they both disappeared to Azkaban prison. "Thank you Mr. Potter and Ms. Granger for ending a serious threat to our school. Ms. Granger, I apologize for what almost happened to you." Dumbledore told her. Hermione nodded and she and Harry walked out of the office, then headed for the Gryffindor Common Room. Well, at least Hermione did. Harry had to return to the Quidditch Pitch to return the Time Turner to Alicia Spinnet. "OY ALICIA?! GET DOWN HERE SO I CAN GIVE YOU SOMETHING!" Harry yelled up to her. Alicia saw who it was yelling at her, and she came down towards Harry. "What is it Harry?" Alicia asked him a little peeved. Harry reached around his neck and took off the Time Turner, then handed it back to Alicia. "Thank you for letting me borrow it. It really helped." Harry told her. Alicia smiled at him, then went back to her Chaser training. Harry headed back towards the Gryffindor Tower, feeling emotionally and physically drained from the days events. "It can't get any worse right?" Harry thought to himself, while entering the Fat Lady's portrait. Little did he know that it was going to get a lot worse by the time he went to sleep.
