The rest of their Christmas vacation flew by fast at Greengrass Manor, and on the day they were supposed to go back to Hogwarts, Harry and Daphne found themselves wishing they could stay at the manor even longer. After the incident with Shade that Harry didn't know about but Daphne did, they had managed to find hidden rooms in the huge manor. They found two inside that huge library of theirs, where they found ancient scrolls that date back to medieval times, and some ancient talismans too. They kept quiet about it, because they figured everything should be left there in its proper place. They even found a hidden room in the room that Harry was staying in, and it led to an attic that the Greengrass Family didn't even know they had. It was filled to the brim with old family heirlooms, and old clothes from earlier centuries, and even more books and journals.

"Looks like this is goodbye until you come back in June. It was nice having you over Harry." Mr. Greengrass told him at the platform, while shaking his hand. Harry returned the sentiment by telling Mr. Greengrass "Thanks for having me sir." Daphne's mother on the other hand, gave him a big hug and handed him a bag of food. Daphne's little sister, Astoria Greengrass, gave him a weird look and headed onto the train ahead of them. "Harry? HARRY?!" yelled a familiar voice from behind him. He turned around and was met with a head full of bushy, brown hair. Harry found the air getting knocked out of his body, and when he get some oxygen back in him, he told the owner of the bushy, brown hair "Oy Hermione. Didn't have to run into me. How was your holidays?" he asked his best friend. "My holiday was spent at the Burrow. When I wasn't alone with Ron, I was helping Mrs. Weasley with the cooking and such, and talking to Ginny." Hermione told him. Ron then came from out of nowhere and said "I got a Prefect Badge, courtesy of you and Professor McGonagall, Harry."

Harry nodded and smiled at both of his friends, and turned to the Greengrass Family. "Thanks for letting me stay at your home again." Harry told them. "Don't mention it Harry. You're welcome at anytime to come over." Mrs. Greengrass told him. Mr. Greengrass nodded in approval, and gave HArry a firm handshake and a hug. He also gave his daughter a hug, and so did his wife. "See you when school's out for the summer." Daphne told her parents. They smiled at their little girl, and told them to get on the train, because it was getting ready to leave. Ron, Harry, Hermione and Daphne got into an empty compartment close to where they got on so they could wave to their family members and such. "What was your holiday like you two?" Hermione asked them as soon as the train took off. "It was pretty fun. The Manor was huge, and that's including the backyard that they have. In the last few days of our holiday, Daphne and I started looking for hidden rooms, and we found a fair few." Harry told them. At the mention of finding hidden rooms Hermione's eyes lit up, since the most likely thing in those rooms would be books she could learn from.

"What was inside of those hidden rooms?" Hermione asked with stars in her eyes. Before Harry could tell her, Daphne got to it before him. "Just some ancient scrolls and artifacts that have been passed down through my family since Medieval Times. Not anything important." Daphne told Hermione. Hermione's lower lip pouted out, as she was looking for much more detail then that. Especially if it was about things like scrolls and artifacts. "I'd like to come and see them for myself one day. If that's alright with you Daphne?" Hermione asked with hope in her voice. Daphne nodded at her, and Hermione gave herself a mental victory shout. That's when things went bad. Draco and his goons opened their compartment door, and came in as if they owned the train. "If it isn't Potty and his friends. Would've imagined that you all would've stayed at home, and be the pathetic people that you are." Draco told them all. "This coming from the spoiled brat who tells his daddy when people aren't doing what he wants. What's that famous phrase he uses Harry?" Ron asked Harry while holding in a fit of laughter. "My father will hear about this!" Harry mocked Malfoy's perfect drawl. After he mocked Draco, Harry started laughing loudly. Draco didn't take too kindly to being made fun of, and it didn't help that Crabbe and Goyle were giving slight chuckles to Harry's impression of Malfoy. Draco pulled his wand out of his cloak pocket, and pointed it at Harry. "Everte-" Draco started casting, but Hermione and Daphne both interjected with "STUPEFY!" Malfoy was blasted back into the wall outside of their compartment, and he got knocked unconscious. Crabbe and Goyle just ran away after seeing their leader get humiliated yet again by Harry and his friends.

"How many times does that make it that we've humiliated Draco now?" Harry asked the others. "A hundred and fifty? Give or take a few times." Ron said. They all laughed and used the rest of their time on the Hogwarts Express with trading knowledge about their classes. "Did either of you finish your Transfiguration, Potions and Care of Magical Creatures homework?" Hermione asked both Harry and Ron. "I was with you the entire time 'Mione. You know I didn't get any of it done." Ron told his girlfriend. Harry shook his head since he knew for a fact that he didn't get any homework done. Hermione shook her head at her two best friends, and pulled out six sheets of parchments, two bottles of ink and two Eagle Feather Quills. "I'll tell you the answers just because I know that we're all trying to avoid extra homework from Snape, Hagrid and McGonagall. Especially with our O.W.L examinations coming up." Hermione told them. Ron and Harry both gave a smile of relief, and Ron stated "Hermione you're a saint. You've always help us out whenever it comes to homework. Thank you for that." Harry told her sincerely. Hermione smiled at her best friend, and then started giving them the answers for all three of the classes they had homework in.

By the time they got back to Hogwarts and changed back into their school robes, Harry and Ron were sporting sore wrists from all of the writing they had just did. "Never again will I do my homework like that." Ron groaned. Harry just nodded his head in agreeance with his best friend, as they all grabbed their things and got off of the train. They had to step over Draco's unconscious body to get off of the train though, which almost everyone who saw that laughed at the blonde prat. Crabbe and Goyle managed to wake Malfoy up in time before the train left with the three of them onboard. Harry, Ron, Hermione and Daphne got into one of the horseless carriages with Ginny, Luna and Neville. "How was your holiday Neville?" Harry asked him as the horseless carriage started moving. "It was alright." Neville responded, yet his voice sounded distant. Harry dismissed the feeling he was getting from Neville, and turned to Luna. "How was your holiday Luna?" he asked her. "Daddy and I went looking for Crumple-Horned Snorkacks for holiday. We haven't found any yet though." she answered in her usual dreamlike voice.

Harry, Ron, Hermione, Daphne and Neville all looked at each other and just shook their heads. It took them about ten minutes to get from the train station to Hogwarts Castle, and when they got off of the carriage, Harry and his friends were once again greeted by Malfoy's glare. "He just doesn't know when to give up, does he?" Daphne asked her boyfriend. "No he doesn't Daph. He's like a boomerang. He keeps coming back, no matter what happens." Harry explained. Daphne and the others laughed at the comparison, and they all walked inside of Hogwarts and into the Great Hall with everyone else. Neville, Ginny, Harry, Ron, Hermione and Daphne situated themselves at the Gryffindor Table, while Luna headed over to the Ravenclaw Table. Harry looked at the Staff Table, and looked for Sirius and found him talking to Professor Sprout. After about ten or twenty minutes of the students talking, Professor Dumbledore stood up from the Staff Table and the whole Great Hall got quiet. "Welcome back to Hogwarts from your holidays everyone. Before we take advantage of the wonderful feast that is about to happen, I would like to remind all 5th and 7th years that your O.W.L.s and your N.E.W.T.s are coming up, and that it is imperative that you start focusing and scheduling your time immediately. Everyone else just do your best in your classes, and you should be quite alright. Now, time for the feast." Professor Dumbledore said. When he finished speaking, the usual copious amounts of food filled all of the tables. Ron wasted no time in reaching for a bit of everything within arm's length.

Daphne however, didn't really eat much of anything and it caught Harry's eye. "What's wrong Daph? Not hungry?" he asked her. Daphne shook her head, then rested her head on his shoulder. "I'm just feeling a bit nauseous at the moment. It should pass soon." she explained. Harry nodded at her but instead of going back to eating, he rubbed Daphne's back to help make her feel better. When Harry rubbed her back, Daphne ended up nuzzling into Harry's neck. Harry placed his head on top of Daphne's and ended up forgetting to finish his food. After a few moments, Daphne's nausea went away and both she and Harry started eating again. The food as usual was magnificent in its own way, and as always Ron and Harry ate seconds and thirds and even fourths. Both Hermione and Daphne looked at their respective boyfriends and shook their heads at them. "How can you two always eat so much?" Hermione asked them. At the same time, they both shrugged their shoulders since it was rude to speak with their mouth full. "Boys." Hermione muttered, to which Daphne nodded her head in absolute agreement.

The feast was actually over quite quickly and everyone headed off to their respective Common Rooms. Hermione and newly appointed Prefect, Ron Weasley, had to escort the First Years to the Common Room so Harry and Daphne got there way before them. Harry was sitting in his favorite chair in front of the fire, and Daphne was sitting on Harry's lap reading a book for Ancient Runes. When Ron and Hermione sat down on their favorite couch after escorting the First Years, Daphne put her book away so they all could talk to each other. "So how are we going to create a study schedule for Ron and Harry, Hermione?" Daphne asked. Ron and Harry both looked at Daphne and confusion, and after the confusion wore off, Harry asked Daphne "A study schedule for what? We don't need one." Daphne laughed at her boyfriend for five minutes before realizing that he was being completely serious. She gave him a small kiss on the cheek to apologize for the laughing, and told Harry "You two do need a study schedule. You guys tend to do everything last minute, and before you know it you have piles upon piles of homework. Harry, you know you need one. Especially with Occlumency Lessons, Quidditch Practice and Games and all of the homework for our classes."

Harry frowned when he was once again proven wrong by his girlfriend. He knew that everything she said was right, and he only knew she was right because Ron couldn't even come up with a complaint. "Fine." both of the males groaned after a ten minute silence. At the end of the ten minute silence, it was half past eleven and the Gryffindor Common Room was deserted except for the four by the fireplace. They were all about to get up and go to sleep, but a movement in the fireplace had stopped them. "Did anybody else see that or was that just me?" Ron asked with a tinge of fear in his voice. "No. I saw it also." Hermione confirmed. Ron let out a breath of relief when she said that. Harry moved to get up but couldn't since Daphne was still sitting on him. Before he could ask her to kindly get up, Sirius' face popped out of the fire. "Hey there you four. How was your holidays?" Sirius asked them. "Ours was fun and busy." Hermione said with Ron nodding in agreeance. "We had fun at Greengrass Manor. Their backyard was huge." Harry told Sirius. Sirius smiled at his godson and said "Well when I was on my vacation, the family I visited said the way they got a Shade out of their relatives body was by having them drink Phoenix Tears, and at least ten or twenty vials of them at that. IT completely flushed any impurity out of the body, and left the drinker in a somewhat superhuman state. Better sight, better hearing, all of that good stuff." Harry nodded at Sirius and thought about it. Drinking a couple dozen vials of Phoenix Tears wasn't so bad, and he really couldn't see a downside to it. He was about to reply to Sirius before he passed out coldly. Daphne turned around to see that her boyfriend fell asleep, and everyone laughed at him.

"Sirius. After class tomorrow, can you and I talk in private?" Daphne asked her future godfather-in-law. "Sure Daphne. Will Harry be accompanying you as well?" Sirius asked in reply. Daphne shook her head as a sign of no, and gave Sirius, Ron and Hermione a look that said 'I'll explain later'. Sirius sighed and said "Well I'll be looking forward to the talk tomorrow. I suggest you three get to sleep like my godson here. Classes are going to get tougher from here on for you Fifth Years." With that final bit of advice, Sirius' head disappeared from the fireplace. "So who's going to help me take my boyfriend up to his dormitory?" Daphne asked looking straight at Ron. Hermione was also looking directly at Ron, and he sighed while holding up his hand as if volunteering to answer a question. Daphne and Hermione both smiled as Ron picked up Harry and threw him over his shoulder. Daphne and Hermione just headed to the Girls Dormitory, giggling and talking quietly as girls do. By the time Ron got all the way to the dormitory with Harry on his shoulders, he was absolutely exhausted. He tossed Harry onto his bed which immediately woke his friend up, and laid down on his own bed passing out effectively.

Harry looked around at his surroundings and noticed he ended up in the dormitory, and looked over at Ron who was already snoring the paint off of the walls. Harry closed his eyes and tried to fall back asleep, but he was met with a nasty surprise in the form of: Shade. "Hello there, Mr. Potter. Or should I start calling you Dark Lord from now on?" Shade asked jokingly. Harry growled at the figure in front of him. "Leave me alone Shade. I'm not in the mood to conversate with you. You better get used to not talking, because I'm going to use Sirius' method of getting rid of you." Harry told him. Shade gave a face of mock terror. "Oh no. He's going to get rid of me by drinking twenty vials of Phoenix Tears. What'll happen to my progeny if I'm not around?" Shade asked in mock questioning. Harry looked at Shade in shock, and asked him "What do you mean by progeny? You don't have a kid." Shade smirked at Harry then burst into a fit of laughter. "What's so funny about that?" Harry asked. That's when a sudden realization had dawned on him. Earlier, Daphne was feeling nauseous from out of nowhere. "I'm going to get rid of that thing. Then I'm going to get rid of you Shade." Harry told him.

Shade continued laughing at Harry, and when he finally stopped laughing he couldn't the look of satisfaction off of his face. "Harry, Harry, Harry. Unlike most other males or spirits, my ability to impregnate women is absolutely 100 percent. She's going to have my child, and you won't be able to do anything about it. She's already two weeks pregnant, and if that isn't enough of a kicker for you, then it's going to be murder to know that the baby will be ready to be born in just three months." Shade explained slowly and snidefully. Harry took a couple steps back away from Shade, and his eyes popped open due to the sunlight. He didn't realize it but he was having trouble breathing, and the shirt he wore from yesterday was drenched in sweat. He sat up looking at everyone else who was still asleep, and got up walking shakingly to the bathroom to prepare for the long day that was ahead.
